But…
Is it any good?

Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should take a closer look… …
Packaging :
It arrives in a lovely, shiny, professional, retail ready box.
The level of packaging is not excessive, or profligate, and is just enough to keep the product safe, and out of the box in good condition.
It makes a very good first impression.
Recycling :
Most of the packaging can be recycled, including the inner contents.

Build Quality :
The build quality is very good.
It feels chunky, well put together, and solid.
It feels, and looks pretty durable.
There are no visible flaws, no ragged edges, no mould marks, and no gaps.
No telltale rattles, or squeaks that would give away poor workmanship.
It all looks very professional indeed, with all the junctions being beautifully finished.
It’s all nicely done, and looks the business.
Features :
The spy camera can watch the video in real time on the mobile phone, the pixel of the video can be set to 4K/1080P, or it can be recorded on the SD card, and the video with time and date can be downloaded, and the downloaded pixel is 1080P.
The shape of the hidden camera is a smoke sensor, which can be installed on the ceiling or wall, which is very convenient to install, and the shooting angle is 160-degree wide-angle, and the monitoring range is very wide.
Built-in 12 “non-luminous” infrared LED lights, can see up to 30 feet at night in complete darkness. And the pixels are very high-definition during the day, so you can see the situation at home in all directions.
Motion Detection
WiFi Hidden Camera has motion detection and mobile phone alarm functions. You can also manually set the sensor sensitivity. After the camera detects movement, it will send an alarm notification to your mobile phone.
ZUNHAI security camera attaches great importance to the privacy of customers. After the camera is connected to a mobile device, other mobile devices cannot connect to the camera signal unless it is shared with other mobile devices.

It is as easy as following the well written, and easy to follow instructions.
It does not take a long time.

We had it up and running within half an hour, and it produced some terrific, steady, and great quality video.
It was a joy to use, and was simple, easy, and intuitive to work.

This camera definitely has some good points. I like the magnetic fixing plate which makes on placed makes installing and removing nice and simple, something you will need to do a lot with the battery life not being too great. You can line up the camera for the best angle and view on your phone via the app, setup of which was pretty straight forward without having to disable 5g. You can insert your own micro SD card (up to 256Gb) or there are paid for cloud services. Picture quality is ok but response is quite slow, app is fairly intuitive. Overall a reasonable setup and a nice idea for basic home security and monitoring.
This home security/spy camera is great. It has 4K HD Recording quality end is very compact if you want to keep it as a hidden camera. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use. You can connect it to your phone for easy viewing. Amazing quality and I highly recommend this product.
Pleasantly surprised even thou it not quite a normal looking detector.
Firstly very impressed with the magnetic connection between the main hub and the ceiling plate very strong and makes it very easy to install, recharge.
Really happy that you get a nice long usb charging cable brilliant.
I had to download an app to watch the camera with which took seconds very happy and both the instructions manual and site are very well written and very easy to follow impressed as I am not a tech person.
I had to find a SD card to record which fitted very easily and very happy that you get a usb stick to download the material to if you don’t want to clog up a pc.
Very all very impressed and love being able to securely watch my kids when I am away and the price point is ok at 58 ad you get a lot and I was able to install within mins longest part is the app
There are numerous uses to which this spy camera can be put – not all of them legal!
We’ve decided to use it as an anti-burglar device – or at least for capturing any would-be burglar in action. (It is my sincerest wish that it will never be needed for this purpose.)
Disguised as a smoke alarm, it won’t ever be spotted, and the picture it captures is more than acceptable. Motion detection and night vision are all a part of the package, and for the money, it’s a little marvel.

I like design of this camera as it’s look like smoke detector, so it’s actually very good to spy without anyone knowing.

for the price of 47.59 I would really recommend it.
The camera looks exactly like a smoke detector.
So no one would even suspect that it’s actually A CAMERA!
I’m surprised in fact, at how much it looks like the real thing.
The picture quality is wonderful, Its very easy to set-up, takes about 10-15 minutes with installation.
The app is easy to download, easy to run and easy to navigate, you literally set up the entire camera basically from the app, including the settings and notifications that you would like, and you can view it from anywhere.
Even if your camera is at home and you’re away on vacation, you can view the recordings or live feed from right where you are via the app.
From installation of the camera itself to the setup of the app & adding the device, it was super simple. Makes the whole experience so much easier. The quality is good and the design is perfect for blending in with the surroundings. No obvious parts to suggest something else is going on.
Not too sure on what activities this can morally be used for but I am actually using it for my hallway as a way to check security when I’m away. It’s nice to have this option for a few days with the built in battery without the need for hard wiring cameras etc in which can make your home feel more like a prison. This avoids that.
This is designed to look like a smoke alarm which is attached to a ceiling and is there to watch over you without giving itself away. And it does a pretty good job in doing just that.
It’s about 110mm in diameter and about 25mm deep, becoming about 32mm when attached to the magnetic clamp which is screwed to the ceiling or wall.
There’s a little arrow on the body of the unit which shows the direction of the camera, although if it’s up on a ceiling then this can really point in any direction.
To use this you need to slot in a microSD card and download the app using the QR code in the leaflet booklet.
Once the app is installed on your phone and opened you should format the SDcard (as instructed).
You then have to connect the phone to the spy camera using your internet and by following the instructions. Once connected, which should take seconds, you’re able to change settings in order to get the camera to work the way you want it to.
The camera can be attached to a ceiling or a wall using the fittings which come in the box. You simply screw the magnetic bracket onto the wall/ceiling then fit the camera to the magnetic bracket once the battery is fully charged. The magnet holds the camera firmly in place.
The internal 5000mAh battery charges up in a few hours and gives you a good 20 hours of recording. Although this number changes depending on the settings you’ve chosen. You get a long USB charging cable in the box but you don’t get a plug, you have to supply that yourself. A normal phone charging plug should do it.
The camera is remarkably good, giving a great image of what it sees. It has a motion detector which, when activated in the app settings, will record what ever the sensors pick up. Also, in the settings, you can get notifications sent to your phone when motion is detected, which is great.. Pressing the green button will show you exactly what is being recorded by the camera.
You can record the footage onto the Micro SDcard or on your phone.
There’s a lot more you can do in the settings, just browse around and get used to the settings, which is pretty easy to understand really. Even I understood it all.
It’s quite strange to see a birds eye view of yourself walking beneath the camera, weird seeing my bald patch from above, honestly. But the image is crystal clear and everything on the video can be easily seen.
It has night vision too, which gives clear image, if black and white, but nice and clear.
In all, a great hidden camera which fits in amongst other sensing devices attached to a ceiling. I have two sensor (smoke and Carbon Monoxide) plus two fans so this fits in undetected by strangers eyes, which is what you want really.
A great idea, a well made device and some cracking footage to be recorded. and at less than 50.00 it’s money well spent.
