he camera quality is good, it has a good distance for motion detection and night vision is respectable. we did return them because we decided a wireless camera would be more beneficial, having them wired in was a bit of a pain for us in where we wanted to put them.
Only been using for a few days but so far very happy with the product.
Tricky to set up via wifi so used the ethernet cable into my router.
Now works on wifi fine.

Its very good,for the money you pay its amazing buuuuut motion sensor record isn’t very long, like between 10-15seconds unless you pay for cloud storage.
I brought 2 of these outdoor WiFi camera’s and at first I found it difficult to connect which I found later that I needed to change my router from 5 to 2.4 and then they both worked fine. The quality is very very good night and day with sound. I have recommended these to my friends.

It only runs for a few seconds when it sees movement or you have to have a cloud account to see more. Picture quality is clear ..
System was simple to put up – the app is easy to use – motion sensors are super effectie they pick up everything. Camera can cover a large area and the picture is perfect. The speaker and the alarm that you can sound is very useful especially when you have nightmare neighbours like us!

Great sturdy camera and so easy to set up and use. I wouldn’t set up the siren alarm for the motion detector tho as it was going off every minute or so with the wind but it is a good idea to have it there as a deterrent should you need it. I’ll definitely be buying another one
Very easy to setup and get going. Good value for money
Take a while to set up at frist but mainly think that was due to my own stupidly. Camera works great, fantastic image quality and records every time there is some motion detected. Yesterday a fly set off the motion detection so definitely sensitive enough. Great value for money. Feel safe and put my mind at ease five

Brilliant, covers my whole garden and sounds alarm on demand which is added bonus the voice speaker is very clear too long 3mtr cable too so just fed through my window and it’s slim wire so window closes too

This camera is doing all it promised at this early stage. I’ve had it a week, wired it to WiFi etc and it was straightforward.
Now the bad – connectivity. I’ve used a number of exotic smart home devices, and am well aware they can be tricky to set up. This one requires a 2.4Ghz network only, which isnt uncommon for this sort of thing, so I disabled 5ghz temporarily while setting up on my Eero network.
Unfortunately it really doesn’t want to play. It connects to my network – I can see it’s online – but in the app it just refuses to ‘register with the cloud’. It works over ethernet, and i’ve tried connecting over ethernet then switching to wifi, which works until you restart.
Also I think the design of the cabling is weird. It has a bundle of three fat cables that, if you want to route through a wall, requires a hole over an inch wide. If the cable was detachable it would be a lot smaller. This means (unless im missing something) that this small camera will have a big bunch of cables dangling behind it. Seems a strange choice from a security point of view when one of these cables has a ‘reset’ button on it that can be pressed by anyone.
Update: after lengthy troubleshooting with a very helpful Septekon support person I’ve been able to get the camera connected and stable. Not really sure the issue was but I now have the camera installed and working as it should so I’m upgrading my two star review to a four – one star knocked off because I still have misgivings about the wiring arrangement.

Bought 2 I’m now after a 3rd, perfect day and night and it’s sensitive to communicate,.my horsss can hear me and I can watch them.and record any vids
Unlike my nest cams, these stay connected due to having an antenna. Nest cams are constantly dropping out.
It works well but to see anything but live or the last 10 sec you need to pay 70 a year for it to save any anything.
I’ve put this at the front on my drive and it clear and works grea

I have had it running for a week nearly without any problems so far!
I haven’t tried the motion sensor as I bought it to watch a mare that is due to foal and don’t want it letting me know every time the horse turns around! Good all round visibility and very good night vision. A good camera for a reasonable price.

This is my second camera, I had to return it as it wouldn’t connect to WiFi, I contacted Amazon and was forwarded to the supplier who were really really helpful and without asking I was sent out a replacement which came the next day, this one was fantastic, set up was a breeze, connected to WiFi straight away and picture quality is so sharp,for the money a cracking camera,easy to put up on property, bought as a second camera and not disappointed at all
These cameras have great picture and night vision but I’m having a lot of problems with errors with the sd memory cards tried 3 different branded sd cards they go for a few days then get error message about the sd cards so have to keep going to take them back down to fix the memory cards so will have to look for another camera because of all the errors not reliable

It’s difficult to connect to wifi and I’m having to use the Ethernet cable so not ideal. Another thing is the video stops being recorded if I exit the app, so if I need it on during the night I have to leave my device on while charging the whole time.
I am happy with the view and night vision on the app though! The motion detection is pretty good too, however sometimes it picks up random cars over people. You’re able to see in detail too, so I’m quite happy with it anyway for the price!

Amazon refunded with no problems as camera wouldn’t stay connected to Wi-Fi. Septekon customer services kindly offered to replace for free as they believed the original camera was faulty. Only been a few days but already the new camera is working faster and is more reliable than the original. Excellent communication throughout and happy with replacement camera.thank you Septekon.
Picture quality was good when it was working but unfortunately I had to return as it was offline more than it was on. Kept having to completely reset which was a real pain. All other Wi-Fi camera’s working so think the camera had a problem staying connected to my Wi-Fi.
The notifications can get annoying but it’s doing it’s job, can see perfect on the camera and good sound too.
For the price I payed I didnt hold much hope on quality, buy i was wrong its well worth 30! Sound is great, so.simple to set up and use. I feel safer having the camera.

The camera was not easy to set up, took several attempts using the ‘quick method’ the hardware instructions were not great took a bit of guessing.
However what got it a 2 star rating is the app connectivity both my phone and the camera has very good wifi connection but the app will not always connect, or is slow in doing so. It ‘lost the camera’ at one stage.
Update – the app / camera software has been updated and connection issues are no longer obvious

is nice and simple to use with the option of adding more cameras. Would recommend a large capacity memory card unless you want to pay a subscription for cloud storage. Only 2 complaints which really don’t affect much.
1. As far as I can tell it will only record when it detects motion ( I can’t find anything in the app to record continuously). The motion detection sensitivity can be altered along with the detection area.
2. The leads that come out of the back of the unit are very short (about 5-6″ and they are for power, ethernet cable and another cable with a reset button on it). I installed mine on the underside of the soffet board and run the cables into attic for the power. These cables are then inaccessible as they are in the eaves unless you pull them back through from the outside.
Very good camera ! Clear vision both day and night. You card put an sd card in a slot behind the speaker panel but yet to know what the difference is having it there was hoping to record motion for long then 10 second stints with out subscription to cloud

Happy with purchase, works very well and being able to monitor the property from my mobile phone, whist nobody is home, is an added benefit. I have found that occasionally the motion sensor can be slightly delayed.
Arrived perfectly packed, with a screwdriver etc. Took some time, and several attempts to connect to wi-fi.
but when the modern connected to 2.4 it worked perfectly. Set it up in a window, let it run overnight and then fixed it in its final position next day. Connected up instantly, and can easily view on my phone any time anywhere.
Easy to set up. Really impressed with the quality of the images.Also excellent customer service, was contacted and asked if we had any questions that needed answered with contact details.
Playback sometimes cuts image off but may have to adjust my camera to get proper range.

Good quality image for basic camera. Strong signal and easy to set up. ONVIF compatible but no option to add privacy mask. Fixing bracket is flexible but is swivel ball connection so not as robust as others.

I purchased two. I have not put up the second one yet. I know it works as I set it up, but just have not put it up yet.
The most frustrating thing about this camera is that it records things that are not necessary. I end up with a load of recordings and it takes ages to delete them. I am not sure how to delete them all in one go – not sure if that is at all possible. As well as sometimes it stops working and you have to unplug it and plug it back in again and that seems to sort the problem out.
What I would like is instructions on how to get the most out of the security cameras. the have a contact facility but I do not find that any good.
I suppose it also helps if you have strong wifi signal. My mother has sannace security cameras and they are brilliant.
