I have always had plug in headsets before but they kept damaging at the jack. Having this wireless solves that problem and we’ll over a year later it’s still working great.
The battery lasts forever to the point that when it does die I’m really surprised.
Connects easy and sounds great.

I’ve been wanting a wireless headset and never had a turtle beach so I treated myself and I’m so glad I did..even has an app which works great too. I bought it predominantly for Call of duty and its working out brilliantly for me so far. Yet to see if it works on other multilayer games but if it doesn’t then I’m not fussed…it was bought with cod in mind….no regrets at all

This is a great headset, the batteries last well and the sound is good, but I find it very heavy on my neck and it’s a little uncomfortable on my ears.
My son is an avid Xbox gamer (aren’t most of them?) and was going through headsets like nobody’s business. These were not even ultra cheap ones, but 25/ 30 a time. We kept returning them for refunds as the microphone stopped, or an earcup etc. They were also wired and he couldn’t get the mic to work great unless he plugged another controller into the Xbox and plugged his headset into that.
These in contrast just work with no wires at all. They are so far so good, 3 months in. He just charges them up every night. A massive improvement on the wired Chinese ones.
There’s a newer model of these, slightly improved although these are cheaper and will work on Xbox S and X when he upgrades the console, just like the newest version so really the newer ones are a very minor update.
hese are still the best headset I have ever owned. I play online multilayer games and the clear quality and sound recognition is brilliant. The wireless part can be annoying if you let the battery run out but the actual battery life is quite good. The thing that struck me was the feel of them right out the box… they don’t feel cheap at all

Extremely pleased with these. Brought to use with X-Box gaming. Being wireless it gives you the freedom of not being connected via a length of wire to the X-Box. Would highly recommend.
Good headphones in that they produce good quality sound, although doesn’t seem to go loud enough. The fit is comfortable also. Like some others I have had issues with connectivity, to which I turn them off and on and it solves it. For 120 I would of preferred to have had them louder and no connectivity issues but these are not a big deal. Playing warzone I hear footsteps sooner than I would’ve, and I’m fully emmeresed in the game due to these headphones.
Great wireless headset! Sounds is good and it’s great at cancelling background noise so you can really get into the game.
A wonderful set of headphones, the sound is crisp and clear, the microphone easy to use, I game online so need to hear and chat with my teammates and couldn’t be happier, worth every penny.
Best headset I’ve ever had. Sound is perfect, cuts out background noise. Comfortable and it doesn’t hurt my ears with my glasses.
My son used to tangle his headset cables and mess with the jack plug until it was loose and crackled. With this headset all thise problems are gone. The sound is lag free because it uses Xboxes own connectivity system which is the same as the controllers use. This is faaaar better than a bluetooth connection and has guaranteed compatibility with Xbox. The xbox even shows you a rough charge guide so you know when to charge them.
The sound quality is very good and I can hear details that I’d never noticed before. Not sure what more I would hear if I’d spent double the money but I doubt I would notice. Very clear sound and easy to use. My kids love them.

The headset does not offer the best in terms of the sound quality, HOWEVER it is very good at sound and in general footstep tracking. In call of duty warzones for example I can hear the direction of bullets and explosions whilst identifying footsteps. For me this is not a headset you would use in a non-competitive setting such as single player games like the witcher and god of war.
It is important that I compare this to my previous headset. I had a steelseries pro+gamedac which had much better sound quality, but when playing a game like warzone you could not balance the sounds to be comfortable. This headset had a great deal of settings and I had done great research to ensure I had it optimally setup for the best sound. To be brief this headset lacked the ability to hear everything without one sound overwhelming the others and causing an earbleed. In contrast the Turtle Beach 700 was plug, play and just enjoy.
The mic is good enough. I do not seem to have issues when speaking to anybody on pc discord or PS4.
The build quality feels a little flimsy, but I think that with me it should last at least 2 years. I will come back and change my review if possible if this is not the case. If you throw your headset or you are clumsy in general then this headset may be too delicate.
For the above reasons I can really appreciate this headset, as it is simple and works from the box without any research. The wireless sound works for competitive the best at a decent enough price. There is a reason a lot of streamers are using headsets like this :).
The bluetooth works great and I can easily pair to my phone and answer phone calls. I have an issue when using discord on my phone, which can be a bit buggy and friends say that I am a little quite. My microphone use in phone calls have been reported to sound normal. This is a good headset for me to take phone calls and play. I currently use a cheap android phone with this headset. Compatibility may vary for other phone users.
The final negative is that I cannot easily connect this to my PS4 and PC at the same time. The cable for the optical out of the playstation to the connect for the USB is extremely short. This means that is I wanted to connect the usb to my pc then it would have to be sat right next to my playstation to get Playstation sound. A minor point as I assume most people will only use this for Playstation or PC.
The headset is great for my personal taste in sound. If the sound was not so good for tracking I would have reviewed the headset less for the negative points mentioned above.
I was looking for some wireless headphones but the ones I wanted were out of stock. I bought these as an interim solution and they are brilliant.
What I didn’t appreciate is they connect to the controller which on the PS4 is remote anyway. Therefore I didn’t really need wireless headphone all along anyway!
They do also have an option to plug in directly to the PS4 in order to enable them to light up but I don’t use this function, I tried it out and it looks good but I prefer the feeling of not being plugged into the PS4.
The sound is really good and there is a volume control on the cable which is handy. The microphone is really clear and I find them great for gaming.
You won’t find a better set of gaming headphones in this price bracket and I think I am going to buy another set for my daughter to use on her machine.

TLDR: Best wireless headset at this price point. Super Human Hearing isn’t useful for all games.
Firstly, the headset is super easy to set up in terms of connecting it to my PS4, the instructions appear brief but only because it’s so simple and can switch between the headset and using your TV sound from your PS4 menu very easily.
Secondly, I bought this headset mostly to play Call of Duty Warzone as I was struggling hearing footsteps despite someone being just the other side of a wall, hill, door, etc. and the headset instantly improves this. Not only can I hear that someone’s in a house but what floor & what room of that house.
However; the super Human Hearing feature, which I thought would give me an advantage, works to a very limited degree in Warzone. Yes it does intensify footstep and gunfire sounds but it’s not helpful being able to hear gun fights from a mile away. Plus it instensfies every little sound and once I had gotten the volume where I wanted it on the standard settings, when shifting the noises can be deafening when there’s a lot going on. In order to try and hear footsteps of other players you’re also competing with: your own footsteps, all the gunfire on the map, planes flying over head, ambient noise (e.g. birds, the wind, etc.), the sound of loot boxes ( which if you’re anywhere near one, you won’t be able to hear anything else in game), the countdown beeps when the circle is closing, the voiceover, etc. The only time I found it to be useful was at the start of a game when I was still looting inside a quiet house with no loot boxes and I was crouched and heard an enemy across the street and could even tell how close he was and the precise moment he would open the door. However, I feel that had I had the standard settings on, the result would have been fairly similar.
With all this being said, I’m still happy with the purchase given the price point in comparison to other wireless headsets with Dolby Surround Sound and it has ultimately fixed the problem I was experiencing with my standard ear phones. Also the option to pay in monthly installments at 0% interest is certainly an added benefit and helped in my decision-making. Just don’t expect the super human hearing feature to allow you to run around the map on Warzone being able to isolate people’s footsteps in any house at any given moment.
These are very hard wearing. My son has thrown them on several occasions and they are still working.
These are great. My son really loves them, they sound amazing, they’re comfortable and light.
Now, we had a problem that after a year and a half the mic mute stopped working. Small issue really but I contacted Turtle beach for a repair.
Their response? Return it to Amazon as the warrenty is 2 years! Contacted amazon and the replacement arrived the next day and they collected the faulty ones.

Comfortable, excellent sound quality, can now hear other players sneaking up on me. Connects using xbox Bluetooth, no need for USB plug in device like majority of wireless headsets. Long battery life, crystal clear comms.
I bought this headset for my PS4 to get the best surround sound experience. I went with this model after reading lots of positive reviews.
It was very easy to set up and connect to the console. After many hours of use I can say it has been very comfortable to wear and I have had no issues with connectivity. The sound is great and the noise cancellation works well to block out the console fan sound and other distractions.
Using iphone, it connects automatically when the headset turns on and the phone audio plays through the headset. I turn game volume down on the headset if I want to hear my phone audio while playing or get a good mix of the two.
Initially i didn’t use the headset App, but since I have started using the flip down mic to chat with other players, I have used it to boost chat when needed. Also with the noise cancellation i can’t really hear my own voice while playing, so I use the monitor function in the App to put my mic into the headset mix.
Overall great product that I would happily recommend.
I had a wired gaming set for my ps4 which i thought was good quality. I hated it when the wire got caught whilst i was playing. So after browsing i bought the turle beach headphones and they are amazing
After reading a lot of reviews i decided to go for stealth 600 as the 700 got a lot of negative reviews i’ve had these now for 2 days the only issue i have with these in my opinion they needed to be a tad bit louder i’ve tried all the settings bass boost,bass triple boost etc checked everything was maxed out volume wise yes all done still not loud but ok i can live with them the sound quality is great now in the past i’ve purchased quite a few headsets all with female voices this is refreshing a man’s voice the way he says “POWER ON” i love it says it with such a good solid voice wakes you up gives you an energy boost like yeah lets go the power off isn’t quite as effective this got me thinking i would have really enjoyed the voice of the late great Peter Thomas from forensic files in a headset you’d be constantly jumping and looking over your shoulder wondering he ain’t in the same room as me is he?LOL
I purchased these to replace my sons previous Turtle Beach 600X headset (earpiece pivots broken after 2 years), as before, syncing is just a poke of 2 buttons and done (just like a controller), the bonus on going up to the 700X is the added simultaneous Bluetooth capability, this means that he can now either stream music, run discord etc from his phone or answer calls without running to get the phone off the charger, maybe an aid to obesity, but if you’re mid game I guess you don’t want to be doing a decathlon to answer the phone.
We bought these for our son. He has been using them every day playing his playstation. Well made long lasting.
Had these about 2 months now and very happy with them. No problems at all yet. I have this weird thing were I hate anything touching my chest….. like a dangling wire. So these are v good for me.
