Great looking and comfortable, you can remove the visor making it also good looking for any dyi jobs, climbing, skateboarding, etc.

    This helmet is generally good.

    Things I like:
    – simple design
    – peaked insert for added sunshade
    – lightweight
    – ease of adjusting straps for fit

Things I am not so keen on
    – hole for lock – seems a good idea but my lock and chain neither will fit through – its a sold secure diamond bike lock and maybe a different lock and chain would fit
    – light on the back – whilst this initially seems a good idea I find its awkward as I often turn it on by mistake whilst tightening the helmet screw to fit and its difficult to turn off or change when you are wearing the helmet

Overall though I like the helmet and would recommend i

Decent quality and quite comfortable cycle helmet that’s got a stylish minimal look and covers the basics well. The helmet itself is very lightweight and feels like it would offer some basic protection. It’s a decent fit on my adult male (big!) head and the chin straps are reasonably easy to adjust when you first fit it, thereafter you just snap them together and go. There’s a cute LED light on the rear tightener knob which can be set to flash or stay lit and when rotated it effectively tightens the helmet fit, from front to back.

I like the detail of the softer fabric-covered peak/visor at the front of the helmet, which looks good and gives a slight sun-visor effect. This peak extends inside the helmet down each side with slightly padded ‘wings’ and the whole thing attaches to the inner helmet with hook-and-look pads. The problem is that the comfort of the helmet is really dependant on this padded peak element and if you remove it your forehead gets spiked by the hooked part of the hook-on-loop pads and it’s unwearable. As long as it lasts it’s fine but if it gets damaged or falls out you’re a bit stuffed. That aside it’s a good value helmet for occasional use but I think if you’re a daily commuting cyclist I’d suggest paying a bit more to get something better made and with a longer possible lifespan.

This helmet has an interesting design. It is matte black and lightweight and has some interesting extra features.
The most obvious extra is the peak at the front. This is just like a fabric peaked cap and is attached to the helmet with velcro so can be removed if not wanted. It’s interesting and unique but does make the helmet look a lot more like a horse riding helmet.
There is also a pop out circle at the back that reveals a hole where a bike lock can be threaded through.
The helmet has adjustable/removable padding that helps get the prefect fit. There is also a light at the back that when twisted, tightens the helmet to fit the head better. It’s one of the best fits I’ve had from a helmet.
Speaking of the light, this is a nice addition for visibility in the dark. The red light flashes so you can be seen.
I’d give this 5 stars but the helmet arrived with scratches in the matte finish and I feel this will just get worse with use.

    Interesting!

This bike helmet has a rounded front and a brim much like an equestrian hat. Unfortunately, the brim of the hat is not waterproof. Its outer shell is made of PVC material and the inside is foam, so it is very light to wear. There are red night lights on the back, and the magic is that rotating the night lights can adjust the size of the helmet. The helmet has a hole design that allows the lock to wrap around the helmet keyhole to lock onto the bike. Very nice bike helmet, I personally think it is more suitable for women.

Very pleased with this cycle helmet. Lightweight and robust. Easy to wear. Would ask that you check the measurements. It’s a neat fit.

This is a very cool bike helmet and I love the light idea.
The design is great but a bit bulky and big maybe, but is comfortable and easy to place.
It looks safe to me too and is breathable.
I like the colour and the detachable visor.
The light is working well and is a bright plus is easy to change. It is a practical helmet and the light is a fantastic idea.

This is a very light helmet that is reminiscent of helmets worn by jockeys, with the added addition of a rear light that can toggle between static and flashing.
I have used this helmet on numerous occasions while riding to work and I’ve received many compliments from my fellow co-workers.
Ultimately, this is a nice helmet that is comfortable and light with the added bonus of classic English.

This feels like a very sturdy helmet which will hopefully give decent protection for your head.

Love the Velcro removable sun visor and the integral bright back light which has three settings. The light itself rotates to change the tightness of the helmet.

Comes complete with instructions and a storage bag.

Easy to get a really good fi

I love this helmet, it’s good quality and feels safe. It has a rear light which means you can cycle safely at night and it even has a space so you can lock a bike lock through it too. Amazing!

Really good quality bike helmet that is super comfortable to wear and a great size for teenagers and adults. This fits on my sons head and my husbands head with a very nice adjustment strap at the back. Not only that this helmet comes with a reflective light at the rear which add to its safety element. It’s a really good quality helmet that my husband has worn a number of times and reports it is very comfortable. The fabric tap at the front can easily be Removed if that’s not a star you are looking for but equally can be removed for washing as it can make your head rather sweaty

This brought a smile to my son’s face because he said it brought back memories of skateboard days, many years ago. Now he is using this for cycling. The sun visa is detectable but useful too. It has vents for air to circulate and soild padding for added head protection in the event of an accident. At the back there is an LED light with different modes, very handy for night rides.
The cycling helmet isn’t sleek like some but does offere protection. Ok for the fun side of cycling, but not shaped for speed.

Adult Bike Helmet, Bicycle Cycling Helmet Classic Urban Commuter Bike Helmet with Rear LED Light and Detachable Visor for Men/Women

The Product I received was a cycling helmet in black.

This is a nice looking cycling helmet, it comes in a matt black and definitely has a more urban/modern look. You can have the helmet with the visor attached or remove it and have without (attached with velcro) to get a different look. The cycling helmet comes with a red LED red light (battery included) and you have the option of off and on – static, steady flash or strobe flash (small button to press to choose light effect).

The helmet was easy to fit to the head, it feels solid but is lightweight, the straps are adjustable to ensure a good fit and feels nice and secure when on. It has a number of vents to keep your head cool and comes with a black drawstring bag to store the helmet in.

The cycle helmet is in a modern urban design and as well a protecting your head looks and feels nice on too. Would recommend.

Lightweight and comfortable. It looks stylish and fits perfectly around the ears. Can be easily adjusted to head size. Especially it is very light and comfortable to wear. The material looks solid. Allows you to wear the helmet in a comfortable way.
It’s light, and the helmet’s 6 vents ventilate the head without feeling stuffy.
The helmet has LED rechargeable taillights, including 3 lighting modes, which will help people behind you clearly identify your direction and provide more protection and visibility when you ride at night.

This adult sized multi-purpose helmet in matte black arrives unboxed if you’re intending gifting – in bubble wrap within a clear plastic bag. It looks stylish and comes with an instruction manual in English and German. Not too sure about the peak? It’s attached by Velcro to the inside and can easily be removed.

The red light on the rear of this Wildmax branded helmet can be set on steady, slow and fast flash and, adding to the versatility, the light’s housing can be turned to adjust the fit of the helmet. The chin strap is also adjustable making this helmet comfortable to wear even over long periods of time – and this and the inner band that goes around the forehead will absorb sweat.

With a tough polycarbonate outer shell and soft but protective and shock absorbing expanded polystyrene inner, this is a well made helmet. At 280g it’s very lightweight, good to wear – breathable with is 6 vent holes – and is scratch and impact resistant. There’s even an anti-theft locking hole to allow the helmet to be secured alongside the bike if you’re using this for cycling.

Well designed, this is a decent quality and stylish unisex helmet that’s also reasonably priced. It will adjust to fit head sizes between 22″ and 24″ and is well worth considering if you’re looking for an about town/commuter cycle helmet.

I have a slightly big head (literally, and maybe metaphorically), and finding any hat that fits is always a hit-and-miss affair, especially with rigid fixed safety helmets like this one. At least the manufacturers of this product don’t claim “one size fits all” like some do. I can wear this helmet for short periods, for example for messing around on a hoverboard for a few minutes, but an hour-long cycle ride wearing this would leave me with a serious headache and a big red line around my head.

As I expected from the price (in the twenty to thirty quid bracket), this isn’t a particularly clever helmet. There are no space-age safety materials, it’s essentially a thick plastic outer shell with a bit of very firm ‘foam’ on the inside, and even if my head weren’t already a bit of a squeeze for it, it would still end up sweaty because it’s not especially breathable, despite the large holes in it. The straps feel plasticky, but just slightly soft, and it’s not too difficult to find a comfortable strap position.

I got a black one, and the combination of colour, sheen and shape has the unexpected side-effect of making this look like a horse-riding helmet rather than a bike-riding helmet. I think most people would expect bike-riding helmets to feign a more aerodynamic shape or have bold branding on this, so in a crowd of cyclists, ironically this all-black helmet might actually stand out.

If you’re wearing a safety helmet because you feel obliged or required to, but you don’t really expect to get into any dangerous situations, this helmet is probably fine. If you’re commuting daily on a bike in heavy angry traffic, I would absolutely recommend paying a whole chunk more and getting something better quality. That’s not purely from a safety point of view- though I wouldn’t put a price on your safety- but also from a comfort point of view as well.

But that doesn’t apply to me, and as someone who only needs to wear this occasionally, for random messing about with my kids (who are already helmeted up) and for short bike rides, this does everything I need it to do, without being great. Hence, four stars.

This is a well-constructed and lightweight helmet which could be used for a variety of activities including, but not limited to, cycling.
In a matt black finish (with white Wildmax logo on the back) the inside has removable padding panels for comfort, as well as a removable visor to keep the rain or sun out of your eyes. Leave it on and you look a bit like you’re going out for dressage!
There is a useful light on the back which toggles with a simple switch between steady, slow flash, fast flash and off. It also doubles as a dial to adjust the snugness of the helmet, thus ensuring the perfect fit.
There are six vent slits, and there’s an anti-theft panel that pops out so you can slip your chain lock through it. Handy.
There’s also a black drawstring bag to keep it in.
Straps are comfortable and adjustable, as you would expect. All in all, a good and very versatile helmet.
