Operation Instructions

My husband had back surgery and post-op, they had him on a fancy air mattress in the hospital. The air kept shifting in the channels of the mattress. My husband said it made it very comfortable for him to sleep on his back. We have a Sleep Number bed at home which has also been great for him. However, we stayed in a hotel immediately post op due to being away from our home area for his surgery. So I found this item on Amazon that we decided to try to duplicate the comfort of the special hospital bed, and this definitely did the trick! It arrived super fast and I can’t believe how well this economically priced item worked for our purpose. It inflated quickly and the pump was very quiet. It did not disturb his sleep or mine. We were so thrilled with this that we will probably take this with us when we travel. We like to stay in AirBNB places, and you never know what the beds will be like. I do not have a problem but with my husband’s back (lots of hardware in there), a comfortable bed can be tough to find. This air mattress is compact enough that we can have it in the car as a back up item to use on top of a bed if my husband is not comfortable. SO happy with this product!

Read many reviews before choosing this one for mom (in-home hospice). It’s perfect. Works very well, as described, and the motor is practically silent. I was worried because the ones in the hospital were so loud you could barely converse but this runs constantly and silently. Yay! Hospice agency took way too long to send one (then delivered one without a motor) so I ordered this on my dime. Totally worth it.

Extremely satisfied with this purchase. Live in caregiver of a family member whom requires medical assistance. This air topper is a game changer! Virtually silent, durable yet comfortable, well made, and very affordable. Never expected such efficient and fast healing of pressure related issues. Less than a week of use and at least 70% improvement to problem areas! It’s a must have!
This worked well. We put it on the firmest setting to inflate it fast, but we left it on that setting when we put it on the bed. It was way too firm and uncomfortable. Once we lowered the setting to the softest setting, it was fine.
It’s been perfect. The motor is very quiet. It’s easy to adjust the firmness. Purchased for my father, who’s been pretty picky about a couple of other mattresses/pads we’ve used, and he didn’t seem to even notice this was different.

I bought this for my dad who got bed sores from being in bed to much after his stroke. This mattress has these air bubbles all over the mattress that alternatively inflate and deflate to change the pressure points so that blood keeps flowing normally.
Let me say that we used this in combination with the TriDerma Pressure Sore Relief Healing Cream, 4 Ounces. It is a cream used for bed sores and it works wonders! We both working together, the bed sores were healed quickly and he hasn’t gotten any new ones. If i ever need another mattress like this, i will definitely but this one. I also have recommended it to my family and friends.

To set the stage my mother is a 90-year-old amputee whose hips are so bad that she can only lay on her back and never move, she’s in a wheelchair all day long. She sleeps an average of 6 hours a night. She has the absolute top of the line TempurPedic mattress that is the softest most comfortable one they sell. She started to develop a bed sores, the dreaded plumbers crack bed sore and she had another one from sitting in her chair. I have to help her go to the bathroom every time she needs to go even during the night. So how good she sleeps, is also how good I sleep haha.
She hates it when I block her up on each side because it puts pressure on her sore hips. When we were at wound care somebody mentioned an oscillating sleeping mat for the bed….So I went on a Amazon quest to find something that would help with these bed sores. WOW found it HERE! THIS CHANGED MY LIFE AND HERS!
The first night on this mattress she slept 12 hours! Now instead of the normal 6 hours she used to sleep she sleeps 8 to 9 hours! She says she’s never felt better! PAIN AND BED SORES GONE! Normally when I get up to take her to the potty she has a red spot where that plumber’s crack sore develops there isn’t even a red spot there with this mattress topper.
Just a heads up, make sure you fill the mattress up with air before you try fitting it to the bed. I thought it was too long for the bed it turns out it shrinks considerably when you add air. Cover it with a mattress pad to absorb moisture so she doesn’t feel like she is sleeping on plastic. I set it on number two for firmness she loves it there.
Buy this! do not hesitate! I am going to be buying a backup as you well know with these Chinese products, sometimes they disappear and then you can’t find them again exactly like you had, I don’t think I want to take that chance if something happens to this it’s going to be ruining my night’s sleep and I don’t want to look for a new one.
Very subtle sound when adjusting when a person is on. My 95 year old father seems to sleep better- no pressure points. Not as thick(air pockets) as I would have imagined. But works great just the same. We keep it at about 1/8 firmness so that it is not too hard and it too sof
My patient is somewhat ambulatory but spends most of the day and night either in his chair or in bed. His bottom was always sore, and the nurse indicated he was on the verge of a bed sore on his tailbone. I quickly purchased this and put on his bed. The bed sore never fully developed, and he has said he has been comfortable sleeping without pain since. I sleep in the same room and was concerned that the noise would keep me awake, but it is minimal, just a whisper noise. I was surprised that the machine recommends leaving it on continuously; I was planning on shutting it down every morning, then making sure it was re-inflated before bedtime. Very useful item!
