Did exactly what it says. My family and I used these whilst in florida no bites during stay. Then one family member lost theirs at end of holiday, the following day noticed two bites!
Omg so shocked first time I have ever been away and not come back with Mosquito bites (went to Crete) I’m normally covered these actually work I wore during the day and swimming and all night so impressed I even gave the other ladies in our holiday party one each lol x

Hard to say if these worked or not but we didn’t get bitten at all whilst on a recent holiday, so perhaps that can be attributed to these! My 5yr old daughter happily wore them as well 🙂
Many say good and also bad. It’s not really possible to know if they work. So far I haven’t been bitten whilst using them so I guess I can say their work but maybe I just haven’t been near any mosquitos!
You can wear these around your ankles, wrists or in your hair like a scrunchie. You only need to wear them in the evening as soon as the sun starts to go down. Each bracelet does smell strongly when first used but each one should last about 72 hours. In another way, if worn for seven hours each evening, then the bracelet will last for ten days. I used these in Spain, Greece and Mexico and didn’t get bitten. I did wear one on my ankle and another in my hair at the same time though to be doubly sure. I’ll be using these in Turkey in a couple of weeks.
However, I did not find them very comfortable to wear. I usually have the smooth yellow rubber bands which just feel more comfortable for me. This is purely a personal choice. They were very stretchy so easy to get on and off. Very bright and colourful. They must have worked well because any time I didn’t have them on I got eaten alive.
Well I certainly wasn’t bitten on my arms but sadly I was on my head so I still have to wear a hat camping. The grandchildren weren’t bitten at all!
These are the best mozzie bracelets I have used so far. I first used them a couple of year’s ago but then tried a different brand but they were not as good. These have a strong scent, which will last if you put them back in the bag after use. I put one on my ankle and one on wrist. Not used outside of UK. I am not sure they last 250 hours as claimed but they certainly are the longest lasting I have tried so far at this price point.
My family of 4 used these in Cape Verde for 7 days. Neither of my children were bitten during this time and they loved them so much they each had 2 on and kept asking for more. My one was clearly working throughout most of the holiday because my wife forgot hers and when I gave her mine I was bitten a couple of times. On the last day of holiday(day 7) they clearly wore off because I was bitten a few times even with them on. My wife found that they weren’t really effective and she had a number of bites throughout the holiday even with 2 on. They are comfortable and not noticeable when wearing them. Definitely worth a try.
My husband and I used these bands on a recent holiday and they work. The strong smell takes a bit of getting used to at first, but they stopped us getting bitten, so can handle the pong. Lasted well over the 11 days we used them. I would buy again. Great price too.
Mosquitos love me – I’m really allergic and usually have to use the nasty DEET sprays (which work but leave me sticky and smells gross). I tried these on a whim, I figured I could use them as hair ties if they didn’t work. But I wore one on my wrists every time I went out while I was in Portugal in the summer and I didn’t get bit once. Compared to my last trip to Portugal where I was bit to pieces. I buy these every time I go abroad now – they’re cute, look like accessories and protect me from mosquitos.
I still have a scar from a particularly nasty mozzy bite sustained last year. This year has been different, I have been on holiday in the Caribbean with a supply of these bracelets and, after 10 days, have sustained zero bites. This is miraculous! They come in a 5 great colours, have a pleasant smell (citronella) & are inexpensive, Highly recommended!
These actually seemed to work well on a trip to a temperate climate area. No mosquito bites. Surprisingly recommended.

Bought these to travel to the Dominican Republic, wore each band for around three days in and out of the sea before they began to lose their scent and I changed them. The smell is pleasant enough, not in any way offensive or invasive.
Whether my total lack of bites is a result of the product or other factors I’ll never know but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again given they MIGHT be the reason I’m bite free.
Two of my grandchildren and their father wore these for the week they were with us in Spain. They were certainly bitten less than usual but did comment that the “stink” of the bands must be what was keeping the mosquitos away!
My family and I used these when we went on holidays 2 years ago and not one bite. I had a few left over and gave them to my mother when she went away, my mother gets lot of bites and has bad reaction to them, and she came home with not one. So I have bought them again for all of us. We would all highly recommend these.
My mum and 2 aunts used these on their annual holiday to Bulgaria where they are usually bitten within an inch of their lives by mosquitoes. Not one bite this year! And my mum gave one to a lady who had already been there for several weeks and who was covered in huge bites. After she started wearing the bracelet she didn’t get bitten again. I am amazed how effective these were, well against Bulgarian mosquitoes anyway!
These bands are amazing. You can wear them on your wrist or ankle, sometimes I just put mine in my hair if it’s tied up. If I take it off for even a minute, then it’s likely a bite will appear! The complete easiest way to keep the mozzie’s at bay! This is a Fabulous Product & I highly recommend them.
I used this product for the first time when I went to Mexico last year. I get annihilated in Uk so took every precaution I could! In 2 weeks holiday I was bitten 3 times (rather than my anticipated 300!). I was amazed!!
I bought the bands again for my holiday this year around the Med. I got two bites when I wasn’t wearing the band. Now wearing, have received none. Environmentally friendly, give no reactions, easy to wear and colourful. Thoroughly recommend!
I got these primarily for my 2 children, 8 years old and 10 months old. My 8 year old was waking up in the mornings with mosquito bites on her arms. She wore 1 to bed for a couple of nights and hasn’t been bitten since. They smell pleasent enough and the scent lasts for ages as long as its kept in the packet when not in use. You can use these either just at night or all day but if you were wearing one all day the scent wouldn’t last as long. I got a pack of 10 and had 5 colours, 2 of each colour. If you’re looking for something that is easy to use, child friendly and doesn’t involve spraying yourself or your children with various repellent sprays then I would thoroughly recommend these. They can be worn round the wrist or big enough to be worn round the ankle as well.
I don’t particularly like the smell I do like the ease of wearing & the fact you can pop them back into the resealable bag to help it go on for longer. I haven’t been bitten once whilst wearing them &, believe me, mosquitoes LOVE to bite me!! You can wear on the wrist or ankle & they do appear to protect the whole of you!
Appear to work; scent is not overpowering, comfortable on the wrist or ankle; well priced.
Would be good to have choice of one colour but that is really irrelevant to their effectiveness
I usually get bitten to pieces, after two weeks in Mexico I only suffered 3 bites and I’m convinced that happened when I took the bands off.
I had one on my left wrist and one on my right ankle for the duration and changed them three times whilst I was out there (due to being in and out of the sea/pool so often) but I doubt I needed to do it that frequently

These keep the worst of the bugs away but didn’t completely stop me being bitten, even with one on each arm and leg! It’s the pesky tiny midges that aren’t affected by them.
I react very badly to mosquito bites – I still have wounds from a trip three months ago. These bracelets were fragrant but not offensive, individually packed , and easy to slip on. Did they work? I don’t know (and hence I am only giving them four stars). I kept well covered up, and used insect repellent whenever we were near water. And I was hardly bitten at all.

I have purchased them for going to Turkey but we haven’t been yet but I was getting attacked by fruit flies so I thought I would give it a go and it worked amazingly with them and the dreaded midge as I must have what they want they love me I can be I’m a crowd of 20 and they will attack me but so far so good so I’m hoping it’s as good with the mosquito when we go next month
I bought these for my daughter whilst I was visiting her down south. I placed one on the handle of the garden umbrella and another on the garden table and didn’t get bothered at all by any type of insects like I usually do. They don’t have an overpowering smell like some insect repellents. I’ve since bought another 2 packets, one for my daughter in Switzerland who was being bothered by mozzies and the other packet for a friend who was going camping in northern Scotland where midgies are a-plenty.
Took these bands to the south of France for our 3-week holiday. I found them easy and comfortable to wear. The mosquitoes kept away – mostly.
I’m always the family member who gets bitten on holiday. If there’s a mosquito he’ll find me. I have never found a product that’s truly worked until now! The body source repellents have literally changed my holiday experience. I wore one all the time and was never bitten which quite frankly is a miracle I couldn’t recommend these body source repellents enough and they look quite funky and you don’t even notice they’re there. Goodbye deet spray, plugins, burners, candles etc etc.
Fantastic product , I bought these for an holiday to Crete. My husband and I hire bikes and travel round the island and up into the mountains. Normally I get bitten within the first few days I always do no matter where I go abroad .
I put one on the first day and never took it off until I got home ( 7 days ) . Not one bite so of course I’m really pleased . My mother and husband also had them on and both never got bitten, although my mother did wear one round her ankle on a night too . She said she wanted to make sure Haha.
I didnt find that they had a smell to them and to be be honest tI wouldn’t of bothered me because they worked ,
They are comfortable to wear and you dont really notice them on .

Having been badly bitten by mosquitos on my last trip I thought I would give these a try. I kept one on my wrist night and day and added one to my ankle in the evening before going out for dinner.
I didn’t get a single bite. they are also good value for money as you get quite a few in the bag so I was able to share with family members. I would buy these again…
I took these to Burma (Myanmar) and didn’t get any mosquito bites. I used a spray as well, since there was a Malaria risk, so can’t say for sure if it was these bracelets that worked and not the spray (or perhaps they both contributed something). However, they are cheap and easy to use, so I plan to use them the next time I go away.
My kids who get bitten a lot whilst away in Spain loved these bracelets as they didn’t involve me standing them still for half an hour applying cream/spray and waiting for it to dry. Found they were effective whilst out and about but unfortunately the kids still awoke from sleep with an odd bite.
Would recommend, as better than nothing and easier to apply than leading branded sprays/repellents. Thank you for making my holiday even more relaxing.
I purchased these for my teenage daughter for when she attends the World Scout Jamboree in July 2019. What attracted me to buy these was value for money and that you wouldnt know to look at them that they were mosquito repellents. They look like funky bracelets in vibrant colours and fit a variety of wrist sizes due to the coiled design reminiscent of retro telephone wires. Each bracelet is individually wrapped so you can just open one as and when you need it. I can’t comment yet on their performance as they are not needed until next year.
These bands are excellent quality, brightly coloured and work brilliantly. If you are going to Florida (where we used these for) then don’t wait to get them when you arrive as you will probably be offered them during your airline transfer but at a fairly big mark up so instead of wasting your money as soon as you arrive at your destination why not get them in bulk and make a great saving. Thanks to the price it also means you can easily take spares in case you lose one when doing something on your holiday as this means you don’t have to panic when you find out it is missing.
I took a pack with me to the Peruvian rainforest, along with some 50% deet. They were fab! I found I could use 2 a day and generally put one round my neck (as a brightly coloured choker) and 1 on my ankle. (I didn’t not look stylish, but I personally loved the bright colours!)
Still got some bites, but I think that’s just what happens regardless of what you take with you!
Bought to use on the whole family for a week’s holiday. Kids loved the colours and although they only wore during the evening, hubby and I wore throughout the day in the pool and sea etc. He got bitten on the first night (wasn’t wearing a bracelet!) but no subsequent bites for the rest of the holiday once he’d put one on. Great value, easy to use, no nasty smell. Will definitely use again!
Arrived in time as stated on delivery. Good colours to choose from in the pack. My children wore them on their ankles and wrists and weren’t bitten at all. I wore the bracelet and only had one bite on my leg. You could only smell them if you sniffed them, and we swam and showered with them on. Lasted 10 days while on holiday. Very happy with these and wI’ll use again.

As a family of four I am always careful about protection from nasty bites when we are out and about. Having spent four days at Camp Bestival in Dorset a couple of weeks ago – I thought I would give the bands a try. I got to know about them from a Mummy of an autistic boy who hates sprays and having creams and lotions applied. Oh my word – I was not disappointed – they were brilliant. they come in a range of fab colours and look like the trendy little bracelets the kids like to wear. I thought they were great. No bites for me but my boyfriend had 2 bites while wearing them but once he had 2 on he was fine.
2 of our family have an allergic reaction to stings and bites. Sometimes resulting in the need for steroids to reduce swelling. My daughter bought these and wore them and did not have one bite or sting whilst on holiday. We have since become converts and have taken to wearing these bands on holidays and in this country during this summer. Trendy colours. One on wrist and one on the ankle. We will be stocking up again.
Handy bracelets to have. I wore one on my ankle and one on my wrist on the opposite side of my body. Travelled to India and only got bitten one evening when I was sat outside all night with my legs out.
Ive had these before- last time I didnt get bitten at all ( Thailand holiday) This time I have been bitten a couple times ( UK) but hopefully on holiday in Croatia they will work as expected. I could do with a smaller size as find after a day or 2 they fall of my wrist so now I wear on my ankle
Worked for me – Wore these in Morocco and didnt get bit once!! as I usually get bitten alot I wore 2 at a time just in case – used them as hair ties as well as on the wrist & ankle – will definitely be using them again on our next holiday. Each band used lasted the whole week – well as you could still smell the citronelle we presumed they were still working – excellent item
Used on our recent trip to Thailand in addition to Deet spray as an additional line of defense. Used one on ankle and one on wrist. I did get a few bites in 2 weeks so not sure how much these helped. Smell was ok and they are comfortable to wear.
The reviews are 100% spot on I wore these in Greece – on a wrist and an ankle – took them off for swimming or showering – worked 100% not one bite ! Seen people with bites on arms and legs and we didn’t get one – also took garlic tablet a month before hand which helped – fantastic would recommend 100%
Bought these for my Granddaughter who has been constantly bitten – I have tried all sorts of stuff to stop this but this is the first to work and she is delighted with them as she had not been bitten since wearing them. She actually wears them in her hair so it has a double use for her .
Would definitely recommend these and I will be getting then again for other family members.
Seems to b working well so I’m happy however Two hav snapped which is annoying and the bands themselves stretch very quickly and become really big and then slip off my 5 and one year olds wrist which not ideal.
Usually when on holiday we use a mosquito repellent spray but always end up still getting bitten. I though I would try using the bands as well as the spray. I was extreamlu pleased with the outcome. The bands very colourful and durable. They also have a pleasant lemony smell. Usually my partner ends up being bitten quite a lot despite using the spray but using the band as well we only had one bite between us. Will definitely be purchasing these for my next holiday.

I bought these for our summer holiday as I didn’t want to use a deet based product. I paired it with a natural spray from Decathlon as well. The first couple of evenings I was bite free but I got a few bites later on, perhaps the smell wasn’t as strong anymore or I didn’t put spray on as early on in the evening. It’s a great solution for a non-deet product and for travelling without too many liquids. Probably not 100% guarantee against moskitos but it’s still pretty good!
