Overall I’d recommend this kit for excellent value and performance. The display is crystal-clear and the video reflection- and distortion-free. At roughly half the price of other glass screened prompters it’s hard to criticise.
The assembly instructions could be clearer, or at least a bit larger, but it’s all resolvable.
The free Android app should be available on Google Play rather than requiring a security bypass, and its Bluetooth connectivity is a tad flakey. It wouldn’t work at all on my (admittedly elderly) Galaxy Tab 3, but works on a spare Huawei P30 Pro, except for occasionally requiring me to restart the app to reconnect. In fairness, this has never happened during filming.
In use, the remote works well, making it easy to operate scrolling while speaking.

I have been using the teleprompter for two weeks and I have no complaints about its use. we do little newscasts and my eight-year-old daughter doesn’t look like she’s reading a text. The remote is well recognized by my android phone. the small photographic tripod is of very good quality and the different adjustments are pleasant. The rings for cameras are very practical and allow not to have light leakage. The software is easy to use and you can import text via windows when the phone is in link mode. The speed adjustment would require a little improvement because you have to type out text to do it on the phone and the remote control is not very precise on this point. Nevertheless it is a very good product with a nickel quality price ratio. there are even slots for the lamp on the case and the appropriate screws are provided. Very good products. Customer service is friendly and responds quickly.

I bought this product to help the presenter of short form video content get through his lines. It’s perfect.

It’s very easy to set up and took less than 20 minutes and linked up with my tablet (Lenovo m10) with no hassle at all.

I was worried that it may be too heavy and damage the lens on my camera but it’s pretty light and causes no problems

It works perfectly, if you’re looking for a teleprompter I can personally recommend this one.

Although I’m generally pleased with this purchase, it works precisely as described and as needed, I have to address certain issues I have which I feel others should know before making a purchase decision. The teleprompter itself I have no issues with. The construction, although almost entirely plastic, is sturdy and solid enough that I feel confident of it’s durability, so long as I don’t abuse it or bash it about. The mini tripod stand for use with a mobile phone is a very nice touch and has a nice solid feel to it. I can certainly see that accessory being of value to people who regularly vlog by means of a mobile phone or small, lightweight vlogging camera, although you certainly wouldn’t expect this to hold a mirrorless or DSLR without falling over.

I like that if you’re using a mirrorless or DSLR that the camera is attached to the unit by means of a metal ring that screws into the filter mount on your camera lens. So long as you have your camera on a proper tripod you will have no issues with the whole assembly falling over, even if using a tablet as the device for projection onto the screen. This does, of course, mean that your lens is bearing the weight of the unit and mobile or tablet, but the unit itself is quite lightweight.

My issue, then, is with the software. The instructions direct you to download the teleprompter app from the Google Play store, where you very soon find it isn’t actually available there. Further scrutiny of the instructions reveals you need to go to their website to download the APK file for installation. Basically, you have to sideload the teleprompter app, which is never a good sign and not very secure either. Having taken the plunge and side loaded the software, I felt some aspects were lacking, especially the remore control feature. Getting the app to find and pair with the remote almost becomes an exercise in divine faith. On the occasions where I HAVE got the remore to connect it works well enough, but it’s certainly not the one-click connect option that it SHOULD be for a Bluetooth device. I would advise looking at other app options that ARE available from the Google Store. Elegant Prompter is a good free option, but, alas, you forego the option of using the remote control. I’ve not yet looked at paid options to see if the remote works with third party apps.

So in all I’m happy with my purchase, I just feel the prompter app is sadly lacking, you shouldn’t be having to sideload an app for something in this price range, and getting the remote to actually work is way more arduous than it should be…

Superb customer service. I bought this but was frustrated that I couldn’t use my cameraphone in landscape mode, because the fitting for the phone on the back doesn’t allow the camera on a 13cm high phone to reach the camera hole in landscape orientation. However, the company were sympathetic and very helpful, and replaced it quickly with an even better one that does do the job – without charging me extra! Extremely excellent customer service! Would definitely recommend their products after this experience.

I’ve got this setup on my Sony FDR-AX53 and Huawei Mediapad T8 (all purchased from Amazon) with PromptSmart so text automatically moves as you speak.

This teleprompter is a bit cheaper than the alternatives I had looked at. It comes in a felt bag for easy portability. The materials feel a bit flimsy but this is something that should be treated quite carefully as it has a half-mirror. It would be better protected in a hard camera case and I might get one for the future. It was easy to set-up with my tablet and a DLR. It is great for doing my tutorial videos and saves me looking to the side when I am recording. Now I can record direct to camera. I still need to work on my delivery but that isn’t a problem of the teleprompter. The remote is easy to set-up and intuitive to use which is important as that is the last thing that you want to be thinking about.

The kit comes nicely packaged and easy enough for you to carry with you and great for convenience, Works well and makes life so much easier when using this to make vidieos especially if you plan to sue and script. Can be great for making wokr videos too, a quality product at a good value price

I think this is an excellent product. The only downside is an assembly manual which has almost unreadable small print. Just the same I managed the assembly without too much difficulty to use with my DSLR. I don’t know how it would function with a smartphone as the camera but I’ve no reason to believe it would be unsuccessful.

One slight criticism, it was a little fiddly to put together and get working. However one you have figured it out, you will have no issues. Instruction is basic, but I have seen a lot worse. Plus most techies don’t read them. That is why most companies tend to provide basic stuff.

Once its set up, it works extremely well. Easy to use and produces really good result. It offers a really good value package, which is very impressive. Please dont mis read this, it is a affordable product, so you are not going to get the same build as something costing Thousands. However, it holds it own and does the job.

My last teleprompter was a tablet attached to a table with bluetack! This handy device is a lot more professional! You receive a small tripod, the teleprompter and various bits and bobs that allow you to attach different sized phones or tablets. It isn’t too difficult to set up although it’s a bit fiddly and the instructions aren’t great. Once it’s all set up it works extremely well. You can adjust the size of the text and the speed. I have rubbish eyesight but even I was able to set it up so that it worked for me. You receive a remote control which is a massive help. It means you don’t have to get up to adjust the speed etc.

Home videos has always been something i have been interested in, im fascinated with how youtube bloggers do it and have toyed with the idea of making a few informative youtube videos myself. This is where this bit of kit comes in handy. I have a terrible memory, especially when im in front of a camera, and my mind goes blank, so this prompter is a great aid. I can use this to prompt me/remind me of what im wanting to say without me forgetting or waffling! As of yet, i havent uploaded any videos but this kit has been so helpful in letting me practice and get used to how to do it before i actually upload.
its an iso/android prompter, 10″ large screen, comes with a vlogging tripot kit, it supports smartphones/DSLR cameras vertical and horizontal shooting.
This is the first time i have used one of these prompters, a tablet or smart phone go underneath the glass on the stand, it then reflects up onto the glass and you read the writing whilst its record, i use a camera attached to the back using one of the 8 attachments to make sure it fits correctly so no light gets through. There is a remote that can be used to play, pause , forward or rewind the writing as you read it.
Like i said this is the first time i have used one of these and i found it very easy to set up and connect it. Ive had a lot of fun practising with it, and i know its going to be one of those aids that i cant do without.

This is pretty much a standard teleprompter and it works fine with the phone or a tablet.

If you never use a teleprompter you would need to download and application to your phone or tablet and then put your script on that. The reversed script in the application then show the correct way in the teleprompter glass you to read it.

This is typical of teleprompter’s but where this particular one shines, in my opinion, is with the little remote control that allows you to stop and start the associated application and also crucially to change the speed of the texts as it is scrolling.

This makes it incredibly easy to use because you can have the text scroll at a pace that suits you and if you wanted to have a pause you can slow down the script or even stop it.

The one negative point that I would make about this is the instructions which are incredibly tiny and do not give adequate instructions on how to fit a camera, normal DSLR mirrors, to this teleprompter.

I had to look on YouTube to find out how to do it. It’s incredibly simple when you know how the instructions don’t tell you how! There is a filter adapter already in the teleprompter when you get it and you slide that down and out and then put a filter thread adapter onto your camera lens and then slide that filter adapter back into the slot in the teleprompter.

However that’s a minor detail and did not affect the quality of the screen of the overall unit, which I think is very good.

I actually made one of these recently for use in a job but this is far superior to my version. Its a very simple setup allowing you to create a teleprompter using a phone or small tablet and it works very well. The materials are decent and its portable enough to carry about with you on a job. I will be using this for videos in the near future and will update how it works in practice.

The included remote control, together with the Best View app that is recommended allows you to control the speed of the script and the design is such that you can use a wide angle lens. This would be a good piece of kit for any content creator.

My wife was due to deliver some online presentations and training courses. Previously she’s just used a standard webcam on top of her monitor but that meant when she looked at her notes she wasn’t looking at the webcam. Personally I find it feels quite unnatural to stare into a webcam anyway. So I thought we’d try this to see if it would help, and it did massively.

I set her up with the teleprompter and my camera (Sony A6400) as a webcam attached to her PC. I used a 10 inch Android tablet in the teleprompter. She experimented with a couple of different setups. For long training sessions with lots of notes she used the Moman app, which works really well especially with the supplied remote control. She used it more for notes than an actual script but the principle’s the same and it meant she could always see her notes while looking right into the camera.

We also tried using an app that connects the tablet as a second monitor to the PC (see SpaceDesk and SuperDisplay in the Google Play store). This worked well in two different setups:

    1) Putting her presentation on the teleprompter meant she was looking right into the camera while talking through the slides.

    2) Putting the Zoom / Teams / Google Meet / whatever call on the teleprompter so she could look people in the eye while talking to them.

Physically setting it up was a bit of a challenge but that’s more to do with limited space than the kit itself. I didn’t use the supplied tripod, ending up with a bit of a cobbled together arrangement made from a monitor stand, clamps, etc. but the end result worked out really well. I like that it has cold shoe fittings on top for lights, mics, etc. although I didn’t need to use them in this case.

The overall result was 10 times more professional. Highly recommended.

This tablet teleprompter kit will help you keep your eyes focused on the camera while reading your script for you to deliver a natural video recording.

A teleprompter comes with a reflective screen that is typically placed in front of the video camera lens which is mounted directly underneath the screen where it displays the script. This allows the camera to shoot through it without visually affecting the video. This teleprompter from MOMAN has a 10-inch full-frame rectangle screen that supports both phones and tablets with a maximum size of 11 inches. It features a 70/30 beam split glass for good light transmission and a reading range up to 10ft, depending on the size of the tablet you use as the text monitor.

Using the remote control that it comes with and the brand’s official application which is the “MOMAN Prompter” you can easily edit and adjust the scripts that you are going to read making this kit perfect for YouTube video shooting, KOL programs, interviews and more. The app features centring the scripts, editing the font size, and changing the background colour. It is compatible with iOS and Android devices, just search it on the play store or the app store, install it and you’re good to go.

Upon purchasing this teleprompter kit, you will be receiving a vlogging tripod kit inbuilt with one 360adjustable ball head with 1/4″ thread to attach the teleprompter, and one smartphone clamp for any kind of smartphone. It also comes with 8 adapter rings with 49mm to 77mm sizes and 6 foam shading rings with different shapes to prevent unwanted lights from sneaking around.

This is a great addition to my vlogging equipment. The teleprompter is well built and feels compact. It weighs 1.22 kilograms so you really need a strong tripod to hold this. The tripod that it comes with is good but small. Its screen is big enough for me to see what I am reading which is ideal. Just a tip when using this kit, adjust the lens focus if you are going to use a full-frame camera shooting to prevent the image vignetting. You should use a separate tripod if you’re going to use a camera for shooting to hold it more and prevents the camera from falling.

Overall, this is a great piece of equipment if you are progressing in video recording and vlogging, it is good value for money and I would highly recommend.

This is a review of the MOMAN Tablet Teleprompter Kit. It comes in a box with assorted adaptors for attaching either cameras or smart phones or camcorders. The idea is you get your script or whatever sorted on a tablet (I am using my small Fire tablet) although our daughter has checked it out – very nice of her! – and she is using her own tablet which is slightly larger then mine as she intends to borrow/use it for her vlogging stuff which is also very nice of her yet again! As well as a range of assorted adaptors, instructions etc there is also a very natty little table-top tripod that is well made that has extending legs that work well plus a nicely made ball and socket type head with standard screw thread, a wireless remote control (takes two AAA batteries, not supplied) plus a nice drawstring black valet type material carry bag to keep it all in. The device is simple enough: by using the iOS-Android “MOMAN Prompter” APP as outlined in the instructions, this lets you choose fonts, choose sizes (handy depending on how close you are and your eyesight) background colours etc. and with the wireless remote you can control the speed of it scrolling through among other functions. The device comes with a selection of assorted different threaded filter type rings you attach to your camera lens – in sizes ranging from 49mm – 52 -55 – 58 – 62 – 67 – 72 – 77mm – so quite handy if you use different cameras plus assorted foam type masks for use with smart phones to hopefully cut out any stray light or ‘ghosting’ effects. The glass/mirror effect is a 70/30 ratio split and does work okay and it’s perhaps as near to being as good as the type used in broadcasting but obviously on a smaller scale and seemingly aimed at the amateur market as reflected in the price. It goes well and once sorted, out does very adequate job and saves having to keep looking down at a script. NOTE: I should point out that the ‘instruction manual’ is possibly the smallest I have come across – I have included a photo to give an idea when compared to a ‘throw-away’ cigarette lighter for scale – so for anybody with sight problems, this might be bit of a challenge but in our case we did have to use a magnifying glass at one point and hence my 4 star rating.

Perhaps as near to being as good as the kind used in broadcasting

It’s a teleprompter which allows me to read off my iphone screen and straight into my camera without interruption or anyone realising I am reading from a script. It comes with its own tripods, screen, clamps and remote control.

I found the setup is easy, though instructions are basic and I set it up to read from my iPhone to which I had added a script through an app on the Apple store and my camera attached to the rear of the teleprompter being a Canon R6 with standard lens. The teleprompter can be attached to most camera lens on a mirrorless or SLR.

The remote allows the text to run and there are varying speeds forwards and backwards. The text is magnified to a certain degree which helps those short sighted and don’t wish to wear glasses.

I liked it and after a few hours practice with both the app and teleprompter I felt quite confident in using it.

This smartphone teleprompter kit is very helpful and works with Huawei and iPhone phone. Has remote control, is very lightweight what I really like when I’m using. This remote control and application with which you will have to connect provide you the option to easily edit and adjust the scripts. Has 24mm wide angle lens but only for APS-C cameras. Coming with very helpful 8pcs lens adapters, 49,52,55,58,62,67,72, and 77mm, for camera and 6pcs foam rings for smartphone to prevent any sneaking light, flaring or ghosting. Really awsome gadget.
Very good quality and price is reasonable.
    Recommend.
Thank you for reading and I hope this will be helpful when you will need one.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was tempted to deduct stars for the lack of an instructions manual. Unless you know what you’re doing you’ll struggle with setting up the different bits and bobs, but the product’s page description had a good amount of info on the different pieces.

This teleprompter is excellent, and the tripod is stable. The set up is lightweight, robust, and very effective. I had it set up and working in minutes (as I used one before). You’ll find plenty of video on the interne to help with the set up too.

Perfect for vloggers, teachers, journalists, or anyone who needs to record presentations or look as if they’re not reading. I used it to pre-record a couple of lectures and I only wish I had it when we first started making these materials. It makes the script really easy to read while still making eye contact with the lens so you end up with professional looking videos.

The app automatically converts my notes into a script that I can scroll through. The resulting camera/footage isn’t blurred, washed out, or cropped – I had a perfectly completed video by the end of my first take.

The remote connects easily and doesn’t disconnect in the middle of filming/scrolling. The tripod is sturdy as well and the attachment fit with my DSLR set up perfectly. Could also be used with an iPhone/Android phone set up for quicker filming.

A worthwhile investment if you record videos and the quality of the kit is excellent overall. Highly recommended!
