The Aire postbox is produced by Burg Wächter and is of a contemporary design with three windows. This is a top opening post box with an extra wide slot and accepts up to A4 size envelopes. This item is manufactured in tough stainless steel to give a great looking and very hardwearing finish.

Looks great and plenty big enough
This post box looks great , definitely looks more expensive. Can easily take small packages . The lock works well and it’s easy to open.

Does the job

Great value for money I ordered the black version looks stylish with my black front door .
Build Quality Issues
The stainless sheet used in construction is rather thin but the biggest issue is that one of the two top hinges has been spot-welded at 45 degrees to the vertical! Whilst this hardly shows when installed on the wall it does mean that the lid is a very loose fit horizontally and will need a small sleeve on the hinge rod. Yet another disappointing Chinese quality control issue.

Nice and secure with bigger screws.
The unit is solid enough but the screws supplied are very short and quite slim. I replaced them with bigger rawl plugs and screws to make the installation more secure.

It’s a letter box and that’s what I’m using it for. It is a good design and made from strong materials. I’m pleased with it.
GREAT PURCHASE
Living near the sea it was time to purchase another post box as the sea air had rusted my current one.
This item arrived very quickly and looks like it cost a lot more than the actual price.
Hopefully as its galvanised it will last a little longer than the last post box I had.

This was installed to try and stop the dog going mad when the letter box was used. It’s a good quality item, the screws supplied with it are weak and shredded with a cordless driver so be careful when screwing it in. I changed the screws for proper ones and it does the job and the dog is much calmer now.

Pretty post box, the only issue is that the lock started sticking free a week but a helping of WD40 has sorted i
much better than my last postbox
like the fact that it loads from the top so it is easier for the post to be posted and it holds more than my last box. Post appears to be dry even after a downpour.

Good value does what it says!
It’s been up for two days in pretty torrential rain and so far appears to be keeping the mail left inside pretty dry. Things feel damp but that’s just because the air is damp rather than the box leaking! Seems solid and long wearing. Very happy!

previous I had one for my warehouse, that was cheaper than this one, but I do more prefer this one, even this is more expansive. the only thing can be improve, if they can put the magnet with the top lid, that would be much better.
Very pleased but with box, but earlier comments about needing to space from the wall are quite correct; a couple of tap washers per screw and some longer screws easily fixes thing. Also if you have a brick wall, you may want to put some small rubber bumpers on the top to avoid it getting scratched as it will hit the wall every time you open it.
Both are tiny things and it’s disappointing the manufacturers haven’t picked up on these and include some plastic or rubber spacers and bumpers – they will cost next to nothing.

This unit is excellent value for money, secure and a good size.
Good Quality
This letter box is very stylish and of good quality metal. The only thing I would recommend is that you use better screws when attaching it to the wall. We are very pleased with it.

A well made mail box,holds quite a lot of mail is waterproof,easy to install and use. The box arrived on time and is value for the money.
Large, sturdy
We use this internally in our office for staff to drop confidential documents in, so ours has never been outside, but it is well made and nice looking.
