These headphones are worth every penny I spent. The sound quality is comparable to that of my Bose QC 35 headphones. No, I won’t dare put them ahead of Bose, but for the price difference, the Soundcore Anker Life Q30 Headphones are a real winner. There are various sound options, so you are bound to get the sound quality you enjoy based on the genre of music that you prefer. And, the Noise Cancellation is very good. Not as close to my Bose as the sound quality is, but good enough. I can’t hear my bathroom blower running nor my garage door open when I have Noise Cancellation on. Now, there is a caveat, I have to turn the headphones up to at least mid volume level, which isn’t too high. It is about the same level as Bose, but you can hear some residual sound with Soundcraft when my bathroom blower is on. No residual sound with Bose. What is really remarkable is I can still hear my music while riding my 33 HP Zero Turn mower, with the prior caveat, turn volume up. But, I have to turn my Bose up too and have residual sound with both while riding the Zero Turn, which is fine for safety purposes. Additionally, the Soundcore headphones battery is very good, as advertised. I’m using the headphones for the fourth day and I’m still at 80 percent power. Probably 14 cumulative hours of usage over 4 days. When the Noise Cancellation is engaged, the sound appears flat, so I boost the base to eliminate the flat sound. There is an option to do this along with various other adjustment options via the Soundcore App. By the way, you do have to download the Soundcore App to get the Headphones to work. I have an android Smartphone and had no issues at all. The Bluetooth range is just as good as my Bose Headphones. And these comfortable headphones fit over my ears perfectly. This is the best inexpensive set of Headphones I've ever owned. Therefore, I highly recommend them and rate them 5-stars overall.

I’m not sure how much they should cancel, but I can still hear plenty while it is in noise canceling mode. However, I can hear my podcasts while I am mowing the lawn.

While I don’t have other headphones to compare it to, I have to say that these are quite outstanding quality headphones. The noise canceling feature is dangerously effective. Please be responsible and safe out there. Transparency mode is quite interesting as well as it allows outside sound to pass through mic into the high end of the headphones. The best feature of all though is the app. You can EQ your music the way you want and create custom settings which has me rocking out hard.

This is my 3rd set of Soundcore over the ear headphones. My first I purchased years ago, and I wore them out. My second (Q20) I gifted after I purchased a set of Q35s. I also own Liberty Air Pro 2 and Liberty Pro 3. These products are great.

To start with I do have a pair of Altec Lansing head phones, which if you know the name are great quality. My daughter told me about these Soundcore Q30 head phones, so got em. "Superb" one word is all I need. The sound, superb, ANC is good, battery life is again superb. Comfortable, yes superb, features, superb. So do not hesitate, just get em. Well worth the cost. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersQ30 vs Airpods Max vs Sony 1000xm4
    —Update—
After about 70 hrs of use I started noticing a crackling in the right earphone while ANC active. Did some searching thru reviews and seems like a very small amount had similar issue. So i’ll chalk it up to me being unlucky. Sending back amazon refurbished and instead buying new. Will update if any other issues.

    —Original Review—
So I needed a pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones that checked all the boxes (great anc, good for music, gaming and movies).
My initial research lead me to the Airpods max and Sony’s wh-1000xm4, shocker right? Then I stumbled upon a video recommending
    Anker’s Soundcore Life Q30. At a fraction of the price (APM $549 vs XM4 $348 vs Q30 $79) I didn’t expect much.
    Boy, was I wrong…

    -TLDR-
Unless you need the absolute best ANC then
save your money and get the Q30.

    -Sound- Winner=Q30

Tested w/ Amazon Music HD (mostly ultra HD tracks 16-24 bit, 44.1kHz) LG V40 phone + windows PC.
Side note- if you don’t already have a source for HD music then Amazon Music HD is an amazing value compared to tidal and other competitors.
And the sound is night and day over something like spotify.

    1. Q30 – Out the box the Q30’s sound fantastic! It has an intimate energetic sound profile w/ a nice low end rumble thats controlled, clear mids, vocals are forward and sound incredible,
highs are crispy but not overhwelming. While I wouldn’t call these bass heavy, they are on the bassier side. Narrowest sound stage but good seperation.

    2. APM – Thinnest sound with the most detail. Widest sound stage and very good seperation. Less emphasis on the low end, mids are very clear and highs are crisp.
Music can sound too anemic at times. When switching between APM and Q30, I noticed the Q30 seemed to bring the music to life especially in the low end and the vocals were more prominent. APM’s sound too analytical for my taste. They come off as boring on some tracks.
Where the Q30’s have a more intimate fun sound.

    3. XM4 – Out the box without LDAC these sounded horrible. Once I activated LDAC they sounded better but still behind Q30 and APM in terms of overall sound.
XM4 has a wide stage compared to the Q30, but sounded too distant at times. Nothing stood out and the overall the sound comes off very flat. Highs are a bit recessed.
I can’t recommend these for music unless you wana mess with the EQ.

    -ANC- Winner=APM
All tested in a small room next to a noisy AC unit.

    1. APM – Even with the noisy ac and fans blaring the APM was able to get everything down to near silence. Very impressive. 95% sound reduction
    2. XM4 – Not quite as good as APM, but close. I could still make out a whisper from the AC, but barely. 90% reduction
    3. Q30 – Was able to get all noises down to a acceptable whisper. A step behind XM4 but not by much. 85% reduction.

    -Comfort- Winner=XM4

Tbh, none of these headsets really bothered me comfort wise. I was able to use them for hours at a time without issue. But, If I had to pick a winner I would give the edge to Sony.

1.XM4 – Best combination of weight and pad feel. Pads are silky smooth and cup around your ears comfortably.

2.Q30 – Q30’s have the thinnest earpads but still have a nice cushion to them. In terms of weight these are pretty light. Pads seem to be cheapest pads of the bunch.

3.APM – Tightest clamping force. APM’s are noticeably heavy when you first put them on but this went away after wearing them for a bit. Pads aren’t
the traditional synthetic leather material instead they opted for a cloth like material which feels rougher to the touch.

-Gaming (FPS Apex Legends)- Winner= Q30

My headset for gaming is the DT990 (amazing for gaming) and I didn’t expect any of these headphones to be acceptable for Apex.
Again, the Q30’s shocked me. After a game or two adjusting to the sound signature these were acceptable. Positional tracking was the best of the bunch and had
an intimate exciting sound profile. There was a welcomed thump of bass during explosions and gunshots that wasn’t present with my DT990’s. Enjoyable experience overall.
It didn’t hold its own against the DT990 in terms of positional accuracy(sound stage much wider) but they’re still perfectly usable when ANC is needed.

    1. Q30 – still able to accurately detect footsteps around me. Exciting sound with a nice thump to low end during gun fights. Didn’t notice much latency while using these over bluetooth
    2. APM – Similar sounding to the Q30 minus the bass but positional tracking was less accurate than the Q30’s. No noticeable latency via bt.
    3. XM4 (unplayable) distant, muffled and veiled sound.

    Features (Android)- Winner=XM4
    1. XM4
    2. Q30 –
    3. APM – little to no features for android

Battery – Winner=Q30 – All battery life claims seemed accurate.
    1. Q30 – 40hrs w/ANC
    2. XM4 – 30hrs ” ”
    3. APM – 20hrs ” ”

    Build quality – Winner=APM
    1. APM – solid, luxurious feeling build. HEAVY!
    2. Q30 XM4 (tie) – both headsets have a similar plasticy feeling body. The hinges on the XM4 are loose and feel very cheap when rotating. The pads on the Q30 are on the thin side and seem on the cheaper side.

    Transparency mode – Winner=APM
While this was probably the least important thing on the list to me. If I really need to hear something, i’ll just take the headphones off.
But it would be remiss for me not to mention the magic of APM’s transparency mode. It almost feels like I’m not wearing headphones at all. Sounds in the room
feel very natural and not over amplified or as if they’re coming thru a mic. Q30 and XM4 on the otherhand felt very synthetic. Still usable in a pinch, but nothing special.

    1. APM – on another level
    2. Q30,XM4 (tied) – meh, both sound synthetic and amplified.

After going back and forth between headsets it came down to either the Q30’s or the Airpod max’s. On one hand I get great sound for all applications, incredible 40hr battery life, and save a ton of money. On the other hand I get the best noise cancelling experience alongside a magical natural sounding transparency mode. Since sound is first priority to me and ANC second I decided to keep the Q30’s. Tbh as crazy as it sounds if I had to choose between either APM @ $79 or Q30’s @$79, I’d still pick the Q30’s. As clean as the Airpod max’s sounded, they sounded boring. As for XM4’s, I wouldn’t even consider them. They sounded awful out the box. Hope this helps someone make the right decision.

This product has all the functions of the $300 headphones at a much lower cost. Reviews show the more expensive ones have better long term comfort, sound quality, etc. but if you are like me and only use them a few times a year when flying, these will get you close at a much more friendly price. I am very impressed with the ANC, and easy to touch the right side to allow conversation, though you can still hear a very small amount of background noise when on full ANC. The noise cancelling is much better than some quality active in ear cancelling headphones I have. The sound is actually pretty good too, base is booming, and app has customizable EQ... but definitely not as good as the more expensive ones. You can't go wrong with this, but if you plan on using all the time and can afford one of the top tier, then it is probably worth spending the extra money.

I love these things. The transparency is great when I want to know my surroundings so on the bus, while biking, and in my room with the door closed cause I can get paranoid. The Noise cancelling is amazing for when I am sleeping. I regularly sleep with these on (as a side sleeper with one on and the other to the side). It's a little uncomfortable but it makes me sleep like a baby. Much faster and with no distractions. Only slight problem is the NFC tag is horrid. It's like playing duck, duck, goose so you might as well connect them the old fashion way. It's a great idea though so can't wait to see it executed correctly. I was a little unsure about the comfort coming from a very comfy headphone before but I have been quite accostmed to the fit and I have never taken them off because they were uncomfortable. It is worth noting as well that these headphones are part of Renewed Amazon (refurbished).

    Exceptional clarity.
    They sound amazing.
Very clear. The bass might be mighty but for me could be softer.
They are very good for vocals, jazz, classical, sound stage open and vocals close.
They look good. Even at work friends keep
telling me that and asking where to get them from.
    Noise cancelling could be better.
Have got Q20 and they have better noise cancellation and softer more entertaining bass. Also if you consider price I do prefer Q20.

They for sure for someone who likes clean bright sounds specially with noise cancelling on and acoustic settings in app equaliser they get very bright and bring vocals closer and instruments separation comes to place.

Best headphones in their price range
As usual, Anker doesn’t disappoint. I’ve tested a lot of audio products for work, and these were the ones that I didn’t want to return because I thought they presented the best value for money I’ve seen in a long time.
Noise cancellation is incredible when compared to the other two sound modes. Great for music, audiobooks, and everything in between.
Anker is obviously know for their batteries, and that is definitely another strong point for these. They recharge insanely fast, and hold a charge for days. 100% recommend.

After trying 4 different name brands, I was referred to this brand. I was skeptical about the quality I would get because of the low price, but to my surprise I was blown away! The quality of the build, battery life, and sound was nothing but amazing. It surpassed my JBL earphones and all others I had previously used. The only brand comparable to this is Bose and the price difference is huge. Will continue purchasing this brand for sure.

Sound great but the design needs improveme
The sound cancellation on these is decent, especially when playing music/white noise. I use transparency mode when I’m out running errands and it tunes out grocery store noise really well! allowing me to stay aware while listening to my podcast.

A top feature would be the battery. The life lasts me almost a week and I wfh so they’re on 24/7.

Unfortunately, the design is bulky and clunky. If I look up or bend down they fall off my head completely, definitely aren’t ideal for working out. The ear cushion/headphone is huge and there is no way to tighten them. For the price they are still a decent pair.

this is refurbished, though, and had to swap as the first ones clipped sound every minute or so.

I liked everything about this headphone. ANC was good. The product did everything as advertised. One gripe though. When I’m using it and am sitting on the sofa with a pillow behind my head, if you turn your head and the headphones rub against the pillow, you can definitely hear it in all modes (NC, transparency, normal). This is not my first ANC headphones or headphones for that matter. It happens to others too. But this one in particular is more louder than others. Believe its the buttons on the headphones not as “tight” as others or placementof the buttons. Otherwise, I’d buy it again.

Beides Top, NC filtert eher niedrige Frequenzen.

    – Musik hren beim Joggen:

I’m very pleased with my headphones, I bought them as renewed and they came as new! (original box, case, cables and quick guide). I've been testing them since yesterday and they work nice. There are just few things I don't find perfect about them, but considering the price, I think they're just as good as reviews say. ANC is good, sound quality is splendid when you customize EQ through the Soundcore app, I've tested HiFi music and it sounds awesome. They are comfy, and not so heavy. I give them 4,5 stars because of course, there are some things that could be better but “great value for the price” is accurate!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’m an audio engineer, so I really did some research before buying these and had a chance to test them on a display before buying here. Of the ones I was able to test these have had the most pleasant noise cancelling, doing an excellent job with bass noise cancellation and doing almost an equally impressive job with the higher sounds cancellation, where other pairs lack good cancellation in the higher frequencies. I purchased these really for noise cancellation just with the appeal to be able to here any music or podcasts at all in loud environments. The audio quality right out of the box is (keep reading) not impressive to me at all. BUT, download the app which allows for full EQ customization, and suddenly I cleaned up the muddy mid tones, brought out a crisp high end, which impressively is all there after an EQ, and dialed in the bass where I like it. I took a gamble on being able to tweak the audio quality, since I didn’t download the app in the store I tested these in, and I’m very impressed with these headphones and I think the app makes these such a good user experience. There’s even 3 modes of noise cancellation in the app based on your environment. For the price, I’ve found these to be a steal. I should have bought these way soone

    A value for money, truly
Pros: looks pretty decent, mine is black, the material for the studding, the plastic, the ear cushions are good and realible. The sound is crystal clear, the bass is decent but I am more of a vocal and acoustic lover, and the Soundcore application adjusts it like a charm. Try hearing Adele on it…almost astounding!
CONS: THE noice cancelling abilities are not the best, I use the headphones while cooking and it blocks them nicely while the song is on but once stopped, you can hear some noices.
But at this price, I have only praises for this product. I have been using Anker products for long and I am mighty delighted to say that it has been a pleasure to be their customer. Kudos :).

Ok I really wasn’t expecting much at this price point. Particularly as I had ordered a refurb for 63 quid. It was as new. Honestly I love the sound quality of these headphones, used it on a flight on Tuesday and it cut out much of the plane noise very well. The headphones come with a great case, BUT the key to their success is the Anker app so you can adjust the type of noise cancelling, and the EQ you want. If you’re inclined it also has an ambient SFX option to help you relax and sleep. I have a pair of Bose QC35’s and this is not far off that type of quality in my view, however there is a massive difference in price. Very pleasantly surprised.

Excellent quality and value. The customer service is superb, too. I’ve heard less effective ANC on much more expensive headphones. Okay, they’re not up there with Sony’s best, but at a fraction of the price and frequently at a discount, you can’t buy better for the price bracket.

    Super Teil mit hervorragendem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Ich habe wegen meiner Umgebungslautstrke nun verschiedene Headsets fr meine Arbeit ausprobiert:
    Soundcore Anker Life Q30
    Valco VKM20
    Sony WH-1000XM4

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPerfekter Klang und Geräuschunterdrückung
Was soll ich sagen?

I bought these to watch TV in the evening without bothering my wife/sleeping kids. Battery life is amazing, can go more than a week without a charge so far several hours each day. These are my first headphones with noise cancelling so I don't have anything to compare to, but it works well at masking other background noises. Obviously as bluetooth and pricepoint they are not going to have the highest sound quality if you are after listening to music, but they do the trick and work well for my purpose

Atmungsaktivitt nachbessern knnte. Eventuell im nchsten Modell? Wre jedenfalls fr mich ein Kaufgrund!

I’ve been using these SoundCore Q30 headphones for a fiew weeks now. They are comfy and I love that they can be paired with multiple devices. Noice Cancelation is not perfect – there was a guy using a wood chipper outside the window a few days back and I could ‘just’ make out the sound. However, considering that they come with a carry case, an app to chhange the characteristics of the headphones and the price point, these are a serious shortlist. I would not hesitate to buy these again.

Optik / Haptik des Soundcore Life Q30 Bluetooth-Kopfhrer

Also bis hierhin schon mal alles richtig gemacht!

Tragekomfort des Anker Life Q30 Bluetooth-Kopfhrer

Mein persnliches Resmee zum Soundcore Life Q30 Bluetooth-Kopfhrer

For the price the quality is more than satisfying. The clamping force is a bit small but it does the job. And the default sound is a bit bass heavy but you can change it in the app. Overall a very very good product especially for the price.

I received the headphones in a case where the zipper was broken/stuck so I had to use pliers to open it up. That being said, the headphones are stellar. Bought a pair for a friend's birthday, tried them out, had to order myself a pair immediately.

    Best in price
I’ve long been a fan of anker/soundcore products. For the price they just can’t be beat. I’ve been using the Q20s happily for over a year now and they have more than sufficed. When these popped up I thought I’d give them a go. I’m one of these people who thinks 100 for headphones is a bit much and when I got the previous model compared side by side to the all singing bose model and frankly for the probably 10% improvement of the Bose they just didn’t sound 250 quid better.
The Q30s are way better than the Q20. The noise cancelling options are great and indoors mode cancels out most of my partner wittering away on the phone and any background noise (including the blooming doorbell).
I don’t really listen to a lot of music and certainly am no audiophile. What I can say though is that for under 100 these headphones are great. Brilliant noise cancelling. Good EQ options. Transparency mode is useful and fun. The NFC pairing and dual pairing is clever as well. It’s a shame you don’t get the shaped to fit case. Rather you just get a soft case with no custom moulding but it’s still a nice sturdy case. I’m too heavy to care about what they weight. I wouldn’t notice if they were made of lead.
They are very comfy though and don’t overheat my ears. For the price just do it. If you’ve been thinking about getting noise cancelling this is a great value set.

These are very good headphones. They sound as good as very expensive headphones.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGood headphones for a good price
I purchased these headphones as a pre-owned product. No sign of anyone even trying it on and the box was in perfect condition too.

Sound: The headphones themselves are good, although I’m no expert. While these are advertised as noise-canceling, even without it on they block out a decent amount of external sound. Not much sound seems to leak out either.

Fit: The fit is largish and although these are clampy-headphones the fit isn’t as uncomfortable as with the old AKG super-clampy ones I had. It holds fairly tight and won’t come off even if you shake your head vigorously, but it might move around a bit if you do that much. They do look very large on your head but it’s not a bad look per se.

Usability: They connect instantly and easily. I’ve tried them on my phone and on my PC via a Bluetooth 5.0 stick (specifically Asus USB-BT500). The voice that informs you of the battery level when you press them on is also useful, but I haven’t yet had enough use to have experienced the battery emptying. The noise cancellation is automatically on in the “Normal” mode, but it’s quickly deactivated by putting your hand on the outer logo of the right ear for 2 seconds, with a voice informing you of the “Transparency” mode. The headphones also come with some sort of a premiumish travel bag.

    Great price/performance ratio
The Anker life Q30 headset is a great performer for a bluetooth ANC headset.

It is pretty well constructed, comfortable. I found the sound to be good, better than my bose QC 35ii, the ANC is also pretty good even if it is a touch below the Bose.

Soundstage is wide for a bluetooth closed-back, sound signature is bassy out of the box but the EQ within the app allows for a much more balanced sound (I choose the Acoustic preset EQ) as well as multiple settings for the active noise cancelation.

The Anker were delivered in a solid case with a USB -C cable and a 3.5 mm cable that I still did not use.

Physical buttons are handy, and allow to switch on and off the headphones, to switch from Normal, to noise canceling, to transparency mode (I found this former mode to be also good, and you can also active it touching the right earcup with the palm of your hand for 2 seconds).

Other physical buttons give the possibility to turn the volume up and down, to switch tracks and play/pause your music. Overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase as I find the price/performance ratio to be trully awesome even impressive.

No comments about the phone calls fonction as I only use the Life Q30 to listen to music, I read that the last update considerably improved the microphone sound though.

Overall 5 stars rating as you can’t expect much better for such a low price. Well done Anker !

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSeems Grea
The seller opened the package and placed a piece of paper with hand written order id. I wish that they didn’t open the box to put order such information on a small piece of paper with hand writing. Other companies will tell their customers not accept such product with open box and stuff added that do not belong. It kind of spoil the experience. Also the product and package smell like deodorant or fragrance which is a bit weird.
The product itself seem new and my first impression about it is good.
