The product works out, not so good for cold weather (better to get something warmer).

Well they didn’t smell like leather, in fact they stank the house out when I unpacked them. Can’t comment on their durability yet. The fit was good but the fingers were a little too long. Generally for the price, no complaints. Bought for the occasional short ride on my XV535.

I really wasn’t sure what I expected to receive, going off the cheap price of these gloves compared to others. But I decided to go for them, down to the good reviews from the Vine people. And I must say, I’m really quite shocked. In my opinion, they really are as good as they appear to be.

The quality of the leather is awesome, and they are nice and soft to the touch. Double stitching around the needed areas will help stop them from tearing. The knuckle protectors seem nice and strong, and are padded underneath for extra comfort and impact resistance. Nice and padded all around inside too.

As for the touchscreen feature, they are a bit hit n’ miss whether they work or not. But to be honest, I would have taken my gloves off to use my phone regardless. But, I can imagine them being useful if you need to swipe or press a button on a satnav or phone on a holder etc.

Overall, they feel as if they should be worth at least double the price of what they are going for (15.97 at the time of this review – May 2022).

I hope I never have to test the abrasion/impact resistance but, I get the impression that they’ll do a great job if/when the time comes.

I was expecting slightly shoddy quality due to the price, but, they really are brilliant.

The sizing is also true-to-size. Going off the sizing chart that’s within the pictures (not mine, the ones on the listing) Fit exactly to my size.

    Blown away

These motorbike gloves are made of real leather and are designed very well. The stitching throughout is consistent and very neat. There is a velcro wrist strap to keep the gloves securely in place. I am reviewing size M and they are a perfect fit for me. Some of the features are particularly useful – there is a hard moulded knuckle protector and extra padding over the knuckles of the thumb. The thumb and forefinger also have material at the tips of the digits that allow you to use touchscreens. Overall the gloves are of high quality and feature-packed for the price.

These run good quality sturdy gloves, which belie their under 15 price tag. They are well made and offer good protection, especially in the knuckle area.

Size wise I’d say they are spot on. We ordered a medium and they fit well. The gloves are comfy to wear, offer warmth as well as protection, are easy to take on and off, and the two touch sensitive tips are a nice bonus if needed. All in all these are great gloves at an affordable price that also look good too.

A good pair of water resistant gloves aimed at motorcycle use, that is priced quite fairly. They come available in three sizes: Small, medium, and large. The price changes depending on the size.

I gave these to my husband as he is an ardent motorcyclist/biker. He says that they are quite comfortable and that the size fits him well.

He likes the touch sensitive areas (index finger and thumb only) that allows him to use a phone, though he rarely does. The quality is alright for the price and it is definitely water resistant.

All in all, he finds it a solid deal for the price and has no complaints about it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs a budget pair of gloves for motorbike they are really good. I like double stitching for extra durability on palm of the hand. In case of slide there is less chance material will fall apart. Same when comes to extra reinforcing around fingers. In general you can tell they did amazing job finishing them gloves, all stitching look nest and tidy.

Leather is very smooth and actually very comfortable on hand. From new they are not stiff, full movement and comfortable grip on throttle as well brake and clutch lever. Knuckle protection is removable and feels safe enough to protect in case of accident.

Finger touchscreen adaptive material surprisingly work very well. My more expensive gloves which declares they work with smartphone, where actually it doesn’t. Gloves from SAGA delivers what they promise. Big plus for that. These are really fantastic gloves for this price.

Superb gloves for motorbike, safe and durable

Brother loves these for riding home from work at night. easily keep his hands worm without compromising on dexterity so he has no issues gripping his breaks. the gloves are also relatively waterproof as well and do well for light to medium shower’s.

These are wearing well so far with no fraying or loose seems.

Really good fit and comfortable to wear. The tips of the thumb and finger allow use of the mobile which is a bonus. Really good knuckle protection although I haven’t and hope to never test properly but it sits comfortably over the knuckle as it should and feels very sturdy. For a budget pair of gloves I’m very surprised and would definitely buy these if I needed another pair. In fact, my mate tried these on and ordered a pair himself. Very happy with them.

    Good fit and comfy

These gloves looked really high quality and they look like leather which is really nice and they have a nice design. They keep the wind out which is really good and they keep your hands warm as well which is really good. They fit well and are really comfortable, the wrist area is adjustable and can be tightened or loosened which is good and up to you. They are priced well and I highly recommend them.

Great quality leather gloves. Well stitched with no loose ends or faults. Very comfortable to wear and a great shape and fit.
Hardened plastic protection on the knuckle does not press on the back of the hand and remains well placed inside a small ‘pocket’ on the back
Very pleased with them so far.

    Great quality.

These gloves are really nice, they are warm. They were acquired for my boyfriend who uses a manual wheelchair. So he needs gloves to protect his hands. He also needs to keep his hands warm in winter and these are perfect for this. My boyfriend is an ex motor cyclist and he says that these would be perfect for keeping your hands warm and protected on a motor bike.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI can’t believe a pair of full grain leather gloves for the price. A previous reviewer had doubts as to whether they are leather; as a qualified footwear technologist I can assure you they are and the visible hair follicles point toward goatskin.

At first I thought they were too tight, but having put them on and flexed my fists a few times the supple leather fitted my hands nicely.

They are well stitched, have knuckle protection, a clip to keep them together, a Velcro strap on the wrists to keep them tight.

    The backs have strange pocket.

There is a smart phone facility on the thumb and index finger. I have tested numerous gloves with this feature and these are no better and no worse than the others. It is OK for swiping and so on, but is not accurate enough for texting.

    Supple, full grain leather gloves

A nice pair of ambidextrous motorbike gloves in soft black leather. Finger tip touch for mobile phones is a handy extra. Extra knuckle protection too. A well fitting pair of gloves at a good price

These are nice quality gloves and a good fit . I would say they are true to size and very comfortable . They are padded and protective but still flexible made of soft leather so easy to grip and manoeuvre controls while riding.

The L size is perfect. The gloves are much more substantial than I expected and will be great when I want warm hands in winter. The pads on index finger and thumb just about work but I doubt I’ll use them much. For a start they do’t, of course, get past my phone’s fingerprint check. But I expect to be using these in cold weather for many years to come. They are good value too.

    Super tough and sma

I really liked these out of the bag.

I take a large glove as a rule, these are specc’d as large and fit perfectly. The leather is soft and comfortable, and the riding protection at the knuckles etc is not intrusive.
The gloves are properly sized and extend around the wrist, and are attached with Velcro straps.

At this price point I don’t have great expectations – but for a top price of 15 these are pretty okay.

    Great comfortable fit.

SAGA sports goatskin leather short motorcycle gloves have a Velcro fastener on the cuffs and are a lightweight summer riding glove. They are quite supple and have armoured knuckles and palm reinforcements .

They are quite grippy but allow good movement for riding. I found the Velcro adjusters on the wrist did not tighten as much as I would have liked for a really secure fit and there is no way to alter them, that’s the only downside for me. Good value, summer gloves.

    Good Value.

For the price of these (13.97 for medium as I write this) I was not expecting much. My experience as a relatively new rider has been that every bit of kit from boots and trousers to gloves and helmets costs a lot more than you would expect so I was sceptical about these but they are actually not bad at all.

I will stick with my heavier gauntlet-type gloves in the winter (and maybe move up to flashy heated gloves at some point) but these are fine for summer use or as a spare pair for pillion riders. If I had wind guards on my handlebars then these might even be OK on colder days.

I could not find a size chart for these so guessed at a M because I don’t have massive hands and they fit pretty well, with a little bit of room at the ends of the fingers. I’m even wondering whether I could have got away with S.

I particularly like the bit of extra padding on the palm where I do get a bit sore – maybe as a new rider I am clinging on too hard?

This are an absolute bargain for leather motorcycle gloves. Beautifully made and they fit like…….a glove! Honestly these would be cheap at twice the price. I would think they are not quite warm enough for winter, but for spring onwards these are perfect. Good grip and reinforced in all the right places.

These were ordered in maybe a size up to normal in case the usual suze was too small. They are a little loose but for summer it us better than having them too snug as its easy to get sweaty otherwise. I would say they are therefore a good accurate sizing.

The gloves feel very flexible with the upper knuckle protection and the leather giving the confidence of some hand protection and are comfy and I highly recommend them for summer motorbiking.

These gloves arrived packaged in a good quality storage pouch with a Velcro fastener.

I wasn’t expecting much at this price (14.97) but these really are very good gloves.

I’ve been looking for some new black leather bike gloves that had some protection but didn’t want a pair that looked like ‘combat’ gloves. These are much more plain looking and fit the bill perfectly.

I have fairly large hands and normally take an XL in gloves but ordered the XXL to be on the safe side and these fit well. The XL probably would have fitted but would have been quite snug and these have just enough room for a thin pair of liner gloves underneath.

They appear well made, have knuckle armour and have a double layer of leather down the outside of the little finger and on the palms for protection. There is also extra padding on the thumb and a handy clip to attach them together. The Velcro straps at the wrists are secure and leave enough room to wear a watch underneath if desired. The lining is quite thick and of good quality and there is a flap on the back of the hand for ventilation.

There are touch screen pads on both index fingers and thumbs. These work but are clumsy as the gloves are thick. You won’t be sending text messages whilst wearing these but enough to tap a satnav screen or swipe a phone.

I haven’t had these gloves long enough to comment on long term durability or how warm they are on really cold days, but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.

I’m amazed at the quality and how good these gloves are given the price and can’t really find any fault with them, so 5 stars.

    Outstanding Quality for the Price!

They have a great design, are of good quality material, and look great. The only one detail is the fit. I would say that the gloves are “true to fit”. As mentioned on a previous review, you can compare the fit to those disposable latex gloves. Now, the only problem is that means a perfect fit … for a glove that is more sturdy and less flexible than a latex glove, it can have certain implications.
