This is a superb mid range system which covered all my needs, the pictures quality is excellent and the software easy to use. No subscriptions and you can remotely access the system from your phone. It auto detects and tags movement as being cars, humans, pets, or anything else, so on play back you filter the recordings to say just the type your looking for. I bought an extra 3 cameras, one a PTZ camera with two way audio, all handled by the NVR. I did alot of research before buying this system, and I did read alot of independent reviews to reach my conclusion.
This is a fantastic camera. Good footage excellent customer service. The dome camera is good for ceilings but not for outside so contacted them directly and even though it was after 1 month they were happy to exchange for bullet cameras. Excellent and clear quality.
I bought this replacement for a Swann Cctv system and was not disappointed. Plenty of Ethernet cable is provided and the cameras do not need a separate power supply – amazing! The picture quality is great and the software very easy to understand and operate – even for a Noddy like me. I found it far more user friendly, more modern and less complex than Swann. Looking forward to adding cameras as and when – simply but one end of the Ethernet cable into your recorder , trail the cable to whatever part of the house you require, mount the camera and plug the other end into the camera – that really is IT! ( smiles a lot since buying)
I am impressed with this set. The cameras have good quality images day and night. You can change the brightness of the picture at night which helps get a good picture. The microphone on the camera is great it picks up a lot more than I thought.
The notifications are very handy if you have the unit connected to the internet.
It’s simple enough to install. I just drilled a hole into the loft then ran the cables over to the room the unit now lives and down though the ceiling with the Ethernet cable to the unit. I did this so I didn’t have any wires on the outside of the house.
The app is easy to use and customise detection zones and sensitivity of the camera. It took me a while to find out where some things where in the app. But then again I never ready the instruction manual (I never normally do!)
Had a five year old Swann system, that worked, but the night performance was poor and the movement detection was abysmal. This system came up on Youtube and received good reviews. Checked Amazon and accepted the deal offer. Also bought the E1 out door camera to cover my front door and driveway. One thing that stood out was how fresh and feature rich the software is. Phone app, struggles to get a connection on cellular, yes I have the low quality display set. Been operational for a few days now and the movement detection has improved over time, with less false alerts. My only quibble is the poor quality of the camera mount, feels flimsy and no locking system in-place to fix the camera position.

I’ve had a few CCTV systems for personal use, this is so far the best budget friendly CCTV system out there, with some minor tinkering the video quality is fantastic and it includes night vision. Highly recommended.
