The bench was ideal for what I wanted. Its able to fold away in the garage and takes up little room. I found it to be very sturdy and overall great value for money.
I didn’t using yet but I hope it will be very good for using at home
If you follow the assembly instructions without the use of a magnifying glass and brilliant sunshine you will miss a tiny instruction on page 4 of the manual about how you bolt the front legs to the spreader block and rear legs. I missed this and when I finished assembly the damn thing would not fold nor was it stable or safe to use when stood up. Only when I Googled the issue did I find what I had missed. Now it folds and is safe to use I think it is a brilliant product. Come on Wolfcraft, have a word with your graphics team!
I don’t know how Wolfcraft do it for 32, the more expensive versions from Black and Decker and Bosh are no better and not as good value. This is a buy worth more than the asking price..

Of your having trouble with it not folding flat correctly or locking in position when in use them you havn’t put it together correctly, as I did. The tightening handles on the sides go through the slotted home in the legs, not the hole above it. Hope this helps.
Always nervous about purchasing items you’ve never heard the name of before, but this was definitely worth a punt. Solid and fairly easy to put together, the only negative points are, the spacing of the holes to put the grips in could be more varied and the stand itself is fairly sharp, handle with care, but on the whole, sound as a pound 🙂

Assembled and with all nuts fully tightened, the workbench is pretty sturdy but don’t expect it to be like the B&D workmates of old. They were factory assembled, very sturdy and with the table made of multiple layers of ply, rather than a bit of thick mdf and some thin pressed steel. However, for the light use it will have from me, it will suffice amply and frankly, at 31 you can’t expect cast iron!
I note that on Screwfix it is trade rated and also 20 more!
Bit fiddly to build, and could use simpler instructions to following, but good quality for the price
This seems like a good bench especially for the price, I will put it to proper use at the weekend. However, there is no way you could build this without a proper tool and screwdriver set.
There have been some other reviews saying that the bench doesn’t fold, but it folds fine for me. Also, some other views mentioned that the instructions are incorrect, they were also fine for me. Maybe they updated them after the previous reviews.
Once I had mastered the assembly which took me a bit of head scratching it has proven to be a great tool. Holds items very firmly and is sturdy.
This has to be the best workbench in this price range in fact I would go as far as saying any price range.
It is sturdy and very rigid in use. Easy to open and fold. Takes up minimal space when folded.
There are many comments about not being able to fold the bench and about difficulty in assembling it.
All I would say READ the instructions and look at the diagrams. If you do and take your time there will be no problems and you will end up with a first class bench.

I’ve just bought my second one after the first one started to fail (I kept it out on a rainy balcony, so that’s really my fault). I bought it from somewhere else though as I didn’t want to go prime.
Having just assembled my second one, I have a suspicion that the reason some people think this bench collapses too readily / doesn’t fold flat, is they’re not assembling it correctly. The L-shaped blue tightening handles go through the elongated holes in the legs not the round holes and the same legs sit and pivot on the pre-assembled silver steel bar in the bracket at the top of the A-frame.
Seriously, for 30 or so quid, if you’re looking for a decent bench, get this one. And be sure to assemble correctly.

Je ne comprends vraiment pas les avis qui critiquent cette tabli… Pour peu que l’on sache un minimum tenir des outils il est d’un jeu enfantin de le monter. J’en possde plusieurs d’autres marques professionnel cotant 4 5 fois le prix de celui-ci et il n’a absolument rien leur envier. trs robuste le seul petit hic pour moi et qu’il manquait plusieurs vis dans l’emballage heureusement que j’en avais chez moi. Pour une utilisation professionnelle il n’y a absolument aucun souci c’est ce que je lui demande personnellement.
Easy to assemble very high quality and easy to fold and unfold
On first inspection the box had been opened and was tatty, clearly it had been re packed, which suggests a returned product, I feared something would be missing although that was not the case. A couple of scratch marks on parts though which confirmed my initial thoughts. Not bad enough to return as I will soon add some of my own!
Like all self assembly it takes longer than you think, if you assembled a second it would be easy.
It’s all together, quite rigid and works and folds away nicely.
Hoping it stays rigid having taken onboard other comments I have used a socket set to tighten, maybe if I get bolts loosening I will try spring loaded washers. Hopefully it won’t need it. Just a point no height adjustment, my old B & D had this, but that’s not a criticism, just one point I had not factored in.
I’m hoping for the money it will stand me in good stead, time will tell.
Molto robusto, stabile anche a sollecitazioni energiche. Ovviamente non si pu pensare che sostituisca un buon banco da lavoro, anche per hobbisti, non fosse altro per le dimensioni ridotte della superficie e per l’altezza del piano di lavoro troppo bassa per un lavoro pi impegnativo. Ottimo invece ed effettivamente il suo scopo, per lavoretti fatti in casa, es. taglio zoccolini o simili, onde avere un appoggio e presa sicura e stabile. Ottimo anche cole appoggio volante per seghe a nastro forature ecc. onde evitare di doversi appoggiare su tavoli o mobili, col rischio di rovinarli! Lo consiglio vivamente!
der Spindeln. Mit einer Spitzzange war diese Montage dann kinderleicht.
Von den vorherigen Rezessionen bzgl. der gelieferten Qualitt war ich ein wenig in Sorge, dass
es bei “meinem” Tisch auch so sei! Vllig falsch gedacht. Der Tisch war zwar “nur” in der Original-
verpackung, aber dennoch unbeschdigt. Auch die Passgenauigkeit ist dem Preis sehr angemessen.
Einzig die mittlere Durchbiegung beider Platten, gut, dass die Biegung beidseitig zur Mitte verluft,
ist etwas strend. Aber fr den Preis eine 100%ige Genauigkeit zu verlangen, wre vermessen. Der
Kauf eines Kleinwagen rechtfertigt noch lange nicht die Wertigkeit einer Nobelkarosse.
Fr mich ist der Tisch 5 Punkte wert!
Superb product but the assembly instructions are very difficult to use.
Mein letzter Arbeitstisch war von B&D, nach gut 20 Jahren und Lagerung im Gartenhaus musste Ersatz her. Der Arbeitstisch von Wolfskraft machte auch einen guten Eindruck und war sogar ein wenig gnstiger, da ich so eine Arbeitsflche nur hin und wieder brauche, habe ich dort zugegriffen.
Im Gebrauch und seinen Anwendungsmglichkeiten ist er hnlich, er wird zerlegt angeliefert und vor dem Gebrauch mssen eine Menge Teile richtig zusammengeschraubt werden, ein wenig wie ein IKEA Mbel, allerdings liegen bei IKEA schon die ntigen Inbusschlssel bei. Nur gut, wenn man die passenden Schraubendreher und Maulschlssel fr dieses Projekt zu Hause hat.
Der Arbeitstisch bietet nach dem Zusammenbau eine stabile Flche mit vielen hilfreichen Mglichkeiten, einige Kanten am Metallgestell knnten besser abgerundet sein um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Fr meine Zwecke reicht er, wobei ich den B&D in Details besser fand, z. B. brauchte man zur Fixierung von Rohren und Stangen (mit geringen Durchmessern) kein extra Klemmmaterial, da die verstellbaren Spannbacken innen eine gefrste Nut (Hohlkehle) haben. Beim Wolfskraft muss man dafr den Wolfcraft 6171000 Schraubstockbacken Alu fr Spann-, Werk,- und Maschinentische dazu kaufe

Muy buen producto. Mesa firme. Estructura de aluminio bien agarrada al suelo. Relacin calidad-precio buena. Pero:
* La caja en su dia pona diez aos de garanta y en las instrucciones de dentro cinco. A ver si nos aclaramos.
* Las instrucciones estn en una letra minscula que complica la lectura, y son un poco incompletas, como al no indicar el orden de las tablas encima de la estructura (yo las puse al revs, pero como veris import NADA el percance). Para explicar cmo se pliega la estructura se podra mejorar.
* Una de las tablas me lleg con un leve desconchado en la plancha, justo en la parte donde est la medida en centmetros.
* Como ya prev cuando lo recib, la plancha que recubre el tablero, con un medidor de centmetros y ngulos, es bastante floja y con unos cuantos trabajos se han ido borrando un poco las letras…
*…pero la verdad es que la presencia de los nmeros y medidores importa poco porque SON MUY INEXACTOS y para trabajos reales usas otros medios de medida.
* Podran regalar algn complemento ms de los que despus te venden por separado y que se adaptan a esta mesa, ms teniendo en cuenta que estos complementos son muy caros y alguno un poco imprescindible y hay muchos.
A pesar de todo, mi valoracin es de 4 estrellas porque para los efectos que lo quera ha cumplido bastante o del todo y por los buenos momentos pasados fabricando trastos para la casa, aunque debera ser de 3’5 por lo que coment.
Lo recomiendo.
Deux petits problmes quand mme, le 1er c’est une vis du plateau qui serre fond, ne bloque pas ce plateau. C’est un peu gnant mais a n’empche pas un serrage de la pice. Le 2me c’est l’ouverture trop troite des deux plateaux. Il faut pas avoir une planche trop large dcouper :/
Montage un peu chaotique, il faut vraiment bien regarder les petits dtails sur le plan, sinon faut redmontrer tout et remettre ensuite mais dans la bonne position 🙂

Arrivato in scatola originale wolfcraft del banco un po’ rovinata immagino per colpa delle dimensioni ( mi sarei aspettato venisse inserito in scatola amazon prime ma non stato cos ) , comunque all’interno tutti i pezzi erano perfettamente intatti senza nessun danno.
Facile da montare ed una volta montato il banco robusto e sembra di buona fattura.
Peccato che non hanno inserito rondelle spaccate tra i bulloni ed i dati da 10, conviene acquistarle, altrimenti con l’uso del banco potrebbero allentarsi.
Mi sento di consigliarlo per il fai da te ed il prezzo rispecchia la buona fattura del prodotto.

L’ensemble est de bonne facture, parait solide et rsistant, pas d’angles saillants, pas de bavures, et une belle finition.
Comme dj cit par de nombreux commentaires : la notice de montage est succincte, et mme en bricoleur averti, entre le dballage, l’inventaire des pices et le montage il faut compter une bonne heure.
Je mets aussi un bmol (qui justifie l’toile en moins) sur l’emballage : le produit est expdi dans le carton d’origine.
Primo tout le monde peut voir de quoi il s’agit, et plus important en secundo il a souffert du transport et des manipulations : dans mon cas, carton dchir par endroits, avec des trous, une pochette d’accessoires perce et au rsultat un crou et une rondelle d’axe manquants.
Dommage car je pense que cet article est d’un bon rapport qualit prix et je le recommande.
El banco viene desmontado, por lo que te tocar dedicarle un ratito a montarlo. Las instrucciones son claras y sencillas. Esto solo hay que hacerlo una vez, luego cuando no se use basta con plegarlo y guardarlo. Plegado no ocupa mucho espacio, aunque eso s, por sus dimensiones no es para guardarlo en casa, sino ms bien en el trastero o en el garaje.
Solo hay que andar con mucho ojo con una cosa: las manivelas que permiten fijar el banco una vez desplegado no hay que apretarlas mucho, ya que de lo contrario los tornillos se pasan de rosca y ya no tiene solucin.
Lo compr en Amazon por la tranquilidad que me da su servicio de atencin al cliente y por los casi 30 euros ms barato que me sala respecto al precio en una conocida tienda dedicada al bricolaje.

Der Aufbau dauert lange und nur mit eigenem geeignetem Werkzeug zu erledigen. Die Anleitzung ist SCHLECHT. Dank der ungenauen Bilder mussten einige Schrauben mehrfach dran und wieder ab geschraubt werden. Es gibt nmlich viel zu viele Bohrlcher im Rahmen!
Ist die Werkbank erstmal aufgebaut, steht sie stabil und lsst Werkstcke auch gut einspannen. Die zwei Arbeitsplatten sind leider aber nicht 100% eine Hhe. Das ist sehr schade.
Alles in Allem ein gutes Produkt fr diesen Preis, wenn es aufgebaut ist.
Es sollte nicht erst gekauft werden, wenn man an einer Werkbank arbeiten mchte, sondern bereits im Vorfeld, da der Aufbau doch einige Zeit in Anspruch nimmt!
Aufbau nach heutiger sehr scheller (1 Tag zu frh) Lieferung dauerte eine knappe stunde.
Verpackung und Inhalt nicht beschdigt und vollstndig. Mit genauem Studium der Anleitung und bildern von hier ging es gut. In der Anleitung sind die pfeile fr zusammenklapprichtung falsch. Rest stimmt.
Ergebnis ist ein sehr stabiler nicht wackelnder tisch mit guter bis sehr guter verarbeitung, der eigentlich nicht umkippen kann.
Minimanko, dass sich eine seite schwerer als die andere drehen lsst.
Falls entgegen meines ersten eindrucks negative dinge auffallen, werde ich hier ein update einfgen.
Fazit nach erstem eindruck: sehr zufrieden und klare kaufempfehlung.
30.11.17 Update nach gut 2 Wochen fast tglicher Nutzung:
Tisch ist sehr stabil und macht einiges mit. Die spannung zwischen den tischplatten ist hammer. Die backen halten auch, aber nicht berdrehen. Kann wirklich nicht umkippen und ist stabil ohne wackeln und klappern. Bietet sehr viele Mglichkeiten, wenn man nur etwas nachdenkt.
Empfehlung: kauft noch die 4 roten spannbacken (20 mm) von black&decker. Halb so teuer und besser. Einfach die kleinen wiederhaken mit cuttermesser entfernen, wenn man oft versetzen muss – schont die Halterungen.
Fr mich die beste Heimwerkeranschaffung, wenn man flexibel sein will und wenig Platz hat.
Good Product but took a while to put it together, I haven’t yet to tested it fully
Light enough to carry around and set up, if like me, you do not have a dedicated work room. In my case either site, outside or cellar. Strong enough to hold any piece of wood I might work on. I don’t think there is anything I dislike about it.
Needing a work bench and having looked extensively on the net I settled on this model rather than the cheaper options. It really is well made and just what I need for diy. Having read most of the reviews on Amazon I opened the box and set about putting it together. There are two plastic bags of bits. The first bag, not the one with the yellow blocks, is the first bag to use with the first diagram. When you have done that use the second bag with the second diagram. When completed go round every screw and bolt and nip them up tight. Make sure the blue handles go through the elongated hole. All finished in an hour, bit slow as I’m 70. Sturdy work surface and easy to fold.
I found it easy to put together and the folding mechanism is eased by using a lubricant. It has a stable platform to work on but the soft MDF vice jaws are best protected with https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001S2R44Y/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1.
I agree with most reviews on here, the instructions could be better … but if you are used to buying flat pack from Poland the instructions are adequate enough – not to Swedish flat pack standards by do the job well enough.
I built the bench quickly (about 30 mins) using spanner sand a screwdriver, had a little trouble folding at first but a quick kick to the leg folded it up, a shake to the top to stand clicks it all back in place when you want to set up (reviews on B&Q say the top is not level – as usual user error).
I bought because it came with a looong manufacturer’s warranty – a good indication of quality and the easy on pocket price point. I had a B&D back in the 1990’s and this is a good replacement.
A little concerned about the MDF and bruising the surface, easily addressed with beading or metal molding if needed.
Now onto building Polish flat pack.
Quick delivery and seems like a sturdy bench for the price, pretty lightweight, bit fiddly to put together, and folding mechanism not quite as nice as the old style bullet proof black and decker, but overall very happy!
Love this. My only experience with work benches is my Dad’s old bulletproof Black and Decker. After reading up on reviews of the modern offerings, many being described as weak and flimsy, this rose above as having good build quality and rigid support. Looks great, straight forward to build (if you take care to read the instructions) and easy to setup for use. Worth the higher price
I was bought this by my wife (she set the last workbench on fire by using it as a stand for a portable BBQ!) and she didn’t buy it from Amazon. However, it is the same item and my view of it may interest someone. Firstly, the assembly isn’t horribly difficult but the instructions are seriously awful.
Closing the thing proved a little tricky until I worked it out. As mentioned previously you need to use the elongated hole in the legs when you fit the blue handles. You also need to make sure the curve at the top of the leg sits on the steel pin. When you close it you may find it doesn’t move very easily at all – I found that this problem was caused by the curved bit of the leg catching slightly (oil or grease may resolve this problem) and I had to pus fairly firmly. I also found that the way the instructions show of closing it didn’t work; it is easier to tip it onto the back two legs, the front legs then drop down slightly (this is the curve dropping away from the pin) and a firm push on the plate works fine.
Overall, it is excellent and far better than the Black & Decker or B&Q ones (both of which I’ve owned) but the instructions let it down badly.
Agree with other reviewers, very sturdy workbench but instructions to assemble poor. You need to look very closely at the diagrams to see exactly where the bolts go. Would have given 5 stars except for the poor instructions.
Very stable solid workbench, I was a bit worried about the assembly instructions because of earlier reviews on this page. So when I received it I hoped I didn’t have to use several hours as earlier posted.
So with that in mind I brought a cup of coffee for medicine while figuring this out. Personally I found the instruction and assembly very easy and the workbench was assembled and tested in matter of minutes. Just to make sure I tried to make it collapse under use which it didn’t it was sturdy and good. By all means it’s not IKEA instructions it’s just exploded drawings but counting holes and making sure what you do is equal to the drawing everything functions well.
Maybe the instructions is revised and that’s why, I don’t know.
Then using it is great, way better than the new Black & Decker versions, or the similar Ryobi version which flexes badly. It’s not cheap and some people dislike its MDF, my plan is to just duplicate the two plates from hardwood or marine plywood myself if/when they start to wear out. So far it’s been fine.
Wolfcraft hat hier einen Spanntisch gebaut, der jetzt natrlich nicht die eierlegende Wollmichsau ist, aber trotzdem und gerade in Anbetracht seiner Preiskleisse mehr als ordentliche Leistung erbringt.
Der Zusammenbau ist etwas frickelig, wenn man IKEA-Anleitungen gewhnt ist, da viele Arbeitsschritte gleichzeitig auf einer Explosionszeichnung markiert sind, aber mit etwas scharfem Hingucken sollte das jeder geregelt bekommen.
Der Spanntisch eignet sich meiner Meinung nach ideal fr Heimwerker, die “mal eben schnell” etwas sgen, bohren oder sonstwie bearbeiten mssen. Dank des kompakten Formats kann man ihn gut in ‘ne Ecke der Wohnung stellen und z.B. fix auf dem Balkon aufzubauen, um auch direkt nicht das Problem damit zu haben, dass die Wohnung voller Sgemehl ist.
Natrlich ist es nervig, dass man kurbeln muss, um den Tisch aufzubekommen, statt irgendwelche cleveren Lsungen mit Schnellspannern und dergleichen zu haben – und die maximale Gre der zu spannenden Objekte ist auch begrenzt. Aber seine Marktlcke trifft das Ding hier genau, und zu einem ordentlichen Preis.

Attention : Les pices pour le montage sont emballs, mais deux rondelles sont monts sur deux pices et peuvent s’garer comme ce qui m’est arriv lors du transport. Bien faire l’inventaire avant d’effectuer le montage. Heureusement, Amazon pu rectifier le tir trs rapidement. Je remercie encore la qualit du service Amazon pour cela. Unter den ganzen Spanntischen hatte ich mir nun diesen von Wolfcraft bestellt.
Ausschlaggebend dafr waren zum einen die bisherigen Rezensionen, der Preis und die doch recht stabil wirkenden Produktbilder.
Auerdem ist das nicht das erste Produkt von Wolfcraft, was mich berzeugte.
Der Aufbau ging ganz gut anhand der beiliegenden Anleitung und den richtigen Werkzeugen.
Der Klapp-Mechanismus hat sofort funktioniert.
Die ersten Tests verliefen durchweg zufriedenstellend.
Ich habe mir als erstes damit eine Halterung (Holzplatte 20×15) fr einen Doppelschleifer zurechtgesgt, diesen DS an der Platte montiert und auf dem Spanntisch eingespannt. Der Schleifer hielt wunderbar und ich konnte ein paar Schleiftests durchfhren.
Nun steht er in der Ecke und wartet drauf regelmig aufgestellt zu werden.
Wenn ich msste, wrde ich ihn mir nochmal holen … so als Zweit-Spanntisch :-), z.b. fr eine Kapp- und Grungssge, damit man nicht immer umspannen muss.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
Lo esencial es que los herrajes son buenos y firmes, la mesa no se mueve cuando trabajas en ella. Se supone que lo compramos aficionados al bricolaje. Las instrucciones de montaje pierdes un poco de tiempo pero al final lo logras, la calidad del tablero, pues eso cuando se estropee lo cambio por otro que a mi me interese tanto en tamao como en calidad. Cumple con lo que se espera de un banco. (nunca ser como tener tu propio banco hecho por ti mismo, esta pensado para los que no tenemos espacio y nos ayudamos de estos elementos (para no estropear la mesita de la terraza y que tu pareja no te d la bronca).
Finally got there! Began to doubt myself as an engineer as I couldn’t get it to fold. In the end I found it was the top of the legs which wouldn’t disengage from the location peg. A bit of persuasion soon sorted this and I could see where the grey paint had scraped off on top of the front legs after folding.
I agree with the other reviews that the instuctions are poor. I used the photo on the box.
A few washers wouldn’t go amiss.
In the end though it looks like a decent work bench.
Pratique pour serrer des pices coller par exemple, que pour serrer, pour couper, pour visser, poncer, peindre etc…Il rempli la fonction pour laquelle il est dfini.
Ces plateaux sont amovibles et rglables selon l’angle choisi avec les 2 manivelles. Assure une bonne stabilit grce ces pieds serti des caoutchouc et s’adaptent au sol sur lequel il est pos. Assez solide et robuste si on en prend soin, il est galement facile ranger car pliable.
Facile monter, mme si la notice est un peu succincte, mais tout bon bricoleurs y arrivera sans s’en mordre les doigts. Ravis de cet achat je regrette juste que ne peut le rgler en hauteur, il existe bien mais le prix n’est pas du tout le mme.
Le rapport qualit prix est l et se trouve bien plac par rapport aux tablis concurrents.
Great piece of kit strong grip and easy to assemble
Livr en pices dtaches, il faudra le monter, en suivant le plan de montage qui est assez succinct sur les explications. Mais si vous tes attentifs aux dessins, il n’y a vraiment aucune difficults.
Niveau fabrication, le pied est trs rsistant et stable. J’ai pu y travailler des planches de 2m de long sans soucis. La table est solide et supporte un bon poids. Le serrage des deux plateaux (1 plateau mobile, l’autre fixe) est ais et pratique grce aux deux manivelles qui permettent d’avoir un angle (jusqu’ 14) entre les deux plateaux. Le serrage est efficace et maintient parfaitement les pices de bois travailler. Il faudra toutefois prendre soin de nettoyer les vis sans fin et les graisser rgulirement car elles ne sont pas protges de la sciure qui tombe directement dessus.
L’ensemble est pliable ce qui limite l’encombrement lorsqu’on le range.
En conclusion, je suis ravi de cet achat. C’est une table indispensable pour pouvoir raliser des petits travaux de menuiserie.
Not difficult to assemble, I prefer this to a previous well known brand as it is lighter to handle. Opening and closing could be a little easier, as it depends on you ensuring a couple of bolt heads are clear of the lugs which keep them in check for tightening, but a small price to pay for a good value and sturdy product.
I did a lot of research and after a lot of deliberation plumped on Wolfcraft work bench. After reading the reviews on this, I purchased a pack of nylon lock nuts to make things a bit more of a solid construction. Instructions were easy enough. Bench is stable and doing what it said on the Tin, no Complaints.
I’m very pleased with it: a sturdy, versatile bench. As others have noted, the assembly instructions could be better, so take your time and proceed with caution!

Se avesse i 2 pannelli, che sono in legno MDF, di un legno invece di migliore qualit, ad esempio in bamb, sarebbe perfetto
( per forse costerebbe dI pi…..).
Consiglio di sostituire i dadi forniti con dadi autobloccanti, quelli forniti sono dadi normali e non inclusa nessuna rondella elastica che ne eviti l’allentamento durante l’uso.
Per quanto riguarda la spedizione, ho ricevuto l’oggetto solo nell’imballo del produttore senza perci, come mi sarei aspettato, nessun imballo ulteriore come di solito effettua Amazon. Se il trasportatore ha poca cura potrebbe venire danneggiato.

La consegna stata veloce, ma secondo me si potrebbe fare ancora meglio, il pacco partito da Piacenza, poi andato a Sala Bolognese, poi tornato in direzione contraria da me a Milano.
This is a very solid sturdy, work bench but it requires one to read and study the instructions very carefully before assembling the lot.,I reckon that the whole process took me about 2hours one evening. It should last for quite a long time
Edit: nach dem Hinweis von einem anderen Kufer habe ich mir den Tisch und ein paar Originalfotos von der Website des Herstellers noch einmal genau angeschaut: in der Tat ist es so, dass die beiden Schrauben fr die grnen Spanngriffe durch die Langlcher (!) in den Beinen gefhrt werden mssen. Wenn man das macht kann der Tisch ganz zusammengeklappt werden und beim Aufstellen rastet er nun auch vernnftig ein. Jetzt gibt’s doch 4 Sterne, 1 Stern Abzug wegen der bescheidenen Aufbauanleitung die anscheinend nicht nur mich in die Irre fhrte.
I’ve had this nearly 2 years now, and it is holding up well. Some of the blue print is starting to wear off but I suppose that is to be expected. It has a good solid feel to it.

Habe mit Hilfe des mobilen Spanntisches ein Regal gebaut. Dabei hat sich der Spantisch bewhrt. Besonders gefallen haben mir die Mglichkeit des schnellen Auf- und Abbaus (nutze die Terasse als “Freiluftwerkstatt”), aber auch die relativ gute Standfestigkeit. Mit Hilfe der Spannvorrichtung lsst sich gut arbeiten, vor allem wenn man nur zwei Hnde hat.
Bin am berlegen, ob ich nicht einen zweiten Spanntisch fr das Bearbeiten grerer Werkstcke wegen der gleichen Arbeitshhe dazu kaufe.
Apropos Arbeitshhe: 5 – 10 cm mehr Arbeitstischhhe wre fr mich mit 1,85 m Lnge schn.
Die Materialempfindlichkeit der beiden Tischplatten (= Spannbacken) kann ich, wie von anderen Kunden schon angemerkt, besttigen.
Trotzdem: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis ist stimmig!

Not much to say that hasn’t being said already. More sturdy than the cheaper versions, as good as the more expensive Black and Decker. The manual is poor, my tip is the pictures on the box it comes in are of more use.
This is a brilliant little work bench. I managed to put it together on my own in under an hour. The instructions are diagrams but this isn’t a problem. Just remember to have a bit of patience and put it together when you’re in a good mood!! I’m a woman so it can be done quite easily.
Was put off a new B&D Workmate by reports of poor build quality on recent products. Opted for this one instead. Very happy with it. Much easier to fold than the old Workmate, too.
Delighted with the quality of this bench. Instructions are a little hard to follow but it all came together in the end.
Tried to replace my 30+ year old B&D workmate but all the new ones were flimsy by comparison. Saw this and am so glad I opted for it. It’s sturdy and very portable.
Die Montage ist relativ einfach, ich hab fr den Zusammenbau einen Akku-Schrauber verwendet, denn es sind 18 Stk. gleiche M6 Schrauben mit Mutter und 4 Stk. M8 fr die Arbeitsplatten.
ACHTUNG wo ihr die 2 Stk. Sechskantschrauben M8x50 fr die Klemmbebel reingebt! Denn gebt Ihr diese Schauben in das oberste Loche der Standbeine anstatt in das zweite Loch (leichtes Langloch) so lsst sich der Spantisch erstens nicht vollkommen zusammenklappen (drfte einigen wie ich den Rezensionen gelesen passiert sein) und zweitens nicht waagerecht arretieren bzw. festklemmen.
Die Arbeitsplatte aus bedruckten MDF-Platten ist leider sehr empfindlich. Ich habe diese vorm ersten Gebrauch leicht entgratet und die Arbeitsflchen mit einer transparenten Klebefolie berzogen. Ich bin da leider sehr pingelig 😉 aber es ist ja nur ein Arbeitsgert und kein Mbelstck!
Ich kann diesen Spanntisch nur Empfehlen und wrde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.
This does not have lots of fancy movements like some of its competitors but it is well engineered and appears a lot stronger than most, it is very very much like the original workmate. The solid construction means it is heavy. Care is needed to assemble it, read the instructions carefully, there are unused holes which makes it a little more difficult, and it is easier if you have a 10mm socket and a large cross point screwdriver. I am well pleased with the final result.
Despite other reviews saying these are difficult to assemble, my partner had no trouble putting it together and professed it an excellent product.
This was Christmas gift from my lovely wife because I had mentioned that I missed my B&D Workmate that I left behind in Canada. I was surprised that she had chosen the Wolfcraft but not so after reading the reviews and seeing the product for myself. I found it easy to assemble and it took about 30 minutes. It is well constructed and a welcomed addition to my assortment of indispensible tools.
This work bench turned up well packed and in good time. A well constructed unit with quality components, much better than the standard BD unit I had been considering, all parts were in place ready to go. Little bit of advice before putting it together though. Before you start highlight all the English instructions with a marker pen, as there are so many languages indicated you can’t see the wood for the trees.
If you want a fairly strong workbench don’t worry go ahead – I haven’t used any of the B&D for a while so cannot compare them – how many workbenches do you need after-all.
One thing that is slightly annoying – and I can image the German designers looking at the asymmetry of the peg hole layout in the original workmate top “look the stupider Englishers have haven’t even lined all the holes properly – we can do better” …………..
……….yes well it means that the options for aligning the pegs to adjust for a range of timber sizes is very limited and that is a pain in the butt. I guess I’ll get around to drilling a few myself and it will then be fine. Just a dumb design error.
I was a bit concerned about assembly after reading the reviews on here, but I can only assume that the instructions have been revised as I had no problems. I meant to time how long it took me, but I forgot to check the exact finish time, so all I can say for sure is that it took more than 22 minutes but definitely less than 30. It would no doubt have been quicker if I didn’t have arthritis in one hand and I hadn’t been cooking tea at the same time!
You need a #3 Phillips screwdriver and a couple of spanners (10mm and 13mm) for assembly, and the box is a fair old weight when the delivery driver hands it to you …
It’s a substantial product which folds and sets up easily, and for the price I can’t fault it.

Fast delivery and well packed. It appeared to come from Germany. A German quality product, as is their garden tools. My husband put it together with no problems, He is 70 and said it was quite easy to do.
Excellent product. However, one of the screws sheared before I could even torque it up properly. The rest were fine. When I approached Conrad about this (as the direct vendor) they said they couldn’t supply the screw. I would have to buy it myself and then bill them.
I was unable to find the right screw in the shops, but was told anyway I couldn’t buy just one and would have to buy a whole pack. So I am still operating this workbench minus one important screw in a leg. I just hope it doesn’t collapse when I am working with it, causing injury.
So I am very dissatisfied with Conrad. I won’t purchase anything from Amazon using Conrad again, and will tell my friends about this experience.

his is a briliant brilliant piece of kit. I built it in less than half an hour , no problem. I already had a cheap workbench but the handle winders were busted and I could never get the table tops to line up. this is a much better build altogether. I don’t know what else to say except don’t hesitate buy it. Mine has’nt disappointed me at all. Strong, Sturdy great grip and built to last.
This bench is extremely good, sturdy and very simple to put together. I have very little experience in DIY and managed to construct it without any problems and the instructions were very clear. Perhaps the manufacturer listened to previous feedback and did something about it. It’s a doddle. A great bench that I’ll get many years of use out of.
Anyway, on to the product:
After reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical about how easy it would be to build this thing.
It turned out to be quite easy, although the nuts and (Phillips headed) bolts that hold the two screwing arms onto the legs are a bit more fiddly than they probably need to be.
I didn’t time how long it took me to built it (I’d guess around 1 hour), but I had no problem with the instructions. I can see how some would get confused with the exploded diagrams. Having a socket set, a set of crescent spanners [wrenches] and a good chunky Phillips screw driver would be handy. I managed just fine with a big crappy adjustable spanner, some sockets and a screwdriver. Crescent spanners would have made the fiddly bit I mentioned above a lot less fiddly.
From memory the nuts are 10mm and 13mm.
I was a bit forceful with the handles that “lock” the folding mechanism and the pressed steel holding rails have bent a bit out. My own stupid fault really, I’ll just bend them back in and be more gentle in future. I’d like to stress, this was completely my fault. To explain a bit more: there are two parallel bits of pressed steel out of the frame that hold the bolt head that the handles for “locking” the folding mechanism spin on (to hold them so they don’t just spin and spin, so the folding mechanism is “locked”.) I hope that makes sense.
It seems solid enough, but at the moment I’ve not had a chance to test it out. It’s a good weight which makes me feel confident that it will be nice and sturdy enough when using it.
The “dogs” (the clip in bits to hold pieces with) fit snugly while not being too tight to remove them.
The screw arms operate separately and the handles feel well made and plenty sturdy enough.
The folding mechanism has a groove in the top of the A frame that it slots into with a good sturdy “clunk” that is reassuring.
Even though I’ve not put it through it’s paces yet, it feels like this workbench will be accompanying me on my hobbyist DIY adventures for a good long while. If this turns out to not be the case I’ll update this review.
it took a while to put it together and some of the nuts worked loose even though they had been well tightened. It would have been better if they had been locking nuts or had star washers with them. Easy to erect and pack away after use.
Once its built though everything is fine.
Bought this after reading all the reviews. Great, sturdy product that I’m sure will last many years. I was a little worried about the “poor instructions” and potential “hours” required to build it, but it was fine in the end. The instructions are not step-by-step, but as long as you study the diagrams properly, then you should be up and running in 30 minutes (inc. unboxing). If you struggle assembling IKEA furniture, then maybe it’ll take you longer. A top tip is that there’s two bags of bits – only open one at a time, when you need them – they’re for two stages of the build.
Why you might ask is he writing a review now, well the other day while working with the workbench and a very sharp circular saw, my curiosity was pricked when a little blue thing dropped on my foot, only to discover I had sliced through a handle. It really is amazing how many different ways there is to say “B*****KS”. I checked all manner of places to find new handles, alas I couldn’t find anywhere that sold them, so I wrote to Wolfcraft Germany to ask advice, and within a week two new handles where delivered free of charge.
It is extremely rare in this day and age to find a Company willing to sacrifice profit for customer satisfaction, and for that alone this review needed to be written.
It is very stable! If you put also, between the legs, some weights it is like to have screwed in the floor! 5 stars for the stability/price.
Before I buy it, I had the oportunity to try the B/W (cheap design and there is no stability) The positive of the B/W is that it is lighter (maybe this is the reason for the lack of stability).
As many others said for the assembly, it needs (before you try to assemble it) to see, study and understand carefully the diagrams of the instructions and then it is not so much difficult.
Although the instructions didn’t come in English format; it was pretty easy to set up. Very nicely made; easy to use and perfect for sanding and when used with clamps; totally the right bench to have for my garage.
Well made, works well. Other reviews seemed to have problems putting it together,i thought that sounded a bit daft and then went on to have problems myself! Doh!
No worries though, even i sussed it it the end and it is a really good tool. I imagine i will use it for years to come.
As others have said, this is a solid sturdy product. However, you do have to pay particular attention to assembling the hinge mechanism/side handles as if you put them in the wrong place it won’t stay upright or won’t fold. And the picture shows that you fold it by pulling it down, when in fact you loosen the side handles and pull it up. Also, with mine, the bracing piece that connects horizontally at the front set of legs, the screw holes on one side is off by a few mm, I’m going to have to manually drill the hole in the correct place myself. Not a big issue; but annoying.
One question, is the top piece nearest the rotating handles supposed to move around by a few mm? I have tightened the recessed bolt as much as possible, but it still slides around a little…
I’m no expert DIYer, but this workbench seems to exactly fit my needs (i.e. the occasional job) at a good price. It was straightforward to assemble, seems well made and folds up and down easily. Overall I am very pleased with it.
The work-table is excellent .
It is assembled with the help of your spouse in one hour -good fun like a mechano set -you need ideally pliers and correct spanners .
Only criticism is 4 plastic blocks which so far have not presented any problem -my old Black and Decker had metal blocks but it is no longer manufactured in this old form .
I had a lot of unsatisfactory delivery problems form Yodel THE CHOSEN CARRIER-3 ATTEMPTS TO DELIVER NOT PROPERLY EXECUTED IN MY CASE .I much prefer Royal mail but Yodel is chosen by the vender in UK.
It is despatched direct from Germany .
Also the 5 year German manufacturers guarantee has not been obtained in UK by me .No documentation ever provided despite requests from the UK vendor .The table is a very good German efficiently manufactured product and the vender is good . Wolfcraft 6177 Master 200 Workbench
