Bought earlier this year to cover a Cadac Carri Chef that is out year round at my caravan. Fits well and the drawstring keeps everything in place despite high winds. We’ve had several downpours and no leaks so it’s 5 stars from me.

Works and covers however can’t secure it properly if windy without knotting the tie then you end up fighting with the knots to get it loose again. Other than that works well. Definitely good waterproofing

Nothing but praise for this . Had all sorts of BBQ;s over the years but this is the easiest. Just put it on number 2 , close the lid & bingo . Not the biggest cooking area but big enough for small groups .

It is a simple and lightweight bbq cover, a bit big for our BBQ but hey it is better to be bigger than too small. We had our bbq staying out door all the time so it is great to cover it up with this waterproof cover to prevent it from getting wet and rusty. There is the drawstring at the bottom, tightening it up will prevent the cover from being blown off by the strong wind. So far it has been doing a good job on keeping our BBQ dry. Reasonable priced.

Seems more sturdy than the green woven ones that disintegrate over winter.

This cover could be a bit longer. My kettle barbeque is not particularly lengthy but the cover did not go down to the ground.
It seems to be waterproof and windproof, so that is a definite plus and, so far, it has stood the test of high-ish winds. My real concern is that, as the cover does not reach to the ground there is a risk of the barbeque, or at least the cover, ballooning and flying around the garden. Worth noting that there is a draw-string to help secure it.
Anyway, it is one of those items that you fix in place and then forget – and that in itself, is a recommendation.

I got this for a new Kettle-type BBQ from one of the leading manufacturers. The dimensions of the BBQ are 91 x 47 x 58 (HWD) and – as shown in the first image – the AMSAMOTION cover fits perfectly, reaching the ground. There is a drawstring around the bottom edge of the cover that allows any slack to be gathered in. Although this anchors the cover below the rear wheels the cover can slide up the front leg of the BBQ and so some ingenuity is needed to secure it properly. My experience of similar covers – on tables for example – is that really strong winds can get underneath any gaps around the lower edge, causing the cover to ‘balloon up’ and, in the storms before Christmas ’21, disappear across the garden. For absolute security a strap cinched around the BBQ below the kettle should prevent this happening.

During testing there was no wind and no rain, so the waterproof qualities could only be tested using a watering can … and it passed this test with flying colours. The water beads on the outer surface of the material and then runs off. A wooden table, protected with similar-looking material, remained dry all last winter, so I am reasonably confident that this cover will be equally good.

The cover has no external raised seams to catch rainwater and appears well made. Of course, the ‘proof of the pudding’ is how well it survives a British winter and I won’t know that for another year. It’s worth noting that, although waterproof, the BBQ is not totally protected as damp air can get underneath and cause corrosion. This happens with any BBQ cover and it’s worth either airing the BBQ when the opportunity occurs.

The price is competitive, and a lot better than some similar-looking covers. It is supplied in a small zipped pouch for storage which I will inevitably lose by the time I next need it. Recommended.

Perfect size for our bbq, has a pull tie so it can cover your bbq tight! It’s keeping our bbq dry which is always good for a cover that’s meant to keep it dry! Happy!

Made of good quality dense waterproof fabric with a strong drawstring toogle .
Makes for a good fit so the wind can’t catch and tear or remove the cover .
The other inner side of the cover is silver colour so I’m guessing this helps with the anti fade of the material too .
Good value for money , yes you can get cheaper but you get what you pay for with being well made and good quality fabric

Perfect fit and really good waterproof

Built-in drawcord secures in stormy weather. The grill cover fits perfectly. It can easily cover a small grill.

My old BBQ cover is starting to develop holes and is a bit grubby so I decided to opt for a new one. The BBQ in the picture looks identical to mine so thought this would be perfect. When it arrived it came in a waterproof zip bag. I found this strange because this is a cover so I don’t know why you would want to ‘cover the cover’ in a zip bag? Fair enough though if you like to put away your covers this would be a good way to store it.

The next thing I noticed was it is massive and twice the size of my old cover. My fault for not checking the sizing on the listing but as I say it’s far too big for the type of kettle bbq pictured. Despite this it does have a drawstring at the bottom which you can tighten. If you’re leaving the bbq outside this probably won’t be enough to keep it secured and I’ve wrapped a bungee cord around mine so no big problem.

Material wise it looks thick and hard wearing and at the price I would recommend – just check your size before buying!

Just what the doctor ordered. We’ve been using a scrappy old cover, more like a bin-bag than anything else and I’m pleased to have something decent at a reasonable price. The fabric is really weather resistant and will keep our little beauty cosy and dry in the winter months. It’s also a good fit because our BBQ is on the big side and I didn’t know if the cover would fit (but it did!). First class.
