No entiendo casi nada de informatica, solo lo basico a nivel usuario para manejar un ordenador, pero este aparato me ha sorprendido gratamente.
Todo funciona bien a la primera, con fluidez, facilidad y eficacia.
Lo uso como sustituto de mi antigua cpu Vista basic que ya estaba muerta.
Para ofimatica, hacer memorias de musica, etc.
Muy silencioso y no se calienta nada.

Il PC di dimensioni compatte e silenzioso. La versione di Windows 11 gira bene con i suoi 6 GB di RAM, almeno per l’uso non impegnativo che ne faccio io. Peccato che sulla versione del PC che ho preso non ci sono le casse audio integrate nello scatolotto, per cui a meno che non si dispone di un monitor con casse integrate bisogna aggiungerle oppure ascoltare l’audio con degli auricolari come ho fatto io.

Il Pc ottimo per il rapporto qualit prezzo e fa il suo dovere e rumore zero, per nella descrizione erano scritti due ingressi HDMI e invece ne ha uno e un VGA, motivo per il quale do una stella in meno nella valutazione, per prodotto arrivato integro, leggerissimo e per il momento pare fare il suo dovere su doppio schermo con programmi basilari come Steam, Gimp, riproduzione Youtube e film e programma con il quale lavoro e cose cos, consigliato, se dovessi avere problemi tra qualche tempo aggiorner perch lo sto usando da pochi giorni

Xlent little pc, small and compact, fits in places you wouldn’t exp[ect a PC. Runs rather well, plenty USB ports, ideal gfx port. Comes with the latest Windows.

Everything worked fine until upgraded to Win11. Most onboard apps are not compatible. Tried to revert back to Win10 and that is were all of the problems started. I only had this Bmax to 5 months. The company only wants to send emails back and forth. When I asked for a replacement the company referred me back to Amazon. Not a happy camper right now.
Does exactly what I want. Runs really quietly and starts up quickly with no issues. Programs also start up and run quickly. Fantastic computer for the price and easy to transport if needed.

Considering that this uses an old/ slow processor, it does run Windows Pro 10 21H1 without any issues. Youtube 4K videos plays fine, and I have not seen the computer heat up too much. Runs very cool and silent. Basic browsing, development all works fine without any noticeable lag. I was able to connect a projector and my monitor using HDMI (both at the same time). However, using USB-C is more practical as I need one cable only. Even that worked without a hitch (not all cables can transfer data at the required rate, so you have to get a good USB-C to USB-C cable. If not you will find USB-C connection does not work).
The only problem that I had was with display drivers. On first startup it installed some Intel drivers that was incompatible and my screen started flickering pretty bad. I had to go in and uninstall the software and the driver. On next update Windows pulled down the correct driver for the video card and everything went fine after that.
I have not installed or played any games on it, as I am sure the GPU that comes with Intel 600 card will not be able to handle new games. This card is now 5 years old. Overall, considering the price and performance, it turned out to be a good buy.

For what I use it for it works well enough, IE, watching Utube videos, mild photo editing and facebook, all ok. However, it does buffer a lot on high definition videos, 480 or 720 being ideal, any higher or having background programs is a no no. Use on Facebook is again acceptable if you are not in a rush as it hangs up if replying to messages that involve emojis, pictures and so forth. But it will do it, you just have to be patient and wait for it to catch up. Windows 10 (which is very good btw) uses half the available ssd memory to operate, about 29 gig. 4 gig of Ram is just barely enough to run the programs, but it does cope. This unit would not support even mild gaming imo. Having said that a machine of double the ram and memory capacity would be ideal for my use but for the price, spec and what I use it for, it does the job.
This is a decent little computer with Windows 10 Pro. The specs are just about right with a zippy CeLeron processor. Not sure what I’d use the USB Type C port for, but it’s there.
I don’t get why the rear ports are USB 2 but the front ports are USB 3. Why aren’t they all USB 3? Makes no sense to me.
Demonstrably faster than the Atom version. I also have the Atom version of this mini-PC and this version runs circles around that one.
The glossy top panel has two plastic covers. The first says to peel off. The second is like a cheap phone screen protector and it also peels off. Not sure what that was all about.
For speed freaks you might want to know it uses SATA SSD, not NVMe, but it comes with two NVMe ports if you want to upgrade but at this price point I wouldn’t bother. I kinda wonder why the designers put two NVMe ports (and a proprietary SATA port) in this device to begin with.

I’m retired. Able to do 99% of my computing needs via my phone. Every so often I find the need to use a desk top and/or larger monitor. Thus the logic behind why I purchased this machine 17 months ago, which until recently has served my needs just fine.
Keeping that in mind I might fire it up twice a month on average. Hardly use. As of today it’s very difficult to get it to boot/start up (noticed a few others complain of the same) Get the BMax screen the little running circle indicating it’s starting, then it stops/freezes. If I go through this process and turn it on/off 5-6 times eventually it boots. Not a good process as it is and thinking I may have experienced it’s final start-up each time I use.
I’ll go name brand with tech support for its replacement. I accustomed to having a PC last 10 or more years
After resetting the pc several times I managed to get it to boot up past the set up page.
After installing everything it seems a very good little machine & great for light use such as browsing the internet, listening to music and checking emails.
Per quello che costa e per quello che ci devo fare io e’ perfetto. Se dovete fare giochi recenti o in 3d, o fare montaggi video, passate a cose piu’ performanti. E’ silenziosissimo, non ci si accorge se e’ acceso.
Unico neo, volevo sostituire l’SSD con uno piu’ capiente ma il bios non riconosce il Crucial, che ho dovuto restituire, quindi nel caso scegliete un SSD M2 di altra marca.
Da anni vendo Intel Nuc, Bmax un ottimo sostituto, unica nota dolente la mancanza di un serio sito con aggiornamenti per bios e drivers

La primera ranura es para un m.2 sata y la segunda SOLO es para un M.2 nvme. Despus de comerme la cabeza y casi devolverlo me di cuenta de que solo admite m.2 NVME en la segunda ranura.
Por otro lado no viene con el cable que permite conectar un disco duro mecnico de 2.5. Se tiene que comprar a parte ( Gran fallo ).
En mi caso se utiliza como servidor de archivos para una red y va fino y rpido. Por poner un ejemplo. Descomprimir un archivo de 30Gb mientras descargas del Torrent mientras navegas y ves videos y todo sin problemas. El PC no suena mucho pero si noto que se calienta.
Yo creo que se podra utilizar perfectamente para trabajar ( Ofimatica, teletrabajo ) y esto no se despeinara.

L’ho preso per mia figlia perch non voleva pi il fisso ingombrante. Devo dire che all’inizio ero un po scettico ma mi sono ricreduto vista la silenziosit e ci gira praticamente quasi tutto. Ovviamente non si possono aspettare prestazioni da server ma ne sono pienamente soddisfatto tant’ che quasi sostituisco anche il mio pc di lavoro. Le porte sono quelle che servono cos come tutte le connessioni. Unito ad un monitor slim da 13″ ed una tastiera e casse bluetooth perfetto!

Ottimo prodotto, non credevo. Ho acquistato questo Mini PC con 1 certo scetticismo ma mi sono ricreduto. Veloce, pratico, silenziosissimo e potente. Processore Intel i5 non certo di ultima generazione ma grazie a 8G di RAM e 256 di memoria, lo rendono 1 favola. Adatto per chi non ha certo grandi pretese…Dad, ufficio, video in streaming…Con giochi o grafica o altro non saprei. Riscalda 1 po’ nonostante la ventola ma penso sia normale. Consiglio, ottimo prodotto!!!
Es pequeo, queda bien en el escritorio y es potente para el uso que le doy. Arranca rpido y no se calienta, ni da problemas durante una sesin continua de Teletrabajo de 8 horas.
Como contra dira que tiene poca memoria, pero se puede ampliar fcilmente con un disco duro slido.
Silencioso, capacidad (adems de ampliable) y memoria mas que suficientes para ofimtica, e incluso soporte vesa para acoplarlo al monitor y ocupar zero espacio en el escritorio.
Conectado a Tv tambin es un gran aliado, especialmente si utilizas Kodi.

Nada nuevo que aadir a los otros comentarios. Es mi primer mini pc, Vengo de un porttil que ya tena 11 aos, y este mini pc, va de maravilla. Es cierto que lo uso para ofimtica, bsquedas en internet y algn que otro vdeo, cosas poco exigentes. No es un diseo muy esttico, pero los perifricos se pueden conectar sin que se estorben unos a otros (parece que en algunos ocurre debido al pequeo tamao). Viene con el cable HDMI.
Quick tip, the first time I used it, it was a little sluggish but it was due to all of the Windows updates it was downloading and installing. So, I gave it some time before actually jumping it and using it. So, if you do buy it, I suggest you do the same.
On to the key specs. It has a core i5 5250U CPU with a base frequency of 1.6GHZ and a boost of up to 2.7GHZ. This ultra low voltage CPU is based on the Broadwell architecture and was released back in 2015. Having said that it actually performs on par with the newer i5 ultra low voltage CPUs, so no need to knock it based on age. While it is not the fastest on the market, it’s much better than the Celeron options that are out there.

The PC comes with 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM which I am not so excited about. Also, there is only one SODIMM memory slot.
Storage: it comes with a 256GB M.2 SATA SSD. Now, I love the M.2 form factor for the SSD but as I mentioned it’s a SATA drive and not an NVME.
Having said all of that do keep in mind that technical specs only matter to a degree. It really depends on what you will be using this machine for. You obviously won’t be able to run the latest graphics-intensive games but if you are running office, writing some code, watching videos, it will work just fine.
The first thing I noticed was that it came with Windows 10 Pro, which was a pleasant surprise. Now, why should you care? Just a few key add-ons that you get is Bitlocker (a Microsoft encryption system). So you can encrypt any drive or individual files. You also get a trusted boot (which basically checks everything that’s being loaded at startup to ensure there is no malware), then a remote desktop, so you can control your PC remotely. This is by no means an exhaustive list but it’s nice to get this out of the box with this BMAX PC.
The first thing you should do after updating Windows is change the Power Plan. It is set to Balanced by default. I changed mine to Performance. Seriously, this not going to affect your electric bill by any noticeable amount.
Overall, seems very snappy with usual tasks, e.g. watching Youtube (even 4k), office apps, email, some coding. These PCs usually come with core i3 or Celeron CPUs so pretty happy that I got an i5. Thumbs up from me.
El espacio de almacenamiento es un poco corto, pero lo he complementado con una tarjeta microSD, y espero que sea suficiente.
Dopo una settimana a guardare le specifiche di un po’ tutti i mini-pc, ho deciso di prendere questo, visto il coupon di 30 euro che ha portato il prezzo a 269 euro. Con altri 40 euro ho preso un kit tastiera+mouse logitech+ webcam generica e con poco pi di 300 euro ho un pc completo e veloce con un rapporto qualit-prezzo inarrivabile. Preso per mia figlia che lo tiene in cameretta, da usare un po’ per tutto: dad, navigazione, servizi streaming tipo Netflix, youtbe, ecc…
Lo consiglio a occhi chiusi, la differenza tra acceso e spento non la si nota, tanto silenzioso.
Modello B5 ottimo in tutto, veloce silenzioso e bello, a questo prezzo non si pu chiedere di pi. Nella confezione sono compresi un foglio con poche istruzioni ma chiare, l’alimentatore, un cavo hdmi e una staffa per l’eventuale montaggio dietro allo schermo. La configurazione iniziale quella classica di windows 10 (pro 64bit). Con cpu sotto stress non scalda per niente e rimane silenzioso. Gli slot interni sono uno per la memoria ddr3, due M2 che vengono utilizzati uno per l’hard disk e uno per il modulo wifi. Assemblaggio e materiali top. Consegna Amazon come sempre impeccabile.

All that aside, I bought this mini computer for use in astrophotography. I know right there that most of you are already checking out. And that is a shame. Because this little baby is great for my needs, and I will bet it would be good for any need you might have for a mini computer. It has a decent processor. It will not win any races. But it is good. It is all solid state – no hard drive platters that need to spin up and no needles to skip back and forth over the surface of the drive looking for data. She does start up quickly. Only has 128 gigs but let us all be honest and admit that most people do not really need more than that unless you are building a “video” collection. For me – after stripping out the normal bloatware that just seems to be on any PC you get these days – I installed five pieces of software – all related to controlling my telescope and my cameras. This little guy runs on 12-volt DC just like all my telescope mounts and cameras. I can haul all this stuff out under a dark sky, set it up, connect it to my Rockman 200W power station, and start imaging. Also, since it has Windows 10 Pro, this allows me to also set this up at home and use Windows Remote Desktop from my main PC to stay nice and toasty warm in my office while controlling all my stuff out in the Minnesota winter weather of zero degrees! With 2 standard USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB Type C (but only 5gbps), it has a lot of you ports you will need. The two USB 2.0 probably go for your mouse and keyboard. And they are conveniently “on the back” of the device along with the HDMI, ethernet, and power ports. Why an ethernet port? Because ethernet is faster than Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi cannot touch it. And probably will not in our lifetime as both keep getting faster. But the benefit for me is that using the ethernet port lets me pull my pictures down (and there are lots of high-resolution images for every session I run) much more quickly than Wi-Fi. About 25 times faster as best I can tell. You “can” attach 3 monitors to this, but two are to the HDMI in the back and the other would be the Type C USB port in the front. I mention this because you may find this works well as an office (or Office even) computer. But if you are looking for a high-end gaming PC, then stop looking at computers in this price range. Real gaming PCs cost 8 to 20 times more than this one does. And you get what you pay for. But that aside, this little machine is performing very well for me. I have a unique application for it. It runs several programs at one that all communicate with each other to take high resolution pictures, control where a telescope is pointed by looking through a guide scope, and all the while letting me watch the whole thing from inside the house running Windows Remote Desktop. So yes, it multi-tasks well. But you will not be rendering Adobe Premier Pro projects through Media Encoder while editing audio in Audition and creating movie posters in Photoshop at the same time on this little guy. Not at any kind of reasonable speed.
But office type work? Surfing the web? Playing Minecraft? Sure. I am sure this baby can play a mean game of solitaire.
All in all, this one hit all the buttons I needed pushed right now. USB 3, 128 gigs of storage, 8 gigs of ram. For a small, specialized application like mine, this is perfect. Even using Remote Desktop, it is responsive – even over 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi. (because 2.4 reaches farther than 5.0 since you know you were wondering why). Worth the price of admission – especially when there was a $30 coupon at checkout.

The 128GB SSD is much better than EMMC storage used on cheaper mini PCs and the B2 definitely shows the speed.
It has 2 HDMI outputs on the back so you can use it with a dual monitor setup.
While it does have a cooling fan, it’s practically silent. You can only hear it up close.
This PC is good for general use, web browsing, office work (working from home), watching movies!
I did download LibreOffice and it does really well with all formats of office use.
Photo editing in GIMP is also good on this.
It was really easy to setup and on windows 10 Pro the speed is good thanks to the SSD.
I wish that it had support for 4k displays at 60hz. The HDMI ports on the back work perfectly with 1080p. in 2160p (4k) it is limited to 30hz which is fine for watching movies but not good for navigating through the OS.
Its a great size, very small. 4 USB ports all of which work well (web cameras need to go into the blue USB ports to be supported)
Dual screen works great (its worth noting it does not support Display Port to HDMI connections but does support DVI-D to HDMI) and the other port is a good old fashioned VGA.
Once the updates are all done it boots up very quickly, runs silent.
Only one very little thing, it doesn’t have any form of speaker in it, but there is a head phone jack so I’ve plugged in a micro pop speaker which draws power from one of the rear basic USB so not a major problem.
You will need a USB Keyboard and mouse as there are no PS2 sockets, I use a combined keyboard mouse so only use one USB port for both which works fine.
Overall, for the money its excellent, don’t get me wrong you wont be streaming 4k on it but for any form of office work or youtube its perfect.
The M2 SSD instillation instructions are incomplete. The drive I bought was not recognised after install. If this happens Google should get you general instructions (not BMAX specific) about installing drives and how to activate it through Windows Device Manager where needed.
This box seems more powerful than a low end netbooksbought last year, that one was so bad I installed another operating system on it.
At 4k resolution the screen doesn’t properly align, the far left of the display is missing. But works perfectly at 3k and from 6 feet away I can’t tell the difference so I’m not going to mark down for that; it may be the way my TV is synching rather that this unit’s fault.
Very happy – great value. I’m a user of other OS in the main, but need a Windows box for some homework is items e.g. visual studio. At this it really fits the bill perfectly.
I bought two of the BMAX B2 PLUS to set up as at home school workstations. They have worked out great and are plenty of computer for everything my kids need to do: zoom, google docs, and many other web based curriculum and assessments for school. We added a usb camera and headset and attached the PCs to the back of a monitor making for a fairly compact and functional computer. I like that they came with Windows 10 Professional. I considered expanding the disk space with an additional drive, but with mostly everything being web based, it’s not really necessary. I would recommend the B2 Plus for an at home workstation if you are not doing anything that demands a lot of processing power.
I gave four stars because I did have to reinstall windows on one of the mini PCs because it did not seem to be properly installed at the factory. It has been working great since. I also had to manually install the wireless network adapter driver and the display adapter driver to get things running smoothly.
As of Sep 2020, there are still very few mini PCs offering the latest standards. The Intel Celeron J4115 released in Q4 2019 is still the best processor in this price range. You don’t need to try figuring out all the Celeron designations. This is the latest.
What really sets BMAX apart from all their competitors is the option to upgrade to an M.2 NVMe SSD. If you’re planning to upgrade with more capacity, look no further, this is the one to buy. Note: It comes pre-installed with a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD (not NVMe).
Once again, you may be confused by all the SSD acronyms. To simplify, if you see the word NVMe, buy it. It’s the fastest amongst all SSD options. As of Sep 2020, there are very few mini PCs supporting NVMe, even amongst those costing hundreds more. And just in case, you should avoid eMMC type storage at all costs, they’re abysmally slow for 2020.
So it comes as no surprise that the motherboard also checks all other boxes, including BT 5.0, DDR4 memory. The only puzzling aspect is the 2x USB 2.0 ports, which is very weird to see in 2020. But just use it to for your keyboard & mouse or USB headset.
Overall, as of Sep 2020, this product pretty much checks all the boxes. You may find others with the Intel Celeron J4115 or J4125 processor, but when you dig further you’ll see the motherboard doesn’t support M.2 NVMe SSD or BT5.0.
Lastly, I went ahead and upgraded to a budget friendly WD Blue 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD (it’s the same price as a 1TB SATA SSD so why not go for the extra speed)….and the fact that you can insert it into a separate slot makes cloning much easier (no need to spend money buying a USB adapter just for cloning). It took all of….2 mins to clone the drive or less than 5 mins from start to finish (to go through the menu options).
In summary the overall value of this setup is just incredible. And it’s just too funny that with the NVMe upgrade, this budget mini PC has a drive that’s faster than most laptop and desktop offerings today (since most come with SATA SSD).
They have 1 major issue. Whatever Windows configuration they are installing is broken. Multiple apps I use regularly crashed without opening or experienced some odd glitchy behavior. Their windows key is installed to the motherboard. Wipe and install your OS of choice, even if its windows, it will work 1000 times better than their installation.
If you are planning to use this as a Linux box, Ubuntu’s install has a bad nic driver for this device. You will get your max upload speed, and about 30 down, no matter what your speed is. I recommend fedora as it did not experience this issue. I only needed the upload speed for my ubuntu box that currently hosts one of my servers that only requires read for the most part.
Basically no matter what advice I can give, wipe and reinstall whatever OS you want. The built in slimmed down windows they have on here broke some things you’ll want at some point. Its not a big issue due to it being quickly fixable so I only took off a star. The boxes are awesome in every other way.
If you reinstall windows home you will notice RDP no longer works (home does not have RDP you need to install the correct version of windows, modify windows to allow for RDP, or just install a vnc client as I did)
This is the perfect little device.
The only part I would like to see changed is the lack of all the USB ports being 3.0
I did get the SATA cable that they make, but I am having a tough time getting a hard drive in the 2.5 size that is larger then 1TB.
I thought I found one that would work 5TB but it has a USB header.
She loves old westerns and has grand kids that make sure they are rendered unplayable in a few short visits. And not having internet in her location, it’s mainly DVD and OTA TV.
I was able to watch a movie 1080P with no buffer and no noise.
So if you are looking to do the same thing, I recommend this.
If it’s for yourself, definitely get a SSD that is large enough to store what you need it to.
Update 10/5/2020
I was able to get the 15mm HDD to fit in the case.
I looked at how long the screws were and then bought about adding a spacer to them much like a monitor female to male spacer. But I was unable to find the correct dice for the screw and case mounting.
However I was able to fit the 15mm drive by placing a rubber spacer I found at my local Ace, $.27 for each one.
After installing the rubber gaskets, it gave it enough space to hold the drive stay sami closed.
I did run into the PC doesn’t have enough power to format a 4TB drive, so I had to install it in my full desktop to format it.
So if your looking to install a larger drive such as this, format the drive and then install it.

Now my unit came with Windows 10 Pro (I do not know why) and I really do not use bitlocker.
I have 1 user account (me) as administrator. I wanted to change the Windows lockscreen configuration and I could not with Windows stating “Some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization). This nettop was setup by me as a home computer (no business). I was very concerned that either this computer was received used or there is a hidden account SECURITY COMPROMISED).
So instead of using a flash drive with a very old Windows 10 version to do a fresh install, Windows let me reset the device with a fresh install from the cloud) No I no longer have that warning that there is a hidden or organization account. Yes i am going to have to go through 2 days worth of installing and setting my programs but it is worth it to maintain security.
If you buy it, I suggest you do a minimal setup, get internet connection, download a few W10 updates so your computer is registered with Windows and last do a full reset with Windows cloud download recovery.
