Fabulous headphones
I cannot wear in-ear or over-ear headphones, for hours for work as I suffer from catching ear infections very easily.
These are a god-send as I can wear the, everyday, all day without fear of ear-infection!
Wasn’t sure what to expec
Sound quality a lot better than expected. I like to go out for walks and all other head phones were not comfy or fell out of my ears.
These are comfy, and work well for me. Only complaint is that they are little quiet for podcasts in noisy environments. But overall I’m happy with them.

I used them for running and cycling. They offer great sound but I can still be aware of the traffic around me. So good, I bought a pair for my partner.

Brilliant headphones
Got my Shoxz Openrun Pros today. Did a 5k and they were super. Didn’t move at all and I sweat like I’m in the shower. They sound is quieter than my in ear buds but loud enough for my buds keep coming out and when I push them back it pauses the music. No problem connecting them. Nice little hard case. Ordered them yesterday and delivered first thing this morning. I also wear glasses and they fit fine with them on. Controls are easy to use.
I would highly recommend these for anyone who might have issues with their ears & don’t relish stuffing thing inside your ears. These are a boon work really well, plus you can still hear what’s going on around you with traffic etc. which is no bad thing sh when marching about these days. They are lightweight & comfortable. Slightly fiddly on the on/off or answering calls etc but I guess with time I’ll get used to the small area for adjustment etc. for now I tend to take them off as they’re easy to take on & off. My ears feel fresh, clear & I think I’ll have less issues down the line with wax buildup & cleanliness etc. great product thus fa
Great inventio
These headphones are one of the best items I have ever bought. They make running on the road and listening to music/podcasts much safer and you can even answer calls too. The sound quality is not as good as in ear headphones but is more than adequate. They vibrate slightly on the side of your head, which not going to suit everyone, however, I found that easy to get used to. They are also waterproof, so you can run it the rain and not have to worry. They stay firmly in place on your head too, much better than any others I have tried.
A comfortable alternative to earbuds
I had my reservations as to what to expect in terms of sound compared to earbuds. I find earbuds difficult to wear, one always falls out and I end up having to screw them in, which is painful. I was happy to try something else and I was surprised that they offer not only much better comfort but good sound. I mainly use them for listening to my audiobooks whilst walking and they are very good for this purpose. They are comfortable! The sound is clear! A benefit is that you aren’t totally isolated from your surroundings but this can be a disadvantage as well, because background noise, such as a passing car, can drown out your hearing. This aside, I much prefer them to earbuds. I won’t use earbuds again if I can help it!

Comfortable and easy to use, the charge lasts a whole 12 hour shift and I can listen to music without annoying my crew mate.
Best of all though is being able to hear the other person on my phone with the background noise surrounding me not being an issue.
Great sound for Bone Conductio
Used for cycling so I can hear what’s around. So, noise cancellation is irrelevant. Sound is clear and bright, bass is there but not strong, so not for head banging. For me the sound is spot on while riding back lanes and tracks.

Bought as I wanted to hear background noise when walking but didn’t want big heavy over ear headphones, too hot or inear headphones as I’ve never been able to get use to them.
These are very light to wear so much so I forget im wearing them. They don’t make me sweat and work extremely well with little leakage of sound.

Under-rated
These bone conduction headphones are delightful to wear and to use! They sound great with my music are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. As shown in the other reviews the bass does make them vibrate on your temples but only at max volume if you have it at 70%-80% the audio is loud enough to enjoy without the vibration but tbh the vibration isn’t that irritating. They have good clear audio making them great for music and okay for other audio. If you are using these for podcasts or audiobooks it’s a good idea to set your Dolby Atmos to dynamic or voice, or you could just use the option for voices in the shokz app. The mic quality on these is not the best when talking to my sister she said I sound like I’m under-water but it’s understandable.
Another point which I’m not sure is my phone or the headphones but they have weird volume increments at the lowest volume you hear nothing (ofcourse) but it takes 2-3 presses to increase the volume to become audible like a whisper but after 2/4 presses you can see difference in volume.
Overall I’ve found these to be good to use for sitting in the common room and studying since I can enjoy my music and listen to all the fresh gossip or having soft jazz playing while I’m in maths while giving up not much (except constantly being asked by younger students if I’m deaf)
Nice and you don't need your ears
Never thought these type of h/phones would work but they most certainly do. Fantastic you can listen to what you like and the outside world all at the same time without getting confused.

I have them on while I walk, at the gym, at home while I make calls and listen to music and audiobooks. They are so incredibly light, comfortable and amazing for workouts because I sweat but they are not in the way. Just love them. Amazing invention.
I previously purchased the Aeropex in April 2021, unfortunately in May 2023 they died (wouldn’t turn on, wouldn’t charge, troubleshooting did nothing = it’s dead Jim) a month outside the 2 year warranty *cries*. As I have used the Aeropex almost daily since purchase I wasn’t too upset, but I did need to get a replacement ASAP.
I settled on the Shokz OpenRun Pro because they seemed to be very similar to the previous generation Aeropex, on first use I was blown away by how much the bone conduction technology has advanced in the last 2 years. The Aeropex were pretty decent but featured little to no bass, the OpenRun Pro however does have a nice amount of bass – amazing for bone conduction. The volume range is great, as it was with the Aeropex, I can listen at just below half volume and hear both my music and my surroundings to ensure I’m not splattered by a car, perfect!
I highly recommend these, if you’ve used previous generations you will be blown away by this generation of bone conduction tech; and I can’t wait to see how the technology advances further in the coming years. If you’ve not used bone conduction products previously it can take a little getting used to, but it is IMO the safest way to enjoy music while out walking/running and still being completely aware of your surroundings.
Amazing commute/workout headphones
I use them for my daily commute and workout. They give me great situational awareness of the traffic and they are super easy to connect or disconnect.
They don’t have the best sound quality since they don’t go inside my ear canals, but the ease of use and the awareness to surroundings are more than worth the tradeoff.
I was pleasantly surprised by this. Works extremely well for what they are. Don’t expect superb sound quality, but they are still an excellent source for listening to music/podcasts. They are very comfortable to wear. Would highly recommend.
I love these
These are fantastic for me. I run on my own and I have always just had one earphone in so I can hear the traffic or if someone is coming up behind me when running down the canal. These are brilliant, I can hear everything as well as my audiobooks. The sound quality is good for this, I can’t comment on music. They can be a little uncomfortable at the top of the ears after a while but it’s not really noticeable. So glad I got them

I bought these for my partner to replace an old pair of the same brand which were hanging on by a thread (and a good amount of parcel tape). They’re SO light to wear, the quality is great, and they’re safe to use when cycling or running in the road where normal headphones wouldn’t be. I did a lot of research into conduction headphones and these consistently come out as top rated, and it’s absolutely deserved. The perfect present for anyone active!

Super headphones for all cardio.
Have had absolutely zero issues with these since I bought them months ago. I use them for running and hiking and they are great. Battery charges very quickly and lasts a long time.
Comfortable and easy to adap
It took a few minutes to get use to hearing my music without anything in my ears. These headphones, will not fall out and get lost, I have done that several times with buds.
They are hygienic, so can be used by other people straight away. Since I received my Shokz headphones several friends gave asked to try them.
Like myself they couldn’t believe the quality of sound, and the fact you can still hear surrounding sounds.
I do alot of walking with my dog and like to listen to music. I can do that now, and still be alert to what is happening around me. This morning I could hear the birds, and traffic.
I can still wear my hearing aid.
I will certainly recommend these to friends and family, and should anything happen to these I replace them with like for like.
I am genuinely surprised at just how good these headphones are. Although I hoped they would be for the money I the sound reproduction is very impressive, especially considering they’re not even on or in your ears.
Initially it’s quite a strange sensation going for a run while listening to music and also being able to hear the birdsong around you at the same time.
They are light, fit really comfortably (even with my spectacles on, which is a real bonus) and the only reason I notice they are there is because of the music!
Battery life seems good. – only been using them for about an hour a day for the last week and only charged them the once, before I first used them.

These fit great and actually sound really good , the bass isn’t that punchy but is acceptable .They feel really sturdy and the built quality is really good .Very easy to set up amd has good Bluetooth range .
I purchased these for a recent holiday and I’m happy with the overall product. They are supplied with a fairly compact case and magnetic charging lead, the case is very good to protect them. The sound is adequate for me and I’ve used them for listening to music and audiobooks, they’re not as good as high-end over-ear headphones for sound definition but good enough for me to enjoy my music. I like the concept and they are super comfy to wear for hours as your ears don’t get sore or hot as they do with in/over ear headphones.
The power lasts for hours and I’ve used them for at least 8 hours on a charge and they also charge quickly too. I easily pair them to my phone and ipad via Bluetooth so no issues with connectivity.
Overall I’m pleased that I have these in my collection and they are certainly worth the investment for the comfort of using alone.

I wanted Shokz headphones for the sound quality and simplicity. They fit well, are light weight and don’t move when I’m running. Sound quality is good but the louder the volume, the more vibration you feel. I can put up with that when running. I bought them from Amazon as I read lots of bad reviews on Customer Service from Shokz themselves. I’ve never had a bad experience with Amazon Customer Service.

Since starting running a few years ago, I’ve tried lots of earphones..wireless, over ear etc. Never really spent a fortune on them but over time having to replace them has cost a fair amount.
After getting an ear infection I decided to try Shokz. Wasn’t expecting much and I really surprised how clear and good the sound is. Its even very reassuring to have ears open to my surroundings.
Only had a couple of weeks so will update in a few months.
Having used AfterShokz (now rebranded as ‘Shokz’) Trekz Titanium pretty much 2 hours a day every day since 2019 (I use them to listen to audiobooks & podcasts when walking the dog) and finding them really good, when the battery life started to get short & the battery started to inflate on my Trekz Ti, I decided it was time to replace them with something new.
Lots of the issues I had with the older headset (mildly uncomfortable with hoods, fiddly buttons, a lack of bass, tricky to charge) have been solved with this headset. The fit is better with this – and I love the magnetic charging cable (just a shame it’s quite so short). The sound quality is way better – I might even consider listening to Music on this although I feel like they are best suited to spoken word rather than music due to the way the bone conduction works. Plus this version has an app that allows you to update the firmware but also set different EQ.
So a worthy upgrade to the older Aftershokz to the new ‘Shokz’.

These are now my 3rd pair of Shokz headphones having now upgraded to these from the Openrun (non pro) version.
They have in my opinion a better, more open sound than the previous with slightly enhanced bass response and cleaner sounding treble. For me worth the upgrade although some people may decide the previous generation are good enough to not warrant upgrading.
I use these primarily for running as they are a must have to be able to confidently run on roads or in busy areas allowing me to hear my surroundings as well as my own breathing! I do sometimes wear them around the house so I can hear when I am being spoken to.
At present bone conduction headphones will never “out do” in ear type for sound quality and bass response and if you are considering these Open Run Pro headphones for this reason I’m afraid you are missing the point, they cannot compete in this category alone. If quality is all you are after then I would suggest Sony, Bose, Apple etc.
But if you will be using these for any form of exercise or cannot have things in your ears then I believe you will like these a lot. When I use them for running they never move at all and have been used in the rain with no problems.
Battery life is very good as is the quality of the headphones themselves.
All in a great open headphone which for me will continue to be my go to running headphones and I’m sure I will upgrade when the next version comes out.

Great device even while wearing sun glasses
I love the packaging, the form factor, the seamless connection to BlueTooth on my iPhone. The volume range is amazing, and the button pauses and plays video and audio very well.
The headphones fit well and won’t come off if I tilt or shake my head.
The audio tracks perfectly with the videos I’ve been watching, so no noticeable lag.
The device charges quickly with a proprietary USB magnet-connection cable, and I haven’t had the battery die.
The bass isn’t as intense as in-ear or over-ear headphones, but it’s the best I’ve heard in a bone conductive device.

I have had a heck of a time finding ear phones that work for me. I can’t wear in ears because of regular ear infections and the over the ear ones hurt so these are perfect for me and I love them so much. Great sound and super comfortable.

Very Well Buil
I was a little skeptical but was talked into ordering. I have some hearing lose in my left ear that can’t be helped with a hearing aid. With the OpenRun Pro, I am able to hear, to a point, on both sides.
I can’t tell you how great it is to be able to listen to my music and phone calls on both sides.
I was so impressed, I ordered 2 more. One for my wife and one for my grandson for Christmas.
I don’t normally write reviews but I’m so impressed with these headphones I felt I should as I was unsure myself before purchasing them. I’ve tried every type of headphones to run in, AP pros, earbuds, in ear headphones that hook around the ear, wired etc but have always struggled with either moving and constantly pushing them back in, a muffled vibration when running and not being able to hear my surroundings. These openrun pros fix all of that. I read reviews that said the sound quality isn’t the best but it’s amazing considering these sit on the outside of your ear, you can hear cars behind, people speaking as you pass and can talk to running partners running next to you..all while the music is playing inside your head. No idea how the bone conducting tech works but it’s brilliant. People have also mentioned you can’t hear the music as well when in heavy traffic or passing loud roadworks etc but isn’t that the point. I found it was just finding a balance between the sound level and still being able hear traffic clearly. If your on the fence like I was I would highly recommend trying these, it’s hard to describe just how good they are. Fast charging, long battery life, super easy to set up and use one of the best pieces of training tech I’ve purchased!
These are so comfortable I forget I have them on. They don’t fall off like earbuds. They allow me to hear my surroundings when I’m outside walking or bicycling, and the battery lasts longer than any Apple or otherwise product. The only flaw is they are not in the Apple ecosystem and I’m hoping one day that Apple buys the company since their ear buds fall out, block my hearing and have a cost me too much money replacing them over the years. One other minor issue that the company admitted —They use food stuff in their plastic coating as my dog has eaten through a couple of pairs of these when I left them out (they said they’re working on a solution. And indeed replaced a pair on a one time only accommodation as a result.) In the meantime, now I am careful to never leave them out!
I do quite a lot of walking and like to listen to podcasts when doing so. Over the last few years I have finally managed to wear out the 3.5mm headphone jack on my phone (I also wore out more than one set of wired headphones). As such, I was forced to take the plunge and go wireless and I’m glad I did.
This headset is simply ideal for use as a ‘sports’ headset, especially outdoors. It’s light, cordless and so far has been very rugged. To me it is almost a perfect wireless sports headset.
The bone conduction technology is very effective, making for extremely clear spoken word and pretty decent music reproduction. Despite the promotion of the bass capabilities, this is not going to match regular earbuds for deep bass reproduction but in my opinion it is more than ‘good enough’ especially if outdoors and/or doing sports activity. They would not be my first choice for audiophile listening but for activity use, absolutely no quibbles.
The sound doesn’t ‘feel’ all that different from standard headphones … before I first tried them I thought that they might give a sort of ‘disembodied’ sound but really, they could just as easily be normal headphones. I had read people complaining about the transducers ‘tickling’ the temples but I’ve only managed to reproduce this feeling by turning them up to max volume with loud source material. Even then, it wasn’t a particular discomfort. Talking of loudness, they don’t seem to go as subjectively loud as most headphones but they sort of don’t ‘need’ to as the sound is just conducted into your eardrums via your skull. I have no complaints, anyway. Possibly when it comes to loud music they might even be ‘safer’ for the ear than normal phones too but I’m not qualified to give an expert opinion on that.
Because your ears aren’t obstructed, you can hear everything going on around you (unless masked by the audio you are playing). This is very useful for outdoor use if you are cycling or walking/running near traffic and offers a real safety benefit. Also, because the headset is very light you can keep wearing it and still interact with people, unlike say, earbuds that you might have to remove to talk to someone. It’s easy to forget that you are in fact wearing headphones.
This ears-unblocked design also has an interesting ‘inverse’ application where you can use a set of standard, cheap noise blocking earplugs to exclude external noise but still allow you to hear the headphones perfectly. If you are working in a noise-hazard environment where you need to use plugs, this can be useful.
Aside from headphone use, it also supports the functions of a telephone headset. It works really well for this, in fact its my preferred bluetooth headset for hands-free use on my phone because of its lightness and open-ears design, allowing you to wear it for long periods. Speech comes though really clearly on the phones and the microphone has worked well even in relatively noise environments too. There’s a multifunction button on the left transducer which lets you control audio playback and answer calls etc.
Battery life is decent enough – I’ve never run them down from 100% to empty but have had at least 5 hours listening with the battery level remaining ‘medium’ (when you power on the phones you get an audible notification of battery level). I think the claimed life is something like 7 hours or so which seems reasonable. One strange thing is that they don’t seem to have an auto-timeout when you disconnect or if they do, it’s a long time. I guess that could lead to them being inadvertantly depleted of battery if you forget to power them down.
The headphones themselves are very robust – there is a strong, slim ‘band’ (almost like a thick wire) that goes behind the back of your head to clamp the bone conduction units to the area of your temples. For me, this has fitted really well and with the right amount of clamping force. It’s not adjustable though so I guess you might experience issues depending on the dimensions of your head. My guess is that they have targeted the most common head size. In any case, the whole setup feels very robust and seems unlikely to break.
The bone conduction transducers are pretty much sealed (there do seem to be some grills for bass) so they seem a lot more durable than foam pads or rubber tips as typically found on regular ‘phones. There is a degree or water resistance (or sweat I guess) which gives me confidence that they are not going to self destruct if it rains or I get really sweaty. The design makes it really easy to clean the headphones after use – just wipe them down. I absolutely would not want to get them submerged in water, however. The manufacturers do have a dedicated fully waterproof swimming MP3 player based on similar tech which I am probably going to buy too.
There is a fair degree of sound leakage compared to earbuds but not likely to be a problem for sports or when outdoors. Not ideal if you are sitting next to someone or maybe in a small office though.
Overall, I think these are absolutely superb for the purpose of sports/activity, indoors or outdoors. Also great if you want something that you can wear for long periods of time and that doesn’t inhibit your ability to hear the world around you. As I said, they are so good that I will most likely take the plunge and get their swimming mp3 headset for use in the pool. I am only sorry I didn’t take the leap and adopt this technology sooner. Even though they are quite pricey I think they are well worth it and they should last many years.
Ich hre unheimlich gern und viel Musik, habe schon diverse Over-, On- und In-Ear-Kopfhrer ausprobiert, aber alle haben entweder nach einer Weile auf/in den Ohren gedrckt oder sassen so eng auf dem Ohr, dass ich darunter pitschnass geschwitzt war.
Dann hab ich irgendwann mein erstes Shokz (damals noch AfterShokz) Headset gekauft und komme nicht mehr davon los.
Sitzt super bequem, hat einen guten Sound und man bekommt aber noch was von der Umweld mit (wichtig z.B. beim Radfahren).
Inzwischen habe ich meine Frau und meinen Schwiegervater angesteckt, die auch Shokz Headsets nutzen, ich selbst habe eins fr die Arbeit als Headset am Rechner und am iPhone und eins (dieses) privat fr meinen Rechner (Video schauen, Musik hren) und mein Android-Handy (Musik hren, telefonieren).
Ich mchte es nicht mehr missen, musste dafr aber tief in die Tasche greifen.
Soviel zum Thema Emotionen, jetzt sachlich:
Im Karton ist neben dem eigentlichen Headset ein Ladekabel (USB-Anschluss, magnetisch am Headset), ein Sport-Halsband (das hab ich nicht ausgepackt), eine feste Tasche zum Transport (die finde ich ganz schn gro fr das kleine Headset) sowei ein kleine Anleitung.
Per Bluetooth verbinden ist total easy, Multipoint-Verbindung mit zwei Gerten ist mglich (siehe meine Kombinationen oben).
Ich habe nicht getestet, wie lange das Headset bei Dauernutzung hlt, aber beim HomeOffice muss ich frhestens nach zwei Tagen laden, wobei ich nicht tglich acht Stunden damit telefoniere, aber mindestens acht Stunden connected bin.
I wanted a replacement for my noice cancelling, in-ear Bose ear buds and was keen to feel a bit more connected with the environment. I run regularly (in London) so with traffic and all the other hazards it’s good to be able to hear what’s coming! These perform really well, the compromise is the sound quality but I think it’s good enough for my daily runs. Either playlists or radio sound good enough and you do feel more aware of and connected with your environment. I use them on an almost dialog basis, the battery life is very good. I have used the phone function a couple of times and it works well, picking up the voice without any issues. I have used in all weathers with and without an ear covering head band / snood without any problems. I find them very comfortable and easy to use.
Good sound but sometimes vibrates against the bone like a very small electric shock
I like the style, sound and convenience of these. They stay in place while I’m walking or sitting on the train and because they’re not in my ear I can still hear others around me. I don’t really like the electric-shock feeling that sometimes transmits from the headset through the bones (which is how the sound travels) but it’s not so uncomfortable that I would stop using them. They are clearly very well made and high quality and easy to operate.
My train journey in the morning is around 2 hours and when I’m coming home in the evening I get a battery medium or battery low warning and that’s from a full charge so I don’t believe the claims about long-lasting battery life when all I’m doing is listening to Audio Books or Music and having the occasional call.
I’m mostly happy with them but when they finally run out I’ll probably look for something different next time.
These Shokz OpenRun Pros are my first-ever bone induction headphones. As I’m unfamiliar with others, I can’t vouch for the bass transfer these headphones claim, but I can verify that bass transfer is decent.
When I first tried them on, I was alarmed/annoyed by the substantial vibration they generated for bass, but it only took me a day to get past that.
These headphones are so comfortable, that I wear them all-day, even when I don’t need audio. Phone correspondents report that the microphones on these headphones cause my voice to sound just fine, and I can hear the other party very clearly. I do enjoy the comfort of knowing that I can still hear cars and people around me, when I wear them for outdoor walks.
I would definitely buy these, again!

Fr mich persnlich ist dieses Produkt optimal, da mir fast keine herkmmlichen Ohrstpsel passen bzw. angenehm sind. Auch bleibt die Aufmerksamkeit fr Umgebungsgerusche gewhrleistet. Umschaltung bei einem Anruf von Musik auf Gesprchsmodus sehr gut. Trotz dem relativ hohen Preis, sehr empfehlenswert.

Ungewohnt, für mich perfekt!
Es ist zunchst etwas gewhnungsbedrftig, aber letztlich ein echter Komfortgrwinn! Die Ohren sind frei, keine nervigen Stpsel im Ohr, die eh nie richtig passenn… Top zum Fahrradfahren, alle Gerusche im Straenverkehr werden ganz normal gehrt. Super Sache, ich bin begeistert. Achja, telefonieren klappt auch endlich mal in guter Qualitt 🙂
AMAZING but the department's are not synergizing
I enjoy the gimmick this stands for i use this to keep me in a deep state of sleep with combined “loop” earplugs.
Now the problems, it “will” tell you “charge me” lower you music volume momentarily every 20 seconds or so. In my opinion this is awful use of software and battery since it does this not on 5 or 10 percent, 20, meaning it should last a decent spec of time, which also means if you are doing the same thing you get a free alarm clock if you don’t charge it prior. Moving on with audio, the beeps to play / pause adjust volume can feel like a thud on you sensory if you like your headspace. I personally think this product would be fine with no sound at all or an option to turn them off in the app with a firmware update.

I bought these to replace my apple AirPod Pros and was quite skeptical as I had not tried bone conductive headphones before purchasing. My initial impression of them wasn’t that good as they don’t sound like traditional headphones. The high frequency sounds do not come through and as a drummer I noticed all cymbal sounds almost disappear, delicate guitar, piano or string instruments don’t sound as clear as they would with traditional headphones either. Wearing hearing protection like earplugs does work but will muffle the sound, but that is not what these were made for. If I want to have music playing and still be aware of what is going on around me, these are perfect. Play metal music all day long and not bother the scared little people you work with because you have good taste in music and still be able to hear your coworkers gossip! Phone calls sound crisp and clear, much better than using my phone on my ear. The microphone has noise cancelling that works very well. The headphones themselves are not noise cancelling. Anyone who wants noise cancelling bone conductive headphones is asking for a product that would give them a migraine after minutes of use. These are not headphones to use in noisy environments as they are not designed for that use for your own health. They are comfortable to wear for the entire day, I can wear a touque or hat and it doesn’t affect the performance. The battery keeps charge well after one month of use, will update if things change.

These are bone conduction headphones with remarkable sound quality (at least for me). They work with hearing aids on (my wife loves them) – had to get a second pair so we’d each have our own. I like having the situational awareness of being able to hear the enviornment around me. When I need to shut it out (like a load machine) foam earplugs do the job (and the tunes or phone calls) roll on!
Also found a neat trick you can do with these and your phone is to give a hybrid tour – you are present for the people you are with (giving a tour to) and on a zoom call on a phone you can connect with others who are on the call, who can hear what is going on during the tour. Unexpected benefit!
Would recommend this type of headphone for flexibility (generally) and these ones specifically – they seem to work really well. If I lost them I’d go buy a replacement without hesitation.

If sound quality matters, then these are NOT for you
Read all of the reviews and really wanted to give these a try. The ear buds I have will start to hurt my ears after wearing for a period of time. For these, overall, the concept is good. But the cost versus the sound quality was something I couldn’t justify, so I returned these.
A few key notes:
1. I would recommend you read the review by HJeffK on January 13, 2022. His review is 100% spot on.
2. The ‘bass’ with these – at a normal volume, the headsets vibrated. Slightly annoying, especially since the ‘bass’ didn’t improve the sound quality.
3. As someone noted, the sound quality was like having music playing in the background.
4. With my earbuds, I can turn noise cancelling on or off. The idea of having these so that I can hear what else is going on around me when running or biking is negated.
Again, the bottom line for me was the sound quality versus the cost. I feel like I could get something much cheaper at cost, that is also bone conductive, for the same sound.
I have always used Bose products and when my last set needed to be replaced I got the Shocks based on a recommendation. Most importantly,I feel these are a healthier choice of headsets because it is not in my ear. The sound is surprisingly good, they are comfortable and a very good battery life. I am glad I ventured out. I do recommend them!

I use this headset for calls, listening to music and I was using it for video conferencing. I love the open ear headset, being able to hear what's going on around me while still being able to clearly hear my music or the voices in a phone call/ meeting was the feature I most wanted, and this headset delivers on all counts. It delivers impressive sound fidelity for music at low volumes and the mike pick up is very good for calls. The only negative is that in a Microsoft Teams or Google meeting when you mute the microphone there is a notification tone that is loud enough to be uncomfortable and distracting. I have done everything I can think of to disable or at least reduce the volume of that notification beep without success. It is bad enough that I had to switch back to my old over the ear headset for meetings. Fix that flaw and these will be ideal.

4. That I did NOT have to put inside my ears
This pair does exactly that. I will say if you are in the wind that will give you problems with the sound and voice quality. But for the most part if you are in a moderately loud environment this headset does a good job of canceling out background noise. The set is comfortable too. I almost forget that I am wearing them. HOWEVER my husband got the same pair and he is a big guy with a big head and he says after a while they feel tight on him.

Partiamo subito coi difetti, sono costose. Detto questo ! Premetto che il secondo paio che acquisto di questo marchio, queste sono l’ultimo modello che trovo realmente pi performanti del modello precedente gi eccellente. Le cuffie sono stra comode, me le dimentico addosso, sono ultra resistenti al sudore e alla pioggia. Il suono non male e in quest’ultimo modello lo trovo migliorato nel carattere , anche il modello precedente non era mala qui si ha un qualcosina in pi. Le ho acquistate per ascoltare la musica in bici e le utilizzo con grande soddisfazione, uscendo mi capitato a dover rispondere a qualche telefonata e fino a 30km/h non ci sono problemi di fruscii, sbalorditivo . Le prendo indosso con casco e occhiali, non ho nessun fastidio. Una volta acquisite le ho inoltrate alla incominciato ad usare per vedere la TV, guidare il camion, fare le faccende domestiche e passeggiare. Se le compri non le togli pi. Ottimo anche il sistema di ricarica magnetico. In questo ultimo modello in confezione trovate uno splendido beauty per il trasporto che solo lui costa una ventina di euro.

Ich verwende die Kopfhrer um mit ihnen beim Rennrad fahren Musik zu hren und gleichzeitig meine Umgebung war zunehmen. Dieses funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Verarbeitung des Kopfhrers ist gut er hat bei mir schon kleinere Regenschauer berlebt. Im Lieferumfang ist zustzlich zum Kopfhrer noch ein Ladegert sowie ein Case beigelegt. Ein bisschen schade finde ich das Ich wieder ein weiteres Ladekabel habe, denn ich denke man htte in dem Kopfhrer auch einen USB-C Anschluss unterzubringen. Die Klang Qualitt ist “hrbar” es ist wahrlich kein Qualittswunder aber wenn ich gut Musik hren will wrde ich auf eine andere Technologie setzen z.B. Elektrostaten Kopfhrer.

Good product could be loude
The headphones work alright for listening to music does not get to loud so in a louder environment like a warehouse not the best option. Blue tooth calling works well but randomly will go silent the caller can hear you but you can’t hear them. Good concept but could use some more work for the cost.
Update contacted support and they helped with the reset of them and work well not still could be louder but working like they should.

Immer wieder gab es Probleme beim Laden resp. beim Laufen bei Feuchtigkeit wie Regen oder beim Schwitzen.
Erst letzten Samstag bei den Infinite Trails in Bad Hofgastein. Meine letzten 2 Stunden hat es leicht geregnet und dabei haben sich die Buttons selbststndig gemacht”. Lauter. Lauter. Aus. Keine Bluetooth Verbindung mehr. Zuhause liessen sich die Aftershokz nicht mehr laden oder connecten.
Ich hoffe, dass das mit den Shokz hier besser ist.

I bought these headphones for my husband that works out the in heat. They fit well and he enjoys them daily to listen to music while he works. My complaint is when I call him it is hard to hear him as if he is muffled. He has no complaints and wears them daily.

Ich trage die Kopfhrer nun seit ca. 3Monaten tglich beim Rennradfahren. Zunchst war ich skeptisch ob ich fr Kopfhrer soviel Geld ausgeben sollte. Bisher hatte ich zum Joggen und Radfahren immer hochqualitative Inearkopfhrer. Leider rutschten mir diese beim Sport immer aus den Ohren, was bestimmt nicht unbedingt an den Produkten liegt.
Nun zum Vergleich. Die Shokz sind von der Klangqualitt super aber im Vergleich zu den Inears einfach anders. Ich bekomme meine Umgebungsgerusche immer mit, Bsse sind nicht so intensiv wahrnehmbar wie bei den Inear. Insgesamt ist das Hrerlebnis zwar anders aber richtig richtig gut. Windgerusche beim schnellen Radfahren (ab 30km/h) fordern schon eine hohe Lautstrke aber die Qualitt ist trotzdem gut, wenn man Musik nebenher hren mchte.
Ganz wichtig fr mich. Die Kopfhrer verrutschen nicht bzw. Sind vom tragen kaum wahr zu nehmen. Trotz Stirnband u. Brille
Helmcap im Winter habe ich noch nicht in der Praxis getestet, msste aber auch gut funktionieren.
Habe ich nun mehrmals mit einem Helmcap ausprobiert u.sehe hier leider ein Defizit. Aufgrund des hinteren Bgels lassen sich die Shokz nicht/eingeschrnkt unter einer Mtze tragen. Die Mtze lsst sich nicht mehr ber die Ohren ziehen.
Also wer fr Sport im Straenverkehr qualitativ hochwertige Kopfhrer sucht, mit einem sehr gut Komfort, einer guten Hrqualitt wenn man Musik neben dem Sport hren mchte fr den lohnt sich die Investition in diese Kopfhre
Battery life is quite a bit better then the earlier Aeropex Aftershokz. Sounds quality is good but not quite as loud as Aeropex. The spring band that holds them to your head is a bit more flexible which means it doesn't press against your head as hard so is more comfortable but is also the most likely reason they don't seem as loud (on me anyways)... I still prefer them over the other models though...
