muss sagen, bin begeistert, v.a. auf die sensitiven Kabel, die sich sogar noch verlngern lassen. Der Stromverbrauch der Sensoren ist wirklich gering. Der Alarm des Sensors ist m.E. laut genug, aber nicht ber Betondecken hinweg.
Die App funktionert ganz gut. ber Bluetooth meldet sich der Sensor am Smartphone an und registriert sich in der App. Man muss also keine langen Zeichenketten ablesen und eintippen. Man kann einem Sensor eigene Namen vergeben. Ein Account bei Honeywell wird aber bentigt. Die App zeigt Raumtemperatur und Batteriestand an und gibt ggf. Alarmtne von sich. ber die App lsst sich der Alarm fr den Sensor aus der Ferne abstellen.
The device would not pair with my iPhone during setup. Assumed it was faulty and ordered a replacement, which arrived next day. Same thing happened with the replacement. Then after a bit of searching on the web, I came across an article that said certain Resideo devices would not pair with iPhones running iOS 14.2 and higher. So I tried setup on an old iPhone running iOS 12.5 and it worked straight away. After that, it appears on my iPhone iOS 15. Product is really good so might just keep the first one as well. Amazon will charge me for the replacement if I don’t return the first one within 30 days.
Nach Lieferung sofort eingerichtet und getestet, Hatte erst kleine Probleme mit dem Passwort, die Amis kommen anscheinend nicht mit zurecht. durch U ersetzt: OK. Wasser drauf: Nach max. 2 Minuten Alarm auf meinem Handy. So soll es sein.

Der Leckagemelder funktionierte zu meiner Freude sehr gut nach einfacher Installation. War ruckzuck im Wlan. Anschliessend mal gleich berprft ob er auch anschlgt: Astrein ! Direkte Meldung und (whlbarer) Sirenenalarm. So habe ich mir das vorgestellt. Waren auch gute Duracell-Batterien dabei, kein billiger Schrott !
Den Preis von z.Zt. 63 finde ich um 10 zu hoch, ich hatte vor, mir 3 STck zu kaufen.
Trotzdem empfehlenswert.
Habe von diesen Meldern mehrere am laufen. Die dazugehrige App luft auch sehr stabil. Hatte noch nie Probleme damit. Der Melder meldet alles einwandfrei. Es knnen viele Optionen im Men der App eingestellt werden, egal ob Luftfeuchtigkeit, Temperatur… . Email Benachrichtigung im Alarmfall klappt immer.
Ab und zu habe ich mal einen Wlan Abbruch, liegt aber an der Entfernung bei einem Sensor denke ich, denn der ist bei mir im Heizungsraum im Einsatz. Bei ber 2 Stockwerken wird es dann doch etwas schwieriger. Die anderen Melder laufen ohne Probleme. Ganz billig sind die Melder zwar nicht, aber funktionieren tun die bei mir einwandfrei.
Hat bei uns schon zweimal kostspielige Wasserschden verhindert. Gert meldet zuverlssig und es gab auch keinen Fehlalarm. Wir haben im Haus 4 Stck verteilt. Nur nicht so gnstig.
Funktioniert- habe damit eine Strmeldung aus einer Heizungsanlage WLAN fhig gemacht (potentialfreier Kontakt, externes Fhlerkabel aufgeschnitten und angeklemmt) Die Auswertung erkennt einen Kurzschluss der beiden Drhte also als Fehler und meldet diesen.

Infatti l’apparecchiatura pu inviare fino a 3 report giornalieri su temperatura e umidit dell’ambiente in cui installato; pu essere fissato a parete oppure semplicemente appoggiato su un piano.
Sarebbe utile un’interfaccia rel attivabile in caso di allarme.
I would have given this product 5 stars but I had a real problem setting it up as it would not Bluetooth to my i phone. I sent an email to Honeywell support but they just sent out the instructions that I had. In the end I got it sent up on a Android phone.
When I contacted Honeywell again they then said the problem I had experienced was known to them.
The product works well although I would recommend mounting it on a wall and not placing it on the floor as on the floor it will then display high humidity measures.
All round a good product shame about the Bluetooth issue.
Consegna avvenuta nei tempi previsti, articolo semplice ma efficace. Utilizzato da mesi per misurare umidit ed eventuali perdite in cantina, tiene memoria delle variazioni tramite un’app molto semplice da usare. Non ho faticato per collegarlo alla rete. Se lo si trova in offerta un affare, anche se il prezzo non di molto pi elevato rispetto a soluzioni simili. Consigliato.

J’avais un dtecteur sonore dans la cave malheureusemet on ne l’entendait pas jusqu’ ce qu’on ouvre la porte de la cave …
Facile installer, mais quand mme un peu vieillot technologiquement (ne dtecte pas mon Wifi alors qu’il a russi se connecter ) . Il donne en plus le degr d’hydromtrie. La temprature est celle qu’il rcupre sur Internet donc compltement inutile, ca aurait t un plus s’il donne aussi la temprature de la cave….

The app is a little tricky to use but once you have set one up the rest is easier.
Works only with 2.4gb WiFi connection and does on occasions drop off the network and give you a warning.
You can mange as many devises as you like from one app. On iPhone in my case.

Schnelle Lieferung und problemlose Installation. Die angezeigten Temperaturwerte sind identisch mit denen des Zimemrthermometers.
Ich habe drei der Melder im Keller im Einsatz (Waschkche, Heizungskeller und Pumpensumpf). Vorher habe ich an allen drei Einsatzorten geprft, ob das WLAN dort stark genug ist — was bei mir durch grozgig im Haus verteilte Access-Points der Fall ist.
Der Wassermelder kann Stand-Alone betrieben werden, spielt seine Vorteile aber erst richtig bei WLAN-Zugang aus. Hierzu braucht er anders als viele andere Gerte kein zustzliches Gateway, er kann sich eigenstndig ins WLAN einbuchen.
Der Melder kommt gut verpackt und gepolstert in einer ordentlichen Pappschachtel. Es sind Dbel und Schrauben, das Melderkabel sowie ein Satz Alkaline-Batterien dabei. Diese sollen ein Jahr halten, wenn ich dazu Erfahrungen habe, plane ich mich hier nochmal zu melden.
Der hintere Deckel kann einfach ohne Werkzeug abgenommen werden. Er ist aus Gummi, so dass er das Batteriefach halbwegs abdichtet. Hierdurch kann er auch nicht beim Abnehmen brechen, da er ja flexibel ist.
Vor Einlegen der Batterien sollte man sich schon mal die Honeywell Home App installiert haben — nicht wie in der Anleitung erwhnt die Lyric-App, die gibt es nicht mehr — und ein Kundenkonto angelegt haben. Bluetooth sollte am Handy eingeschaltet sein. Nach Einlegen der Batterien piept der Melder und geht in einen Anmeldemodus, was durch eine blaue LED angezeigt wird. In der App klickt man dann einfach auf Hinzufgen und whlt einen Wassermelder als Gert aus. Der Melder koppelt sich dann mit dem Handy, um Daten auszutauschen. Anschlieend wird dann gefragt, wo der Melder platziert sein soll (Vorauswahl Zu Hause / Gartenhtte / Ferienhaus / .. oder freie Benennung) und an welchem Ort er liegt (Waschkche / Bad / oder freie Benennung). Dann wird noch gefragt, in welches WLAN er sich einbuchen soll (ich habe mein Gast-WLAN genommen) und das WLAN-Passwort wird abgefragt — fertig, der Melder taucht in der App auf.
Einmal pro Tag bucht sich der Melder kurz ins WLAN ein und bertrgt Luftfeuchte und Temperatur an die App. Es ist auch fter einstellbar, das geht dann aber auf Kosten der Batterielebensdauer. Bisher kamen diese Nachrichten jeden Tag zuverlssig an — von allen drei Meldern. Es wird in der App eine Kurve mit Temperatur- und Feuchteverlauf angezeigt.
Kommt Wasser unter den Melder, so dauert es ein paar Sekunden und der Melder selber schlgt laut Alarm. Zustzlich bucht er sich ins WLAN ein und es geht eine Nachricht an die App raus, die dann auch Alarm schlgt — unter Angabe von Einsatzort und Standort. Der Alarm ist von der App aus deaktivierbar. Parallel kann man eine Mail schicken lassen. Man kann sich nicht nur auf ein Handy benachrichtigen lassen, sondern auf viele parallel — z.B. an alle der Familie oder auch an den Nachbarn.
Zustzlich kann man an den Melder per Klinkenstecker die mitgelieferte Schnur anschlieen. Diese erfasst Wasser auf ihrer gesamten Lnge von 1,2 m und fhrt auch zur Auslsung des Alarms. Sie ist bis zu 125mal verlngerbar, man kann also auf 150 m Lecks erfassen. Allerdings sind die Schnre sndhaft teuer, ich habe mich daher fr einzelne Melder entschieden. Bei mir liegt der Melder unter dem Wasseranschluss und die Schnur fhrt unter den Waschmaschinen her. So sollte ein Leck zuverlssig erfasst werden, egal wo es ist.
Neben der reinen Wassermelderfunktion kann der Melder ber die App auch bei zu hoher oder zu niedriger Luftfeuchtigkeit oder zu hoher oder zu niedriger Temperatur warnen (alle Grenzen einstellbar). Das brauche ich nicht, knnte aber praktisch sein, wenn man z.B. Frostschden in der Gartenhtte vermeiden mchte.
Ich bin mit den Meldern wirklich sehr zufrieden. Sie sind wirklich durchdacht, einfach einzurichten und haben zumindestens bisher zuverlssig funktioniert. Der Preis ist kein Superschnppchen, aber ein einziger zu spt bemerkter Wasserschaden ist definitiv teurer als die Kosten fr die Melder. Bisher hat der Preis ordentlich geschwankt — siehe Idealo. Es lohnt sich auf ein Angebot zu warten.
Edit 6.1.2020: Ich habe jetzt auch mal ausprobieren knnen, was passiert, wenn der Melder kein WLAN mehr bekommt. Vor dem Melder stand ein groer Metalltopf, durch das das WLAN offensichtlich nicht durchgekommen ist. In der App erschien nach einem halben Tag eine Warnmeldung, dass der Melder offline ist (zustzlich per Mail). Als ich den Topf dann wieder entfernt habe, kam nach einigen Stunden in der App die Meldung, dass der Melder wieder online ist – ohne irgendwelches Zutun am Melder. Er bucht sich offensichtlich wieder automatisch ein, wenn er wieder WLAN empfngt.
Edit 03.07.2020: Auch nach lngerer Einsatzdauer bin ich mit dem Wassermelder immer noch sehr zufrieden. Honeywell meldet selbst, wenn sie ihre Server warten und die Online-Funktion mal eine (kurze) Weile nicht verfgbar ist. Wegen Wasser haben sich die Melder (zum Glck) noch nicht gemeldet, aber der Luftfeuchtigkeitsalarm hat schon ein paar Mal (berechtigt) zugeschlagen. Die Meldungen scheinen also zuverlssig zu funktionieren. Interessanterweise kann ich brigens an dem Melder, der auf dem Pumpensumpf liegt, die Tage wo Wsche luft ablesen. Der hat dann in seinem Temperaturmessungsverlauf immer einen Peak vom warmen Waschwasser unter ihm ;-).

J’ai mme achet un deuxime dtecteur pour la buanderie et pour la cage d’escalier en cas de stagnation d’eau lors de forte pluie ou en prventif !

Nach einem Wasserschaden war ich auf der Suche nach einem zuverlssigen System,
dass mir auch unterwegs den Schaden sofort meldet.
Ich habe jetzt 3 dieser Sensoren im Einsatz … Schaden simuliert und getestet … meldet immer zuverlssig.
Als Zusatz sehe ich den Temperaturverlauf und die Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Rumen…

Trs bon appareil dans l’ensemble. Semble solide et bien fini.
Mesure de fuite par contact au sol et/ou avec le cble fourni. Mesure galement la temprature et l’humidit avec courbes sur appli. Facile a installer une fois le compte cr. Directement connect au wifi sans routeur supplmentaire.
Seul bmol pour moi, problme de com. depuis la salle de bain de la chambre d’o l’toile en moins. Oblig d’installer un rpteur de wifi.
Je recommande pour avoir l’esprit plus tranquille et surtout dtecter plus rapidement une fuite cache sous l’vier ou la baignoire et galement connaitre l’humidit des pices d’eau.
Reli au smartphone, quelque soit la distance (plusieurs centaines de kilomtres) il vous donne le taux d’humidit de la pice notamment. Bref, un trs bon achat. Je vous le conseille.

La configurazione relativamente semplice e il dispositivo si riaggancia automaticamente al wifi in caso di caduta temporanea della rete.
La app Honeywell Home non mi fa impazzire, ma invia comunque gli allarmi tempestivamente in caso venga rilevata la presenza di liquidi.

Prezzo sicuramente non basso, in linea con gli altri prodotti Honeywell.
Il consumo delle batterie mi sembra adeguato: dopo 10 mesi di utilizzo (con tre aggiornamenti giornalieri) la carica residua al 84%.
Concludendo, il prodotto fa ci per cui lo ho acquistato… quindi sono soddisfatto.
Aggiornamento al 19/8: il dispositivo si disconnesso dal wifi ma in casi precedenti si riconnette autonomamente. Questa volta non successo e ho quindi tentato di riconfigurarlo.
Niente da fare… con wifi attivo e segnale forte a 2.4 GHz la app non rileva alcuna rete domestica (dispositivo resettato, batterie nuove, app Android reinstallata,
autorizzazioni concesse).
Ergo… il rilevatore non pu essere utilizzato quasi sicuramente a causa della app Honeywell Home.
Mi auguro che il supporto clienti mi risponda quanto prima.
Ovviamente le stelle scendono drasticamente, in attesa di soluzioni.
Aggiornamento al 23/9: risolto il problema cambiando il nome SSID della rete wifi a cui il rilevatore agganciato. La ho rinominata eliminando i caratteri speciali presenti nel nome e la riconfigurazione ha funzionato nuovamente.
Es ist im Keller instaliert und tut genau das was es soll. OK ab und an meint die Software ich msste mich neu anmelden ? h warum ? aber durch Passwort Speichern geht es dann, auch wenn es nervt. Aber das Teil tut was es soll und das sehr gut. Nur wer meint es kommt zu einem Wasser Leck und in zwei hundertstel Sekunden kommt die Mail aus Handy sollte sich lieber selbst daneben setzen. Auch Server und W-Lan brauchen Zeit, plus Mail refrech zeit 😉
Macht alles einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Tolle Verarbeitung und sehr einfache Installation. Auch die App ist gut! Werde noch einen zweiten bestellen!

J’ai trouv l’appli sur smartphone facile configurer et utiliser. Pas de souci pour jumeler les appareils ( part 1) (ne pas mette de signe de ponctuation) ou j’ai du recommencer en enlevant les piles. Sonne ds qu’il y a quelques gouttes et que le cble est mouill. J’en ai install 3 : 1 dans le coffrage de la baignoire de la SDB loign d’au moins 6 mtres de la box avec 2 cloisons, 2 sous les meubles de la cuisine (Evier et machines laver) (Chauffe-eau et chaudire).
Aprs un dgt des eaux cause d’un joint qui a fuit sur la nourrice, ce produit me permettra d’tre avertie si une fuite se produit dans le coffrage de la baignoire et m’vitera de contrler. J’ai enroul les cbles (3) autour des huit tuyaux de la nourrice. Il y a un jour o la connexion a t perdue mais retrouve et le boitier sonne quand mme s’il y a un souci.
Un peu cher mais si c’est le prix de la tranquillit !

Setup was a bit of a pain. It would not work on WiFi channel 13 so I had to reconfigure my router. Possibly this is because Honeywell are a US company and channel 13 is not used in the US. I had a similar issue with another Honeywell device which Honeywell took care of with a firmware update.
Anyway, if your WiFi router is a mystery to you and it is just set up as it came out of the box, you should be just fine and have no problems.

Forse l’unica implementazione che potevano fare la possibilit di scegliere se inviare i messaggi di allarme in modo indipendente fra messaggi Push sullo smartphone e/o sulla mail (al momento non c’ possibilit di scelta, arrivano entrambi)
Easy to setup. Works Perfectly. Already paid for itself after detecting a water leak from our washing machine.
This worked exactly as I hoped. When I put lead on damp cloth it did not alert. But when in a very shallow pool of water in a saucer it did. Alarm worked, email sent and phone app alerted. You can switch off alarm from app. You also get a second email / app alert when leak resolved.
Easy to setup. No additonal components i.e. just connects to your wifi router. A very professional product.
Ich habe bereits 5 Stck dieses Modells im Einsatz und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Wassermelder sind in fnf verschiedenen Mietsobjekten jeweils im Heizungsraum installiert, in der Nhe der Entkalkungsanlagen und Wasserboilern. Die Anmeldung am Server/ WLAN und Einstellung der App ( Android Smartphone ) war sehr einfach und selbsterklrend. Die zustzlichen Daten wie Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit brauche ich zwar nicht, aber sind dank einer sehr einfachen Grafik leicht zu verstehen. Die Alarmierung vor Ort durch den lauten Summer und Informierung per E-Mail und auf dem Smartphone per App funktioniert tadellos. Per App sieht man auch die Akkuanzeige der Wassermelder in % dargestellt.
Super easy to install and the sensing cable is very sensitive…. so much so, that we had to change location of the string off from the floor near the washing machine due to false triggers. There can be a delay of around a minute from selecting deactivate/mute alarm for this taking place.
However, it is excellent and gives good piece of mind but I would advise taping the alarm in place for a couple of days to ensure suitable location prior to fixing with screws.
Prompte Lieferung. Problemlose Installation und Funktion der App. App warnt bei Wasserleck und sendet auch zgig eine E-Mail. Sirene knnte etwas lauter sein, aber OK. Lsst sich einfach ber die App ausschalten.

Das Gert funktioniert einwandfrei. Zunchst ldt man die Honeywell-Home App herunter und erstellt ein Konto.
Eine Kurzanleitung liegt dem Gert bei. Nachdem die Batterien eingelegt sind, folgt man der App um das Gert zunchst in der App, dann am eigenen Router mittels Pawort anzumelden. Die LED signalisiert die Suche blau und besttigt die Anmeldung grn und erlischt im Normalbetrieb. Das Gert hat eigene Wassersensoren auf der Rckseite und knnte als Leckmelder direkt auf den Boden gelegt werden, kann aber mittels beigelegter Schraube mit Dbel an der Wand befestigt, der beiliegende Feuchtigkeitssensor (Kabel) eingesteckt und auf den Boden gelegt werden. Wird dieses Kabel nass, meldet das Gert lautstark Wasser, die LED leuchtet rot, auf den angemeldeten Smartphones kommt in Krze eine Push-Nachricht, ebenso eine E-Mail ber den Wasseraustritt. berschrittene eingestellte minimale oder maximale Temperatur- oder Luftfeuchtigkeitswerte werden ebenfalls gemeldet, Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit knnen aber auch jederzeit ber die App abgefragt werden. Ich werde ein zweites Gert im Ferienhaus platzieren um hier keinen Wasserschaden oder einen Heizungsausfall zu riskieren. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach, die Funktion einwandfrei, die Produktqualitt berzeugt.
Heute einen Nachtrag, denn ich wechselte meinen Internet-Router.
Nirgendwo fand ich einen Hinweis darber. Ich habe probiert und habe es wie folgt geschafft:
Nach dem Routerwechsel habe ich in meiner Honeywell-App den betroffenen Honeywell-Fhler gelscht. Jetzt die Reset-Taste des Fhlers (hinter der Batteriefachabdeckung) mittels Broklammer, mit eingelegten Batterien, so lange drcken, bis das Gert piepst. Das Gert ist nun wieder ein Neugert.
Die Batterien entnehmen. Nun auf der App ber die + Taste” ein Gert hinzufgen. Die Batterien nun wieder einlegen und jetzt beginnt die Zeremonie mit der blau blinkenden LED, so wie in der Inbetriebnahmeanleitung beschrieben.
Den Router whlen, mittels Schlssel anmelden, konfigurieren, fertig.
Die LED ist grn, spter aus, wie gehabt.
Vielleicht habe ich diesen Hinweis ja in der Bedienungsanleitung bersehen.

Il rilevatore costruito con cura e con ottimi materiali cos come il sensore esterno. La app intuitiva e in due minuti trova il dispositivo e si connette alla rete. La prova andata benissimo : ha lilevato l’acqua e dopo 30 secondi arrivato l’avviso di perdita sullo smartphone. La sirena interna chiaramente forte e si spenta dopo 1 minuto dal comando dato sulla app.
I live in a flat in a big development where everybody has immersion heaters and hot water tanks. I don’t know if they put in a faulty batch but quite a few people have had problems with leaks and it’s a nightmare when not only their apartment but the one below has water damage.
I worry about what would happen if the tank started leaking when I was out, especially if I was away on holiday, so I was pleased to try this device.
It was surprisingly easy to set up and the cord means I could easily thread it around the tank. Now I know that if the tank leaks I’ll get an alert on my phone immediately and I can get family in with a spare key to turn the water off for me because there is a lot of damage.
I tested it and it worked well – if I was in then the alarm certainly couldn’t be ignored – I splashed a little water on it and it went off immediately.
It’s a quality product which provides me with a lot of peace of mind and could prevent a real disaster. I’d recommend it.
Sensor lead placed under washing machine to detect leaks. When tested with water, worked well, alarm went off and also send me a text message. Seems to be very well made, with both water and humidity sensors, which can be monitored through an app on your phone. Very impressed.
So far I have only had two high humidity alerts and thankfully nothing from the water sensor. The high humidity alerts were expected, both due to drying washing in the room where the unit is fitted. Email messages were sent when the humidity exceeded the preset value and again when it fell back below the trigger level. All seems to be working satisfactorily.

Das Gert lsst sich einfach ber die App integrieren. Sehr gut ist das mitgelieferte einsteckbare Sensorkabel, was sich bei Bedarf auch verlngern lsst. Das Gert ist solide aufgebaut.
Raumtemperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit werden angezeigt, aber zur Schonung der Batterie nur einmal bis dreimal am Tag (einstellbar) in der App angezeigt.
Aus folgenden Grnden gebe ich nur 4 Sterne.
– Die weiche Rckwand des Gertes, die auch das Batteriefach verschliet lsst sich nur recht fummelig wieder verschlieen.
– Eines der beiden Gerte ist in einem Raum mit recht dicken Wnden. Diese Gert verliert alle 1 bis 2 Wochen die Verbindung zum Netzwerk. Leider verbindet sich das Gert nicht wieder von selbst, auch wenn man es in die Nhe des Routers legt. Man muss die Batterien rausnehmen und nach kurzer Pause wieder einlegen, dann verbindet es sich wieder. Das sollte eigentlich ohne Batterie entfernen funktionieren. Immer gibt es einen Alarm, wenn die Verbindung verloren geht.
– Der Alarmton knnte noch etwas lauter sein.

Cercavo da tempo un prodotto che controllasse eventuali perdite d’acqua senza la necessita’ di una base dedicata come fanno la maggior parte di produttori di questi sensori. Ho comunque acquistato il prodotto anche se le recensioni non erano proprio il massimo. Be’ dopo 5 minuti era gia’ perfettamente funzionante, al momento non posso che dire che funziona come mi aspettavo. Se vogliamo fare qualche appunto si potrebbe dire che l’app potrebbe consentire piu’ aggiornamenti della temperatura e umidita’ anche a scapito della durata delle batterie. Ho fatto qualche test con un bicchiere d’acqua e ha funzionato regolarmente sia l’allarme che il ripristino successivo, ora prendero un ulteriore prolunga da aggiungere a quella da 1 metro gia’ in dotazione. comunque al momento mi posso dire molto soddisfatto, poi vedremo.

Sehr gutes Gert, einfach einzurichten, habe es seit ca. 4 Wochen in Betrieb. Wirklich empfehlenswert. In der App werden der Verlauf von Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur aufgezeichnet. Der Alarm wird bei Wassereinbruch sofort per App und Mail weitergeleitet. Einziges kleines Manko, die doppelte Aufzeichnungslinie der Messwerte ist irgendwie nicht ganz verstndlich, eine Anleitung dazu habe ich nicht gefunden.

Unter der Sple war eine Leitung zum Mischer angerostet und es trpfelte da wohl einige Tage dahin bis die Kellerdecke nass war.
Glcklicherweise war gleich ich der Nhe ein Aussparung in der Betondecke.
Das htte ich mit so einen Sensor sicher frher bemerkt, also her mit sowas.
Mir gefllt hier besonders, dass es ein Sensorkabel ist und man dieses einfach im Bereich gut verlegen kann und es damit wohl schneller einen Alarm gibt, bis der sonst der Sensor selbst absuft.
Installation und Konfiguration hat mit Registrierung ca. 2-3 Minuten gedauert.
Ich weis nicht wieso sich die Leute so ber die Registrierung aufregen, das hat man berall und man kann ggf. die Daten ja Faden und ne gratis Email nehmen, ich hab kein Problem damit.
Dann gehts mal ans Testen.
Ich hab ein paar Taschentcher nass gemacht und begonnen die Leitung an einer Stelle so 4-5 cm einzufeuchten.
Es dauert 1-2 Minuten bis der Alarm sowohl am Gert als auch zeitgleich am Handy losging.
Die Reaktionszeiten sind sicher auch etwas dem Batteriebetrieb geschuldet evtl, geht es mit Kabel isn Wasser deutlich schneller.
Ich wollte aber testen, ob er auslst wenn er langsam immer feuchter wird, weil eine Leitung tropft.
Dies sind ja meist die Schden die man nicht sofort bemerkt.
Das Gert ist jetzt 1 Woche eingebaut und immer noch per App sofort erreichbar.
Bin zufrieden damit und werde wohl in Zukunft noch 2-3 nachkaufen.
Personnellement en suivant pas pas les recommandations de la notice je n’ai eu absolument aucun problme d’installation de l’application et du dtecteur sous Android.
Tout fonctionn du premier coup, je me suis mme inquit pour rien quand la Led s’est teinte au bout de 5min, en fait c’est un fonctionnement normal pour conomiser les piles. D’ailleurs en rglage standard elles sont senses durer 3 ans.
La notice est claire bien que concise, attention toutefois de ne pas jeter le petit bouchon en caoutchouc qui occulte l’entre type jack sur le boitier lorsque vous connectez le cble. Car il sert occulter la prise jack femelle au bout du dit cble.
Vous devez mettre le cble au sol le long de votre machine laver le linge ou lave vaisselle ainsi vous assurerez une surveillance sur toute la longueur du cble. Car oui c’est bien l’ensemble du cble qui dtecte l’eau et non l’extrmit. Si la longueur du cble n’est pas suffisante il vous suffit d’en connecter un autre Cble W1AS prix de 22.
Le petit plus de ce connecteur, il ne se cantonne pas dtecter les fuites, il enregistre la temprature et l’humidit de votre pice et vous retranscrit les variations avec des courbes claires. C’est plutt bien, car vous pouvez ainsi faire le bilan de l’hygromtrie dans votre buanderie par exemple, pour savoir si l’aration est suffisante ou non. Il peut galement vous alerter du risque de gel pour une maison secondaire.
Ct tarif 80 il est ce jour au mme prix que la concurrence, voir 10 moins cher que le Grohe.
En rsum un bon dtecteur d’humidit/temprature et fuites prix raisonnable.
I want to give this 5 stars because it was easy to setup and feels a good product. But it lost a star because the sealed rear cover is really annoying to take off and put back on again. A stupid design. Fiddly and frustrating. I carried out one test and the alarm went off and all the alarms to by emails etc.. worked as promised. I am confident that it will work (fingers crossed).
The first thing I will say about this product is that you need to register it for it to work in the app despite what Honeywell support tell you, otherwise it doesn’t appear in the list of products. When I had problems at the start the support desk were adamant that you didn’t need to register but I ignored their incorrect advice, registered and hey presto! It appeared in the list. Even after I told them this they just continued repeating their incorrect advice…
Other than that it works fine, I haven’t had an alert for water leak yet (because I haven’t had a leak!) but yesterday it did alert me to a minimum temperature that I had set. It does loose contact with my Wi-Fi quite regularly but is probably situated at close to the limits of the routers range and not ideally positioned (behind washing machine), but manages to reconnect without my intervention – a longer sensor cable would have enabled it to be mounted higher up which would probably solve the issue (sensor extension cables are available at extra cost).
I’ve got it to take the maximum number of readings per day and after 6 months use its got 72% battery life left using a energizer batteries.
A chi si rivolge questo prodotto?
A persone che hanno impianti idrici particolari, dove presente la possibilit di perdite, e che rischiano gelate.
Ad esempio io l’ho posizionato nella mia casa in campagna dove, non avendo acqua diretta, ho un sistema con pozzo artesiano a 120m di profondit, serbatoio da 1500l e autoclave che manda l’acqua in pressione dentro casa. Nonostante io mi sia dedicato con tanta fatica e amore a realizzare tramite apposita centralina, temporizzatore, rel vari e galleggianti, un sistema a prova di bomba che non dovrebbe far cadere nemmeno una goccia di acqua non posso escludere l’errore umano. Ad esempio una volta l’acqua era finita, mia madre era andata a caricarla e invece di premere il pulsante per la riempitura automatica (che stacca quando il galleggiante dice abbbbasta) ha premuto quello manuale e la cantina si era mezza allagata prima che si accorgesse del danno.
Ora, racconto a parte, il prodotto composto da: un rilevatore/centralina, batterie comprese e un cavetto che si monta sul rilevatore e si poggia o si infila nella zona di interesse che rilever umidit, acqua etc.
Una volta acceso si fa l’installazione tramite lo smartphone e lo si collega al proprio wifi, cos potr mandarvi notifiche ed email in caso di problemi.
Come sempre per honeywell l’installazione e il software, sebbene non siano malaccio, sono sempre poco intuitivi rispetto a concorrenti che riescono a fare tutto il setup senza che io debba scrivere o cliccare nulla.
Ad ogni modo il sistema , che ho provato, funziona bene. Avvisa quando rileva presenza di acqua e avvisa anche quando la perdita viene riassorbita, il che fantastico nel caso ad esempio lo si metta in un luogo a rischio pioggia pi che a rischio perdita di acqua.
Non avevo mai riflettuto sull’utilit di questi apparecchi ma onestamente se mi ricordo di quando si allagata la cantina o di quando, molto molto peggio, ci fu il diluvio universale a roma e mi si allag il garage (e non me ne sono accorto per giorni perch non vado spesso) effettivamente l’investimento di 60-80 non pi cos importante.
Il prodotto comunque funziona bene ed facile da usare quindi mi sento di consigliarvelo e di farvi coraggio solo nel momento del setup iniziale.
El detector de agua al probarlo ha funcionado muy bien, al principio ha sido un desastre la configuracin con la aplicacin, pero despus ha sido muy facil su uso. Lo que me parece un poco absurdo es que un elemento de este tipo no se pueda mojar, su uso es detectar fugas de agua y deberia de ser impermeable. El hijo que tiene me funciona igual de bien, lo he puesto dentro de un vaso de agua y ha empezado a pitar y me ha llegado la notificacin al movil.
Me gusta la idea, es muy til si nos vamos de vacaciones y pasa algo del estilo.

Und ist schon einmal das Wasser ausgelaufen (Folge: Schaden bei den Nachbarn an der Decke) und einmal im Winter die Wasserleitung in der Wand eingefroren. Beides wre mit diesem kleinen Melder vermutlich nicht passiert.
Das Gert ist ganz einfach zu bedienen, wenn man Smartphone-Routine hat. Batterien in das kleine Kstchen einlegen, App herunterladen, Pairing starten und Einstellungen vornehmen. Fertig. Natrlich muss ein Kundenkonto erffnet werden und man muss Daten wie Name und Email angeben. Wie sollte so ein Dienst, der einem auch im Urlaub Bescheid gibt, auch sonst funktionieren? Da kann ich das Gemecker einiger anderer Rezensenten hier echt nicht verstehen. Fr mich ist genau diese Mglichkeit das Highlight, denn den Alarm wrde ich unten im Haus nicht hren und die Verbinden wrde ebenfalls nicht halten.
Das Kabel, das am Detektor befestigt wird, ist in seiner kompletten Lnge der Sensor. Fr eine einzelne Waschmaschine reicht das locker. Zustzlich kann man sich die Temperatur anzeigen lassen, also hat auch der Frost keine Chance mehr.
Der Sensor ist unempfindlich gegen Wasser, das ganze Gert sollte aber nicht allzulange in einer Pftze liegen. Wenn die Batterie nass wird… Naja. Wir haben es deswegen lieber an der Wand befestigt. Fr ein paar Minuten sollte ein wenig Feuchtigkeit aber kein Problem sein.
Die Batterie hlt bis zu drei Jahren, je nach Einstellung, Es kommt darauf an, wie oft das Gert aktiv werden soll. Die Zyklen lassen sich aber in der App einstellen. Ebenfalls in der App kann man auch sehen, wie voll die Batterie noch ist, so dass man sie rechtzeitig tauschen kann.
Ich hoffe zwar, wir mssen den Detektor nie im echten Einsatz testen, aber so hat er schonmal sehr gut funktioniert und gibt uns ein Gefhl der Sicherheit.
Ach ja: Den Nachbarn sollte man aber Bescheid geben, dass mein einen Wassermelder hat, damit die wissen, was los ist, wenn das Teil losgeht. Das ist nmlich echt laut!

ATTIVAZIONE
Prima di entrare nel merito, alcune informazioni.
Il sensore ha le seguenti misure cm. 8 x 8 con spessore di cm. 3 e peso di gr. 160 a cui bisogna aggiungere gr. 32 del cavo sonda dalla lunghezza di cm. 128.
La parte frontale di robusto materiale plastico bianco con al centro il logo apposto su un riquadro leggermente rialzato. Nella parte frontale troviamo, inoltre, una spia LED e l’ingresso per il jack della sonda opportunamente protetto da un gommino di chiusura.
Il retro composto da una cover in materiale plastico grigio abbastanza flessibile con inseriti due sensori. Sollevata la cover, facendo forza su uno spigolo ben contrassegnato, troviamo l’alloggiamento delle tre batterie stilo AA, da inserire prima dell’attivazione della app.
Il sensore va montato nell’ambiente individuato ricorrendo, eventualmente, alla vite e al tassello inclusi nella confezione inserendo opportunamente il cavo sonda, per rilevare le potenziali infiltrazioni d’acqua. Il cavo sonda pi essere replicato aggiungendone di ulteriori (acquistabili a parte a 24,99 cadauno) sfruttando per l’innesto l’ingresso del sensore. Il rilevatore privo di display in quanto tutta la gestione svolta da apposita app “Honeywell Lyric” che va scaricata da Google play per i dispositivi Android e da Apple Store per quelli iOS.
Dopo quanto sopra (installazione batterie e installazione app) procedere alla prima configurazione come segue:
* attivare la app per creare il proprio account inserendo mail e password e altre informazioni personali (nominativo indirizzo, citt) che a mio giudizio non sarebbero necessarie ma, purtroppo, sono obbligatorie. In questa fase possibile inserire anche ulteriori mail di contatti dalla rubrica dello smartphone/tablet per le eventuali notifiche di allarme. Dopo la creazione dell’account, Honeywell invia una mail per rendere effettivo, una volta confermata, l’account. Analoga procedura viene applicata anche agli ulteriori contatti individuati.
* selezionare nella app il dispositivo da accoppiare Bluetooth allo smartphone/tablet. La spia LED inizia a lampeggiare blu ad intermittenza e, una volta completato il pairing, il LED diventa blu fisso;
* a questo punto il LED cambia colore e diventa verde per la contestualizzazione del dispositivo nella rete Wi-Fi, tramite l’inserimento della password di rete.
La prima configurazione riuscita al primo colpo senza alcun problema. Nell’ambito della app, possibile modificare le soglie di tolleranza per temperatura e umidit, consultare gli allarmi inviati, modificare alcuni dati dell’account, etc.
E’ possibile aggiornare la frequenza di rilevazione di temperatura e umidit giornaliero, due volte al giorno, tre volte al giorno a scapito della durata della batteria rispettivamente tre anni, due anni, un anno.
Le frequenze sono fisse e non gestibili altrimenti e ci rappresenta una rigidit poco comprensibile, a prescindere dal consumo delle batterie.
Il prodotto di Honeywell rileva temperatura ed umidit dell’ambiente in cui posizionato, comparando le rilevazioni, con le soglie di allarme sia per l’umidit, sia per la temperatura e, con il cavo sonda, rileva perdite d’acqua. Qualora si verifichino gli eventi potenzialmente o certamente dannosi, tramite app, vengono inviati allarmi sonori e mail di notifica evento. Ovviamente affinch tutto funzioni nel luogo dove installeremo il nostro rilevatore deve essere presente una connessione Wi-Fi attiva.
TEST
Ho posizionato il sensore nel vano lavanderia e, per fare la prova, ho simulato una perdita d’acqua, distendendo il cavo sonda nel lavabo dopo averlo otturato e aprendo il rubinetto a filo. Quando l’acqua ha iniziato a riempire il fondo del lavabo, dopo circa 20 secondi partito l’allarme sonoro molto acuto e bene udibile anche a distanza, il LED ha cominciato a lampeggiare rosso e quasi immediatamente ho ricevuto la notifica di allarme sia sulla mail collegata al mio account, sia su quella del contatto ulteriore, selezionato all’apertura dell’account (mio figlio).
Ho riscontrato corrette anche le misurazioni di umidit e temperatura nell’ambiente, in cui ho posizionato il sensore.
CONCLUSIONI
Il sensore mi piaciuto per i seguenti motivi:
* facilit di installazione senza necessit di prese elettriche;
* facilit di contestualizzare il sensore in ambito BT e Wi-Fi;
* precisione delle rilevazioni;
* buone le funzioni della app al momento rilasciate;
* reattivit del sensore;
* allarme sonoro potente e acuto;
* velocit di notifica delle mail;
* pur nella sua sinteticit il manuale delle istruzioni molto curato chiaro, ben illustrato e multilingue.
Il sensore non mi piaciuto per i seguenti motivi:
* dati personali non necessari (es. indirizzo) per il funzionamento, ma richiesti obbligatoriamente nella app; una nota stonata che, spero, verr sanata al pi presto;
* la app dovrebbe avere sviluppate maggiori e pi complete funzioni, senza i vincoli nelle misurazioni di temperatura e umidita (giornaliere, ogni due giorni, ogni tre giorni).
* pur apprezzando la dotazione delle batterie, non capisco perch Honeywell non abbia optato per batterie ricaricabili via USB;
* la mancanza di un display LCD per l’immediata lettura di temperatura e umidit, sarebbe stato auspicabile anche in relazione al prezzo.
In ogni caso il rilevatore pi che valido in tutte le situazioni in cui devono essere controllate in modo preciso umidit e temperatura, come cantine o ambienti di stagionatura, attivando gli allarmi del caso e, soprattutto, evitare danni a seguito di perdite di acqua in ambienti particolari (es. lavatrice posizionata in un luogo con pavimentazione in parquet e riscaldamento a pavimento) soprattutto quando non si in casa.
Il prezzo di 63,92 (settembre 2017) valido in relazione alle funzioni e alla complessiva qualit che il brand assicura e assicurer nel tempo per questo prodotto e per altri della famiglia.
Finalmente possiamo stare tranquilli, il rilevatore di perdite d’acqua tiene la mano sul polso nella nostra casa.
Abbiamo pensato di montarlo nella lavanderia, accanto alla lavatrice.
Il rilevatore non ha alcun panello di controllo, ne display, ma lo si comanda tramite l’app che dobbiamo scaricare, pero senza utilizzo del wifi attiva l’allarme lo stesso.
Dopo aver scaricato l’app, bisogna creare l’account, collegare il dispositivo tramite il bluetooth, dopo di che inserire dei dati del nostro Wifi.
Da quel momento possiamo utilizzare anche l’app per controllare il nostro rilevatore.
Il rilevatore dotato di un sensore di temperatura, umidit e conducibilit.
Il cavo ha nella sua estremit gli elettrodi che rilevano l’acqua e l’allarme viene attivato all’instante.
Un cavo pu essere utilizzato solo in un area, ma possiamo acquistare gli altri cavi e collegarli tra di loro creando un area di copertura pi ampia.
I cavi si possono avvolgere sui tubi o mettere per terra.
Le misurazioni avvengono ogni minuto.
Ogni errore viene segnalato nell’immediato con una notifica (possiamo collegare diverse email a cui mandare le notifiche).
Ogni giorno l’app memorizza tutte le rilevazioni creando una cronologia quotidiana.
L’applicazione consente di personalizzare una zona comfort e di inviare la notifica quando si esce: la zona comfort di default 20-70% di umidit e la temperatura di 7 a 37 C.
Il dispositivo funziona benissimo ed offre ottime prestazioni.
Sara un po costoso, ma avendo una lavatrice datata preferisco tenere la mano sul polso ed evitare la fuoruscita d’acqua alla mia insaputa per non creare dei danni.
Per me validissimo prodotto.

Esta vez no son las luces inteligentes Philips Hue. En este caso, tenemos un detector de fugas de agua y congelacin WIFI. Conectado a nuestro telfono.
Y que tambin medir la temperatura del lugar y su humedad hasta un mximo de 3 veces al da. A su vez, estos datos los utiliza para hacer grficas de la temperatura y humedad media a lo largo del tiempo.
Este producto viene de una marca con una gran experiencia en domtica como es Honeywell y no decepciona.
En la caja nos encontramos el detector, con unas pilas incluidas que durarn ms de 1 ao, y un cable detector. Tanto cable como detector, sern capaces de avisar de una fuga de agua o si se congela, emitiendo un sonido de alta frecuencia y enviando una notificacin a nuestro Smartphone. A su vez, tambin podemos determinar a quin ms avisar en caso de fuga, para no perder tiempo en el caso de que nos encontremos de viaje. As tendremos nuestra casa cubierta de fugas en la caldera, bao, cocina, piscina y cualquier lado
Para ello nos descargaremos su app, registramos (si no nos registramos, no aparecer el dispositivo) y listo. En 5 minutos ya lo hemos configurado para siempre.
El dispositivo se puede alargar aadiendo cables. Cada uno de ellos de 1,2m y bastante caro.
En el caso de fuga, emite un sonido de 100db aprox que no parar hasta que abramos la App.
Ha funcionado bastante bien en los ensayos que he realizado. La primera vez tardo tan solo 10 segundos en detectar el agua y la segunda un poco ms. Unos 20 segundos. Funciona muy bien.
Es un producto muy especfico. Poca gente lo necesita pero sin duda es una solucin increble por parte de la marca.
Este aparato sirve para detectar agua y hacrnoslo saber.
Una forma de indicar que ha detectado agua es mediante un pitido bastante fuerte, que podemos escucharlo aunque estemos en otras habitaciones de la casa.
La otra de indicarlo es mediante su aplicacin en el movil. Me descargo la app (en mi caso Android) y conecto el detector al wifi de mi casa. Una vez hecho esto, cuando detecta agua, adems del pitido, se encarga de enviar avisos a mi mvil.
Esto es muy til cuando hay lugares en casa con posibilidades de que tenga escapes de agua. Tambin se podra poner si en mi lavadora hay una fuga de agua y quiero saber en qu momento del lavado ocurre esto, como indicativo de la avera que est sufriendo.
Lo he visto un mtodo fenomenal para ayudarme a solucionar problemas de agua en el hogar y evitar grandes catstrofes, o por lo menos reducir sus daos por actuar de inmediato.

Della Honeywell ho gia auto modo di testare l’ottimo termostato Lyric T6 Wifi. L’ho installato da mesi e finora ho beneficiato pienamente delle sue funzioni, non presentandosi mai alcun tipo di problema.
Attraverso l’applicazione Lyric installata su Lg G5, anche durante questa estate ho potuto rilevare in maniera precisa, la differenza di temperatura esistente tra l’abitazione e l’esterno. Ho specificato tale dato per rendere l’idea a chi legge, che siamo realmente di fronte a prodotti che fanno ci che promettono in maniera professionale.
Anche questo rilevatore di temperatura, di umidit e di presenza d’acqua si muove secondo tali parametri.
Per chi fosse alla ricerca di uno strumento realmente efficace , ne consiglio vivamente la spesa e, suggerisco di evitare palliativi a buon mercato che dimostrano la loro inefficacia soprattutto in caso di reale bisogno.
Chi intende acquistarlo, ne conosce perfettamente le ragioni sapendo dove collocarlo e per quali scopi.
Tenere d’occhio l’impianto idraulico della casa, soprattutto in quelle parti dove sono collocate utenze sensibili alle perdite d’acqua, risulta di vitale importanza soprattutto quando non si in casa per periodi piuttosto lunghi. Nel mio caso per paura di allagamenti vari, ho evitato di attivare l’impiantino d’irrigazione automatica del mio appartamento, con la conseguenza che quando sono tornato a casa le piante erano in grande sofferenza e molte di esse sono seccate irrimediabilmente. Aver avuto a disposizione prima Honeywell W1KS Rilevatore di perdite Acqua, mi avrebbe sicuramente risolto il problema. Sebbene in tali situazioni, l’apparecchio non possa intervenire chiudendo l’impianto generale, esso mi consente di allertare qualcuno della famiglia, rimasto in citt, e provvedere affinch la situazione non degeneri, creando inoltre costosi danni anche al condominio.
Ritengo utile l’apparecchio anche per chi vive in zone dove le temperature d’inverno sono piuttosto rigide, in quanto, attraverso il sensore di cui fornito, si riesce a comprendere quando l’acqua sta gelando nelle tubature, riuscendo a correre in tempo ai ripari.
Utilissimo anche per il box e/o il cantinato soprattutto d’inverno quando forte il pericolo allagamenti.
Riuscire ad intervenire in tempo, prima che accada l’irreparabile non cosa da poco e pu farci risparmiare un bel po’ di soldi evitandoci che l’auto o la moto venga sommersa dall’acqua
Anche per chi ha una cantina fatta di vini pregiati , l’apparecchio diventa un’ottima fonte di controllo dell’ambiente. Per non parlare di chi ad esempio svolge lavori artigianali con legname di alto pregio,come ad esempio ebanisti o liutai, dove il controllo del tasso di umidit diventa importantissimo ai fini della qualit del prodotto finale.
Interessante la soluzione dell’azienda che offre la possibilit d’installare quanti rilevatori si vuole gestendoli dalla stessa applicazione Lyric, adatta sia per piattaforma Android che Apple.
Come detto in precedenza, non ho avuto alcun problema di installazione e configurazione dell’apparecchio.
Senza neanche registrarlo sul sito, mi comparso nella schermata dei dispositivi da aggiungere. Seguendo le indicazioni del software passo passo per la sua connessione e configurazione in pochi passaggi divenuto operativo.
Ho fatto una prova al volo, per testarne la sua efficacia, versando acqua sul pavimento dove ho posizionato la sonda. Dopo pochi secondi la macchina ha segnalato acusticamente e tramite mail l’allarme. Avevo preparato anche un video a riguardo di qualche minuto, ma non sono riuscito a caricarlo in questa sezione.
Il rilievo dei valori quali la temperatura e il tasso di umidit molto preciso, in perfetta linea con quello del termostato a cui accennavo all’inizio di questa recensione.
Piuttosto che poggiarlo direttamente al suolo, ho preferito metterlo a parete, evitando in questo modo che qualsiasi intralcio al lavoro di pulizia dei pavimenti. In questo modo si evita che venga calpestato accidentalmente.
Il fissaggio a parete piuttosto semplice e non necessita della presenza di una presa elettrica essendo alimentato da 3 pile stilo.
Da quanto sperimentato finora tramite il suo utilizzo, lo ritengo un eccellente prodotto perch in grado di prevenire e/o arginare situazioni che, se non prese a tempo, possono diventare piuttosto dispendiose in termini economici.
Il suo utilizzo sarebbe stato perfetto se fosse riuscito anche ad intervenire sul impianto idrico, chiudendo il circuito. In quest’ultimo caso sia i suoi costi, che la complessit del prodotto sarebbe stato di ben altro livello.
Ne consiglio vivamente l’acquisto perch funziona in maniera ottimale.
Ensuite ds qu’une fuite est dtecte, on entend une lgre sirne et on reoit une notification sur le smartphone.
Dans la pratique, la synchronisation est rapide avec un iphone mais m’a pos quelques problmes. Je vous conseille de commencer par tlcharger l’application et ensuite d’insrer les piles. Sinon il faudra faire un reset du dtecteur car la demande de synchronisation n’est pas trop longue. Au dpart en lanant l’application, le dtecteur de fuite n’tait pas propos Il a fallu bien une minute avant que celui-ci apparaisse.
J’ai mis le dtecteur dans ma cave ct d’une pompe de relevage qui a dj dborde un certain nombre de fois depuis que nous l’avons. J’ai install le cble de dtection pour couvrir une plus grande superficie.
J’ai fait un test pour voir si l’appareil fonctionne correctement. Je l’ai donc un peu mouill. Celui-ci met une alerte que je ne trouve pas assez forte. Elle est utile si l’appareil n’est pas trop loin de vous mais plusieurs tages au dessus, on entend rien. De plus, l’appareil a mis plusieurs secondes avant de dtecter la fuite.
C’est donc l’application qui sert transmettre l’alerte via une notification, plus par un envoie d’un mail aux adresses que l’on a au pralablement indiques.
L’application permet ensuite de mettre le dtecteur en mode silencieux. On retrouve aussi la temprature et le taux d’humidit.
Pour l’instant, je suis assez satisfait de l’appareil et j’espre que celui-ci fonctionnera bien le jour o ma pompe de relevage aura des problmes.

I have been using this in several places where I have been doing some DIY plumbing. After doing the job I have installed this device and left it for a week, and I can monitor if I have a leaking joint without having to pull cupboards out every 5 minutes as I usually do in a paranoid panic that I am about to have a flood. It has allowed easy monitoring and given me a real peace of mind.
The unit is small and discrete. It is battery powered (claims batteries last for 3 years). It needs to hook into a Wi-Fi network and you need a smart phone. I used a generic Android phone and got it all hooked up not troubles. I was able to set the detection limits, and test it with small controlled drips of water. The alerts etc. came through perfectly. A really useful device, one that works well and is easy enough for a non-techie to get to grips with easily. 5 stars.
Il est dot d’un capteur de temprature, d’humidit et de conductivit (2 lectrodes l’arrire du boitier pour dtecter une fine couche de liquide sur le sol), mais il est possible d’utiliser des lectrodes dportes dans un cble de 1.2m: si la moindre portion de ce cble est mouille, l’alarme se dclenche.
Il est possible d’interconnecter plusieurs cbles entre eux pour augmenter la zone de couverture.
Les cbles peuvent courir sur le sol ou autour de tuyaux.
On peut galement utiliser le cble pour dtecter le dpassement d’un seuil de remplissage.
Le dtecteur est conu pour une utilisation en intrieur.
Utilis sans Wifi, seule la puissante alarme est active en cas de problme (eau dtecte, temprature en dessous de 0).
Toutefois, l’intrt de ce produit est qu’il est connect: un Smartphone Android ou iOS et un rseau Wifi sont ncessaires.
L’installation est simple partir d’Android: il faut tlcharger l’application Honeywell Lyric sur le store, crer un compte, puis imprativement quitter l’application et se reconnecter son compte pour voir apparaitre le dtecteur dans la liste des appareils disponibles.
Le paramtrage s’effectue via Bluetooth jusqu’ ce que la clef Wifi sont saisie manuellement: ensuite, le dtecteur communiquer via le wifi.
Les mesures s’effectuent toutes les 60 secondes et, en cas de problme, la notification est quasi instantane. Une autre notification est envoye lorsque le problme est rgl.
En revanche, l’historique des mesures (consultable via l’application) n’est envoye vers le serveur qu’une fois par jour. Il est possible d’effectuer la mise jour 2 ou 3 fois par jours, mais la dure de vie des piles passe de 3 2 et 1 an…
L’application permet de personnaliser une zone de confort et d’envoyer des notification lorsqu’on en sort: la zone de confort par dfaut est 20 70% d’humidit relative, et la temprature de 7 37C.
Elle permet galement de saisir une liste d’adresse email qui les notifications doivent tre envoye.
Si la connexion wifi est coupe (panne de courant, appareil en panne, porte insuffisante, etc…), l’application vous avertit.
Tout cela est trs bien fait.
L’initiative d’Honeywell de proposer de genre d’objets connects et compatibles IFTTT) est saluer, j’attends avec impatience le dtecteur de panne de conglateur.
Je conois que cet appareil est un peu cher, mais il fonctionne bien et je n’ai rien redire des produits Honeywell que j’utilise depuis des annes.
Si vous avez une machine laver capricieuse ou une cave sujette aux montes d’eau, ce produit unique est fait pour vous…
I gave this to the Resident Warlock to test. He reports it was easy to set up and seems a very good idea. Unfortunately he hasn’t been able to test it thoroughly as he hasn’t developed any leaks…
We have had issues by the kitchen sink/washing machine area a few times and it’s always the first place I go to check when I return from holidays. This smart little device + app will definitely make me feel less worried going forward. It’s really simple: insert the batteries, set up the device, connect and install the app on your phone, and that’s it. You can even transfer the warnings to friends and family if you’re going away on a long trip.
A nice little product that will definitely make me feel more comfortable when away.
First time I’ve used on of these devices and I have to say i’m impressed. follow the instructions carefully and it’s easy enough to set up, them monitor on your phone through an app. Great peace of mind, couldn’t really be simpler and, yes, it works! Well worth a look.
Our washing machine is kept in the garage in Braemar (the coldest village in the UK) so the chance of frozen pipes is high – having this detector is giving us peace of mind.
So easy to set up with connections to our iPhone – then plug in and voila!
We are also impressed that you can get the app to contact a friend – luckily we have a great neighbour so even we are away we have peace of mind.
We will probably buy another of these to have under the boiler – my son has recently reminded my of the horror of a leaking boiler and the damage that can be done – as he suffered this last weekend.

This is a small electronic sensor that, combined with a mobile phone app, can be installed in your home or garage in order to alert you should there be a leaky pipe that you are unaware of. The notification of the leak is sent to your phone, so wherever you are you are able to be notified if there is a leakage – at the very point it happens. The main unit is powered with AA batteries, so if you are relying on this in a place you don’t often check – such as in tucked away corner of a garage, don’t forget to do an annual check on the batteries otherwise the early warning system will fall flat. The app is free to download to your phone, I have only tried the Android version, but syncing the sensor up is a straightforward process and the instructions are pretty clear. Once the sensor is calibrated, then you need do nothing but wait for a notification, but you can test it easily enough by dropping water on it. The alarm is pretty loud and I could hear it from outside my garage when it went off. The notification to my phone followed shortly. Having several of these around the house could be useful, but might work out expensive, so maybe be best kept to your problem areas or places where a leak/burst pipe could cause a lot of damage.
The Honeywell Lyric Water Leak & Freeze Detector (Model: W1KS) is a handy battery powered piece of equipment that notifies you when it detects a leak, humidity or freezing in a particular area.
The detector runs off three AA batteries (which come included). Set up is incredibly quick and easy. You just plug in the detector, and then run through the quick-start step-by-step guide via your smart phone (or equivalent). We set ours up on my iPhone 6 and it literally took about three minutes from start to finish.
The Honeywell App is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate. At just the touch of a button you can change the settings and detection levels on the device.
We wrapped the sensor cable around some of the piping under our kitchen sink and then left the end to rest on the base of the cupboard. This is an area that we suspect could be prone to slight leakage.
It does therefore offer peace of mind and due to the simplicity of the installation process, is completely hassle free.
When the alarm goes off (we tried this out) it’s loud and obvious, and also delivers an email alert which is very handy should you be out of the house at the time.

The Honeywell W1KS Lyric Wi Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector comes with one detector and 1.2m of sensing cable. Also supplied are mounting screws, rawl plug and 3 x AA batteries (which are required for the detecting unit).
This detector connects wirelessly to your mobile phone and is able to send you alarms warnings when the detector detects even just a small drip in the area you are monitoring. You do need to download the ‘Lyric’ app for this to work.
Honeywell are full of good ideas and this is another one. We have a utility room behind our house where we house our washing machine and tumble dryer. Due to the fact that we are a large foster family of eight (all the children being teenagers) we get through three loads of washing, every single day and our washing machines do not last very long and on occasions have sprung a leak in fact one time it was a very costly leak causing us to claim on our house and building insurance.
Needless to say, we have placed our detector and cable right by the washing machine and hopefully we will be able to divert such a thing happening again. It is an expensive gadget but if it works it would be worth it.
This is a good bit of kit to have if you’re worried about leaks or flooding. You have to download an app to use it with. Mine is for an iPhone. It is good at detecting water – I did a trial run and it does work. But it does use up a lot of juice on my phone so that’s a bit of a negative.
In the box you get a sensor box powered by three AA batteries (supplied), a sensor cable, instructions and mounting hardware. Wi-Fi set up was a bit hit and miss with connection being achieved. Battery life is claimed to be up to 3 years.
The device is managed by the well designed Honeywell Lyric App (for Android and IOS only) which can be set up to inform you and/or other people of any alerts generated by the unit. The immediate impression is of a well made product and supporting app.
My overall impression is positive, however, these are issues I’d like clarified –
– Do the two metal sensors at the rear of the device also detect say, a small pool of water? – I think the answer is yes the unit does not rely solely on the sensor cable.
– Although the unit detects a change in humidity wouldn’t any leak have to be quite severe to trigger this? You can change the trigger settings in the app,
– How many units would you need to cover an average house? – I can think of at least five critical areas in my 4 bed house where leaks/freezes could happen – eg. water main entry, toilet cisterns, bath/shower inlet/outlets, hot water cylinder plus roof tank and associated piping. You can extend the supplied sensor cable but extending that is expensive and then defeats the idea of a wireless system. Currently the price of additional sensor units seems steep especially as they only come with a sensor cable.
The device does work well at a specific location and the siren is loud enough plus the emails alerts will be handy in that they can be sent to someone who is likely to be close to your home even if you’re on the other side of the world. My main reservation would be how comprehensive coverage of the house could be with even a couple of units, otherwise, it does what it claims.
The 1.2 Metre cable is a decent length, you basically put the sensor where water might likely appear, with the cable being useful for hard to reach areas or if you’d prefer to hide it – i’ve gone to the effort to put it in the floorboard under the bath as if this leaks it’s my biggest expense, but it is very small and compact and could go almost anywhere – under the sink, under the bath, washing machine, fridge, anything that’s a risk basically. I quite like the idea of setting it up by an appliance if I was going away for a long period of time.
So the device itself requires batteries (included) and will alert you with a siren regardless of whether you use there app or not, but the app is pretty good. ‘Lyric’, downloadable from the app store, Google Play or direct from the Honeywell website, requires a fair bit of setup including signing up, proximity matching with the sensor, and adding people and notifications.
In terms of price, it does seem expensive for a gadget but then, it’s a lot cheaper than getting a ceiling or floor replaced. And it does work fluidly once you’ve got the whole thing set up, with no problems so far. I’ve used Honeywell central heating products before and they’ve lasted the years that they should, as a company they seem very good. I am pleased with what this product can do.
This is basically a peace of mind contraption. I found it useful for placing under the water tank in the loft, where leaks and freezing can occur. It detects both.
The setting up process is described here in some detail, so you know what you are letting yourself in for. It is not a simple plug and play device. It is slightly more complex, but still reasonably straightforward. To use the detector it is necessary first to download the free Lyric app from the Honeywell web site, or App Store or Google Play. It is easy and quick to download. The next step is launching the app and adding a “new device”.
Next insert the 3 AA size Alkaline batteries into the detector itself. The batteries are included in the box and are claimed to last for 3 years. A grey flexible rubber cover is pulled off from the back, which opens the battery compartment, into which the batteries have to be inserted correctly. Once inserted a single bleep is sounded and a small blue flashing LED light appears on the front. Replace the cover, make sure you have it the right way round, and connect up the device to a Wi-Fi connection. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile. To connect, it is necessary to name the location of the detector, and get it paired up with the app. The detector tells you if you have successfully connected everything up by sounding a bleep and the blue mini LED light turns solid blue. There are a few other things to do to complete the connection give the detector a name, choose the Wi-Fi network, enter your Wi-Fi password, and follow the instructions to configure the detector. Next, you have to set the low and high levels of humidity and the temperature warnings required. Also the identity the people you want to be notified when the alarm goes off. These settings can be changed at any time in the future, if you so desire. A cable sensor comes with the detector and this plugs in to the bottom of the detector, after a small plastic protective plug has been removed. The Cable sensor is optional, and it doesn’t have to be connected, since the device will work without it. OK, at last you are ready to go. Place the detector wherever you want. It can go on the floor, wrapped around pipes, under an appliance such as a washing machine, or even be mounted on a wall, with a simple fixing kit included in the box.
When a leak is detected, the siren alarm sounds. It is not ear-piercing, but is loud enough to be heard some distance away. There is a delay of 1 minute between the water leaking and the detector sounding the siren. It will send a notification to you via your mobile. If you are worried about the power drain on your mobile battery, you don’t have to have it connected, it will still work and sound the alarm in the house, but simply not send you a message.
There is a Cable Sensor included which is designed to wrap around pipes etc which are at risk. The cable sensor is only 1.2 metres in length. Only one cable comes in the box. Additional cables can be purchased on line and join together to extend the detector in a straight line, up to 150 metres is possible. Presently they cost 17.99 for a single 1.2 m length. The full 150 metres would cost 125 x 18 = 2250 wow !! Fairly impractical you would agree?
As this is summer time, I tested the detector in two ways. . Splashing a few drops of water on the cable sensor and it worked well, quick and decisive. Then, I placed it in the freezer to see if it would work as a frost detector… and it worked well., triggering the siren Honeywell have a good reputation and this device doesn’t let them down, it is well made and looks elegant, compact and unobtrusive.. It is quite a high price, but should last for many years.
Die iOS-App Lyric” (Vers. 3.5.0) erlaubt die Installation von Gerten und deren Verwaltung, vorerst ist aber eine wichtige Hrde zu berwinden. Der W1KS WLAN Wasser- und Frostmelder” ist in der bersicht nmlich nicht zu finden, nur der Lyric T6 Raumthermostat” (mit u. ohne Kabel) bzw. die Lyric T1 berwachungskamera”. Man muss leider zwingend ein Kundenkonto erffnen, erst dann wird man fndig Nun gut, mit einer fr solche Zwecke geeigneten E-Mail-Adresse und einem Kennwort habe ich das also auch hinter mich gebracht. Reale, eigene Daten gebe ich ansonsten nicht preis.
Der eigentliche Zweck dieses WLAN-Melders ist es natrlich, grds. berall alle Daten abrufen zu knnen und bei Bedarf gewarnt zu werden. Akustisch geht das vor Ort laut genug, ansonsten ggf. ber die App. Die tagesaktuellen Luftfeuchtigkeits- und Temperaturdaten werden bis zu 3x tglich bermittelt, das Ganze kann optisch noch als 30 Tage-Trend angeschaut werden. Drei Batterien (Typ AA) sind fr den Betrieb brigens beigefgt.
Solch eine Anschaffung ist aber nicht jedermans Sache, denn nur mittels Internet ist ein echter Mehrwert vorhanden. Auerdem verwende ich aktuell zwei batteriebetriebene Wasserwarnmelder, die deutlich gnstiger sind und auch ohne App vor Ort funktionieren.
Ich vergebe aktuell 4 Punkte, da man das Produkt wie versprochen als komfortablen Wasserwarnmelder mit App verwenden kann, was insbesondere mit dem beigefgten 1,2 m langen Kabelsensor testweise mit einer gewissen Verzgerung auch funktioniert hat. Ob das Gert ausreichend frosttauglich ist, kann ich aktuell im Sommer nicht sinnvoll berprfen, das Gefrierfach unseres Khlschranks lasse ich dabei auen vor 😉
Once it is set up the Water Leak detector reports back regularly and you get a little graph on the Lyric app.
I put the water detector on to a damp plate to see how it worked. It shrieked and I was sent an email and the Lyric app also notified me. I dried it off and I got ‘its okay’ messages.
Why not 5 stars? Ever since I installed the Lyric app, my phone has been running out of power faster than ever before. I had no power at all by 3pm today. I powered up to approx 100% 6 hours ago and I’m down to 59%. I’m using an Android and the battery report was the Lyric app was using 53% of the power and is now using 48%. I’m not sure I have to have the Lyric app installed now the detector is connected to my router but it looks like it has useful features than would be of benefit. Hopefully the next version will be less power hungry.
Der ” Lyric WLAN Wasser – und Frostmelder ” von ” Honeywell ” wird , samt Zubehr , in einem stabilen Karton geliefert.
Mittels einer sehr guten Beschreibung , funktioniert die Inbetriebnahme schnell und unkompliziert.
Zunchst wird die kostenlose Lyric – App heruntergeladen , anschlieend der Melder konfiguriert und aufgestellt.
Da der Melder mittels Batterien funktioniert , die im Lieferumfang enthalten sind , kann das Gert flexibel platziert werden
Das Gert kann nun entweder hingelegt oder , per Dbel und Schraube , an der Wand befestigt werden.
Nach Bedarf , kann ein Kabelsensor , der auch schon vorhanden ist , installiert werden.
Bei allen durchgefhrten Tests reagierte der Melder innerhalb von etwa 30 – 40 Sekunden.
Der Warnton am Gert ist sehr laut und somit gut zu hren.
Auch die Warnung per Smartphone funktionierte einwandfrei.
Das Gert warnt bei undichten Stellen , Frostschden und zu hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit.
Ich bin begeistert und finde , die Anschaffung eines solchen Gertes , ist auf jeden Fall lohnenswert.
Nach der unabwendbaren Anmeldung (zur Datensparsamkeit weiter unten mehr) erscheint erst jetzt der “Honeywell Lyric WLAN Wasser- und Frostmelder” in der Liste der Gerte. Die Kopplung funktioniert mit Blauzahn (das muss zumindest temporr am Mobilgert aktiviert sein). Die restliche Einrichtung ist nahezu selbsterklrend.
Als uerst positiv empfinde ich die sehr hohe Reichweite zwischen Router und Melder! Wo verschiedene andere WLAN-Gerte am Ende ihrer Reichweite sind, funktioniert der Melder immer noch problemlos. Im Weiteren ging es um das Ausprobieren von Reaktion und Geschwindigkeit. Eine Wasserschadensmeldung bentigt im schlechtesten Fall 1 Minute (so steht es auch in der Anleitung), wird per Sirene und zgig per App (push) und E-Mail gemeldet. Offenbar werden die Sensor-Eingnge nicht permanent, sondern zeitlich grozgig getaktet abgefragt, um letztlich Batterien zu sparen. Das ist halt der Vor- und Nachteil dieses Gertes im Allgemeinen. Unabhngiger Batteriebetrieb zwingt zu solchen Manahmen. Andererseits wird kein 24 Std. Standby per Netzteil aus der Steckdose gesaugt und die Aufstellung ist so flexibler. Noch deutlich langsamer ist die Reaktion auf Temperatur und Luftfeuchte, wohl mglich, weil die Sensoren selber so viel Zeit bentigen. In meinen Testfllen locker 15 Minuten!
Die Sirene ist laut, aber nicht besonders aufdringlich und funktioniert auch vllig unabhngig von WLAN! Sie wird nur beim Detektieren von Wasser ausgelst und nicht beim berschreiten von (einstellbaren) Temperatur- und Luftfeuchtebereichen. Hierbei wird lediglich per App und E-Mail informiert. Weitere Benutzer lassen sich hinzufgen und so knnen auch andere Personen – z.B. bei Abwesenheit im Urlaub – benachrichtigt werden.
Die Android-App hinterlsst insgesamt einen unfertigen Eindruck. Neben einigen englischen Begriffen, werden die Uhrzeiten zwar korrekt, aber mit AM / PM angezeigt, trotz deutscher Lokalisierung. Die Aktualisierungsfrequenz von Temperatur und Luftfeuchte kann zwischen 1 bis 3 Mal pro Tag umgestellt werden, wobei letzteres den Batteriebetrieb von 3 Jahren auf 1 Jahr verkrzt. Die “Auswertung” auf der App ist eher drftig. Gut zu wissen: Die Aktualisierungsfrequenz hat keinen Einfluss auf die Geschwindigkeit der Alarmmeldungen!
Der erweiterbare Kabelsensor ist ausschlielich zur Detektion von Wasser gedacht. Er hat leider keinen weiteren Temperatursensor, was ich sinnvoll erachtet htte.
Insgesamt macht das Gert selbst einen ordentlichen Eindruck, nur die App lsst zu wnschen ber. Wohlgemerkt, mit Datum und Stand dieser Rezension. Sicherlich werden noch Verbesserungen einflieen.
Wer nicht scharf darauf ist seine Daten berall zu verbreiten, blockiert beim Einrichten den Standortzugriff (GPS), besorgt sich eine “Wegwerf-E-Mail-Adresse” und ist auch ansonsten beim Ausfllen kreativ. 😉
Tipp: Wer ber eine halbwegs aktuelle Fritz!Box verfgt und “Internet of Things” (IoT) Gerten nicht ber den Weg traut, fr den bietet sich folgende Lsung an: Den WLAN-Gastzugang dauerhaft aktivieren und “Name des Gastfunknetzes”, sowie “WLAN-Netzwerkschlssel” neu einrichten und IoT-Gerte dort anmelden. Die Option “Die mit dem Gastzugang verbundenen WLAN-Gerte drfen untereinander kommunizieren” kann in den meisten Fllen zudem deaktiviert sein! – Unabhngig von dieser Option ist der Gastzugang vollkommen getrennt vom brigen WLAN! Somit knnen die hier angemeldeten Gerte nicht im “vertrauensvollen” brigen heimischen Netzwerk mitmischen. Denn im Allgemeinen – nicht hier im Speziellen – drften IoT-Gerte wohl kaum die notwendige Firmware-Pflege ber den zu erwartenden Nutzungszeitraum erfahren, um sicher im Netz zu sein.
Die Installation der App war ein Kinderspiel. Nachdem man sich dann bei Honeywell angemeldet (E-Mail und Passwort) hat, konnte man das Gert neu hinzufgen. Dann mssen rckseitig die Batterien (im Lieferumfang enthalten) eingelegt werden. Das Koppeln per Bluetooth funktionierte und das Anmelden im WLAN Netz ebenso problemlos. Nach der Besttigung der Aktivierungsmail konnte das Gert genutzt werden.
Es soll unseren Heizungs-/Waschkeller auf Wasserschden berwachen. Noch das Kabel in die Sensorbuchse gesteckt und dann konnte die berwachung starten. Es ging gleich der Alarm los, obwohl alles rundherum trocken war. Ich schnell die Batterie raus, denn der Lrm ist fast zu vergleichen mit einem Rauchmelder. Man kann den Alarm aber auch ber die App ausschalten. Das kann dann bis zu einer Minute dauern. Hier sollte man aber nicht vergessen, diesen wieder einzuschalten, sonst gibt es beim nchsten Mal einen stummen Alarm.
Die berwachung der App funktioniert tadellos, sofern die Verbindung steht. Sollte die Verbindung ber WLAN unterbrochen sein, meldet sich das Handy.
Raumtemperatur und Luftfeuchte werden von dem zu berwachenden Raum angezeigt. Sobald ein Alarm ertnt, wird er auch per Mail gesendet.
So nun habe ich den Sensor mal auf den Zahn gefhlt. Mehrere Tests ergaben, dass nach ca. 30 Sekunden der Alarm am Gert losging. Kurze Zeit spter am Handy und dann per Mail. Ich finde, das ist in Ordnung.
Was gibt es noch zu erwhnen. Es gibt bei der App eine Batteriestandsanzeige. Bei mir ist der Wchter so eingestellt, dass die Batterien 3 Jahre halten.
Der Wchter funktioniert auch problemlos ohne App und Smartphone. Es ist nur mehr Komfort, den man sich damit gnnt.
Ich bin mit de- WLAN Wasser- und Frostmelder zufrieden. Sicher wird die Zeit zeigen, wie genau und zuverlssig er arbeitet.
