Blackview A70. This product, Blackview A70 is well worth the price, especially when you consider other well known brands are well out of my budget. Blackview could do with advertising themselves, as not alot of people know about this brand. I went to my phone shop, to get my Sim Card changed over, yes, I’m not tec minded!!, and the gentleman who did it, had never heard of Blackview phones, in fact, no-one has heard of them. I have had them before, and have never found a phone good enough to match them. This phone is great, good reception as well as everything you expect from a phone.
A pretty niche phone and right for the price What keeps you in awe about this phone is the user interface which makes the phone very easy to use and remarkable for its Android OS.
The battery life is criminal as it could last days on moderate use for 3~5 days giving you peace of mind were you to forget the charger. The only downside to the phone though is the audio sound as I will give it 3/5 for playing music. That said, this does impact a lot on watching videos (which are crystal clear) or enjoying music but a better sound system would be a great advantage. For its price, it is a steal and I will recommend it to anyone who wants a smartphone that can yet stand out amongst many.
Battery I ordered this phone in september, wasnt for heavy use just for work purposes and its been 7 months and the battery will not charge, following all the recomended steps on the blackview site and no improvment, it will say its charging and lose charge or take 8+ hours and gain 2% battery. Edit: Anne from black view has been great in helping me resolve this issue with prompt and courteous service. She has given me advice on how to fix the problen but sadly it seems to just be a badluck part. I changed my review score because yes the item was not perfect but the service i received in regards to it was quick helpful and understanding. I can not fault the after care team at all and did everything possible to help make sure my problem was addressed and rectified as quickly as possible.

My main reason for getting this phone was to update to Android 11. Yet I was really impressed with the array of features hardware & software too. The phone was easy to setup & to transfer my data & sim card. Custom Support was also available online.
It has a massive battery 5380mAh which keeps it ready for use, and a lot of space and power.
I put a 16GB card into this phone just because I had one to hand.
This phone more than meets my requirements and I saved a great deal of money with it.
Didn't operate as advertisedo Wanted to use as a home phone/mobile hotspot but couldn’t access the internet over hotspot with other devices. The old phone that it was supposed to replace worked fine and a subsequent purchase works fine. Have since been comtacted by blackview and they are issuing a replacement handse

6 months in new phone required UPDATE EDIT: The company have been in touch with me after reading my review and have taken great action to resolve the situation and make me a happy customer once again. I have to re-iterate, I really did love the phone up until I had the problem with it.
I bought this phone in May ’21 and although it has been great up until now, the display has been strobing and breaking up for a few days. Moving to a new phone has to happen every now and then, and is always a pain, but to need to buy a new phone again and experience the frustration of having to make sure everything has ported properly just six months after I bought this one is unreasonable. Gutted.

Started off ok... but not quite right! Started off very well, but after a few days my quick books app failed to record the trips in car. Checked all settings, nothing wrong at all. Made do with this as I thought it just android 11 problem. After few weeks noticed phone didn’t ring like usual and calls going voicemail. Then just before returning the sound on ringing stopped working. Have now bought a Samsung galaxy a22 and after a week everything is working fine. May have just been a faulty phone, which happens, but get the feeling something wasn’t quite right with the android 11 install….. didn’t want to return it but i use it for business and just didn’t work for me.
Outstanding value for money I bought this product to replace an aging Microsoft/Nokia dual sim windows phone. I was a bit hesitant to move across to android but have found this phone with one of the latest Android configurations easy to make the change to. Probably one of the things I was most impressed with was sellers after sale service which they carried out both efficiently and satisfactorily. I have no hesitation in recommending both the phone and its seller in all regards and am likely to buy another higher spec phone from this supplier when I’m ready for it.

Excellent aftersales! This handset is a budget buy, which was what we needed owing to my wife’s previous phone no longer charging. We ran into a few issues, but have been very well supported by the aftersales team indeed. They were proactive and supportive – a rarity in customer service these days!
The A70 holds charge well and has a very attractive colour to the rear of the phone (she opted for the blue shade).
Ok for money Had a issue with the speaker u could not hear anymore on the phone but Googled the problem and it seems to be common fault but managed to get it sort myself
Can't Really Run Heavy Apps/Phone Calls Lag/Random Restarting/Overall performance bad/dece After having the phone for over a week now ive started to see faults in performance with the phone. it cant really run heavy apps and when trying to make calls it ends the calls automatically sometime as well it would lag when trying to answer the phone also while on the phone and talking it can occasionally freeze and restart but the battery percentage would be fine once reset on it own randomly which is a bit confusing toward why it has happen. camera quality is not the best front way but back way its good also when downloading apps ive noticed the phone would delete apps on its own randomly which is confusing as well but overall perfomance i could say is a 6.5 but could be better but since this a budget phone its understandable
Data doesn't work when there's no Wifi signal I loved this Phone, everything about it. The feel, the size of the Screen, the Battery life, the sound, everything, until I went out a couple of days after I received it. To my utter surprise I couldn’t receive or send any kind of messages when there was no Wifi signal even though I had Data turned on. I even contacted my Phone Provider to check if there was any problem. There wasn’t but they sent me a new SIM Card anyway to try & see if that could solve my problem…..it didn’t. So, there was no point in having a Phone that I couldn’t use when out & I was forced to return it.
It's different, its a new way of working so don't expeact it to be the same as your last phone. I found the android 11 to be different from all the others. It’s not difficult to work but as I said it just seems different, but give it a few days and you will start to work your way around it. I am still trying to work out the phone and the different settings. The battery takes a bit longer to charge up but then again It lasts longer, I would say 3 days. I am comparing it to my last phone which had the same sort of battery and lasted 2days. At first, I thought my old phone of 10 months was better, now I would say it is definitely this one.
Random reboots. Nice for the price when it is working. Unfortunately it randomly reboots and the screen flashes on and off as it struggles to start up again.
No idea if it is a specific problem with this phone, but I also have issues with apps not receiving notifications until they are started, and then they all flood in.

The reason behind this is because, although I maintain my original points for the phone (as described below), the company have since been in touch with me to offer a refund or a replacement in order to solve the problem I have faced. I have really appreciated this offer and so have to commend them on having very good customer service. The communication between us has been easy so far and they have been willing to accommodate me in order to provide a hassle-free refund. This goes to show that as an up-and-coming brand, they are willing to put in the effort in order to reach the same level as any of the other big named brands out there. And so I am willing to support them in doing this.

Really liked the look, price and reviews on this phone.
However I have only had this phone for 10 days and, although initially happy with this budget phone, I have already found a major flaw in the battery life. Up until now the battery would charge in a reasonable time, as expected. As of day 10 of ownership I have had my phone on charge for 8+ hours for the battery to have charged a measly 30% to get me to 50% battery, so I dread to think how long it will now take to fully charge!
Although the phone seems like a reasonable alternative to other brands out there, my advice is to not bother with this phone. I regret buying it after such a short period of having it!
Absolutely Unusable (full refund received) Edit: I was contacted by the support team for Blackview and they are sending me a full refund, they were very quick and helpful which is why I changed the rating of my review as they saw that I had some serious problems and therefore gave me the option to get my money back which was greatly appreciated.
I got this phone because I needed something to do the absolute bare minimum, this phone cannot do that at all. 80% of apps won’t download, the front camera may as well not exist because of how genuinely diabolical it is, you cant even see your face in the front camera at all and the back camera isn’t much better. It’s extremely slow, if you somehow manage to actually download an app then chances are it won’t work properly and won’t have the features it should, I can’t even save images from most social media apps when I know other people with the same Android OS can do so. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! If you want something cheap because you need it to do the bare minimum, this phone can’t do that. The only good thing about this phone is the battery life, but that’s no use if you can’t do anything with the phone in the first place.
Very good and solid with a large scree I find this smartphone to be a great quality and easy to use phone that looks really good with the expensive finish. I personally find it great to use as a tablet, when commuting for example, but a bit too bulky just to put in the pocket to go shopping or gym. Battery lasts for a long time and it charges quickly. Colour is great-it has deep reflective shimmer and I can see absolutely everyone liking it as it looks expensive. There is a useful soft resistant back to prevent any possible damage, and I recommend this phone to anyone who streams a lot on their phone.

Battery life is excellent never charge is in the day and will stay charged for over 1 and a halve days.
Camera is shockingly bad for a 13mp and sound quality isn’t that good either.

Good battery life I bought this as a replacement for an old S8. The battery lasts longer on this and it uses a standard charger cable (same as a Kindle) so I have always got spare cables available.

Surprisingly good Bought this as a short term replacement for my wife after she broke the screen on her last phone. She absolutely loves it. Great battery life and actually a good rich sound for when she’s listening to audio books. She’s not into gaming so this phone dose everything she needs it to and has talked me out of buying her something more expensive. Recommend

Their email was very polite and friendly, so thank you for that. Hopefully they will work on the issues I stated or just supply a working manual with the phone, so buyers can get the best out of it, because when its working its good.

Not impressed at all with this phone. It looks impressive but doesn’t do even simple things like put it into silent mode. I have to use Airplane mode when I’m working, but that means nothing comes through. Also I pay for internet allowance through my sim only contract but it doesn’t have a mobile internet button, so I can only use the internet on it at home or in a free wifi area!!! There are no instructions with this phone at all, which shouldn’t be a problem as most android phones are the same, but even my san disk wont show up on it so can’t free up space. In the settings it shows that its linked to Huawei phones so it should have all what I am saying above, as my last phone was Huawei, just the storage space was crap and wouldn’t let me update it after 4 years of having it. Not Impressed at All
Great performance! Fantastic battery life i ve found at least 2 days of heavy use. Apps run very smoothly and I have a lot of apps! Comes with screen protector and gel case…saves another 15 quid! Had it for over a month and honestly works better than my iPhone se. Only slight grumble would be is that you have to work the camera a bit or your pics might be less than sharp at times..so spend time learning all the camera features to get the most from it. Yes i m presently delighted with this phone and would highly recommend….save your self hundreds on a contract phone….this phone does all what it says on the packet. Get yourself one and save hundreds of pounds fantastic big screen and cracking display again a lot better than my iPhone se….get one!
All is forgiven. Further to my comments on being unable to get the back off my A70 I decided to have one last go. I had fitted the plastic cover back on with a mind to put it in a draw and forget about it. However when i took the plastic cover off again it seems to have loosened the back cover and i was able to get it off without too much trouble.

eliability and easy to use I purchased this phone as it looked ( read reviews) to be just what I wanted, having had for one year another chinese phone that discharged all the time. It had been very annoying.
This one does not run out of battery quickly, and I am finding it pleasent to take good photos, and send on to my contacts. I transferred my sim card and all the data with it. So far I am delighted!
Prefect mobile phone. This has been the perfect present for my daughter, and a good price at the last minute deals… Her last phone got a cracked screen, black blob melting the screen getting impossible to use. Going back to the old days to open the back of the phone to put sim card and memory card in… Daughter loves it in red.. Excellent customer service Lovely phone, easy to set up and transfer all apps and files from my old phone, unfortunately the phone would not connect to my network 4g on virgin, but was fine on WiFi, so I had to return it and had a full no quibble refund, customer service got in touch to advise changing settings for the 4g but I’d already sent the phone back
Great value smart phone This phone is excellent value for money. The large screen makes viewing videos easy. The battery charge last for ages and it comes with a protector for the back of the phone. It has all the things that far more expensive smart phones have and I have found it really easy to set up and use( and as my sons would tell you, I am not usually great with technology!) Would highly recommend.
Slightly disappointed I thought I’d get this phone to replace my old Samsung. Everything transferred ok and I was mpressed. Had a problem charging the phone. After 24 hours on charge it’s only at 45 percent. Customer Services were brilliant and arranged an exchange straight away. On the whole this is an excellent phone for the price and I will definitely consider another Blackview when I upgrade again.

I was hesitant because i kept seeing answers stating it doesn’t work with Contract Sim cards, as well as people complaining about the phone not registering the Sim. I had no problems at all. I simply took my old O2 Sim from my Huawei and put it in this phone. I turned it on and it worked perfectly. 4G is fantastic as well as call quality

Battery lasts for a good day when out ..so much better than my old phone for sure ..but not as long when u like to chat via google duo live on video as this takes up much power from the phone ..Pic quality is very good ..sound of persons voice on other side is much clearer in this phone and is very good ..
All in all a good phone.. but i still have to try get used to such ..One thing i dont like is on my phones icon this at the bottom left phone icon it has a red dot in the top right hand corner of the squares icon.. why is this ? as ive checked and cant get rid of this red dot ? But as said im sorty a newbie on up to date mobile phones … as normally use laptop ..but liking the phone and shall get used to it ..

Affordable Android smartphone First off I have to confess that I’m an Apple kinda girl but I needed an android smartphone for work and did not want to spend silly money on one as it was not intended to be my main phone.
I came across the Blackview A70 and after reading the spec and reviews decided that it was perfectly adequate for my needs and at around 100 was an acceptable price to pay. It took me a while to find my way around the Android OS and it is hard not to compare it with Apple (I used to use Android years ago but fell out of love with it which is why I moved to Apple) but I’m getting there with it.
The A70 is a good sized phone and makes my IPhone XS look small when placed next to it. It has an acceptable weight, both fitting and feeling substantial in your hand. The display is clear and pretty much fills the whole of the screen area.
The phone came with a pre installed screen cover and clear TPU case which was an added bonus as I wasn’t sure how easy these would be to obtain.
The phone can be unlocked by a pin, Face ID or fingerprint. I find the Face ID is a bit hit and miss but the fingerprint and pin options work fine for me.
I have expanded the memory with a micro SD card and have a GiffGaff PAYG SIM card installed. It took me a bit of head scratching to get the phone to recognise both of these items and in the end I did the ‘turn it off and on again’ troubleshooting method and this did the trick. I did have to format the memory card but again muddled my way through and it works ok.
The camera, whilst maybe not top of the range, is perfectly suitable for most people’s needs and takes decent enough photos. One thing I don’t like is that when editing a photo I have to save it as a copy which obviously takes up more memory. This might be an Android thing but I much prefer Apple’s saving the edited photo with a ‘revert to original’ option.
Normal phone functions (texts, calls etc) are pretty standard and I’ve had no issues there.
Battery life started off impressively with a 2-3 day standby/usage time but this has reduced to 1-2 days depending on how much usage and what I’m using it for. But yes, it does have a better battery life than my iPhone.
All in all I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend the A70 to anyone looking for an affordable smartphone.

It is a very easy phone to use and it as value for money The product is very good . I am not a gardent person. All of my phone’s were for to call ,text, receive it is an amazing phone ,if you are looking for phone but don’t want to spend that much money then it’s a good phone . Two years ago I started using there product the old blackview phone and my 1 year old daughter kept dropping and banging it around but it still works till this day , that’s why I go for this phone. I’m the type of person that looks and makes sure everything is perfect. I rate this five stars

Simply unbelievable! I was expecting the worst scenario with this phone…. After all, it was only 110. Now, after using it for 24 hours, I am genuinely shocked at how good it is. My previous phone was a Galaxy Edge and this Blackview A70 is streets ahead of it. My son has a very expensive iPhone but actually prefers this! Better battery life, camera, design, in fact everything is better. Don’t be fooled by how cheap it is.

I reluctantly bought a new phone as mine was dying. My only problem with it was I hadn’t synched my contacts to google on my previous phone, so I had to manually re-add everyone, which was a nuisance, but also a good excuse for a Contacts clear-out. All my apps came over automatically.
It took me a few days to find some of the features I’m used to, but that’s because I had my last phone since 2013, so I am a bit stuck in my olden ways! But now I can do everything I could on my previous phone, and a lot faster. The battery lasts ages, I’m currently on day 3 since its last charge, and it’s still got more than 50 per cent – I don’t tend to use data much though.
The camera isn’t as good as the one on my last phone, but it’s not bad (probably no-one but me will notice), and the selfie camera is way more flattering than my previous phone. To get similar to my previous phone would have meant paying more than double the price or taking out a contract, which it really isn’t worth me doing, so the camera is a compromise I’m willing to make.
Better than I could reasonably have hoped for......... The phone is quite simply excellent and has greatly exceeded my expectations for what a phone of this price would offer, value for money it certainly is. Had it for about 6 hours and I am blown away by its ease of use (Android 11) and its performance, compared to my old Galaxy S5 Neo, it is super responsive and handles all my apps with ease.

If Aldi sold phones this would be it. Great phone great value My Blackbiew A70 arrived. Much improved on my previous A60. It has large screen which means I don’t need my glasses to use it. I emailed Blackview regarding accessories and they have been excellent in getting back to me. 3 months on the phone performs brilliantly with exceptional battery life. happy my birthday present I got for my self Phone not accepting the sum cards as u can see pict above now piss right off using my mobile data hotspot download everything on this a70 now it working with sim card init had do reset on phone came up responding with network still gett use to it load app alot storage space quick uploading but slow on Bluetooth uploading photo videos I rate this a70. 2.5 now because this mobile hotspot does connect to. Ur Xbox pc ect ect but does give u internet online got some pict but my old phone give me internet and connected fine mmm first pict is a70…send pict is huawai connected fine with the same sim card in both phones
Easy to use And large scree I got this for my daughter as a starter phone and it actually seems even better than mine! The screen is large at 6.1 inches and yet the phone is easy to hold.
The processor is fast and videos download almost instantly. There can be a code set to enter the phone so all info on it is safe and secure. It is android so bad all the usual apps available. I do really like how I can download a tracker app to make sure that my daughter is safe.
The phone comes with a nice clear silicon cover and the screen protectors are cheap and easy to find o line. The phone is easy to use and the menu is clear.
The range of volume controls including ringtones and message alerts is vast and my daughter had great fun selecting exactly the one she wanted. The phone looks great. The back is a bright patterned blue so looks lovely.
Really nice smartphone Ok so I purchased this phone for a family friend who wanted a new budget smartphone that would do everything they wanted it too.
This Blackview smartphone seemed to be the right choice so I went ahead and ordered it for him. The phone arrived quickly thanks to my amazon prime membership.
Set up of the phone was really really easy. The phone offers a nice fast chipe with a good 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with the added bonus of being able to add a micro SD card up to 128 GB. Overall the phone is quick and responsive with the screen being a nice 6.5″ which is bright and offers a nice crisp viewing experience.
This phone works fine on all UK networks and offers a fast 4G speeds. The phone is a nice size and feels good in the hand and the included case offers a good level of grip and protection. The back of the phone is removeable so you can access the SIM and SD card slots.
Battery life is again very good and it will easily last all day.
The camera system although not groundbreaking does offer up some great looking pictures and video and for this price range it’s as you would expect.
All the normal everyday app like YouTube, Google Play, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok all work absolutely fine with no issues at all.
My overall experience with this phone has been a posotive one and for that reason I am going to give it 5 stars.
13pm camera. Got this sim free camera after dropping my old phone, repair cost was coming up more than half of new phone so got this one. It pulled my attention as was advertised as dual sim, triple camera and sim free.
Mobile equipped with triple camera and takes quite impressive quality pictures.
Phone itself slime and has finger print security unlock button on back. It can be transferred to face recognition function as well. I left mine on face recognition due to I do heavy duty jobs and finger print can be bit challenging for my personal circumstances.
For its price it’s quite good quality and quite fast. So far quite happy with performance.

Blackview A70.
This product, Blackview A70 is well worth the price, especially when you consider other well known brands are well out of my budget. Blackview could do with advertising themselves, as not alot of people know about this brand. I went to my phone shop, to get my Sim Card changed over, yes, I’m not tec minded!!, and the gentleman who did it, had never heard of Blackview phones, in fact, no-one has heard of them. I have had them before, and have never found a phone good enough to match them. This phone is great, good reception as well as everything you expect from a phone.

A pretty niche phone and right for the price
What keeps you in awe about this phone is the user interface which makes the phone very easy to use and remarkable for its Android OS.
The battery life is criminal as it could last days on moderate use for 3~5 days giving you peace of mind were you to forget the charger. The only downside to the phone though is the audio sound as I will give it 3/5 for playing music. That said, this does impact a lot on watching videos (which are crystal clear) or enjoying music but a better sound system would be a great advantage. For its price, it is a steal and I will recommend it to anyone who wants a smartphone that can yet stand out amongst many.
Battery
I ordered this phone in september, wasnt for heavy use just for work purposes and its been 7 months and the battery will not charge, following all the recomended steps on the blackview site and no improvment, it will say its charging and lose charge or take 8+ hours and gain 2% battery. Edit: Anne from black view has been great in helping me resolve this issue with prompt and courteous service. She has given me advice on how to fix the problen but sadly it seems to just be a badluck part. I changed my review score because yes the item was not perfect but the service i received in regards to it was quick helpful and understanding. I can not fault the after care team at all and did everything possible to help make sure my problem was addressed and rectified as quickly as possible.

My main reason for getting this phone was to update to Android 11. Yet I was really impressed with the array of features hardware & software too. The phone was easy to setup & to transfer my data & sim card. Custom Support was also available online.
It has a massive battery 5380mAh which keeps it ready for use, and a lot of space and power.
I put a 16GB card into this phone just because I had one to hand.
This phone more than meets my requirements and I saved a great deal of money with it.
Didn't operate as advertisedo
Wanted to use as a home phone/mobile hotspot but couldn’t access the internet over hotspot with other devices. The old phone that it was supposed to replace worked fine and a subsequent purchase works fine. Have since been comtacted by blackview and they are issuing a replacement handse

UPDATE EDIT: The company have been in touch with me after reading my review and have taken great action to resolve the situation and make me a happy customer once again. I have to re-iterate, I really did love the phone up until I had the problem with it.
I bought this phone in May ’21 and although it has been great up until now, the display has been strobing and breaking up for a few days. Moving to a new phone has to happen every now and then, and is always a pain, but to need to buy a new phone again and experience the frustration of having to make sure everything has ported properly just six months after I bought this one is unreasonable. Gutted.

Started off ok... but not quite right!
Started off very well, but after a few days my quick books app failed to record the trips in car. Checked all settings, nothing wrong at all. Made do with this as I thought it just android 11 problem. After few weeks noticed phone didn’t ring like usual and calls going voicemail. Then just before returning the sound on ringing stopped working. Have now bought a Samsung galaxy a22 and after a week everything is working fine. May have just been a faulty phone, which happens, but get the feeling something wasn’t quite right with the android 11 install….. didn’t want to return it but i use it for business and just didn’t work for me.
Outstanding value for money
I bought this product to replace an aging Microsoft/Nokia dual sim windows phone. I was a bit hesitant to move across to android but have found this phone with one of the latest Android configurations easy to make the change to. Probably one of the things I was most impressed with was sellers after sale service which they carried out both efficiently and satisfactorily. I have no hesitation in recommending both the phone and its seller in all regards and am likely to buy another higher spec phone from this supplier when I’m ready for it.
excellent phone for the money, a good size battery
Great size phone that has a large capacity battery, but doesn’t make the phone too fat. Good customer back up incase of queries and questions. Nice faded blue colour looks a bit different.
Not bad for a cheap phone
So first the bad . 1 why is it using the same name as Samsung when it’s not . 2. Found the Internet seemed not as good as the Samsung this was replacing.

Excellent aftersales!
This handset is a budget buy, which was what we needed owing to my wife’s previous phone no longer charging. We ran into a few issues, but have been very well supported by the aftersales team indeed. They were proactive and supportive – a rarity in customer service these days!
The A70 holds charge well and has a very attractive colour to the rear of the phone (she opted for the blue shade).

Had a issue with the speaker u could not hear anymore on the phone but Googled the problem and it seems to be common fault but managed to get it sort myself
Can't Really Run Heavy Apps/Phone Calls Lag/Random Restarting/Overall performance bad/dece
After having the phone for over a week now ive started to see faults in performance with the phone. it cant really run heavy apps and when trying to make calls it ends the calls automatically sometime as well it would lag when trying to answer the phone also while on the phone and talking it can occasionally freeze and restart but the battery percentage would be fine once reset on it own randomly which is a bit confusing toward why it has happen. camera quality is not the best front way but back way its good also when downloading apps ive noticed the phone would delete apps on its own randomly which is confusing as well but overall perfomance i could say is a 6.5 but could be better but since this a budget phone its understandable
I loved this Phone, everything about it. The feel, the size of the Screen, the Battery life, the sound, everything, until I went out a couple of days after I received it. To my utter surprise I couldn’t receive or send any kind of messages when there was no Wifi signal even though I had Data turned on. I even contacted my Phone Provider to check if there was any problem. There wasn’t but they sent me a new SIM Card anyway to try & see if that could solve my problem…..it didn’t. So, there was no point in having a Phone that I couldn’t use when out & I was forced to return it.
It's different, its a new way of working so don't expeact it to be the same as your last phone.
I found the android 11 to be different from all the others. It’s not difficult to work but as I said it just seems different, but give it a few days and you will start to work your way around it. I am still trying to work out the phone and the different settings. The battery takes a bit longer to charge up but then again It lasts longer, I would say 3 days. I am comparing it to my last phone which had the same sort of battery and lasted 2days. At first, I thought my old phone of 10 months was better, now I would say it is definitely this one.
Random reboots.
Nice for the price when it is working. Unfortunately it randomly reboots and the screen flashes on and off as it struggles to start up again.
No idea if it is a specific problem with this phone, but I also have issues with apps not receiving notifications until they are started, and then they all flood in.

The reason behind this is because, although I maintain my original points for the phone (as described below), the company have since been in touch with me to offer a refund or a replacement in order to solve the problem I have faced. I have really appreciated this offer and so have to commend them on having very good customer service. The communication between us has been easy so far and they have been willing to accommodate me in order to provide a hassle-free refund. This goes to show that as an up-and-coming brand, they are willing to put in the effort in order to reach the same level as any of the other big named brands out there. And so I am willing to support them in doing this.

Really liked the look, price and reviews on this phone.
However I have only had this phone for 10 days and, although initially happy with this budget phone, I have already found a major flaw in the battery life. Up until now the battery would charge in a reasonable time, as expected. As of day 10 of ownership I have had my phone on charge for 8+ hours for the battery to have charged a measly 30% to get me to 50% battery, so I dread to think how long it will now take to fully charge!
Although the phone seems like a reasonable alternative to other brands out there, my advice is to not bother with this phone. I regret buying it after such a short period of having it!

Edit: I was contacted by the support team for Blackview and they are sending me a full refund, they were very quick and helpful which is why I changed the rating of my review as they saw that I had some serious problems and therefore gave me the option to get my money back which was greatly appreciated.
I got this phone because I needed something to do the absolute bare minimum, this phone cannot do that at all. 80% of apps won’t download, the front camera may as well not exist because of how genuinely diabolical it is, you cant even see your face in the front camera at all and the back camera isn’t much better. It’s extremely slow, if you somehow manage to actually download an app then chances are it won’t work properly and won’t have the features it should, I can’t even save images from most social media apps when I know other people with the same Android OS can do so. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! If you want something cheap because you need it to do the bare minimum, this phone can’t do that. The only good thing about this phone is the battery life, but that’s no use if you can’t do anything with the phone in the first place.
Very good and solid with a large scree
I find this smartphone to be a great quality and easy to use phone that looks really good with the expensive finish. I personally find it great to use as a tablet, when commuting for example, but a bit too bulky just to put in the pocket to go shopping or gym. Battery lasts for a long time and it charges quickly. Colour is great-it has deep reflective shimmer and I can see absolutely everyone liking it as it looks expensive. There is a useful soft resistant back to prevent any possible damage, and I recommend this phone to anyone who streams a lot on their phone.

Well it’s a 100 phone to be honest.
I don’t get on well with android but this is easy.
Battery life is excellent never charge is in the day and will stay charged for over 1 and a halve days.
Camera is shockingly bad for a 13mp and sound quality isn’t that good either.
But what to expect from a 100 phone.

Good battery life
I bought this as a replacement for an old S8. The battery lasts longer on this and it uses a standard charger cable (same as a Kindle) so I have always got spare cables available.

Surprisingly good
Bought this as a short term replacement for my wife after she broke the screen on her last phone. She absolutely loves it. Great battery life and actually a good rich sound for when she’s listening to audio books. She’s not into gaming so this phone dose everything she needs it to and has talked me out of buying her something more expensive. Recommend

Not impressed at all with this phone. It looks impressive but doesn’t do even simple things like put it into silent mode. I have to use Airplane mode when I’m working, but that means nothing comes through. Also I pay for internet allowance through my sim only contract but it doesn’t have a mobile internet button, so I can only use the internet on it at home or in a free wifi area!!! There are no instructions with this phone at all, which shouldn’t be a problem as most android phones are the same, but even my san disk wont show up on it so can’t free up space. In the settings it shows that its linked to Huawei phones so it should have all what I am saying above, as my last phone was Huawei, just the storage space was crap and wouldn’t let me update it after 4 years of having it. Not Impressed at All
Great performance!
Fantastic battery life i ve found at least 2 days of heavy use. Apps run very smoothly and I have a lot of apps! Comes with screen protector and gel case…saves another 15 quid! Had it for over a month and honestly works better than my iPhone se. Only slight grumble would be is that you have to work the camera a bit or your pics might be less than sharp at times..so spend time learning all the camera features to get the most from it. Yes i m presently delighted with this phone and would highly recommend….save your self hundreds on a contract phone….this phone does all what it says on the packet. Get yourself one and save hundreds of pounds fantastic big screen and cracking display again a lot better than my iPhone se….get one!

Further to my comments on being unable to get the back off my A70 I decided to have one last go. I had fitted the plastic cover back on with a mind to put it in a draw and forget about it. However when i took the plastic cover off again it seems to have loosened the back cover and i was able to get it off without too much trouble.

I purchased this phone as it looked ( read reviews) to be just what I wanted, having had for one year another chinese phone that discharged all the time. It had been very annoying.
This one does not run out of battery quickly, and I am finding it pleasent to take good photos, and send on to my contacts. I transferred my sim card and all the data with it. So far I am delighted!

Lovely phone, easy to set up and transfer all apps and files from my old phone, unfortunately the phone would not connect to my network 4g on virgin, but was fine on WiFi, so I had to return it and had a full no quibble refund, customer service got in touch to advise changing settings for the 4g but I’d already sent the phone back
This phone is excellent value for money. The large screen makes viewing videos easy. The battery charge last for ages and it comes with a protector for the back of the phone. It has all the things that far more expensive smart phones have and I have found it really easy to set up and use( and as my sons would tell you, I am not usually great with technology!) Would highly recommend.
Slightly disappointed
I thought I’d get this phone to replace my old Samsung. Everything transferred ok and I was mpressed. Had a problem charging the phone. After 24 hours on charge it’s only at 45 percent. Customer Services were brilliant and arranged an exchange straight away. On the whole this is an excellent phone for the price and I will definitely consider another Blackview when I upgrade again.

I was hesitant because i kept seeing answers stating it doesn’t work with Contract Sim cards, as well as people complaining about the phone not registering the Sim. I had no problems at all. I simply took my old O2 Sim from my Huawei and put it in this phone. I turned it on and it worked perfectly. 4G is fantastic as well as call quality

All in all a good phone.. but i still have to try get used to such ..One thing i dont like is on my phones icon this at the bottom left phone icon it has a red dot in the top right hand corner of the squares icon.. why is this ? as ive checked and cant get rid of this red dot ? But as said im sorty a newbie on up to date mobile phones … as normally use laptop ..but liking the phone and shall get used to it ..

First off I have to confess that I’m an Apple kinda girl but I needed an android smartphone for work and did not want to spend silly money on one as it was not intended to be my main phone.
I came across the Blackview A70 and after reading the spec and reviews decided that it was perfectly adequate for my needs and at around 100 was an acceptable price to pay. It took me a while to find my way around the Android OS and it is hard not to compare it with Apple (I used to use Android years ago but fell out of love with it which is why I moved to Apple) but I’m getting there with it.
The A70 is a good sized phone and makes my IPhone XS look small when placed next to it. It has an acceptable weight, both fitting and feeling substantial in your hand. The display is clear and pretty much fills the whole of the screen area.
The phone came with a pre installed screen cover and clear TPU case which was an added bonus as I wasn’t sure how easy these would be to obtain.
The phone can be unlocked by a pin, Face ID or fingerprint. I find the Face ID is a bit hit and miss but the fingerprint and pin options work fine for me.
I have expanded the memory with a micro SD card and have a GiffGaff PAYG SIM card installed. It took me a bit of head scratching to get the phone to recognise both of these items and in the end I did the ‘turn it off and on again’ troubleshooting method and this did the trick. I did have to format the memory card but again muddled my way through and it works ok.
The camera, whilst maybe not top of the range, is perfectly suitable for most people’s needs and takes decent enough photos. One thing I don’t like is that when editing a photo I have to save it as a copy which obviously takes up more memory. This might be an Android thing but I much prefer Apple’s saving the edited photo with a ‘revert to original’ option.
Normal phone functions (texts, calls etc) are pretty standard and I’ve had no issues there.
Battery life started off impressively with a 2-3 day standby/usage time but this has reduced to 1-2 days depending on how much usage and what I’m using it for. But yes, it does have a better battery life than my iPhone.
All in all I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend the A70 to anyone looking for an affordable smartphone.

Simply unbelievable!
I was expecting the worst scenario with this phone…. After all, it was only 110. Now, after using it for 24 hours, I am genuinely shocked at how good it is. My previous phone was a Galaxy Edge and this Blackview A70 is streets ahead of it. My son has a very expensive iPhone but actually prefers this! Better battery life, camera, design, in fact everything is better. Don’t be fooled by how cheap it is.

I reluctantly bought a new phone as mine was dying. My only problem with it was I hadn’t synched my contacts to google on my previous phone, so I had to manually re-add everyone, which was a nuisance, but also a good excuse for a Contacts clear-out. All my apps came over automatically.
It took me a few days to find some of the features I’m used to, but that’s because I had my last phone since 2013, so I am a bit stuck in my olden ways! But now I can do everything I could on my previous phone, and a lot faster. The battery lasts ages, I’m currently on day 3 since its last charge, and it’s still got more than 50 per cent – I don’t tend to use data much though.
The camera isn’t as good as the one on my last phone, but it’s not bad (probably no-one but me will notice), and the selfie camera is way more flattering than my previous phone. To get similar to my previous phone would have meant paying more than double the price or taking out a contract, which it really isn’t worth me doing, so the camera is a compromise I’m willing to make.
Better than I could reasonably have hoped for.........
The phone is quite simply excellent and has greatly exceeded my expectations for what a phone of this price would offer, value for money it certainly is. Had it for about 6 hours and I am blown away by its ease of use (Android 11) and its performance, compared to my old Galaxy S5 Neo, it is super responsive and handles all my apps with ease.

Phone not accepting the sum cards as u can see pict above now piss right off using my mobile data hotspot download everything on this a70 now it working with sim card init had do reset on phone came up responding with network still gett use to it load app alot storage space quick uploading but slow on Bluetooth uploading photo videos I rate this a70. 2.5 now because this mobile hotspot does connect to. Ur Xbox pc ect ect but does give u internet online got some pict but my old phone give me internet and connected fine mmm first pict is a70…send pict is huawai connected fine with the same sim card in both phones

The processor is fast and videos download almost instantly. There can be a code set to enter the phone so all info on it is safe and secure. It is android so bad all the usual apps available. I do really like how I can download a tracker app to make sure that my daughter is safe.
The phone comes with a nice clear silicon cover and the screen protectors are cheap and easy to find o line. The phone is easy to use and the menu is clear.
The range of volume controls including ringtones and message alerts is vast and my daughter had great fun selecting exactly the one she wanted. The phone looks great. The back is a bright patterned blue so looks lovely.
Ok so I purchased this phone for a family friend who wanted a new budget smartphone that would do everything they wanted it too.
This Blackview smartphone seemed to be the right choice so I went ahead and ordered it for him. The phone arrived quickly thanks to my amazon prime membership.
Set up of the phone was really really easy. The phone offers a nice fast chipe with a good 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with the added bonus of being able to add a micro SD card up to 128 GB. Overall the phone is quick and responsive with the screen being a nice 6.5″ which is bright and offers a nice crisp viewing experience.
This phone works fine on all UK networks and offers a fast 4G speeds. The phone is a nice size and feels good in the hand and the included case offers a good level of grip and protection. The back of the phone is removeable so you can access the SIM and SD card slots.
Battery life is again very good and it will easily last all day.
The camera system although not groundbreaking does offer up some great looking pictures and video and for this price range it’s as you would expect.
All the normal everyday app like YouTube, Google Play, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok all work absolutely fine with no issues at all.
My overall experience with this phone has been a posotive one and for that reason I am going to give it 5 stars.
Got this sim free camera after dropping my old phone, repair cost was coming up more than half of new phone so got this one. It pulled my attention as was advertised as dual sim, triple camera and sim free.
Mobile equipped with triple camera and takes quite impressive quality pictures.
Phone itself slime and has finger print security unlock button on back. It can be transferred to face recognition function as well. I left mine on face recognition due to I do heavy duty jobs and finger print can be bit challenging for my personal circumstances.
For its price it’s quite good quality and quite fast. So far quite happy with performance.
