Delivered so quickly from ordering. Not going away for another 5 weeks so don’t know if they work but they are as described. Would like to read iterate that each band appears to be valid for 250 hours not each pack of 10, so we ordered 3 packs when 1 pack would have done. Not sure how long they last for unopen d???
These are really pretty, light, comfortable and effective Mosquito Repellent Bracelets. When we wore them in xCaret ( a nature based theme park with plenty of jungle around us) in Cancun Mexico we did not get bitten. When we got complacent and forgot to wear them, we got bitten.
We were surprised to see others wearing them and they became a talking point. We all loved them and little girls particularly, as they are so pretty and comfortable to wear.
No nasty chemical odours either, just a pleasant natural scent. Conventional, old fashioned repellents melt nail varnish, which these bracelets do not, nor do they stain clothes or irritate skin or eyes. A very welcome break-through in Repelling Mosquitos. Ideal for the whole family.

I’ve worn one of the bands throughout our six day visit to Siena and am pleased to say that I haven’t been bitten at all. I’m not sure if this is all down to the band as none of the other people with me have been bitten either but I will certainly be using my bands again when we are in Italy later this year!

I have bought these ready for a holiday in August. I saw the reviews and couldn’t resist. They arrived promptly and even without opening them you can smell the citronella. I have given 4 stars for now as the delivery and cost is great. I will review again after my holiday.
They really do work!
Initially I was a little sceptical that these little bands would work, however as I am allergic to mosquito bites I am always desperate to avoid being bitten at any cost. All my family wore these bands for the duration of our holiday, as I was a little paranoid I will admit I actually wore 4, 2 on each wrist and 2 on my ankles, we could see many mosquitoes every evening and for the first time ever I did not get one bite, neither did my family wearing just 1 band, but I was taking no chances. I will definitely repurchase and recommend.

Fantastic! I have been so impressed by these bands. Having red hair I seem to attract every biting insect for miles and as I also work around livestock it can be a real problem. The bands are easy to wear and have reduced my bites by 95% at least. The fact that they are natural is a huge bonus as neither the animals I am handling or myself are being subjected to possibly harmful chemicals. Try them you’ve nothing to lose but the itch!
I have bought these bands for a previous holiday in Mallorca after being eaten alive the year before without bands and only got one bite the whole holiday when the band on my ankle had worn out. I wear one on my wrist and one on my ankle and they work well and look ok, even if I do smell like a lemon dishwasher scent haha. The reason for one less star is the 10 that just arrived had one broken packet meaning one wristband would be no good in a few days and I didn’t really need to open this batch until June. The only other fault is that in the pool they tend to fall off but i guess that’s no biggy eithe
Bright colours
Bought these for a holiday in June so can’t say if they work but they are great bright colours and individually wrapped. I have used similar before and as I am a bit of a mozzie magnet every little helps!
September/October Spain & Greece - 0 bites!
I wore these in Spain and Kos last year and did not get a single bite. I usually get a few bites, but I’m not prone to get completely covered like some people.
I was on holiday in September and October, so perhaps there wasn’t as many Mozzis around compared to the summer. Not sure if it was truely the work of the bands or just the climate!
Fairly discreet looking bands, multi coloured meant they are good to blend in with an outfit if you are fussed by that. Comfortable to wear. I found the smell to be very strong and offensive personally, but you get used to it within minutes.
I would recommend, definitely worth a try! Will be testing these out again in a different country in a different month of the year this summer!

I took these to western Australia and I certainly got far more insect bites whilst not wearing these bands. They definitely protected me against mosquitoes.
(I did have a problem with Bush bees though who seemed drawn to them).
That’s not a criticism as the bands did what they were supposed to do. It’s just something for people to be aware of. The bush bees cause very little discomfort compared to mosquito and midget bites so in all I was very satisfied.
Worked OK, but used in combination with insect repellent sunscreen/spray
My wife and I used ours on a 10 day holiday in Thailand. My wife is very susceptible to mosquito bites and wasn’t bitten once so will definitely use these bands again.
Only gave them 4 star rather than 5 as the bands were supplemented with insect repellant sunscreen during the day and insect repellent spray at night so can’t say if the bands are effective if used in isolation.
Thought I’d give these a try when I went to Thailand as I get attacked quite badly from the dreaded mosquito but I have to say for the first time ever they left me alone while all around me my friends were getting bitten alive. So I will definitely be using these bracelets whenever I go abroad where there’s mosquitoes…..they worked for me.

These work really well! Smell funny but if worn around your ankle you can’t smell it.. Worn all the time when I Greece and funny enough got bitten as soon as I landed back in the UK when I thought it would be safe to not wear them!

Brilliant for using with one on your arm and leg. The only thing is they don’t seem very effective after being in the pool a couple of times. I would suggest buying enough for 2 bands a day.
Mosi bands v Cape Verde
Just used these great little bands whilst on holiday in cape verde. Had no issues from any pesky friends and they appeared to work even when we went in the pool.

I have recently travelled to Spain and bought the bracelets as I tend to get bitten a lot without realising ( I never used to get bitten) until the next day where I have large unslightly itchy lumps on my legs, arms etc. I wore the bracelet all the time including at night. I had a few bites that didn’t itch or cause me any discomfort. I would definitely recommend, but wear one on tje wrist and ankle, they are easy to use without noticing.

These arrived promptly and worked well, although we did combine them with other anti mozzy products. My daughter wore hers proudly, I tended to stick it under my trouser leg. Great to pop on going out in the evening when too lazy to grease up with every other product. Would ( and will ) use again. Excellent bands that keep the mosquitos away in the Dominican Republic, but like all other band lose the strength after 3 to 4 days. Wish I purchased more as you do require 2 per person here.
I got bitten on one evening – the night I didn’t wear the bands! I wore one on my wrist and one on my ankle.
My only thought for improvement would be for them to be plaited rather than coils – people kept asking why I was wearing a hair band on my ankle.
Otherwise brilliant – will never travel without them again.

Excellent product. I went away to Dominican Republic for 2 weeks in July and used these bands whilst I was out there. I am delighted to report that I didn’t get bitten at all, not even a little nibble.
The smell is quite overpowering when you first put a new band on but dies down quickly and it was brilliant to be able to swim, sunbathe and shower in without having to worry about taking it on and off all the time.
My daughter and her friend took these to Malia and neither of them got bitten either.

One of the best purchases I’ve made on here. My husband and I went to Mexico for two weeks and didn’t get bitten the entire time we used the bands. We used a new one every three days and continued to wear the older one until it completely lost its smell. We usually get eaten alive by mosquitoes but this was our first time using these bands and we will definitely be purchasing them for future travels.

Great snazzy colours so the kids like wearing them! They work too, we definitely get bitten less and other bugs seem to bug us less, including wasps so I would not hesitate to recommend them. You can wear them as a hair band as well as round your wrist to keep the mosquitoes away from your face and neck.
First time I have used repellent bracelets. Went on Holiday, and for the first time I can remember, I only got a few bites – I even wore a bracelet on my ankle some evenings to ward off the mozzies. Have to admit that I hate the smell but it’s a small price to pay for not being bitten to within an inch of your life

I usually get loads mosquito bites on holiday and, as I get older, I’ve developed a really bad reaction to them – my last couple of holidays were miserable as a result. I’ve never before found a repellent that works, but hoping to avert another miserable holiday I asked around for miracle recommendations and a couple of people recommended these bracelets to me that I’d never heard of before. I purchased last minute from Amazon Prime and wore one on my wrist and one on my ankle all holiday, using in conjunction with Avon’s Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray. I’ve just returned from my holiday completely bite-free – the first time this has happened in my memory!!! I’m so delighted to have found a solution!! The citronella smell’s a bit weird, but I personally like it (probably because I know it’s keeping the mozzies at bay and they hate it!). I obviously can’t testify whether the bracelets would have worked alone without the Skin So Soft (or vice-versa), but I can testify that the two together were a winning combination for me – a complete life saver this holiday. I’ve finally found my miracle anti-mozzie solution – I never believed a bite-free holiday was possible! :):):)

I tried these bracelets following a recommendation on an online forum, as I get bitten a lot in my English garden, and react badly to the bites.
I was very pleased, they are effective, and come in individual sealable packs, so can be reused. I have not been bitten this summer yet!
The only very small issue is that they are only just big enough for me ( average size woman) – it would be great if they came in different sizes.

At present. In the Dominican Republic , normally I’m eaten alive , bought 10 for family of 4. Used 1 for each first week. Son 9 one bite daughter 9 no bites. Wife 0. I’ve had 2. So I have to say they are working their magic! I actually quite like the smell they give off , I have been using deet spray on the legs and all bites have been on legs , bands around wrist. No upper body bites. Truthfully a must buy for holidays. I’ll never leave home without them again !

Effective, we all wore them over a holiday abroad, not bites to report of, the fact that they are fun looking helps as it means they are not ‘un cool?’ for the kids to wear. I’d recommend them

Well I didn’t think it possible but they work ! Just back from a holiday in Dubrovnik and had been warned by a couple of colleagues just back how awful mosquitoes were- they were covered in bites . I’m always the “chosen one” on holiday for mosquitoes so was a bit apprehensive . Bought these – arrived really promptly- and have to say was rather cynical when I saw them . I wore one on my wrist every day and I have returned with not one bite! Have to confess to using three different colours on holiday to go with outfits! I suffer severely from insect bites in fact from one hour of sitting in the garden I had 5 on foot, thought I would give these a go as everyday use from sitting in the garden or going on walks and they worked brilliantly for me. My 4 yr old daughter loved the design and bright colours and the smell was not pungent.
Myself and my daughter wore one each and liberally sprayed ourselves with liquid repellent and received about 2 bites each, my wife wore 2 and soaked herself in repellent and ended up taking medical advice for the reactions which she took.
In the end I think that they worked for us and I honestly believe that nothing would have worked for my wife and that the number of bites which she received was no reflection on these bands effectiveness.
Great for keeping bite free on holiday. I used one on my wrist and one on my ankle to be extra safe. The colours are funky – we referred to them as our ‘rave’ bands and the citronella smell is lovely. I would advise changing after 4/5 days as i found they were less potent after that time.
Didn't get Japanese encephalitis
I bought these for a trip to Japan rather than paying to have the Japanese encephalitis vaccine as well as frankly not wanting to get bitten by one of the gigantic mosquitos they have out there. To be extra safe I wore one on each ankle and wrist and wore high strength bug repellent at dawn and dusk but that was probably overkill.
Anyways I only got bitten on the very last day when I wasn’t wearing these bands while waiting for a train to the airport before the crack of dawn.
I never have time to write reviews but totally needed to make time for this. I am ALWAYS ALWAYS the one to get a mosquito bite on ANY holiday. Greece, Maldives….. so I was bringing my 3 children for a holiday to Spain this year. Aged 7, 5 & 3. I did purchase some jungle formula DEET kids version as well as MAXIUM strength for me. I also bought room diffusers. I know!!! Case was weighed down with mosquito repellents more than clothes LOL…. I had researched organic repellents but spoke to our GP before going who said not a lot of substantive research to say that those products work. we were going away for 7 nights & I bought 2 packs of 10 bands and there were 6 of us.
I didn’t need to use room diffusers and didn’t need to use DEET on myself or the children. The little one ate hers when she had it on so I put her hair in a ponytail and tied it up with that. My 5 yr old wore hers round her neck (too cool for school) I had every intention of wearing 2 on each wrist & ankles lol…. but actually only wore one. The 1st night I put Deet on everyone but 2nd night went out with just bands. Totally delighted no one got bite. I didn’t reuse them I actually just put used ones round the buggy or maybe on an ankle. I opened a new one for everyone each night except my husband….. who, from experience, knows they are too busy feeding off me to bother him.
The hotel had a playpark so we were always out around dusk or early evening and went for a walk to the beach after dinner. We also ate al fresco most nights.
If you are prone to getting bites you understand how miserable they are I always got huge red swollen bites and the itch drove me crazy for a minimum of 7 days even with pirition.
However as I had never been to Spain I did do some research that said they had mosquitos but there may not have been anywhere we were.
The bands are lovely colors and smell lovely not at all offensive or overpowering. The girls didn’t mind wearing them at all. They aren’t too tight.
I would hate to suggest not taking other precautions and someone have a truly miserable time getting bite but I loved this product and loved that it was totally organic.
These bands not only look quite funky but they actually work! Every year I dread going into the garden as I get covered in bites, however after wearing a band together with a small amount of Avon Skin so Soft, I was amazed that I didn’t get a single bite. Be warned however, they don’t work against horse flies!
An aid in my war against mosquitoes!
What we really need is a way to make mosquitoes extinct! In the meantime, while I wait for that glorious day, I decided to put these bands to the test. They come in a selection of nice, summery colours and fit around any wrist or ankle as they are stretchy. They are quite comfortable and, in my opinion, smell really nice too (I like the citronella smell). I have shared them around the family and, so far, there have been no mosquito bites. It’s nice that you can re-seal them in the bag to extend their use as well. I am happy with my purchase and would buy again when I run out. Now if someone could just get a move on with the mosquito annihilation plan, I would be so grateful!!
I bought these ahead of a camping trip as my son and I always get bitten. They are easy to wear (we wore them on our ankles) and we didn’t get bitten once whilst wearing them. They come in an array of colours and last for 10 days. They smell quite strong at first but you get used to it.

Just back from Costa Rica, no bites on our arms at all four of us wearing bracelets. Should have used them on our legs though as we were bitten there. Might get some more for Sweden to see if they work as well on their mosquitoes and have also heard that citronella should deter ticks…

Brought this product for my holiday to Greece ,not once did I become dinner for any mosquitoes. Never took the bracelet off all week, still works after 8 days even midges say away. Buy it you won’t be disappointed.
Magical Moments
obviously with the mild uk weather this year, the mosquitos woke early. What can I say. These products are awsome. And no messy citronella candles burning. What I like most about them is they are Ultravoilet reactive (not that this is mentioned as a feature) but they look great under ultravoilet lights in the clubs. When the product starts to wear out (about a week) you can use the bands for other things. Stretch it really thin, use as string, not quite thin enough as cotton thread, but with leather needles.. But if you have hair, long hair and want to keep it off your warm club face, they make for a great stand in for hair bands etc. Get creative. I don’t throw the ones I use away, unless they are one of the darker non UV reactive (green ones). Some go in a drawer at home, others to recycling bin.
What an excellent product.
I get bitten by insects where ever I go, even the local park. I have tried nearly every product available, with a little success. I found these and thought why not, they’re inexpensive, look good so bought some. Last holiday in the Canaries I only got bitten once, and that was the only time I didn’t wear one!
I wore one on a wrist and one on an ankle, no problems at all. Because they are bright colours, I was able to persuade my son to wear them, no bites for him either, even sat out in the evening by water.
The resealable packs are great, just pop them back in at night ready for the next day. A slight smell when you first put them on, but it’s a nice citrus smell, not harsh chemicals.
I have been recommending these to work friends and family, a colleague survived Tibet with only 1 bite, and just bought some more for parents as Mum just told me she gets bitten every evening. I’m sure these will work for her too.

I never write reviews, but for these I am happy to! We were told by family we were visiting that the place we were staying was really bad for mosquitoes and so after some research I bought these. My wife and I wore them, as did my 4 year old and one year old, I genuinely believe they were the reason we didn’t suffer bites. The reason for this is that only day I got some bites was the day I went out running and I forgot to wear my bracelet- that day I was bit! I will have some for the family on every holiday now!!
These bands were great. Nice colours that my little girl loved and I didn’t mind wearing at all. I didn’t realise how long each band lasts so was really surprised after a couple of days when I read the length of time. I put them back in the sealed packets after but even if you didn’t they still smelt strong. I did use in conjunction with a spray but I usually still get bitten. If you keep touching them it will get on your fingers as all of these mosquito products do. I will definitely be using these again and recommend.

Tested them in the South of France last August (2016) and although the mosquitos were not as rife as the previous summer, they seemed to protect me, whereas those people who didn’t have them or spray any repellent did suffer from attacks.
Easy to use - even with children!
Amazing for our family – our 2 daughters looooved the bracelets as they saw them as jewelery. I’m not sure about usage with kids but to be honest this was a lot easier than spraying them with toxic anti moskito repellent. They were each wearing four (one on each arm + legs) and this kept moskitos out during our 2 week trip to southern Mexico.
Having lived in Africa and travelled a lot, this has definitely made it on my list of must have items for my trips. I’ll also be buying some as a gift for my friend going on honeymoon in December. Would highly recommend.
Quite Effective
I used these bracelets in India and they seem to work, although I found I had to wear them both on my wrist and ankle for them to be fully effective. When I wore one only on my wrist my legs and ankles got bitten.

Ideal for tropical areas
6 of us went to the Riviera Maya in Mexico for a fortnight and the bands did a good job of protecting us from mozzy bites. Some of us had no bites at all, and those who did get bitten only had one or two for the whole holiday. I generally removed mine for swimming and showering but they still worked if you kept them on 24 hours a day. The tour operators sold something similar but theirs worked out a lot more expensive. I would buy again.

Every year I go on holiday I get bitten at lest 4 times. This is the first year I have no bites. This i believe is all due to these bracelets. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the smell which is quite strong only downside. If you buy to avoid wasps they won’t work.

I was a bit sceptical about these having read some.of the reviews, however the bands I usually buy seem to have shrunk and I find them uncomfortable to wear so I thought I’d give these a go. When you first take them out of the packet the smell is quite strong but it’s not unpleasant so that’s no problem, they are comfortable to wear and the colours are nice too.
I generally get eaten alive quite regularly and have occasionally had reactions to bites resulting in antibiotic treatment so having an effective repellent is important to me. I’ve never got on with sprays because you always miss a bit so have always bought bands. I was extremely impressed that in the 10 days that I wore the first band, I didn’t get a single bite. I wore it pretty much 24/7, only taking off when I showered as I have very long hair and it got tangled into the band when I washed my hair.
The only downside I noticed was that over the 10 days the band stretched, so by day / night 7 it was quite loose and I woke up finding it had come off in the night which is why I’ve given 4 stars not 5. Having said that the effectiveness of the band can’t be faulted and I’ve now put my 2nd band on and hope for similar results!
At roughly 1 a band which lasts for 250 hours and can be taken off and resealed in the packet I think these are a great value for money and plan to purchase more so that I can have constant protection and avoid costly bite remedies and itching!

Always get eaten alive when abroad. Wore these all day & night for 10 days. 1 bite towards end of holiday. Never happened. Would highly recommend. I did swap every 3 days. Just to be safe however, cost out ways not being bitten every day.

So far so good, currently 6 days into my holiday in Cancun and haven’t been bitten and neither has my boyfriend (hopefully not jinx’ing things). i really liked these as did my boyfriend, we went on holiday to italy and they mostly worked. we still got bitten, but much much less. we combined these bands with a deet free spray.
Works ok!
Bought this because it was Deet free, product did as it was supposed to but you need to wear more than 1 and change them after 2-3 days. You will know when it’s time to change them
Clever little produc
I’ve bought these in packets of 10 twice. Once for travelling to Asia, once for travelling to Florida.
In Asia, I was in the actual jungle so I did get bitten. But not as bad as I would have done without these. They were brilliant around my ankles (especially when wearing sandals) as well as on my wrists. I would say, particularly with the widespread advent if Zika, to also wear a good mosquito repellent along with these but I think these are clever little things and would buy them again.

Purchased them because I was sick of being bitten- I must taste delicious!! I was sick of getting bites because not only are them are annoying they would swell up and scar for a couple of weeks. I have not been bitten whilst wearing the bands, I wear mine around my ankle Instead of around my wrist. It fits and I even wear them to bed. My only suggestion is that they were slightly smaller- but apart from that I’m a very happy customer!!
Best insect repellent I've ever tried
I couldn’t believe how well these bands worked. I react badly to insect bites so try anything to avoid them, having also had a baby this year I wanted to ensure she was also protected but didn’t want to use a lot of chemicals. These bands are perfect, neither of us got bitten while wearing them (over the course of 4 weeks), there was no nasty chemicals or smells and they were incredibly easy to use and store. By being able to reseal them in their packaging a single band lasted 5+ nights making them great value for money too.

These smell amazing and I haven’t been bitten since. The colours are also great and all my friends wanted one so I ran out quickly!!!! Only downside is if you stretch it a lot from Bordem and are a bit fidgety they can snap but still great value.

Wasn’t sure if the bands were working or if there just weren’t so many mosquitoes until I forgot to replace it after 10 days. I got badly bitten! So yes, they work! Because they stretch I put one round my ankle to stop my feet getting bitten.
Must buy, value for money
Recently went to Jamaica and used these bands on my 11 years old and 3 year old they work wonders, few bites here and there but nothing compared to the usual bites. only thing is, my 3 year old kept trying to bite the band I was a little worried as the bands really smell strong, over all a fantastic product.

I bought two of these packs for our family holiday in Cyprus. They were fantastic! None of us got bitten, whereas a year ago I bought another brand and we all got bitten. We were in the pool and sea most of the week and they still smelled strongly of lemon. We all put one band on a wrist and one on an ankle. I only changed each of mine once all week. Will definitely be buying more next year.

Really good, myself and my family used them on our recent holiday to Spain and got no bites while wearing them. Lasted well even after being in the pool the smell was still strong. Would definitely recommend and will buy again for our next holiday.

We used these whilst on holiday in Italy and they definitely seemed to make us less attractive to the mosquitos, we still received a few bites, but much less than normal. They are well packaged, and the individual packs reseal easily if you want to take them off. Several people have commented on the smell, but I didn’t find it overly strong or unpleasant at all and would definitely recommend them.

A very good produc
We have just returned from a holiday on which we used these.
I wasn’t very optimistic about how effective they’d be but I think they’re a very convenient and good repellent, particularly for children.
We all wore one and the smell is very obvious at first but does become weaker after a few days. I’m not sure I’d put much faith in their ability to protect for up to 10 days though. We bought 10 and I think you’d be wise to anticipate 5-6 days use out of them if you’re going to be in and out of swimming pools in particular.
The only reason I’ve given them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they can be rather irritating to wear. On a mans wrist they’re flexible but a little tight (not noticeably all the time, just occasionally). On a childs wrist they’re either a bit too slack or needed doubling over – at which point they become a bit too tight. Producing a child specific or adult specific range might resolve this.
If I was in an area where there were a lot of mosquito’s I might be tempted still to spray repellent on skin, particularly on an evening. Wearing the bracelets in bed can lead to them coming off your wrist if you move much in your sleep. That happened to myself and my teenage daughter.
Nonethless, for the price, they’re a very good every day solution for preventing the occasional bite.

Amazing purchase – I live near the river and am very tasty to mosquitos, often being bitten multiple times every night. However, since I started wearing these bracelets, and having also been on holiday to Florida, where the mosquitos were aplenty, I have been bitten precisely 4 times, rather than the 6-7 per day I was used to.
Admittedly, they do look a bit daft around your wrist, but I’m happy to live with a bit of bright plastic adorning me if it means no more horrible itchiness.
Excellent, even work on Scottish Midges!
Excellent, these even work on Scottish Midges. I live in a midge infested area and I always end up getting but when I am just popping out as it seems like too much trouble to put on repellent. This wonderful investment means I can pull one on quickly and I am protected. If you have bare legs I would recommend putting one on your ankles as well as they work brilliantly but the first time I wore one I got a few bites on my legs but my top half was completely clear of bites.
Gnat free. Beware of stripey intruders.
Bright colours. Seems to be reasonably effective although they seem to attract wasps if worn during the day.
We went on a picnic, everyone wore a bracelet, but got pestered by wasps. Ended up put 2 bracelets on a tree and watched the wasps congregate around the 2 bracelets.

I wore one of these bracelets for 10 days and deliberately went out in the garden late at night when the bugs were out (something I don’t normally do without spraying bug repellent all over me) and not one bite. I’m a magnet for bugs and without repellent spray can have 20 bites on on my feet and ankles and my husband gets not one. This bracelet is much better than having to spray repellent all over me. It does smell really strong of citronella, like you get in outdoor candles, but after a day the smell is much less. I was really sceptical that this product would work but so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Have not used these yet, but the were delivered quickly, well packaged. I have purchased them for me and my granddaughter’s aged 2 & 7 I am sure they will love wearing these bright fun bracelets. I will post an update once we return from holiday

My daughter reacts awfully to insect bites so I need a solution that I can use every day with no possibility of it affecting her health in the long or short term- so I avoid anything containing Deet as much as I can.
She absolutely loves thes bracelets (which she wears as anklets) and their fun colours. They are in resealible packets to keep the smell as long as possible when not being worn (eg over night) which is very helpful and the 10 day effectiveness estimate seems about right.
No more buzzing insects
I was really pleased with my mosquito repellent bracelets. Because they are coiled they can be used on wrists or ankles. I use them when I am in the garden, not as a mosquito repellent but as a general flying insect repellent. Really good at keeping flies, beetles and wasps away. I also use them when I am in my field with my horses and they prevent horse flies bugging me too. Great product.

I purchased these bracelets as the mosquitos absolutely love me. The pack has different colours, so if you wanted you could change the bracelet to go with different outfits, as they all have resealable bags. I’ve been wearing my bracelet a week now, 24/7 as its comfortable, you dont notice its even on. It will need changing after 10 days but I haven’t been bitten on my upper body at all. I have a few bites on my legs but maybe the answer would be to wear a bracelet around my ankle too. My younger daughter however hasn’t been bitten at all and she’s also had the bracelet on all week. I will definately be purchasing these again.
Mosquito Repellent Bracelets
I was sent the advertisement as Deal of the Day on Amazon by a couple of my friends. I have been very pleased with these and have given most of them to my friends particularly those who are going abroad for their holidays this year. Although I do not go abroad I do get stung when I go out into my garden. Even recently when I was only filling up my watering cans. These may not have been mosquitoes but they still bite you. I as recently as yesterday spent an hour in the garde early evening time pruning bushes etc and didn’t get bitten which is a miracle for me. Of course I was wearing two bands. There I think is recommendation for you. Thank you very much for bringing them to my attention. Thoroughly recommended
Four hours in a nature reserve and not a single bite!
I purchased 2 packets as soon as I saw them as I get troubled by mosquitos and midges to such an extent that I have been hospitalised in the past by insect bites.
I took two teenage girls to a nature reserve with marsh beds, woods and bogs and …… Not a single bite between us! They have a strong smell of citronella but we soon got used to that and hey…. THEY WORKED! Thanks very much.
PS the girls loved the funky colours too.

The bands are not too strong smelling and fit easily an adult’s wrist or ankle. I have been bitten by something (who knows what) when I was wearing it, but it definitely wasn’t a mosquito. That’s the only bite I’ve had in 2 weeks since wearing the bracelet.
Really cool way to avoid biters!
Haven’t used these abroad yet, but tried them one evening while star-gazing in our swampy back garden, no bites from the usual midges, mossies etc. They are already packed in my case for a long trip to Spain next week…..looking forward to wearing them. Really cool to look at, and they fit wrists and ankles well. They came well-packaged and on time, and I would recommend them for families as you can”t normally get kids to wear mossie protection, but these look like the stuff they wear anyway! I intend to use one to tie up my hair, as I usually get bitten on the back of the neck. Great value, as you get lots for your money!

Well I wore them and my daughters wore them. My husband didn’t. He got bitten and we didn’t, and usually I attract swarms of them!
The girls loved wearing them (there were some squabbles over colours!) Much easier than spraying them while they choke on the fumes.
I quite liked the smell too.

I wanted to tell the seller but lost his link. I have suffered from bites of serious nature all my long life.Just had two weeks in South of France wearing these-as did my grand daughter- we had hardly any bites. My daughter chose not to wear them and got covered in seriously nasty bites. I could not believe it.Such a simple solution instead of inhaling deet or non deet/citronella/whaterver.The money I have spent on ..and now here is the simple solution.it might sound crazy but the person who invented these bracelets deseerves a GOLD medal!! We found these to be really effective, along with a spray deterrent, I’m not saying we didn’t get any bites, but had been bitten considerably less than when we used a different brand of these bracelets.
I’ve purchased some more for later on this year, to a different destination, so I’m hoping they work just as well in the different climate.

I am a gourmet meal for mosquitos, so when I knew I was going to be out and about in rural Poland in the middle of summer I really wanted something that was going to keep me bite free. I’m also a fussy girlie and I do not like nasty chemicals- which obviously made my search a bit harder.
After reading reviews on here I thought I’d try these bands. I will never look back! No bites, no stinking of citronella all evening and best of all no chemicals. One band lasted a whole week- I did get bitten toward the end of the week, but it was on my chest while the band was round my ankle. Others in my party got majorly attacked by the bloodsuckers, and were in awe of my magic bands- highly recommend!

These were fantastic! I always get bitten so was wary when going on my first camping trip last weekend. Wore one on my wrist and didn’t get bitten at all. Gave them out to other people camping who also wore them on their wrist. One person got bitten on their ankle still so she wore an extra one on ankle from then on. No more bites for any one even though we were sitting out in the evening round the campfire. Have just ordered more for our holiday
We’ve used these all our holidays for our kids and ourselves and they’ve done a great job – sitting on the balcony, around and about through the day… all the usual holiday stuff. The only time we got bit was the time we didn’t have them on. They look nice when you have them on… you certainly don’t look daft at least! The kids actually wanted to wear them. We also wrapped them around the handles on the pram for our youngest and that seemed to do the trick. The scent seemed to hang about well too.
All in strongly recommend them.

I was sceptical as to whether these would work. However, I recently used them on myself (who usually gets eaten alive), my 3 year old son and my husband on a 4 day camping trip. I didn’t get bitten once and neither did my son. My husband got bitten a lot but he failed to wear his consistently. What was even better was that they didn’t smell over powering. I suffer from headaches with too strong a perfume and these were just fine. Finally my son loves wearing them! Great product, will buy again and again.
I usually get bitten by everything regardless of what I use to protect myself so was apprehensive about these, but during an entire week camping I didn’t get one mosquito bite. Really easy to use and I only used one for 7 days. Only issue was they didn’t seem as effective against Scottish midges.. But nothing ever is.

I suffer badly from insect bites (once had twenty+ bites on one hand when I camped near a pond in Wales & had to dip my hands in TCP for the rest of the holiday!)
Just worn these bracelets on my wrists whilst camping in the Preseli Hills in Wales and only got two bites – one on the ankle and one on my back. So while I can’t be sure they’ll work for everyone – they worked fantastically for me… either that or the marmite worked this time! People thought I was from a festival as well – so reckon they might even be ok on the fashion front 🙂
i suffer really bad with mosquito bites so have purchased these to wear whilst on my allotment on an evening. They do work well on and around my arms and wrist where I normally get bitten, however I was bitten on the ankle so next time i am going to put some on there too. they last for quite a while and are good value so fingers crossed they keep working!
Resolves holiday problems
Will update review once I have travelled abroad to really give these a try. But they take all the mess and upset out of putting mosquito repellent on kids. There are ten in the back we have two of five colours (blue,green,yellow, orange and pink) they say can last 250 hours per band as long as you resell the ouch they come in. Have tried the adult version last year and was quite sceptical however they did work we weren’t bitten at all.
