This maybe the cheapest air fryer but you don’t have to pay more, it’s brilliant.
I’m not kidding you this 50 quid machine can do exactly the same as a well known brand four times the price and the build quality is spot on, good design and it looks good, can’t fault it. Don’t let the name put you off great British design by Tower EXCELLENT.

Will not end up at the back of cuboard unused
Trial and error till you find the preferred temperature/time to how crispy you like your food. So far I have cooked frozen chicken thighs, frozen chips, onion ring etc nice and crispy in 18 minutes and without using oil which is a health plus. Freshly made scones come out a treat in 12 minutes: 6minutes in bake mode and another 6 minutes in normal mode to brown top. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Awesome but stopped working after 6 months
I absolutely love this product and would use it daily. Unfortunately stopped working after just six months, I have kept it perfectly and always clean but it just does not heat up anymore and the fan just blows cold air. Very disappointed

Have to say my mum brought me up old school and thought nothing like chips in a fryer..
I’ve used it about 3 times everything was great wedges.. Chips all nice crispy…

If you have a big family it’s very difficult to make a full meal..

4.3.l still won’t cook a family of 5 can only put so much in it at a time… So it would have still got 5 stars if it wasn’t for this…

I bought a Tower air fryer a bit more than a month ago and I have to say I don’t regret the purchase. The air fryer is easy to clean, reasonably big and the food comes out crispy and tasty. I was surprised how much oil and grease comes out of different foods during cooking. Definitely happy I’m not eating those anymore. Big plus for the manuals as the recommended timings are rather accurate although this might be dependent on personal taste.

Well it makes lush chips and crisps up roast potatoes and is really clean with minimal need for washing up generally compared to normal cooking and the amount of things you can cook is just limitless from whole joints to chicken drum sticks My daughter got one Christmas now 3 of us in the family have one
Where have you been all my life
Bought one for me and a friend. We are in love. Especially doing chicken wings in here, gosh they come out perfect. If you don’t have, you need to invest. Very easy to clean too. I just use boiling hot water to soak a little then it washes all the grease away easily.

So far so good, just done some parsnips which are lovely. I have cooked, chips, roast potatoes (it does pay to part boil to cut down time). Sausages and burgers work well, remember to empty the excess fat out. Happy with product and it looks nice on the worktop.

Very easy to clean. Wash in hot soapy water or just wipe with a clean cloth. Brilliant for fish and chips, better than in th oven. Fantastic jacket potatoes to. I don’t bother putting the oven on its quicker to do it in the air fryer. Ideal if you live on your own.

Easy to use and healthy to use
Amazing product, very easy to use, with lots of present settings for specific usage. The appliance does get very hot, which meant the “tower” logo at the front of the appliance has melted away. Not easiest to clean as you have to wait for it cool down and the pull out dish is quite cumbersome. But definitely worth it as you get a much healthier alternative to frying food in a conventional fryer.
Great machine wish I’d bought the bigger model with shelves, why because it is that good. The negative is the basket is pretty flimsy with 3 rivets connecting the basket to the handle. A plastic shield protects the release button to list the cooking basket out of the cooking bowl. This should comes off every time and is a real pain. The basket itself has folded back slots that are virtually impossible to clean and I can see how easily it will be to break the basket from the riveted handle. Not good.
So that is the build and I don’t expect it to last long with regular use. 🙁
As for cooking it is superb, the food tastes good fries and had browns are crisp and dry. I’ve found it is easier to use frozen products rather than going through the whole preparation process.
Having said all of this I made a mistake buying this item and should have spent the extra on the larger oven with a glass front, it’s not much larger in overall dimensions of price but delivers more flexibility. Since buying this I’ve also discovered a number of relatives have the same product and all have exactly the same comments.
I’m surprised that the standard oven manufacturers that now combine microwave with traditional ovens are not including this technology in their own ovens, I guess it’s just a matter of time as the technology is genius.

Good all round airfrye
Brilliant for cooking homemade chips, but you do need to follow the instructions and parboil first.
Everything cooks faster in this and I use it frequently for things such as chicken nuggets, frozen sausage rolls, potato waffles just to speed things up (and cooks far better than in normal oven).
Only thing I wish now is that I’d bought a bigger one!
I purchased this to replace our old tefal actifry when that died after many years service. This cooks quickly and keeps the food nice and moist. Chips are crisp and require little to no oil.
Unlike our old actifry, this doesn’t move the contents round, so to get nice even chips (for instance) you have to get the basket out and give it a shake from time to time. Because of this, if you’ve got a few mouths to feed, this may not be the best option for somebody who struggles with grip, or holding heavier items (although weight can be reduced by removing the basket from the tray).
My only gripe about this is that the button to release the basket is covered by a sliding plastic cover. This was very flimsy, and broke after the fourth clean (cleaned by hand as the instructions advise against dishwasher use). To be fair, it’s a feature you don’t need of you use a little care.

I have to eat clean when Im shredding my bodyfat, this cooks without liquid oil. I use the squirty stuff and cooks food perfectly! You can cook multiple things like chicken and chips at the same time!
When I go back to cooking in a pan with oil I get acid reflux. Which shows how cleanly cooking with an air fryer is!
It's like an oven!
This is a very compact oven on your worktop. There is no difference between an air fryer and an oven as both do the something. Whoever came up with the term “air fryer” is a marketing genius. Being a man this gadget is very easy to use with preset programmes. The only downside I find is that the plastic gets a bit too hot and if you accidently touch, your Mrs will end up hearing a scream.

Despite other reviews it is quite easy to clean. It is easy to use once you find out what is what. Did so by trial and error. One possible problem, sometimes the start button doesn’t seem to work, but I haven’t decided if it is me or if it is faulty.

We have used this Air fryer everyday since purchase! Great quality. Extremely easy to use. I would prefer the basket to be a big larger compared to the bottom pan but it’s great to keep in and let chips get really Crisps. Can heat everything in this from chips, cheese on toast and cookie dough. Only issue is its a bit difficult to completely get all the grease off the edges. But scrubbing does a good job. Well worth the money!

This is a vast improvement on my old Philips unit being without aa dishwasher I had difficulty in keeping it really clean…..The good points this unit is efficient easy to clean …the bad points it has a mind of it’s own or maybe ME!!… but I can’t get the setting I require to use below 200 degrees without a tussle……if I wish to shake the item being grilled the machine closes down…but then restarts…so this makes me reluctant.
Overall though it does the job required and that’s why I purchased it.
It’s a good machine cooks well, downside don’t use 1 cal fry light on anything you cook sticks to the Teflon and is very difficult to wash off.
Revolutionised our cooking!
Fantastic machine that is easy to use and easy to keep clean. I am currently using this in place of an oven whilst we wait for our kitchen to be renovated and there’s very little that it can’t cook. Wonderful value for money too! Would go for a larger model if you have a larger family but this size is perfect for 2 people.

Freshly baked pastries in the morning
Relatively simple to use and quite pleased with the result. I chuck my French pastries in for 6 minutes each morning and they come out nice as crispy.
Only thing which irks me is that sometimes the on/off button is unresponsive and you have to switch the machine off at the mains in order for the air fryer to actually work.

This item arrived on time. I did struggle with using it to change the temperature the 1st time but once over that it has been easier to use since. Chips out of it taste amazing. Would highly recommend.

Cooks well amazing small appliance
Used it well, cooks well snd healthy. The only problem is that the handle came loose within a couple of months, used a different kind of screw to keep it fixed but we failed. So will be returning it perhaps for a replacement.
The inner basket is well easy to clean due to its nonstick coating but the drip compartment bit is difficult to clean.

We had a Tefal Actifry for several years and I had to replace a couple of parts during that time and didn’t want to spend anymore on it & so looked for it’s replacement. I was shocked at how much the Tefal units now cost and so looked for a cheaper unit and opted for this Tower unit. It works really well, as long as you remember to remove the tray half way through and give the food a shake to separate it as unlike the Tefal it doesn’t have an agitator. But for less than half the price of the Tefal units a good alternative. Food comes out tasting great so very happy
Great value for the price
Read tons of reviews for lots of different makes and models, and didn’t really want to pay 200-300 for one, so this seemed like a good choice for the money, and it’s a brand I’ve heard of! Seems to do the job just fine, you just need to remember to shake your chips half way through, otherwise the top ones burn and underneath ones are undercooked. They taste much better than traditional fried ones.
I love this air fryer. It is the best kitchen appliance I have ever bought. It’s very easy to use and clean. It sits neatly on the kitchen counter. You can literally cook anything in it that would ordinarily go in the oven or be fried. Iv done everything from burgers, vegetables, potatoes, fries, omlettes, toasties and I bought the 7inch accessories kit and made a cake. That turned out better than anything iv tried to bake in the oven. I use it pretty much daily, the oven has barely been on. There are two of us and I think it’s just the right size however if I’d have known how often it would get used I’d have bought a bigger one. Something that would have held a 8 inch accessories pack as the 7inch is pretty small. Meals are now significantly easier and quicker.
What do you say about air fryer. Well it’s not one of those gadgets that seems to end up at the back of the cupboard. We use ours everyday and wondering why we didnt get one earlier. If you are undecided then I would say buy it, you wint be disappointed.

Bought as my teenager complained about oven chips and needed alternative.
Absolutely brilliant results on his favourite meal. Spicy Chicken breast and chips / wedges. Faster than the oven, dosent dry out and turns itself off when timer ends which is less worry for me if he cooks himself. Ive warmed pastry items, cooked quiches, meat and fish. Would recommend.

Great fryer. Much better than my deep fat fryer which although much faster takes too long to drain and clean. So far everything tastes much better.
Love it, and I recommend to everyone. Until last week when the bottom of the drawer started peeling off. It doesn’t touch the food so it’s still usable but I was very disappointed. If you buying it for more than 2 people, do not buy smaller than 4.3L
