This is a great item, exactly as described. Comes with a little set of easy to follow instructions to set your new lock code. Also comes with an additional attachment which you can attach to your bike and have the lock with you at all times.
It’s is good i can’t even crack the code.I’ve had to leave my bike on a lamp post in town as forgot the combo. It’s been there 6 months now but I regularly visit to give it a wash and oil the chain just in case one day I remember my code

The lock has little weight and is very cheap feeling, but without trying to cut it I don’t know how it will hold up to attack.
To change the combination is quite easy and well documented. The bike mount is simple and works. Lock itself is long enough to wrap to a street lamp or standard bike mount in town. All in all, does what it says on the time and will probably deter the opportunist thief, but not one that’s come prepared. Probably worth its low cos
It’s a brand that I’ve tried and tested. Torches and cycle lamps are way above the rest. This looks to be of similar good quality3. Unfortunately, I can’t give any guarantees unless someone tries to nick my bike. And I’m hoping that won’t happen!
I mean, not gonna complain overall its a simple lock, I was forced to get one or leave my bike unprotected, bit more than I thought it would be, but had to buy one quickly! Later found one cheaper in a local store, which was safer to setup! Still have this one, but don’t really use it, however thats down to circumstance. Not a reflection on the quality of the product!
If you want a bike lock to leave places buy this. I have three of these in various places and I can change the combination on the spot whenever I want.

This bike lock is ideal for when I need to pop down to my local shop and keep my bike outside, this lock will stop the opportunist in their tracks, if not slow them down somewhat giving me time to deal with the situation if the need arises. My neighbourhood is rather quiet but you never know and at 9.99, it’s a small price to pay for piece of mind, I’m very pleased with this lock, money well spent, very happy to recommend!

Function and quality
This is a good quality bike lock for the price, better than some I’ve purchased in the past. The outer cable sheath is made from a thick plastic, I chose the orange colour as this is more visible and more of a deterrent.
The lock does weigh quite a bit which is a good indication of the amount of steel in this lock, the actual lock mechanism is of a zinc alloy I think but the cable is sure enough steel.
The lock arrives with ‘00000’ set as the default combination, to set your own just open the lock, turn the wheel clockwise, set your combination, then turn the wheel anti clockwise and that’s it, job done, this is all explained in the instructions.
The lock frame is a useful addition which easily fits on the bike with the lock attaching to it just as easily, although I tend to just wrap this lock around the main frame when not in use.
I’ve used this now for a while without any issues, the rain hasn’t caused any issues with the lock mechanism at all, I do regularly just spray a bit of WD40 in the lock to keep it in good shape.
Conclusion
For a good deterrence, 9.99 is a price worth paying, the quality is good and this is serving me very well.

The numbers and setting point are clear and the rings large and easy grip. The eye-catching yellow cable cover says “don’t bother”. The combination number setting instructions are clear. Even I could follow them!
But whether this conceals a puny cable I don’t know. My guess is that it is good for the odd hour or two in a busy street, but I wouldn’t chance this to secure my bike against a professional thief’s bolt-croppers in a dark sheltered spot. For that you will need a hardened-steel D-lock.
Overall, good value for the money you would spend on three pokes of chips.
Whilst very few locks are secure against a serious thief armed with bolt cutters (they could definitely cut through the wire on this lock), it is a decent occasional lock for use when you leave your bike outside a shop for instance. Good value
Like how the lock is coiled so it can easily wrap around handlebars or to the frame using the included frame attachment. Will only use a detergent for kids bike or to lock wheels but certainly would use a more high end lock for a bike frame if you live in an area prone to bike thieves.
Ok let me start by saying the first one I ordered was faulty and I arranged with the seller a return only for the seller to sort it within 24 hours which is wonderful so you can be rest assured the seller is 100% , the lock it’s self is pretty good it’s not going to stop anyone who is determined to get through it but compared to most this is excellent and good quality I’m very impressed

Bought this for my son’s new bike. Arrived by the time promised, looked like the picture and instructions were easy enough for my 10 year old to set a code himself.
Pleased with it so far. Not intending to test it on my bike against determined London bike thieves, but seems to be a solid enough deterrent for my daughter’s bike. She’s also excited to be able to manage it by herself.
