The bracelets worked in Venice with all the water at dusk there were a lot of mozzies and not one bite

Great product, individually wrapped and colourful. My family get bitten regularly when outdoors but these seem to do the trick. I bought them for when we go away and we may wear one on wrist and another on ankle but for general use at home one is working. They smell really nice, natural smell rather than chemical. They look cool as well. My 10year old son thinks they are fab. Will reorder more when we run out. They came really quickly too.

I have used this product several times.and find them fantastic for keeping me bite free.. the only problem I have had with some of bands in the recent pack I have received is that they have broken very easily when stretching them over my hands or feet.. to put them on..never had this problem before..otherwise excellent product..

I bought a pack of ten of these for a holiday in Greece. I hate being bitten and am usually a target, so I armed myself with these each time I went out in the evening (mozzies are more prevalent before dawn and after dusk I think). I know there were mosquitoes about as other holidaymakers were bitten, but I didn’t suffer a single bite. I put one on a wrist and, depending on what I was wearing, one around my ankle. They certainly give off a citronella smell but it’s not unpleasant. I wore one for a couple of evenings at a time, hanging it over the bedside lamp switch overnight to ward any off which might be in the room. I have also bought another pack since returning home, as I like to bike ride and often trails are through wooded/pond areas where mosquitoes lurk. I actually would prefer to have all black ones, or clear ones, maybe, or more muted tones like khaki, as they are a bit vividly coloured – but it didn’t bother me enough to not wear them.

Purchased these for a trip to Mallorca in May half term. I used one on my wrist and one on my ankle, as did my children. I always get bitten, and did not on this trip at all. Only reason I have not given 5 stars is I got bitten at home whilst wearing one on my wrist! However, this may have been almost used up (i.e. around or over the 250 hours of effective life). Probably need to test a bit more. But they seem great. Re-ordering for summer at home/in garden/camping.

THESE BANDS LOOK GOOD AND CLOTHES ARE NOT STAINED WITH SPRAYS, THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS ONE BROKE IN THE FIRST HOUR I WAS WEARING IT, WAS MY OWN FAULT I CAUGHT IT IN THE SLEEVE OF MY COAT, SO CARE IS NEEDED WHEN GETTING DRESSED, LEAVE THE BAND TILL LAST. TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH PURCHASE, HAVEN’T BEEN BITTEN WHILE WEARING BAND.

I’ve worn one of the bands throughout our six day visit to Siena and am pleased to say that I haven’t been bitten at all. I’m not sure if this is all down to the band as none of the other people with me have been bitten either but I will certainly be using my bands again when we are in Italy later this year!

I have bought these bands for a previous holiday in Mallorca after being eaten alive the year before without bands and only got one bite the whole holiday when the band on my ankle had worn out. I wear one on my wrist and one on my ankle and they work well and look ok, even if I do smell like a lemon dishwasher scent haha. The reason for one less star is the 10 that just arrived had one broken packet meaning one wristband would be no good in a few days and I didn’t really need to open this batch until June. The only other fault is that in the pool they tend to fall off but i guess that’s no biggy eithe

I wore these in Spain and Kos last year and did not get a single bite. I usually get a few bites, but I’m not prone to get completely covered like some people.

I was on holiday in September and October, so perhaps there wasn’t as many Mozzis around compared to the summer. Not sure if it was truely the work of the bands or just the climate!

Fairly discreet looking bands, multi coloured meant they are good to blend in with an outfit if you are fussed by that. Comfortable to wear. I found the smell to be very strong and offensive personally, but you get used to it within minutes.

I would recommend, definitely worth a try! Will be testing these out again in a different country in a different month of the year this summer!

Can only comment on look and delivery time, both of which were excellent. Will write a full review when I come back from the trip I bought them for.

I got bitten on one evening – the night I didn’t wear the bands! I wore one on my wrist and one on my ankle.

My only thought for improvement would be for them to be plaited rather than coils – people kept asking why I was wearing a hair band on my ankle.

Otherwise brilliant – will never travel without them again.

Excellent product. I went away to Dominican Republic for 2 weeks in July and used these bands whilst I was out there. I am delighted to report that I didn’t get bitten at all, not even a little nibble.
The smell is quite overpowering when you first put a new band on but dies down quickly and it was brilliant to be able to swim, sunbathe and shower in without having to worry about taking it on and off all the time.
My daughter and her friend took these to Malia and neither of them got bitten either.
An excellent product which I will purchase again for next years holiday.

Thought that these bands were a great idea, look like a colourful bracelet. Product arrived as per advised delivery time. Only given it four stars for the moment as haven’t been anywhere yet to test it properly. Partners daughter always gets attacked and she is really hoping these work!

I usually get loads mosquito bites on holiday and, as I get older, I’ve developed a really bad reaction to them – my last couple of holidays were miserable as a result. I’ve never before found a repellent that works, but hoping to avert another miserable holiday I asked around for miracle recommendations and a couple of people recommended these bracelets to me that I’d never heard of before. I purchased last minute from Amazon Prime and wore one on my wrist and one on my ankle all holiday, using in conjunction with Avon’s Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray. I’ve just returned from my holiday completely bite-free – the first time this has happened in my memory!!! I’m so delighted to have found a solution!! The citronella smell’s a bit weird, but I personally like it (probably because I know it’s keeping the mozzies at bay and they hate it!). I obviously can’t testify whether the bracelets would have worked alone without the Skin So Soft (or vice-versa), but I can testify that the two together were a winning combination for me – a complete life saver this holiday. I’ve finally found my miracle anti-mozzie solution – I never believed a bite-free holiday was possible! :):):)

I tried these bracelets following a recommendation on an online forum, as I get bitten a lot in my English garden, and react badly to the bites.
I was very pleased, they are effective, and come in individual sealable packs, so can be reused. I have not been bitten this summer yet!
The only very small issue is that they are only just big enough for me ( average size woman) – it would be great if they came in different sizes.

These are really handy to have on holiday these are a deterrent but not 100% got bit a few times but overall not a bad product and fast delivery frombthe selle

obviously with the mild uk weather this year, the mosquitos woke early. What can I say. These products are awsome. And no messy citronella candles burning. What I like most about them is they are Ultravoilet reactive (not that this is mentioned as a feature) but they look great under ultravoilet lights in the clubs. When the product starts to wear out (about a week) you can use the bands for other things. Stretch it really thin, use as string, not quite thin enough as cotton thread, but with leather needles.. But if you have hair, long hair and want to keep it off your warm club face, they make for a great stand in for hair bands etc. Get creative. I don’t throw the ones I use away, unless they are one of the darker non UV reactive (green ones). Some go in a drawer at home, others to recycling bin.

I never write reviews, but for these I am happy to! We were told by family we were visiting that the place we were staying was really bad for mosquitoes and so after some research I bought these. My wife and I wore them, as did my 4 year old and one year old, I genuinely believe they were the reason we didn’t suffer bites. The reason for this is that only day I got some bites was the day I went out running and I forgot to wear my bracelet- that day I was bit! I will have some for the family on every holiday now!!

Amazing for our family – our 2 daughters looooved the bracelets as they saw them as jewelery. I’m not sure about usage with kids but to be honest this was a lot easier than spraying them with toxic anti moskito repellent. They were each wearing four (one on each arm + legs) and this kept moskitos out during our 2 week trip to southern Mexico.

Having lived in Africa and travelled a lot, this has definitely made it on my list of must have items for my trips. I’ll also be buying some as a gift for my friend going on honeymoon in December. Would highly recommend.

6 of us went to the Riviera Maya in Mexico for a fortnight and the bands did a good job of protecting us from mozzy bites. Some of us had no bites at all, and those who did get bitten only had one or two for the whole holiday. I generally removed mine for swimming and showering but they still worked if you kept them on 24 hours a day. The tour operators sold something similar but theirs worked out a lot more expensive. I would buy again.

Always get eaten alive when abroad. Wore these all day & night for 10 days. 1 bite towards end of holiday. Never happened. Would highly recommend. I did swap every 3 days. Just to be safe however, cost out ways not being bitten every day.

i really liked these as did my boyfriend, we went on holiday to italy and they mostly worked. we still got bitten, but much much less. we combined these bands with a deet free spray.

I’ve bought these in packets of 10 twice. Once for travelling to Asia, once for travelling to Florida.
In Asia, I was in the actual jungle so I did get bitten. But not as bad as I would have done without these. They were brilliant around my ankles (especially when wearing sandals) as well as on my wrists. I would say, particularly with the widespread advent if Zika, to also wear a good mosquito repellent along with these but I think these are clever little things and would buy them again.

I couldn’t believe how well these bands worked. I react badly to insect bites so try anything to avoid them, having also had a baby this year I wanted to ensure she was also protected but didn’t want to use a lot of chemicals. These bands are perfect, neither of us got bitten while wearing them (over the course of 4 weeks), there was no nasty chemicals or smells and they were incredibly easy to use and store. By being able to reseal them in their packaging a single band lasted 5+ nights making them great value for money too.

We used these whilst on holiday in Italy and they definitely seemed to make us less attractive to the mosquitos, we still received a few bites, but much less than normal. They are well packaged, and the individual packs reseal easily if you want to take them off. Several people have commented on the smell, but I didn’t find it overly strong or unpleasant at all and would definitely recommend them.

Excellent, these even work on Scottish Midges. I live in a midge infested area and I always end up getting but when I am just popping out as it seems like too much trouble to put on repellent. This wonderful investment means I can pull one on quickly and I am protected. If you have bare legs I would recommend putting one on your ankles as well as they work brilliantly but the first time I wore one I got a few bites on my legs but my top half was completely clear of bites.

I wore one of these bracelets for 10 days and deliberately went out in the garden late at night when the bugs were out (something I don’t normally do without spraying bug repellent all over me) and not one bite. I’m a magnet for bugs and without repellent spray can have 20 bites on on my feet and ankles and my husband gets not one. This bracelet is much better than having to spray repellent all over me. It does smell really strong of citronella, like you get in outdoor candles, but after a day the smell is much less. I was really sceptical that this product would work but so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

I purchased these bracelets as the mosquitos absolutely love me. The pack has different colours, so if you wanted you could change the bracelet to go with different outfits, as they all have resealable bags. I’ve been wearing my bracelet a week now, 24/7 as its comfortable, you dont notice its even on. It will need changing after 10 days but I haven’t been bitten on my upper body at all. I have a few bites on my legs but maybe the answer would be to wear a bracelet around my ankle too. My younger daughter however hasn’t been bitten at all and she’s also had the bracelet on all week. I will definately be purchasing these again.

The bands are not too strong smelling and fit easily an adult’s wrist or ankle. I have been bitten by something (who knows what) when I was wearing it, but it definitely wasn’t a mosquito. That’s the only bite I’ve had in 2 weeks since wearing the bracelet.

I was sent the advertisement as Deal of the Day on Amazon by a couple of my friends. I have been very pleased with these and have given most of them to my friends particularly those who are going abroad for their holidays this year. Although I do not go abroad I do get stung when I go out into my garden. Even recently when I was only filling up my watering cans. These may not have been mosquitoes but they still bite you. I as recently as yesterday spent an hour in the garde early evening time pruning bushes etc and didn’t get bitten which is a miracle for me. Of course I was wearing two bands. I wanted to tell the seller but lost his link. I have suffered from bites of serious nature all my long life.Just had two weeks in South of France wearing these-as did my grand daughter- we had hardly any bites. My daughter chose not to wear them and got covered in seriously nasty bites. I could not believe it.Such a simple solution instead of inhaling deet or non deet/citronella/whaterver.The money I have spent on ..and now here is the simple solution.it might sound crazy but the person who invented these bracelets deseerves a GOLD medal!! I enjoyed my first ever bite free holiday.Heartfelt thanks.
