I love to sleep with a weighted blanket. Not all weighted blankets are created equally. I have purchased a couple, I have one that the weight shifts to the other side. It’s awful. So far this one has been wonderful, the weight is evenly distributed and the blanket is not too hot. All the other members in my family keep stealing my blanket so I am ordering one for each bedroom. I am 130lbs and I bought the 30# blanket. It’s heavy, but for me it’s perfect. The first one I bought was 20lbs, my 60lb son stole that one from me.
Just what my sensory kid needed (age 12, about 110lbs) she sleeps so good since I got this! Should have gotten sooner.
I bought the king size blanket. I draped it on my sons bed (he’s 29). The next morning, he woke up, met me in the kitchen, gave me a big hug and said “Thank you very much”. That’s enough for me.
I am chronically ill, and I have never slept better before now. I love “weighted blanket season” (fall/winter; this blanket is too warm to use during the rest of the year), and so do my cats. They fight for who gets to sleep on the blanket. The cover is SO SOFT!! Genuinely, I’ve never loved a purchase so much before. But I should have bought two covers, so I can still use the blanket on laundry day.
Heard about weighted blankets and this brand was recommended. I dragged my feet but finally clicked purchase when I saw a discount. This blanket is so soft and so amazing. I would have gladly paid full price had I known how amazing it would be.
I like the weight, and make/quality of the blanket. The description says ‘Heating’ but it’s not electrically heated. Beyond that, I like the size, look and weight of the blanket. It feels like a heavy quilt, but thin. I tried weighted blankets out of curiosity and really like the feel. I bought the 20 lb version also.
I bought this on recommendation from a friend. I suffer with fibromyalgia and arthritis and my husband has arthritis too. Thought I would give it a try as our sleep is awful. First couple of night felt strange and heavy but after you are used to it you don’t notice the weight. It’s warm and snuggly and I’m so glad I purchased it. Only down side is you can’t get a spare cover from the retailer. The beads do move to edges and corners but I just give a shake like you would a duvet and they settle down again. I have recommended this to a couple of friends.
This was so soft that I bought two more. I now have one for each bedroom and one to use when watching tv.
Bought this for my girlfriend as she has a lot of issues sleeping. We were having a problem finding anything heavy enough for her until Amazon put this on my ads. This has been a life saver for her. She loves how heavy it is and how much it helps her sleep. It is big enough for the both of us to share in a queen size bed. I love that it has a cover that comes off so that it can be washed without having to try and stick a 25lb blanket in the wash. I also love that it’s not weighted with sand. The micro beads do not clump or get stuck together where as the sand we have had issues with it clumping and getting hard if the blanket gets wet.
It is a bit expensive but worth the price for those in need.

I did an enormous amount of research on weighted blankets and decided on this one due to the fact that it’s quilted, comes with the duvet and the blanket is sectioned off to keep beads from pooling. It’s worth every cent. I have 3 at my house and wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand if I needed a replacement.

This is a high quality, well made blanket. The plush cover unzips for washing and the inner blanket is good quality fabric and well stitched.

My son loves it so much that he refuses to give it up for a night so that mom can try it out to see if she’d like one. Has a removable duvet which is a bonus. Although this doesn’t apply to my son, I believe that kids on the spectrum would like this as, while some don’t like hugs, this blanket is like a “non intimate” hug and many on the spectrum appreciate this.
A really good quality product that has really had a positive effect on my ability to relax and calm down due to issues with CPTSD. The first few nights sleeping with it I woke up feeling a bit too heavily weighted down by the blanket but have gotten more used to it now. Where it really helps is when I am not sleeping and just lay under the blanket for relaxation and it allowed me to lay on the floor for a full hour without moving, fidgeting or becoming restless. Highly recomended.

CS Review: I originally bought the queen size for my queen bed to go on top of my bed comforter. It was a little too exact in size for what I wanted; I wanted it to hang over the edges of my bed so I wouldn’t have to readjust it if I accidentally shift it throughout the night. I called Amazon to see if I could exchange it for the king size (it was only allowing full returns at the time), and was put in contact with the company’s customer support. I explained that I loved the product, but I just wanted to pay the difference in exchange for the next size up. In the end, they told me to just keep the queen size weighted blanket that I purchased, then they sent me the king size one as well. They truly went above and beyond, and I’m very thankful!
Product Review: The blanket is extremely soft, and it’s weight is evenly distributed. One of my original concerns when I was looking for a weighted blanket was potential lumps and bulges from the material used to give the blanket it’s weight, but with this product I don’t have that issue at all! It comes with a cover so all you have to do is just unzip it and wash that when needed. I have two cats and it isn’t a magnet for pet hair and is quite resilient. The color I purchased is the same as pictured. I am very impressed with this product and would highly recommend giving it a try!!
I love this blanket so much, me and my girlfriend use it every night and it is especially nice on those colder days, and the weight is PERFECT for what we needed, and it helps very much with anxiety or if you are restless.
My only qualm with the blanket is if you are a restless sleeper or you need to clean the blanket, the weighted inner part might shift and make the weighted part of the blanket a little uneven, it is very easily fixable, but it must be said!
I bought 2 blankets-a queen size for myself and and twin for my daughter. After they arrived she told me she wouldn’t really use it. When I clicked on the return option on Amazon the info I was given that I would pay $10 to have UPS return it. When I looked at my Amazon credit I was only refunded $46-I PAID $80!!!! I reached out to the sellers and they never answered me. Do not buy from this seller unless you’re sure you will keep this blanket. (On a side note I love mine and am glad I Bought itjust wasn’t happy with the partial credit on the second one)
I agonized about ordering this for Christmas, but I’m so glad I did because, my daughter loves this blanket! It is the perfect size & weight for her, super soft, and helps with her hyper mobility and anxiety.
It is a queen-size. Meaning, it IS the size of the surface area of the bed. There is NOT supposed to be overhang with weighted blankets. (Order a bigger size if you want your blanket to fall off the bed & drag you with it. 😉

Bought this item, and had some minor issues. While it said it was for a queen bed, the sizing (80×60) made it JUST cover side to side with no hang over what so ever. As such, it was not a good fit for two people and one of us (yours truly) kept ending up coverless throughout the night lol. That said, it’s really my fault for not paying attention to the dimensions – which are clearly stated on the item variations – when I was choosing the size to order. In addition to the odd sizing issue, there was a slight quality control issue. I called the company and spoke with an amazing representative, but was cut off mid call due to my horrible cell service here in the boonies. That same rep called me back not once, but TWICE trying to follow up and left a very nice voicemail both times. I was finally able to call back and, thankfully, the original person I spoke with wrote very detailed notes pertaining to my issues so the next representative was able to pick up right where we had left off before the call dropped. They more than made up for all of my issues and concerns. They also followed up promptly via written form in an email as well and really took charge of everything. These blankets are amazing and the customer service I received was exemplary. I find it truly difficult to find such amazing service these days. Talk about a “customer centric company”. Move over Amazon… Quility has that market cornered for sure.

I love this blanket! It’s very comfortable, warm, and fuzzy. The weight of it is calming while I sleep, especially if I’m anxious or scared for the next day.
It’s also very warm! I don’t have heat in my room. I live in western Illinois, so winter can be brutal. Since getting this blanket, I’ve only needed to heat my corn pack up once even though it’s been below zero (plus the wind making it even colder out).
The only real con with this blanket is the weight distribution. The weighted part is actually inside the removable cover, so the weight can get thrown off until you open it up and adjust it. Pro – there are loops so you can tie the so it happens way less, but mine didn’t come tied so I had to open it up and tie it.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this blanket! The pros outweigh the one single con I have. I don’t have anxiety at night now (unless I feel guilty about something or my depression is acting up).
I was super skeptical of a weighted blanket for anxiety but put one on my Christmas list anyway because I didn’t want to spend the money on one myself. I received one Christmas eve 2019 from my parents and ended up having a pretty severe panic attack the next morning. Not wanting to wake up my husband, I curled up on the couch with my new blanket and immediately felt relief. I was not cured by any means, but I did experience noticable relief of my symptoms.
Since that morning I use my blanket almost daily. I sleep more deeply and soundly at night. I am consistently warmer throughout the night without weird feverish dreams like you get with a heated blanket (my husband keeps the house freezing cold). And it still helps with my anxiety and panic attacks to this day. I tease my husband that he has been replaced by a blanket.
Both my in-laws have requested weighted blankets and love theirs! I think their cat wants one too! I’ve also noticed my husband sneaking his cold footsies under MY weighted blanket at night!
My one con, is that I believe I got an early version that doesn’t have the grid. Every few days I have to redistribute the beads. Not a deal breaker for me since I get a lot of use out of my blanket. I will make sure my next one is gridded when this one finally dies. Like others have mentioned, it is heavy and a pain to move from room to room or take on trips. But it is a 20lb blanket! 20lbs of anything is a pain to move around on a constant basis!
I have to admit that I was very skeptical about weighted blankets, and I did my research. I chose this one due to the fantastic reviews, and I can say I am extremely pleased.
I ordered the 20lb blanket and was shocked at the weight, however when I go to bed and put this on top of my comforter it gives me a feeling of peace and I feel very snug. The best part is that it does not make me sweat! I tried it alone for the first night but I missed my comforter so for the past few nights I had it on top of my comforter. I still kind of toss and turn but the sleep I am getting with this is more sound and deep. I used it once on the recliner watching tv and zzzzzzzz I was out in 10 minutes.
I highly recommend this blanket, give it a shot.
Our autistic son got to big for the smaller weighted blanket we bought him a year and a half ago, made by same company. We ordered him a larger one so when he turns over the blanket still covers him. With the smaller one he’d turn over, the blanket would be off him and he’d be awake and so would we. We had concerns with the higher weight of this blanket, son is 4yrs old, but has not appeared to be an issue. He’s taken to it quite well.
Cover is very soft, weight is well distributed, but the blanket can make you quite warm. We’ve taken the cover off and it is slightly cooler than using the blanket with cover on.
One suggestion for company on shipping, the sender should use smaller boxes. Blanket came in a box 3-4 times larger than needed with no fill to keep product from shifting. With the considerable weight of the blanket moving around inside the box the box was damaged. Someone retapped it a good bit from where the blanket had likely forced its way out during transit.
This is the second weighted blanket we’ve bought and have been very pleased with both of them.
This is a great weighted blanket… but it looked online to me to be gray on one side and dark & light gray patterned on the other. In reality, it is almost teal-gray on one side (depending on the light) and dark brown and white on the other. After I washed the cover & used it, for some reason, am reacting to it so I don’t pull it up all the way to my face. I’m hoping after it’s aired out a while ( I think you can only wash the outer cover, not the blanket itself) it won’t affect my eyes & throat. I never use fragrance of any kind (except essential oils) & I’m sensitive to smells (although I don’t smell anything except maybe the faintest of odors.) Hoping it’s not the material.

I bought the 20-lb version in January 2021, and used it until the summer, when I replaced it with a 15-lb blanket from another vendor. Now that it’s cold, I went to swap them back out again.
The contents of the blanket have shifted to the point where parts of it are no more than two sheets; other places resemble either logs or pigs being swallowed by a python.
I haven’t figured out a way to redistribute the innards.
The blanket reminds me of the Longfellow poem about a little girl “When she was good
She was very, very good, And when she was bad she was horrid.”
Does anyone have an idea of how to fix the migration problem?

After several exchanges of email, the vendor agreed to a one-time replacement, even though the blanket was purchased almost a year ago.
Since I was very happy with it before the contents shifted, and because of the positive customer service response, I’m opping my rating to five stars.
Gift for someone else, so I don’t know how they find it for sleeping, but the quality was good. Good weight distribution of beads.

Soft and awesome. It is the king size, the product listing can be confusing as it states two different sizes. But it is the larger of the two listed. Our original cover had some of the anchor ties break off and needed to be replaced. Love the grey, and it’s so so soft.
It’s been 5 years since I’ve written an Amazon review, and I spend hundreds purchasing on here. However, this weighted blanket I absolutely do LOVE. I should have ordered the Queen size for 2 ppl, and ordered the 60×80 15 Ibs Queen for one. It’s hard for me to sleep through the night without tossing, and turning which caused me anxiety and to be tired throughout the day while working. I’ve been sleeping like a baby ever since. Just what I needed.
However, only issue I had when using the first 2-3 weeks the lint, or material on the blanket would get into my eyes. My eyes are so sensitive, and it did feel like my throat did swell some. I’m not too sure what that was all about. If your ordering I suggest you wash it first even though it comes brand new. For the first 2-3 weeks I couldn’t pull the blanket up to close to my face, because of that issue. Though, eventually it was no longer an issue from me constantly shaking the blanket off from making the bed each day. I finally washed the blanket first week of June. The material held together just fine, and it’s sooo soft. It’s a beautiful blanket. I did get the pink. I’m gonna eventually gift this to some friends, but tell them to wash it first. I wouldn’t recommend using this blanket for children under 12 yrs old. It’s quite heavy, and can get quite hot. A small kid could suffocate from the weight if it’s too heavy if they place this blanket over their face, I believe. Just be mindful of that.
I had a weighted blanket before, but I wanted another one since that one was uncomfortable and too small. So I got this one because of the soft cover and the big size, and I’m so glad I did. The cover is a bit annoying because the weighted part will bunch up weirdly overnight, but it just requires some shaking out to put it back to rights. The cover itself is soft and such a nice texture with those bumps. The zippers are a tad annoying. Just don’t put that end by your face and then the blanket is excellent sensory-wise. The weight feels super good and it’s helped me sleep so much. I’ve had it for a few months now and there’s been no quality issues and the fabrics are all still very soft. If you have a twin bed, I would recommend getting the queen sized blanket, especially if you like pulling your blankets up over your shoulder. I’ve found the queen sized one works perfect on my twin XL, and its not too big for the bed even when I’m not under it/the bed’s made. From my experience, twin sized weighted blanekts end up more like throws. I’d also recommend that if you’re someone who’s looking at weighted blankets for pressure stimming and not just a sleep aid, get a size heavier than they recommend. onces its spread out over you and distributed its not enough when you get the recommended size. for me at 200lbs, I got a 25lbs blanket, and it’s perfect. my old blanket was 20lbs and it wasn’t enough for pressure stimming at all.

I bought this blanket after my husband decided to claim my other one for himself. I was going to make myself a duvet cover just like the one I bought here and after pricing the material, decided that this was a fantastic value! The duvet cover is exceptionally well made. The ties inside are very secure and long enough to tie. The cover states that you should air dry, but I did dry it on low and removed it about halfway through. I have experienced no issues. The cover is super soft and cuddly.
The blanket itself is very well made and the weight is evenly distributed and the main selling point that I feel you should know is that you don’t hear the inside move around. This is the quietest blanket I’ve ever come in contact with. This is the perfect gift for someone looking for a weighted blanket to help them sleep at night. The corners and sides where the ties connect to the duvet are placed perfectly and are very sturdy and well made. I don’t foresee them being an issue at all for a long time to come. This entire set is very, very well made.
I bought this as I suffer from anxiety and different manias and this really helps me calm down at the end of a very busy and hyperactive day. I also suffer from nerve pain all over as well as lower back issues from aggressive back surgery and this helps calm my nerves and help them to relax and not feel overstimulated. I will definitely buy this blanket set again for myself and others. Two thumbs up for quality and price! The colors are great as well and they set arrived quickly and packaged very well. I feel the set was also exactly as described and exceeded the expectations I had from the description. My husband actually asked if I wanted my old blanket back… I just glared. One of the reasons I know this, is by comparing my recently purchased QUILITY premium 15lb weighted blanket to another weighted blanket I saw at a well known store in town. The weighted blanket at the store reminded me of a “limpy bean bag blanket” & it had none of the fine features that my QUILITY blanket has & the box store weighted blanket cost twice as much! It has a soft cover. It feels like a heavy comforting cloud. I also like that it’s like a normal queen size blanket. Most other weighted blankets are actually shorter and to prevent the blankets from hanging off the bed.
This is my first weighted blanket. Main reason I bought it is to help me sleep. This one is pretty expensive but I can see it lasting for a while. I guess the weight distribution is good because I haven’t noticed anything wrong with it. It has definitely been worth it after the first use! Before I would toss and turn all night. Wouldn’t be able to get more than 1-2hrs of sleep. Before I bought it, I honestly did not believe this thing would work, just wanted to try anything other than sleeping pill aids.
Let me tell you, THIS THING WORKS! I literally fall asleep in less than 20 minute! And I wake up FEELING VERY WELL RESTED! I haven’t felt this rested in years. I made it even heavier I basically have three other blankets and I put the weighted blanket on top; four blankets total. Im about 170 lbs and like the extra weight from my 3 other blankets. I stay in place when I sleep but when I need to move or adjust I don’t have an issue with the weight of the blankets.
I’m very happy with this product. The price is expensive but it’s worth it for me. I get to have my sleep and my mornings again. I’m not dreading to go to sleep anymore. I hop in bed and I’m out in under 20min.

I purchased this item over a year ago. The blanket itself is soft, cozy, and I find that I sleep MUCH better with the weight than without. My mind tends to race at night, so it takes me forever to fall asleep. With the weighted blanket, I’m able to fall asleep much faster and wake up more rested. There are little pockets that hold the beads, so they don’t fall too much to one side or the other. The cover on the blanket is removable and has 8 ties to hold the blanket in place inside the cover. I have used this blanket in the summer by itself and been perfectly comfortable, and in the winter I might use it with another blanket on top on really cold nights.
Recently, I was washing the removable cover and found that the zipper had broken. One side came out of the zipper, and while I was trying to reattach it the zipper pull snapped in half. I contacted the company to see what they could do, with pretty low hopes since I had purchased it a year ago. Keep in mind, I could probably fix the cover myself, I just wanted to see if anything could be done before I put the time into it. Folks, it has been less than a week since I first contacted them, and I have already received a new blanket free of charge. They were very kind, asked for photos of the problem, and sent me a replacement without me even asking for it. The customer service for this company is OUTSTANDING, and they really stand behind their product.
TL;DR: This blanket is amazing, will change the way you sleep forever, and the company is fantastic!
Got it a few days, so far so good. Does the job. No issues with weight dispersion. I like that it has a washable cover. It does run hot but that’s normal – using a flat beds heet can minimize that effect.
Like many people who purchase weighted blankets I struggle with anxiety which has been affecting my sleep. I go through periods of insomnia where I struggle to fall asleep and then end up waking every hour or so until I give up. I finally decided to purchase a weighted blanket and I am SO glad I did. Guys, this is amazing. I can’t believe how quickly I fell asleep and I did not wake up ONCE.
The blanket feels much more heavy when you are carrying it and handling it but once it is on, it did not feel heavy at all. All I felt was safe and relaxed. I think my subconscious mind registered the weight more than I was aware of any heavy ness because I just felt immediately SAFE and I started drifting off to sleep immediately which is unheard of for me. I purchased the separate cotton duvet cover although it does come with the plush one, it’s too hot for that right now. It was relatively easy to figure out the ties, there are instructions on the packaging for how to do it best. Remember to always wash bedding you purchase before you use it. I would definitely recommend this blanket, although I can’t speak for durability yet. Thank goodness it comes with a duvet cover because I’m sure that helps with longevity.
Update 9/2022 I’ve now had this blanket for 2 years and sleep with it every night and have had no issues with durability, no beads coming out or anything like that. Not even a loose thread, it’s practically the same blanket as the day it arrived. I still deeply adore it and while I CAN sleep without it I prefer not to. I can’t believe that I used to struggle so much with falling and staying asleep. It’s a very rare night indeed where it might take me a while to get to sleep but never have I had issues like I used to.
I am a big fan of weighted blankets. I bought one for myself (different company) and got some of the best sleep of my life. So, I wanted to try for my 8YO who is an active sleeper and has been feeling increased stress/anxiety.
1. Super-soft, wonderful quality duvet cover.
2. Duvet cover stays on incredibly well–does not slip at all (unlike the one I bought from different company). Without reading the description, I would have assumed it was just one piece since it stays together so well.
3. Perfectly, evenly balanced. The weighted areas are quilted in place so there is no shifting and the entire blanket feels perfectly balanced.
The only con for me is the size. We got the smaller weight, throw size. And I think if you are considering one, going smaller is better–especially as you get used to it. Trying to shift or move from under a weighted blanket that is too heavy or too large can feel suffocating. So, I chose this size intentionally. However, it seems to not cover my child that well. It is too small to stay on him well in the night. But the larger size was a weight that was too heavy. I’m not sure if it is even possible to do a larger size, with the same weight and keep it evenly balanced–but that is my only complaint. My son likes the blanket but can’t keep it on him. Whereas the one I got for myself is a throw as well but it is much larger and does a much better job of covering my body and staying in place (I also am probably not as active as a sleeper). That is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars. The quality of the blanket is excellent.
So I had to hop on here and share the good news! After ONE night, I LOVE this blanket! I got the biggest sized, grey (I guess King) blanket. It hangs down pretty low on my full sized bed, so I’d say it would probably fit a queen just right. As far as a king mattress (especially the taller ones), I can’t vouch for that, especially if you’re sharing the blanket with a partner.
As far as weight goes, I am 185 lbs and the blanket I bought is 20 lbs. When I first got under it, it felt a little heavy on my chest, I got a little worried and thought maybe I should’ve got the 15 lb blanket.
Mostly because I can be a back or side sleeper, but typically a side sleeper. But I decided to be patient because other reviews said it takes time to adjust to it.
Well let me tell you, it took a whole 30 minutes and I was in Heaven! I rolled over to my side and felt the amazing sensation of a “warm hug.” I live in the south, so a hot blanket doesn’t sound appealing at all. We keep our house at 67′ F at night and I have a few fans on in my room and I had no issues with overheating. I also have a memory foam mattress topper on my bed and a comforter and I didn’t find it to be too warm. It was a tad warm, but not uncomfortable.
I have yet to find any loose, glass beads rolling around either. Haven’t washed it yet, but I plan on washing it gently and as instructed by the manufacturer. The color seems to be as true as the picture and could definitely be used as the main cover on the bed with regular sheets underneath.
I set mine up with jersey t-shirt sheets, weighted blanket, and soon to come a new quilt/coverlet.
I tend to have more anxiety/depression in the evenings and right before I sleep, and this really made me feel safe and relaxed. And to those of you that struggle with that as well, you can appreciate anything that helps enhance your quality of life on a day to day basis.
I had looked into this before, but held back because I worried about being hot and paying a little more money than I’d like, but it’s SO worth having a better night’s sleep. A good night’s sleep is truly so so important because it really improves productivity, happiness, appetite, energy, etc.
And I took a LOT of time to comb through the good and bad reviews, and the good ones definitely outweighed the bad! So so happy with my decision, just hoping it continues to enhance my nights!
So if you’re in doubt, like I was, don’t be this blanket is DEFINITELY worth a try!
I did not know what to expect when I purchased this product. I have difficulty sleeping, I constantly wake up at night (though I don’t have trouble falling asleep). So I’ve been trying different things to try and improve my quality of sleep (non medication) and I heard about weighted blankets, so I decided to give it a shot. While I still wake up at night while using a weighted blanket, it’s helping me fall asleep faster and providing me more energy during the day. I feel more wide awake and alert (compared to using a regular blanket). It is kinda comforting to have a weighted blanket at night, although it takes some time to get used to. I still wake up a lot at night (I did not expect this blanket to fix this), but my quality of sleep feels much better when I use it. The one thing to keep an eye out for is trying to find the right weight (can be little tricky imo). The 10% rule is a good place to start and I should have banked on that. I unfortunately tried way too hard and went about 15% above weight (my mindset was that I needed to pack on some pounds since I’m underweight, so why not get a heavier blanket to semi future proof myself. Didn’t think this out well enough). With it being too heavy for me, the comfort level varies some nights. Overall, it’s a great quality product that does help with falling asleep and improving sleep quality, just be careful when trying to determine the weight of the blanket. I should have gone with the 10% rule, maybe even 8% of my weight (but this is my mistake, not so much a product problem imo). I learned with this product that I do want pressure at night when sleeping, but the one I have is a bit too heavy for me. I still use it here and there, but if I had the right weight, I’d use it everyday without question. It definitely helped improve quality of sleep!
I purchased this blanket in Jan, 2020 after doing MONTHS of research on weighted blankets. I wanted to wait a while and try it out first in order to give it a proper review. I wanted this blanket to help with my racing thoughts at night, my ADD, and my anxiety. And this blanket has been a blessing, complete life saver, and has tremendously improved my quality of sleep. It also actually helped with my BFRB (body focused repetitive behaviors) which is AMAZING! This blanket completely matches the description and worth every penny of the cost. The quality is great in both the blanket and the cover. I love how soft the mink cover is and I absolutely love the aqua color! The blanket itself is awesome because the beads don’t shift or slide into the other squares (as my last one did). Also the entire blanket itself doesn’t slide inside the cover because of the ties (maybe just a little at the top where it gets folded by yours arm or what not, but NOTHING worth fretting over, TRUST ME I have OCD)! I also like the fact that it holds my sheet in place and I’m no longer getting twisted and tangled in those (which idk about everyone else but that drives me absolutely nuts). It is actually very breathable but I sweat a lot all day long and even more so at night, so I wish I could give a better review as to whether it iwould make you sweat or not but I don’t think so because it doesn’t hold heat and is cool to the touch so I think the average person would be just fine. I bought the 60 by 80, 15 lbs for a queen bed and I think it’s perfect so it doesn’t fall on the sides at all and you wouldn’t have to pull the weight with your shoulders (however I sleep alone, so for 2 people I would think you would want a larger one). I weigh 160 pounds and as much as I love this blanket, I do wish that I got the 20lbs. But it kind of worked out perfectly because I have a really puffy light weight feather blanket that I still use on top because I’ve come to learn that I have to have the puffiness for some reason or it just doesn’t feel right, like a security thing I guess. DO NOT waste your money on any weighted blanket that cost less than $80, they are junk! This was the perfect price for EXACTLY what I wanted and expected and I couldn’t be anymore satisfied. Thank you Quility, it’s an amazing product!
COVER:
SILKY SIDE: Sumptuous cover, especially the silky side against my skin. The cover is so nice that we put a very light throw over top so the cat won’t start “pawing” the cover with her claws.
BUMPS: The bumps on the other side….I do not understand why they are there… it doesn’t trigger my weirdness about tactile feel, but for someone more on the spectrum it might be good …..or it might be bad. Wish they had a cover silky on both sides.
WEIGHT: I ordered the 20lb weight based on my weight. Awesome. The weight is very even, and trust me, I would very much notice if it wasn’t. (I’m one of those “Princess & the Pea” kinda gals.)
SLEEP QUALITY: I really has improved my sleep quality, and I am someone who struggles with sleep. On days I am able to nap, the blanket makes a huge difference: with it, I am soothed to sleep faster and deeper. On this alone: Worth every penny.
QUITE WARM Oh yes. The weight and layers of the blanket holds body heat down. This is especially soothing in winter. Some nights its too warm and my husband will push his share over to the center of the bed 🙂 I don’t know if we will be able to use it in summer. (sad face) I think I will likely be able to use it for naps, if the A/C is on….
SIZE CHOICES: I’D recommend bigger than edge to edge of your bed.
I thought it was best to buy it to cover our queen bed edge to edge, because I thought if it hung over the sides I might feel trapped if the weight got twisted (I twist blankets in my sleep.) What I found is normal twists haven’t been a problem. In fact,I’m less prone to moving about as much. The weight soothes me enough not to tangle everything up 🙂
ON THE BED So I got the queen size edge to edge I wish I’d gotten it bigger… because the edge to edge of the bed, once I’m in and my DH is in, means it doesn’t cover both of us … because we aren’t flat. 🙂
ON THE COUCH: When I tried using the queen size on my couch, and I doubled it over with the excess hanging down, the weight of the blanket pulling down did make me feel like it was too much weight when I tried to get up. (Just very heavy, not terrible) THEN I adjusted it so the excess blanket hung over the back of the couch instead so I had just one layer over me and it was fine, and in fact quite nice with no hang down weight.
If I had company over sometimes, well, I wouldn’t get the heaviest one for couch use, I’d scale it down for a more general comforting.
OVERALL: FIVE STARS:
It does what is should, the quality is wonderful, I have no buyer’s remorse.
WISHLIST: I’d love to see this translated into something i could also use in summer. I don’t think a different cover would make it workable, as weight holds body heat down.
And I REALLY wish it came as a sleeping bag.
I would love to see this created into a sleeping bag. When 9/11 happened, I crawled into a sleeping bag because it was soothing to have it hold me. Well, this is what weighted blankets do, and it would be awesome if there was a sleeping bag option. Then also, I could use it when my spouse doesn’t want to use it.
So, I am glad I chose this blanket from this manufacturer and have had no problems and am very happy with the product!!!!
A big reason I bought this one was for machine washability. Although I haven’t washed it yet, I’m less nervous than I was about washing my previous cheap one. The stitching and material seem solid.
Normally I wash anything I get before using it, but as I’ve been under the weather I was delighted that this product arrived looking and smelling fresh and clean. Still think the cover should be washed before using, but given my situation this was a big bonus. And the cover was already on, ready for use.
As for weighted blankets in general, I’m a huge fan. I’ve struggled with insomnia my whole life, and am a master pro at “sleep hygiene”. About a year ago my insomnia became severe, and no medication or sleep tricks (meditation, podcasts, cbt) helped. The little sleep I got was disturbed when I’d awake too hot. You’re supposed to keep things cool for good sleep, but I had this odd need to be buried in blankets. Here’s where the weighted blanket solved two of my big sleep issues — I get the weight I was subconsciously trying to get with 5 layers of blankets, and because I only need the one I don’t wake up hot. It provides the “hug-like” weight you want but doesn’t trap heat.
I’m sleeping better now than I have in a year. I no longer dread going to bed. Granted, the other things I was working on for sleep may also have played a role, but this blanket is a key component.
Bought a second one I’m going to give my son for Christmas.
Still scared to wash the blanket itself, not for lack of quality but fear of having to clean 12 lbs of glass beads out of the washing machine and the damage it could cause. At least it comes with a more easily washable cover. I wonder…if the blanket could be washed while in the cover, to trap those beads if needed. Would love to hear if anyone’s done this.
In summary — hands down one of my favorite purchases this year, and wonderful quality and comfort (you can never be sure when ordering online).
Weighted blanket: great for 2 people me and my smaller wife use this together for great night of comfortable sleep. We have many of these I have a smaller heavier one that she felt was to much(this one was designed for some one closer to my weight so that was expected) we also have a much smaller and lighter one for our 4 year old who says it helps her sleep better too.
Minky cover: adds a softer and warmer comfort for the colder months as well as looks very nice.
We have 3 sets in total and couldnr be happier. Best of the weighted blankets in my opinion. Wieght is even and does not slide or clump to one side as the pockets keep it ballanced. Recommend for any one concodering.
Pros:
-My wife loves it and sleeps so much better, improving her quality of life.
-This is the only blanket that will 100% shut up my wife’s neurotic freaking Chihuahua, which improves his chances at having a quality life.
-My wife doesn’t steal the comforter anymore, which means I have a better night’s sleep and don’t have to leave her.
-It puts my wife to sleep so well that she doesn’t mind if it’s a little warm, so she backs off the thermostat, you Dad’s know what I’m talking about!
-She once laid it over me when i was hungover from drinking entirely too much with my brother, and it let me dig in for a good coma while my body tried to figure out what happened and why I did that to myself.
Cons:
-Having to clean and jerk this thing overhead so I can backload it to carry ANYWHERE she wants it, downstairs, upstairs, to the car for vacation.
Bottom line, men. Get this for your wife to save your marriage and sanity.
Anyway, I’ve tried every “trick” in the book to best insomnia. But the Insomnia triggered Anxiety and my sleep quality was horrifically beyond poor! Meditation, yoga, exercise, no caffeine, eating healthy meals early (not eating past 5:00pm, practicing good “sleep hygiene”, Melatonin…..etc.!
I had read a lot about Weighted Blankets and I researched brands and read hundreds of reviews, asked people questions about their experience with them and finally decided “why not”, I’ll order one. I was pretty skeptical and I thought it was all just a “fad” and had little hope it would work.
Guess what? It has honestly been one of the very best investments I’ve made in my journey to beat Insomnia! No more nights of counting sheep !
In all seriousness, I won’t say the blanket miraculously “cured” my Insomnia or Anxiety, but it’s a powerful tool to help lessen the severity of Insomnia and Anxiety.
Pros:
1. Superb quality!
2. Glass fillers. (Important! Be sure the blanket you buy is filled with glass beads)!
3. Exact weight for me (follow their recommendations on the weight of the blanket in comparison to your weight). Don’t go too heavy and definitely be sure it’s not below the recommended pounds for your body weight!
4. Beautiful color choices!
5. It comes with a cover that protects your blanket and you simply remove the cover to wash/dry and your good to go!
6. You can order more covers from Amazon and I got a coupon for a good percentage off the regular or sale price.
7. It is heavy, but it’s NOT hot!
Cons:
1. You will be so comfortable that you will repeatedly snooze your alarm!
2. It’s a bit of an investment initially.
3. It’s not a blanket I’d recommend sharing with your partner (I wrap mine around me.
4. It’s heavy, so moving it isn’t too easy! I take it off my bed when I make my bed in the morning and grab it when I’m going to bed for the night. (Remember, the blanket may be 15, 17, 18, 20 pounds, etc.)!
The “cons” really were hard to identify as I think this blanket is fantastic and I tell everyone to buy one!

I have trouble sleeping, and this blanket really helps. I am 5’4″ and weigh 112 lb, and at the time I bought this blanket, there weren’t corresponding bodyweight suggestions next to each blanket weight. I vacillated between the 12-lb and the 15-lb and ended up going with the latter. I thought the “cream” color would be more ivory, but it’s light yellow, exactly as shown in the product photo. The removable microfleece cover is super soft, but it makes the blanket way too hot for the summer; so I put a spare cotton duvet cover on it for the time being, until it gets cold again.
This weighted blanket washes up nicely. (The fuzzy cover does too, but my main concern is the blanket itself because I’m allergic to dustmites and wash ALL of my bedding regularly.) I didn’t have any problems with the seams coming undone or any beads spilling out. I washed the blanket on my washing machine’s “allergen” (high heat) setting, and then dried it in my drier. Zero problems. 100% would buy again.
** Update, six months later **
This blanket is still doing great. I’ve washed it four times now (about every six weeks) with no problems. I do wish I had gotten a 12 lb blanket, though, because I think the 15lb is too heavy for my body size/weight — it made my skin/muscles hurt the first week I used it (weird, right?). Everything is fine now, but if you’re vacillating between two blanket weights, I’d recommend getting the lighter one. 😉
** Update, 10 months later **
Okay, yeah, this thing is way too heavy for me and actually started causing me that same “skin/muscle” surface pain the past few weeks. I really don’t know any other way to describe it, but it was super unpleasant. I put the blanket in storage last week and am now back to my previous duvet. I should have gone with the 12-lb version of this weighted blanket. One positive? I have washed it MULTIPLE times now, and it does great in both the washer and dryer — no problems there.
I was told about how weighted blankets could help you sleep so I decided to check it out. I did a lot of research on which one to buy as there are a lot of different brands that on the surface offer similar products. I found Quility to have the most reasonably priced blankets that offer all the perks that you could want.
I ended up buying a 12 pound full size blanket with a blue cover. Putting the cover on was really simple and easy. What was first obvious is the blanket is really well made. The cover is extremely soft, making it very comfortable to sleep with. The weight is well distributed as well.
When first using the blanket, I found it to be surprisingly warm. I usually sleep with two blankets and a sheet in the winter time and honestly, I was able to sleep with just the blanket on me. I use ASMR to help me fall asleep at nights but this blanket definitely added to my ability to calm myself enough to sleep. The number one thing I found when sleeping with this blanket is that it helped me stay asleep, to the point, I really did not want to leave my bed when it was time to wake up. It helps you stay in place while you sleep so you don’t toss and turn at night, keeping you asleep and comfortable.
Now that is starting to get warmer, I have the option to take the cover off and have the cool feeling of the blanket on me.
Final suggestions on choice. I think if I were to buy a different one, I would still definitely get one that has the soft cover. I probably would get a smaller size though since the full size is too big for one person but not quite big enough for two. If I were sleeping alone, then this size would be perfect though. I also would probably get the 15 lbs even though by the suggested weights, I fall into the 12 lbs class, I’m a little to strong for the 12 lbs. So if you’re deciding on what weight to get, please consider your muscle strength in addition to weight.
All in all, a great company and I feel good supporting a small business offering a great product.
Here’s my story (the extended version)…
By complete accident, I happened upon some research discussing the therapeutic benefits of weighted blankets. After extensive research and combing over hundreds of reviews and dozens of brands and versions, I decided on this one (largely based on the reviews I read here). I bought the 1st one hoping it could help my bf with his sleep problems (he’s a veteran with PTSD). When I got it, I laid it out on the bed and decided to try it out myself since he was out of town (I couldn’t resist). To my complete surprise, I fell asleep much faster than I normally do (I usually take Ambien bc I have trouble falling asleep). I was amazed but couldn’t wait for him to try it.
Well the next night he did. He fell asleep in about 5 minutes, he slept soundly without tossing and turning constantly, his restless legs were calm and still, but most importantly, he slept throughout the night. The next morning, he couldn’t stop talking about his new magic blanket. He was hooked. We gave it a few days just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and ordered one for me. He still can’t believe how much it’s helped his sleep, to this day he brags about this godsend and tells me on a fairly regular basis, how much he loves his blanket.
So…a little bit later, he suggested getting one for my papa (my grandfather). As a Vietnam Vet, he also suffers from sleep disturbances. My bf talked to him (for at least half an hour) about how much it helped him from the very 1st night. Needless to say, we ordered him one and also ordered one for my nana. After seeing that they had received it (he had me checking the tracking info constantly), he had me call them to see how they liked it. Unfortunately, they hadn’t taken it out of the box. They were busy bees and just hadn’t gotten around to it. Needless to say, he was so disappointed. After a couple of days, and constant nudges from the both of us, they finally set them up and got to experience the pure sleep bliss for themselves. The next morning I received a text from my papa and he was over the moon about it. He told me he just couldn’t believe that a blanket could help his sleep as much as it did. When I text him back, he immediately called to talk to me about it. Later I spoke with my nana and she loved how the weight helped relax her muscles. She said it felt like all the muscles in her body just melted. She also noticed a difference in his sleep as well.
I know this was long, but I really wanted to explain to people who may be on the fence that you will not regret getting one of these blankets. We purchased 4 of them and would do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re going to get one, you can’t go wrong with this blanket and this company. Thanks for reading and sweet dreams.
Quility Weighted Blanket (25 lbs)
The blanket quality is fine. The mink cover is soft and seems durable. The ties on the inside of the blanket have slipped once or twice, but it’s easy enough to fix (if a mild annoyance). Generally speaking, the blanket itself seems durable and well made.
But after 3 nights, I noticed the beads were running to the sides of the blankets. After 5 days, they were accumulated almost exclusively in the corners or off towards my feet (raising knees in bed will cause them to trickle down). I have to beat the blanket out every night before bed and this is a 20lb blanket we’re talking about. The beds do not stay, and I cannot achieve through brute force the ability to make an even weight as it arrived. When I read reviews, I thought “it can’t be that bad, and this is a good price,” when in fact, if I had realized what this would actually be like, I would have spent the extra money on a blanket that had stitched squares to keep the beads in place.
This would be excellent for kids and lounging. I like it, but it definitely isn’t doing what I had purchased it for.
Most weighted blankets in smaller sizes for kids come with a polyester minky cover, but I really wanted a 100% cotton, breathable option as we live in steamy Singapore! Happy to find the size and colour option I was after here – value for money, quality and service has been spot on.
Material feels nice, good quality. Fits YnM weighted blanket well. The “ivory” color is more of a “sand” color to my eye. Would buy in other colors if available in the size I wanted. Prompt delivery.
I bought the 60×80 size in a 12 pound weight. I weigh 112, and the instructions say to buy a blanket 10% of your body weight plus one pound. I am happy with my blanket but I feel like I could have used a 15 pound with no problem. In the end, the “guide” is just that- a guide- and it becomes a matter of personal preference.
These blankets are NOT supposed to hang over the bed sides. Some reviewers complained that it didn’t fit their bed. If it hangs off the side of the bed it will end up on the floor. They are meant to be wrapped around your individual body. In fact, for this reason I do not share my blanket. I tuck it around me before I go to bed so I am surrounded by it; if you share you cannot do that. I have found no shifting of the glass beads and they don’t make a sound!
My hubby and I put the duvet cover on together, although I could have managed it by myself. It has 6 ties that attach to the blanket loops and the cover is deliciously soft! I love the ivory color of the duvet I selected as well.
I sleep with a Fitbit so I also have tangible evidence that my sleep has improved with this blanket. Prior to sleeping with my Quilty weighted blanket was awake about 1 hour and 30 minutes every night and now I am only awake about 15-20 minutes. I feel refreshed when I wake up, too!
The down side/con is that it is heavy so you don’t really want to be taking this from room to room. (Although this does not bother me!) If you think you want one for watching TV…buy two!
I researched for weeks and weeks and selected Quilty because it came with the cover, had very good reviews, it is good quality, and I could select a color that matched my room. I am VERY pleased and would most certainly buy it again!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. So I can’t review the durability but I’ve pulled it out of the package to look at it. It looks and feels nice. I’m excited to give it to him.
I was first drawn to the idea of a weighted anxiety blanket at my dentist’s office. I had noticed that when the weighted vest was placed on me for dental x-rays, I immediately felt calm.
My sleep has been benefited by the comfort and weight of this blanket–a coddling effect. Also, to my surprise, I like the pebble finish of the duvet. Rubbing my hands along the bumps has a kind of acupressure effect–very soothing…like a kid rubbing a teddy bear.
The Quility brand frankly wasn’t my first choice. I had to return a similar anxiety blanket with duvet cover from Mr W on Amazon. That’s because even though 15 lbs is considered an acceptable weight for a 5’2″ 130 lb person, it didn’t feel like enough weight was on me for the calming effect. (Hey, it’s an individual preference.) Since Mr W didn’t have a 20 lb blanket, I opted for this brand instead. Both have a duvet cover.
If there is anything to quibble about, it would be the length of the inside ties that connect the duvet to the blanket–they are rather short–barely enough to do very small, tight bow-ties, using very flexible fingers. I think the ties would be a non-effort if they were just a few inches longer. . If a version 2 comes out, it ought to have velcro ties (like Mr W’s product) instead of tie straps. Still, I didn’t downgrade the rating just for that reason, because my emphasis was on finding a reasonably priced 20 lb with duvet covering.
A matching duvet is a must-have. Washing a heavy-weighted blanket would likely cause a need for a new washing machine. Instead, the duvet can be temporarily removed for delicate-cycle washing and drying.
As to size, I bought the queen size for a queen size bed. It covers the surface, with no overhang. I think an overhang would cause the blanket to slide sideways due to the weight. This blanket just lies atop, moves very little, and is easily straightened in the morning. (I have TWO quilts below it, I like warmth. Folks who prefer a cooler bed might be better off with a light-pound version. )
I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks…enough for me to know that I’m glad I’m using this blanket.
He put the duvet cover on and slept with it overnight, when I saw him the next day he was responsive and looked rested, I asked how he liked it and he BEAMED, he loved it. Said he started to get antsy and pulled the blanket up, calmed right down. The soft-silky feel of the duvet was perfect for him, he loves any blanket with that texture.
Since then I have noticed he is more engaging, overall in a better, happier mood, and things that are stressing him out are not affecting him at the same level (as far as I can tell).
My only regret is not having found this product sooner.

. I liked how this one came with a cover, so I knew the cover would fit and hold up well to the weight of the blanket. It ended up being cheaper to buy this one than purchasing a blanket and cover separately, too.

I washed the cover as soon as I received the blanket and I’ve used it for 3 nights so far. These are my thoughts:
. I had been afraid that the weight of the blanket would suffocate me or make it hard to breathe. Not the case! It’s like a hug. I’ve always liked sleeping under the weight of a lot of blankets, and that’s what this feels like.
. It’s a little warm. I’ve been sweaty at night lately, so it’s not just the blanket. And honestly it’s not nearly as hot as I’d feared it would be. For being so heavy, it’s very breathable.
. The cover is heavy-duty, thick and soft. It’s like sweatshirt material.
. Definitely helps me fall asleep faster, and I don’t wake up as often!
. My husband actually tried out the blanket first, and promptly declared that he would keep it if I didn’t like it. And last night, I had pushed it aside because I got sweaty, and a little while later I woke up to the sound of him stealing it and covering himself with it.
. The blanket is held into the cover by a series of buttons and loops on the inside of the cover, and then there’s a zipper closure. There are a lot of buttons (they’re placed every other square on the blanket), so it’s a but pain to take off and a HUGE pain to put back on, especially if you miss a button, but the blanket is held in very securely. I am a little worried about the longevity of the thread that holds the buttons on, but I could re-attach them if necessary.
I’ve been using the blanket for a few hours and I am very impressed so far. It seems well made, was packaged wonderfully, has no odor, is soft and is very warm but not hot (I can’t stand being hot under covers). Even though the weight is lower than recommended for my body weight, I am still experiencing the relaxing effect of the blanket. I feel like it is going to hold up well and assuming it does, we will be buying more. The fact that the cover comes with it (and on it!!) is a huge bonus, too. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
Also, I’m not being given an incentive to write this review – I’m just super excited and rely heavily on reviews for my purchases so I’m trying to pay it forward a bit!
Update: my son has been using it for just under a week and we have seen tremendous results. He is sleeping better and longer, wakes up more rested and in a better mood. It definitely is helping us start the school year off right!
