    Arrive fast and well packaged.
Once opened the thermostat screen and outdoor sensor are pretty basic but well made.
It’s been designed to be simplistic and easy to use.
Popped batteries in both the sensor and unit really easily, literally took 2 minutes to setup.
Placed the sensor outside in the garden under the overhang of the shed roof. As it’s waterproof anywhere on the wall would have sufficed but I thought a bit of protection wouldn’t harm. It was easy to place on a wall screw already in place from an old hanging basket. The monitor unit sits neatly on the cabinet in full view for my parents to easily see.
To see the temperatures etc clearly you need to press the lightbulb symbol then the screen glows orange and all detail is very clear. The light stays on for about 10 seconds. You can still see the details when the light is off but you do need to be a little closer than sitting across the other side of the room. It also depends where you locate it. When it’s on the top shelf with window light shining through its very clear but when on the side cabinet shelf it’s shaded so not as easy to see.
The readings though are very accurate so this is perfect for my elderly parents who like to know what the temperature is all the time and use it to regulate for my dad. They love knowing what the temperature and humidity is outside and adds a fund aspect to it.
Overall really pleased with this purchase.

Perfect thermostat present for elderly parents.

Owned for about a month now and so far I’m impressed. It displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity levels. Have checked it against met office forecast for our area and so far it has been fairly accurate.

I bought this thermometer as I required a remote temperature reading from my loft as well as one from outside. Testing these thermometers against other known accurate thermometers in the house, I found the two sensors to be very accurate and the base unit to read slightly high by just 0.2C. The remote sensors operate successfully at great distances through several solid house walls. I required a max/min setting which I could reset every month, but I find this unit resets itself every 24 hours. Why it’s been set up like this, I don’t know so that’s disappointing. The sensor I was going to use as the outside thermometer is not at all waterproof, so I will have to devise some suitable protection in order to use it outside. Therefore, it’s main function of giving me accurate temperature readings from remote sensors is excellent, but overall I give it four stars due to the max/min resetting and lack of waterproofing.

Very accurate, gives indoor and outdoor temperatures and humidity readings. sensor fixed under car port, receiver in lounge. batteries appear to last well (still on original from purchase), expecting around 3 months usage out of them.

Good price for a remote and local thermometer. Easy to read and easy to set up. Just put batteries in and it worked. Seems to work over a fair distance from one end of the house to the other and between two floors. Nice.

I have had a lot of these type units and this one is the best yet so far. Had it a year now and the range is great. I have one in the pump house 200′ from the house and one in each freezer. Easy to read display and good battery life.
    would buy agai

The device and the three remote sensors worked as described. The accuracy meets the description specification. Very easy to set up and use.

Turned out to be unexpectedly difficult to find a wireless device to prominently display outside temperature without also majoring on internal (room) temperature. This unit pretty much does it, though, with internal temperature only occupying a small and ignorable space on the display . . . so a good result. Accurate readings against other known-good devices. Good one.

THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE and Humidity are clearly shown with the Ankilo inside/outside unit.

don’t buy this product if you want exact temperature. As described, the error margin is 1C and 5% for RH.
    Acceptable for my usage.
I prefer this model to the new one because i can see 3 channels at the same time

I initially set up the devices by adding batteries to the main unit, and then to the satellite units. I added batteries to units 2 and 3, and they registered on the screen. I had misplaced unit 1, and when I added batteries into it, for some reason it didn’t register. HMM. I clieked the CHANNEL button, re-inserted the batteries in unit 1, the light went red and then off again, and still not registered. I fiddled a whole bunch with the unit, and I thought unit 1 was simply not working, bummer. In the end I ended up pressing AND HOLDING the CHANNEL button for about 10 seconds, then the whole unit seemed to reset. I then re-inserted the batteres in unit 1, 2 and 3, and all 3 units registered.

So I’m thinking that for those people who thought they had defective units, they just need to either insert the batteries fast enough when setting things up, OR perform the press-and-hold procedure like I described above.

    Overall, I have no complaints. When next to each other after 10 minutes, the units display 25.1 C, 25.7 C, 25.1 C, 24.7C temp, and 36%, 39%, 39%, 39% humidity.

For temperature, the units are abviously not within +/- 0.1C , but they are within +/- 1.0C, so to me it’s perfecly fine.

For humidity, the 3 satellites show the exact same humidity +/- 1% and the main unit +/- 3%. Maybe the main unit will eventually go from 36% -> 39%, but really, I don’t care and if I really want an accurate reading I can just take the average.

Bottom line: loses a star for accuracy when the display shows a decimal (it shouldn’t), but otherwise I’m perfectly happy with it.

Pretty reliable sampling the air compared to my more expensive model, three temperature displays simple and easy.

Easy to set up. Temperatures are reasonably accurate, but fairly slow to react to a change. Overall I am happy with the monitor.

Easy to use, it works exactly what you expect.

Pros: easy installation, comprehensive manual, LED indicators on transmitters.
Cons: the base unit is smaller than you might expect, contrast not configurable for LCD.
