We have been using this for around 3 months now, I was hesitant and first thinking it was going to fail on me, we have been away 3 or 4 times for long weekends leaving the feeder to do it’s thing. Really happy. Pop ups when food is running low or there is no food in the bowl.
    Would recommend.

Very good feeder, great value for money. App works great and it’s easy to setup. My pet cat loves it!

    Great smart feede

This feeder does everything we need it to. It’s easy to use, the portion sizes are adjustable and more importantly our cat enjoys eating from this more than a regular bowl!!
The only thing I wish is that we’d paid for the one with the camera on for when we’re away for longer than usual.
I would recommend this feeder though.

We have tried many cat feeders. All have succumbed to our feline friend. We read the review about Olaf (worth a read as it’s a good review, helpful, and made me laugh.), and thought he is exactly like our cat Tilly..and we so took the plunge. Overall it’s a good feeder. Easy to program. Good potion control. So why not 5 stars. Because our cat still moved it around the kitchen like some play thing. She knocked it over, and whilst the food did not come out, it stopped working, as it is gravity fed. She also pulled the plug out. Basically it needs to be heavier. We thought about weighing it down with a something, but we were worried that she would just pull the weight onto her..I guess the manufacturer would think it’s not worth the extra cost and effort to design for a one off super feline cat like ours, but there are at least two out there if I include Olaf..it would be perfect it there was some way to make it heavier, but safely.

Absolutely amazing product, works away from the home too. We have a Pavlovs cats situation in our house, they come running when they hear the voice message! The portion size is small but you can so easily put more than one each feed. Looks really nice, fits loads of food and the storage area is cat proof! . Just brilliant, well worth the money:)

    Zelda loves it!

    The good bits
Easy to set up, to clean, to fill up. Secure top lid. Good potion size. My cat can hear our voice recorder activated that food ready while she is out in the garden.

    The bad bits
    Unfortunately there is nothing

    The wishes (it’s possible..i know)
1st We wish that this kind of dispenser can be usre with the wet food as well.
2nd We wish we can record a short video clip of our face as well as the sound. So our cat can see our faces while eating her food

Lilly soon got used to it! She even had the cheek to sit by it during the morning waiting for more!

Bought this as we had to leave our cat at home for a few days. Had it working for a week beforehand to check its reliability and to work out the correct portions per meals. Cat learnt very quickly to feed from it and we now use it every day to feed her. No more being woken up at 6am to be fed!

I’ve got two cats and initially got this because we were going away but the added benefit is that one of my boys is very greedy when it comes to food and will manipulate both me and my partner for food. If we forgot to communicate he would get double meals so with this feeder it’s better to keep him on a portion control and he doesn’t seem to mind. Easy to use and clean. Holds quite a bit of food on top and the functions are great.

I bought this feeder because I have two cats: one who likes to graze through the day, and another who likes to eat ALL THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY. I bought them the SurePet microchip connect cat feeders some time ago, which work really well, but I wanted to find a way to feed the greedy cat (Maisie) tiny portions several times a day without having to put the food out for her each time.

I bought a couple of other timed feeders first, but they were not satisfactory. They only allowed for four or six feeds a day, they weren’t easy to dismantle for cleaning, and the portion sizes were far too big to work for Maisie to have enough feeds each day without putting on half her own bodyweight in a month. (Much to her distress!) This feeder, however, comes apart really easily, so it’s very easy to clean; it allows for numerous feeds to be dispensed each day (and if I want to I can release another feed from my phone at any point); and it looks nice, which isn’t to be sniffed at.

My only quibble with this feeder is that it still dispenses a rather large portion each time it spits the food out, even when set out on the smallest setting. But I found that was easy to deal with: the food is dispensed by falling from the hopper into a rotating portion controlling thingy (technical term!) a bit like a spoked wheel, Each time the feeder dispenses food the spoked wheel rotates by one-sixth, pulling food from the hopper on the top of the feeder and dropping it into the bowl below. I realised the gaps between the spokes of the dispensing wheel could easily be changed so I cut out wedge-shaped sections of packaging foam, taped them into the dispensing wheel, and Bob was (as my friend Clever Andy used to say) my mother’s brother.

I’ve had this feeder for a couple of months now and Maise knows the sound of it so well she’ll bolt for the landing where it’s housed whenever she hears that sound. My modifications are holding out well, and don’t seem to have become damaged or worn; and my cats (especially Masie!) are much more settled and contained. So I’d call this a definite winn!

Portion size is quite small at about 9 grams but once you have set all the times for the food to drop it’s quite a good quality product , yes I would recommend

This is so easy to set up and easy to use. I was a bit skeptical about this product at first but the timer for feeding through the app is accurate and food is always delivered on time. I also love that I can record myself before the food comes out so my cat can hear me.The design is simple and love that the plate is metal. The app is very simple and straight forward.you can also get this feeder with a camera but I already have a cctv. I bought this because some weekends I need to be away for 1 day and this is gonna come in handy. I will still give my cat wet food when I’m around though. But I now feel so much better that this machine is around when I’m out.

    Worth every penny

I ordered two of these automatic feeders to use while I was away for the weekend. Once we had worked out the mistake in the instructions they worked perfectly and my cats were fed while we were away. Good portion size and the number of portions work out well. Highly recommended.

Bought this to feed my kittens whilst I’m out during the day and have to say I am really impressed. I was a little hesitant but thought I would take the chance, im so glad I did. You can set upto 6 feeds a day I think it said and upto 6 portions per feed. As shown in my video I dispersed a portion of food to show how much comes out per portion. I have mine set to give my kittens 4 portions per feed 3x a day. It has a voice recording but like others have reviewed, it isn’t very loud but my cats react to it now. Aslong as you read the manual then it’s pretty straight forward, it didn’t take me long to work out the settings and get it going.

    Perfect!

It works well. Once you have the hang of the controls to programme it it’s all fairly simple. Only a few disasters with portions of food pouring out during programming and a kitten beside himself with excitement. The only thing that doesn’t work is the recorded voice message function. Somehow it has managed to turn my voice into a dalek and it plays very quietly.

Difficult programming instructions, but watch You Tube for “how to do it”. My first feeder was sent back due to kibble jamming motor. This machine using Royal Canin quite large kibble to date has not jammed. Once you get the method of programming the machine it reliably performs nd particularly good is the cat prompt call for food. The smallest portion 1. though could be smaller
since it is above Royal Canin’s portion recommendation of appx 7gms for my particular weight of cat feeding one pouch per day of wet food and 30 gm kibble divided into 4 seperate meals.

Really impressed with the pet feeder. Easy to set and the cat got used to it straight away. Perfect for feeding when you have gone out . Love the voice recording, he heard it from upstairs and flew down the stairs. Did find it hard to take apart definite knack to that but don’t suppose it will need doing very often. Overall really really satisfied/ pleased.

I was apprehensive, but this was easy to set up and seems to be working without any issues.

It did take a little time to work out how to program it, but I managed in the end. The instructions definitely need a bit of clarification.

The cat has slowly started getting used to the new system. Being able to record a message has been good.

One thing I would have appreciated would be some way to fasten the unit down, as it is easy to be knocked over when the cat really tries. Hopefully he’ll learn that the lid is secure and knocking it over wont result in food.

All in all, so far so good.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe have two cats, one is aware she is a cat and though determined will give up and go out and hunt innocent wildlife. The other has cost us hundreds in broken items around the house. Olaf is big, strong, white, and too clever for his own good. He has broken every wine glass in the house, knocked off expensive head torches and headphones for the puppy to chew, pulled up carpets, eaten all my plants, shat in another pet’s sandpit, and wakes us up by wailing and scratching our legs under the duvet if he isn’t fed at precisely 4am.

Despite this we do love him and have tried multiple automated feeders, all of which he has broken or broken into. this one, being the most expensive so far, left me with trepidation to purchase, because he will scratch it and make it unreturnable and that’s 70 down the drain again.

HOWEVER! It works! Neither he, nor his mildly conniving sister have managed to get their paws up the cleverly concealed spout to pull any food out, they can’t get the lid off because it twists and doesn’t have easily lifted clips (he can open zipped bags, did I mention that?). They have knocked it over once but I have now put 10kg in weight plates on it. And there is not a scratch on it.

It’s really easy to set up, the instructions enclosed are clear and once I had done it once I haven’t needed to refer back to make tweaks to their schedule. Having it plugged into the mains is excellent, no more expensive C or D batteries. But you can also run on batteries or have them as a back up if you choose. It holds a good amount of kibble so I don’t have to reset it every day like previous pop up or spinning feeders. It also looks very neat and the LED on it turns red when the food does get low so you don’t have to risk your hands opening the lid with the cat fighting to get in it.

I heartily recommend this if you have the kind of cat who will move heaven and earth to get to one bit of kibble that has been under the fridge since you moved in.

My wife recently started a new job so she’s now unable to feed our pet Pomeranian at his usual mealtimes. We bought this pet feeder so he doesn’t have to wait until she’s home from a long shift and disrupt his eating pattern.

The WOPET automatic pet feeder has a large 4L capacity, so we only need to replace the dry food contents every week or two. Refilling the unit is very simple, you just twist open the lid and directly pour in your cat/dog food.

You can also record customisable 10-second messages, which can notify your pet that it’s mealtime. This also helps pets with separation anxiety.

I have two Bengal cats and although one can be left with unlimited food to graze on throughout the day the other is a bit greedy and needs set portions. I purchased a microchip pet feeder for the grazer and was manually putting out 3 weighed meals a day for the other one. This was fine in theory but not ideal when I was home late or not in my normal routine. This pet feeder solved that problem entirely. It was so easy to set up and I love how it can run on batteries or via the supplied cable. It now provides 3 accurately portioned meals at set times, I even added a voice message which is played before the food is dispensed. My cat instantly knows it’s meal time and runs over to her bowl. Would highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe thing is the cat we have started to get fat because it doesn’t matter how much we put, she will eat everything this is why I have decided to invest in a pet feeder mainly to make my life easier and to make sure she gets the right amount of food.

Specifically about this item, in my opinion after almost a month of use it performs well. It has a 4 l capacity which is enough for around 1 week.
I add only dry cat food and i schedule it twice a day.

The feeder can work plugged or using batteries(not included) for more portability.

The bowl is easy to clean using water and dishwasher liquid.
There is also the option to record a voice message letting know the pet that the food is ready, in my case is even easier, the cat hears when the food is dispensed, she goes and eats, simple as that.

Overall thoughts about this? Helpful, well build device.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter having a cat that was a little too obese, the only way we found of making him eat less was to give him regular very small feeds which became a massive chore, even though we both work from home, so a solution was found.

This feeder means i can set it up on regular feeds with very small amounts (that apparently our cat now knows off by heart and is there waiting), it distributes a precise amount of food 6 times a day which at first was higher and has now been dropped gradually but keeping the same number of feeds. Once we are down to the right quantities, we can then start dropping the number of feeds down to 5, 4 etc, until we are back on 2 feeds a day with a healthy cat finally.

If you too struggle with portion control and exact timings and want to help your cat drop some weight (or even put it on) then this is a must have.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy mum rarely wants to go away for the weekend due to the family cat, she’s older and needs fed more regularly and my Mum genuinely worries most times she’s away about whether someones been round to feed the cat. The good news is with the WOPET Pet feeder she doesn’t have to worry.

The device holds 4L of dried foot and has programmable portion control up to six times a day. She simply sets the time and volume of the portion for when she’s away and all worry about the cat is gone.

The device is great, it’s nice and compact, simple to use, has a nice touch screen and seems to work really well. At the price paid it’s worthwhile for my Mum to have peace of mind while away from home.

With restrictions easing and hopefully we will be going out a bit more by springtime, we wanted an automatic pet dispenser for when we would be out for the day. It is better than just leaving the food out as I’m sure our dog will just eat it all whenever he sees it in the bowl. Also it avoids having to ask neighbours or family to come and feed the dog unnecessarily. This large 4 litre capacity Wotep feed dispenser device has a programmable timer to control the dispensing of food individual portions which suits us perfectly. Simply set the timer and the portioned amount of pet food will be dispensed.
We have tested it on a number of occasions whilst we have been in the house and also to get our dog used to the device. I love that you can leave a short personalised recorded message to help familiarise our dog. This is a nice useful pet friendly product.

    Useful product for pet owners

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you go on trips you need to invest in an automatic feeder as your backup!
Since buying it I am pretty impressed with the design on this one. Well-made sturdy item. The voice recording was cool. The cat dish is wide and deep so that kibble does not fall out easily when cats are eating like other feeders I’ve tried. The lid is quite secure. My cats have tried to nudge and open it but with no success. If you put batteries it will last a long time so you don’t always have to keep it plugged in. Easy to clean, just take the bowl off and wipe it with a cloth. You can also clean the opening quite easily.
    Overall, a great buy!

    Excellent portion control!
