Great little toy. My boy loves it and as the whole collection of Toot toot this toy steps up to the good reviews. Sturdy, interesting and at reasonable size.
Bought for ds Christmas present. Had me and husband laughing at the phrases. When I get excited I go off to a quiet place.
It has been drooled on dropped, kicked, thrown and unfortunately for me, stood on without sustaining any real damage other than some light scratches.

My one year old loves the toot toot cars. He plays with them for ages and they entertain him in the car and the buggy. Great toys.
VTech race car to go with Toot Toot sets. A nice little racing car with a flame design. Lights up and also talks and plays music. 3x aaa batteries are required (batteries are included for demonstration purposes only so will need replacing) Goes great with other Toot Toot sets or can be played on its own. A good interactive toy.
Good quality toy with an attractive design. The sound is also good quality and it’s easy to operate for little hands. My little boy is obsessed with cars and he loves this one at the minute. Seems durable and arrived promptly. Great idea for a gift too!

Perfect addition to go with our toot toot track and garage. Comes displayed on a cardboard platform with the truck on full view, it can even be tried out. Chunky in look and design, perfect for small hands to grasp, hold and play with. It requires 2 aaa batteries which are included so can be played with straight out the box. The windscreen is a large button to press, it lights and actives sound. If you open up it’s tail gate this also activated the sounds. Using it on the toot toot track to play, when it goes across any of the smart point locations, it sounds and lights up with out needing to pressed. Strong and durable, it’s withstood multiple drops (and launches) to the floor. Simple on/off switch under, but automatically powers off when it’s stopped being pressed/played with. This is a pretty nice toy car for young kiddies/toddlers being very attractive to look at as well as offering some nice light and sound interactions. Designed in a ‘cartoon’ form it is instantly attractive and ‘cute’ so is likely to become a kiddies favourite very quickly.
The one I opted for (there is a whole range available) was the police car, I mean every kiddie wants a police car don’t they? This is in a normal predominantly white colour with the usual police markings. Being cartoon styled it is quite chunky which again is ideal for young kiddies and has a final feature of eyes on the windscreen very similar to those other ‘cars’ on the market. But its probably best feature that your young ones will like is the lights and sound. By simply pressing on the windscreen the car will start flashing lights and play either a slogan, sound effects, a small song or a combination of all of these. The sound is surprisingly clear and understandable with a good level of volume and no distortion unlike some toys you get. Best of all there is a quite good range of sounds that get played so it takes some time before you start to hear recycled sounds, although with all of these things what the kiddies will love are likely to eventually become a bit annoying to adults. But this is just a good justification to get more cars from the range so you have an even bigger range of sounds and tunes – well maybe!
The robustness of the car is generally very good and it should be pretty resilient. About the only concern I have is that the boot lid opens and there is the possibility it may with a determined child get snapped off and we all know what happens with small accessories etc… But I guess if you are too concerned it would be very easy to glue this so it can’t be opened. One nice safety feature to see is that the battery compartment is secured with a metal screw, annoying of course when you need to change batteries if you can’t find a screwdriver, but a good thing in that it prevents your little one from getting access to the batteries and the potential consequences of that.
If there is any criticism I have of this toy it would have to be that it was quite a bit smaller than I expected based on the illustrations. I was for some reason expecting a toy car about maybe 8-9 inches in length. In fact it is less than 6 inches in length, so while it is robust and good quality you do feel that maybe it should have been cheaper bearing in mind its size. Not a major issue as it is probably correctly sized for toddler/baby hands, but just a surprise when it arrived.
The fact that I am seriously considering buying more of the range for my grand nephew indicates I think it is a worthy purchase.

I’m not sure whether I’d have paid (the price at the time of this review) 8.99 if I’d seen this toy in a shop but it’s definitely good quality and my baby loves it, so I do recommend it and will probably buy more of the collection too.
