Only took 20 mins to put together, very easy to do. I covered over the screws with black tape to minimise rust effects (as some other reviews have said they seen develop), the bench is partly under cover, so I’ll keep it covered if rain does come down in the autumn/winter. Very comfortable to sit on and i added an old three seat cushion from robert dyas that fits great. I recommend for those who would like a cheap comfortable bench that’s easy to assemble.
There is no protective coating on this bench so unless you are willing to keep bringing it inside every time it rains don’t buy it
Or put hammertoe on it. The seller must know this as they describe it as sunny two seater bench. Sneaky eh?!
Have read in other reviews that putting this bench together is a two person job. I used a small garden stool to hold up one end, while I fixed the other. I used my own spanner, because the implement provided wasn’t up to the job. looks great now next to the lilac, under a climbing rose, with the high boundary wall behind it. Love the simple and elegant lines of this bench, love just sitting back and relaxing, listening to bird song….
Product well packaged, I was able to put most of it together on my own but needed help to assemble the back rest.I held this in place whilst my son put the screws in place. Looks great and quite comfortable.
Arrived very quickly, beautiful seat and so easy to put together.
Glad I bought cushions as part of the gift but we’ll made and pleasing to look at.
