I bought this as I travel a lot for work. No wi know that Ill be able to power my laptop and charge my phone, watch and cameras with this. Its quite heavy but I dont mind carrying it to be safe in the knowledge that I will still be able to use my devices.

Great fast charger using the USBC pd port will charge most phones at least at 15w fast charge and some up to 40w.
Capable of charging pd charging laptops and with the right cable can charge most laptops as well.
charges itself with its own plug in a couple of hours (can charge fairly quickly with other fast chargers as well)
A normal travel charger however would take a week to charge it.

Bought this to make my TS100 soldering iron portable, and it does the job. Whilst it will be slower to heat up, the iron has no issues pulling 30W+ building up to 320C.

I am due to go camping at the British GP in a few days time and I wasn’t planning to take my Macbook Air M1 with me. As I am now taking it with me, I realised that I would require a powerbank that is capable of charging my Macbook as the 3 other powerful powerbanks that I own cannot charge a laptop. Once it had arrived I needed to charge it from 2 lights to the full 10 and it only took only a few hours to do so with my 60w Macbook charger. I have just charged up my Macbook Air M1 from 11% to full and it has taken this powerbank well under 2 hours to do so and I still have 5 lights left showing. I wish I had 3 other just like this powerbank even though it is not cheap at all.

I have owned and used this power bank for 6 months.

This item is expensive yes, but it it of outstanding quality. The thing is built like a tank which inspires confidence it wont break in day to day use. It comes with an excellent USB-C charger which charges the power bank in just a few hours, and those few hours translate to many many phone charges meaning no matter how long I’m away from a wall plug, I’ve always got power. This power bank is brilliant, and makes me wish I’d brought this years ago rather than have brought all those ones for half the price that break in a few weeks, dont charge as fast in or out ect.

Works well with Surface Pro 6, basically gives 1 full charge of a surface if using it while charging, you can plug in at 1%, use it the whole time it charges and it will get to 100%, so probably extends battery by ~150%

This review is for the Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W. Very happy with this powerbank, a little on the heavy (& expensive) side but packs a lot of charging capacity. Solidly constructed, it should be able to withstand a few knocks whilst travelling. So far it charges all my devices including a ThinkPad Carbon X1 Gen 5 and an X13 Gen 1. It does appear to disconnect itself a couple of times when first plugged into the X13 but does eventually settle down and charge normally at 45W (see photo). Possibly for this reason the product description states that this powerbank isn’t compatible with the X390 which is a very similar build to the X13.

    Great for charging ThinkPads

Lots and lots of power in this power bank. Does the job. Down side is I couldn’t take it on holiday its far too heavy. Emergency charging in the home or office it’s great. I don’t regret buying it. If you want power and lots of it buy it.

Overall I am happy with my purchase because this will at least charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G twice as ‘Fast Charge’, which is a lot more than any others that I have tried.

The write up for this claims it will charge a Samsung S9 5.5 times; I appreciate my phone may need somewhat more power than that, but it does only have enough charge when full to charge my phone twice.

This power bank charges up very fast using the plug adapter provided or a fast charge usb c port ,
Once charged it can be used to power my laptop on the go via usbc-usbc cable which is included .
And can charge my iphone 11 or my sons I phone 12 from 0-80 % in 40 -45 mins , we allways take it on road trips and family outings it’s great .

Crazy good build quality. Support is fast and detailed in responses.

Great value altogether if you buy in a sale, like I did, for 20 off. A bit less value if you buy full price unless you need the 60w charger anyways.

The case that came with the power bank is garbage. The lock it uses cannot support the weight of this power bank and actually resulted in me dropping the power bank because I held the case by the friction lock and it just snapped off. Luckily nothing was damaged.

Do not trust the case that comes with it unless you just want to use it as a cover to stop scratches or other. Don’t use it to carry around however.

I’ve been buying Anker battery packs for years and have always found them very reliable and good value for money (the first pack I bought from them is still going strong 8 years later) The price for this pack is on the more expensive side but worth it for so much capacity and the ability to charge multiple devices at once (& multiple times) with both usb-a and usb-c. Where Anker has always stood out for me though is with its customer service. I bought this battery pack last October and a fault recently developed where one of the USB sockets was no longer working. I contacted Anker support and they were incredibly responsive and replaced my battery pack within a few days. Special mention to Lois, who was super helpful and contacted me a few days later just to make sure the new pack was working correctly. I’m a very happy customer!!

Has a huge battery which I was able to charge my iphone 7 or 8 times and my earphones as well. It will charge your devices really quickly. The powerbank its self will take around 3 hours to fully charge when used with the charging plug supplied. In terms of physical size, the powerbank is bigger than others but it is still easily portable in a small backpack so there is no issue there. Anker products are more expensive than others on the market but for the reason is you are actually buying reliable and quality items so just take that in to account before buying one of these cheapo unknown brands.

I’ve had mine for 6 months. Best purchase I’ve ever made.

I’m 3 days into a camping trip, using it to charge my tent light and my phone. Its only down to 50% charge.

It will gladly charge my phone for a week before needing a recharge.

It supplies 19v and will charge my dell laptop fully twice.

Just an utter beast of a thing it’s saved me on so many occasions.

Ignore all the silly negative reviews, they’re using it wrong. Charge using the supplied charger only. Don’t leave it flat for months. Look after it. Common sense, look after your batteries.

Bank feels nice, it is a bit heavy but the capacity is great. However, not even the USB-C slot (not even with a samsung cable) will get you the super fast charge, so you’ll have to do with regular fast charge. Good for delivery drivers if you don’t mind a little extra weight.

  33. Jeffery Balastia says:

I needed enough power to charge up a MacBook & an iPhone on camping trips. I went on a 2 day trip & it performed perfectly. I didn’t need to charge my MacBook but did charge my iPhone multiple times & also powered the usb LED lights in my tent & had 60% power still when I got home. Then the other day I charged the MacBook from 20% charge to full & fully charged my iPhone from 10% while sat out on the patio & the Anker still had 30% left. The fast charger it comes with is really fast to charge for such a big power bank & a must have to make it usable when you need it. Even round the house I have found uses for it for an aging iPhone battery. Overall a great purchase & would recommend it if you need lots of power for extended trips away, a little heavy for backpacking if you like to keep weight down so maybe a bit of overkill if you just need to charge a phone once or twice but like I said if you need lots of power then go for it.

Having used Anker Power banks for years, this has the cleanest finish, the aluminum body feels solid and resists scratches much better than previous plastic models. The high power charge/discharge is a nice quality of life improvement.

A positive experience I had, was that Anker’s customer service is excellent. My 26800 failed a few months in, tried all of the recommend steps, but no leds indicated or power. Anker replaced it within the week without any difficulty on my end. Really pleased, and I’m confident that it was a out of the ordinary failure as I have Anker power banks from 2014 still working.

I left my Anker Power Bank, PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W fully charged for a period of several months and when I looked at it again it had lost all its charge. Furthermore I was unable to charge it, so contacted Anker Europe support.

The support received was superb and in the end I was sent a new unit to replace the defective one. I’ve long liked Anker products and this was the first occasion that I needed support.

It charges my macbook pro about 1 (maybe 1.2) times, I use it all the time for when I’m out and about – I have to say it is much more useful than I was expecting!

The real reason I came to write a review though was to say how great Anker were about honouring their warranty – my original device stopped charging after about 6 months for no reason, and I was dreading having to contact them about it because of my experience with trying to claim from other companies, but within a day of us agreeing that it really was broken and no troubleshooting steps worked, they sent out a new one that arrived next day. It was simple and painless.

Very great product with very fast charging. I was able to charge my laptop as well with both the powerbank and the included 60W adapter which was a great bonus as I don’t have to travel everywhere carrying my heavy laptop charger and my phone charger all around, just have to carry the one from Anker.

There was a slight reliability issues however with the type-C port as it fails to charge my phone several times. I am still figuring out whether this was the phone or the powerbank however when using the type-A port no hiccups were visible.

The powerbank is not lightweight by any means but for 26800mAh you kinda don’t want to expect something lightweight and The powerbank feels sturdy and well built as the metal frame suggests. Even though the size and weight suggests otherwise, this powerbank will be very useful for travelling especially to places where charging is not available like on a camping trip or an exploration.

  49. ciara says:

Superb power bank, 1 and only downfall would be that it would be nice if it had 1 more USB C port. as the one that is there is used to charge power bank itself and then you need to use usb A for your devices. It would be nice to to have to carry usb a cables with you and just use USB C instead but its great for traveling, lots or charge and great value for money

I’ve used several Anker powerbanks and they’ve all been great and holding strong, none have become faulty or lost a significant amount of capacity and I’ve been using them for years. This is a very large powerbank as it packs a huge capacity, it is bulky and heavy but small enough for transport. It charges a range of devices from Laptops, phones, tablets and I even managed to get it to power a wifi router. I’ve experienced no issues with this powerbank, I use it for all of my devices and a charge usually lasts long enough for a week when I am on the go. I have it installed in my backpack which outputs through a USB port, so it’s very accessible.

I bought the Power Bank 26800.PD for charging my iPad and for powering my camera. Delivery direct from Anker was excellent, the item was well packed and arrived in a timely manner.

The item came complete with the advertised charger and accessories and was easy to use on first set up.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the output of power bank and I approached the Amazon troubleshooting portal, who after trying various option referred me back to Anker.

I was called back and after a few troubleshooting questions which did not solve the problem a replacement was sent out within 24 hrs after my problem was escalated to a manager at Anker – who explained, and dealt with my return quickly and efficiently.

The power bank is of good quality and does exactly as described. I have an iPad Pro 11 inch 2020 model and this power bank charges my iPad with no issues whatsoever. In fact I get around 3 full charges from it. I am able to use the iPad whilst charging at the same time which, is of great benefit to me. I would highly recommend this product. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased this primarily for wild camping. The unit itself is very high quality compared to other plastic ones. Unfortunately my unit stopped charging after 2 months, however after one email to customer support they sent out a replacement that contained another charger and pd cable. They went above and beyond to support my issue and the response time was faster than any other company I’ve had to deal with. Even followed up with subsequent emails to see if I was satisfied with replacement. I’ve bought many items from Anker and they will continue to be my main source of tech for this line of batteries.

I bought this item originally for travelling. Initially, after fully charging the power bank it was not charging anything and after contacting Customer Support who were happy to assist, the power bank started working again after trying to charge it again. Customer Service is great, the power bank works great and charges pretty fast especially with the USB-C port which is a great feature for charging my iPhone 11 Pro Max and Airpod Pro case.

The thickness isn’t too great as it is a little bulky (due to the amount of charging it can do I’m assuming), nonetheless still a great product and would definitely buy again.

The OEM charger which also came with this is great for charging the power bank too instead of using a regular charger which may take more time to fully charge the power bank.

Great product in a nice sealed package that gives you immediately confidence you got a top-notch product for the money spent.
The power bank is what you expect from a leading company and is made of a really sturdy piece of black satined metal outer case, the design is very clean and really well shaped with a great attention to details.
You feel from the first time you grab it that you got a great solid and well made product.
Nice compact size despite the capacity.
Inside the sealed and nice packaging you will find a cable USB-C to USB-C, the nice compact 60W PD charger and a soft and nice nylon sleeve with drawstring for the power bank.
The charger is well made, compact with a blue led matching the led of the power bank and very fast.

The feeling overall is to be in front of great products, sturdy, with a great attention to details and the there is that invisible feeling of satisfaction for the expense made, determined by the quality of the materials, the attention to detail and the leading performances in the sector.

I will say if you are traveling to remote areas with no power or power outages it would be worth carrying the extra weight.
I will probably also purchase a smaller version as the build quality is spot on.
Also recharge time for Anker power bank is quite fast.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUpdated review.
Unfortunately on receipt this device simply didn’t work. I initially had a very slow response from Anker so sent it back to Amazon for a full refund which was dealt with.
However, after a few days Anker did get in touch and sent me a replacement battery as a goodwill gesture. This has worked perfectly suggesting that the first one was an unlucky dud. I have bought several Anker products – they really are very good and reliable.

Having now had a chance to use it I would recommend the battery, as it is good quality, very robust and effective at quick and extensive charging. After an initial poor response from Anker, their customer service got on the ball and were also very good. So I am treating that as a one-off too.
NB. Be aware if ordering this – it is large and quite heavy: they do lighter ones more suitable for travel, but with less power. This one is probably more suitable for iPad or MacBook heavy use.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThere appear to be at least two versions of this battery pack, model A1375 and model A1376. I originally purchased the A1375 to power a Surface Pro 2017 and it works perfectly and will charge the Surface.

I then purchased a second battery pack using the buy again feature and received the A1376 — this version will not power the Surface Pro 2017 but works fine with other devices like the Nintendo Switch.

The power outputs on the two models are slightly different so check before purchasing.

This successfully charges my 2020 Mac book pro (13 inch with 4 thunderbolt3 ports), my iPad and my phone. It’s a little heavy but it does the job.

I like the whole unit and being able to charge my macpro while travelling is essential – so 100pc recommend – 4 stars for travelling just due to weight – but thats not the device’s fault these batteries are just heavy as they all are.**update** after a failure their customer service was outstanding. Device replaced after a phone call where they were so considerate. They repaid the postage cost on the return. Lovely. And now I can charge again. Many thanks

I’m reviewing this product after 6months ownership. This has been my favorite companion for all journeys. me for business and when with the family it easily handles our needs. PD charging for MacBook Pro is the best though :-). Unfortunately, my power bank developed a fault and stopped working recently. I reached out to Anker and they asked a few questions and honored the 18Month warrantee within 24 hours. They sent a new battery and asked me to dispose of the old one. A new battery arrived today 24hour later, Hey stuff goes wrong but the measure of a brand is how they deal with an issue, not how they sell you a product. That’s easy. Anker were outstanding and excluding a very minor inconvenience they turned an issue into even stronger brand loyalty. Shelly at Anker smashed it. Well done Anker!

This is my Fourth Anker Power bank. As always I’m impressed with the build quality and the ease of use. This is my first with PD charging and what a difference it makes. Instead of thinking “I need it tomorrow better start charging it today….” this is so much faster.
It arrived part charged and a couple of hours later it was all done.

In a nutshell if you need a power bank to take away with you, Anker is the way to go. Customer service is excellent if you need it, but so far everything has worked perfectly. My last powerbank is about 5 years old now and still going strong.

    Highly recommended.

Very high quality power bank – and high quality charger, works well with my apple kit (iPhone and Mac) not quite as portable as cheaper models

This is a chunky block of batteries but given the juice it carries that is to be expected. My 2020 MacBook Pro 17″ was charged up from 1% to 60% in an hour or so by this bad boy which considering the power draw of the MacBook Pro is impressive

I do not have much to say about this power bank apart from, BUY IT. It is the best battery pack you can find out there with 45W Power delivery, so it is able to charge my laptop, my iPad and phones.
This bundle deal comes with a wall charger and a type C cable, so this is the best combo you can get.
It has an input/output type C port and two USB A output ports, so you are very much sorted. I would suggest buying type C to lightning or micro USB cables to charge your devices quicker if possible.
Very happy with this product from Anker.

Arrived today charged fully in 2 hours from 2 bars of battery so far impressed its a beast seems to be worth every penny ,you will need big pockets to carry it as it is big and quite heavy but can quite happily live with that considering the amount of power it delivers and charge me phone , iPad Pro and laptop with out any problems at all

Even at 80-100 this battery pack and plug IS worth it. The battery pack holds enough power the recharge my iPhone XS Max 8 times and my razer blade stealth 13 3 times. The USB C port can provide up to 45watts of power which is enough to even charge my laptop quickly which is very useful during long days. You can also charge multiple devices from it at the same time which is nice.

The power plug can provide 60 watts of power and enough current to charge my razer blade from near empty to full in just over an hour and can charge the battery pack from empty to full in 2-3 hours. The battery pack I had before this would rake 9 hours to charge fully and this is a welcome change. It also comes with a carrying case which is nice to have and despite being a bit heavy and large it easily slips into a back pack and can be forgotten about until you need it

Worth a buy if you have long days or have a laptop with USB C charging that can support this power bank, like a MacBook, Dell XPS or razer blade

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis Power Bank is well worth buying a little heavy but packed with power the wall charger does an extremely good job at fast charging the unit, and the beauty is both have are IQ rated so it puts only the required charge for whatever is plugged, plus the wall charger unit is IQ so can be used on its own too charge your stuff.
One very import thing was I received this charger and unpacked it plugged in the wall unit charger connected the power pack then 35mins later the charger stopped working dead as a door nail I informed Amazon they created a return but this meant as the unit has a lithium battery it would need to be sent by UPS OR another carrier , so I sent an email to Anker explaining what had happened and under the 18month guarantee they responded within 15hrs asking for the sererial number of the wall charger and I received a new unit within 2 days this is excellent service and we’ll worth remembering should anyone need help ,I contacted Amazon and cancelled the refund.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMy second delve into using Anker Products after my first power bank was stolen while travelling. I’d recently bought a thinkpad so was looking for a power bank that would charge it while travelling. The Powercore fit the bill in theory so i took a chance. Quite a bulk and weighty power bank but to be expected with the capacity other that it worked like a charm and charged everything i could plug into it including my thinkpad. What’s also nice is the PD charger is smaller than the thinkpad’s and works on that as well so an added bonus. A couple of weeks ago the Powercore stopped charging anything and wouldn’t charge to 100%. The Anker customer service team were great and after a few tests sent me a brand new one no questions asked. New one is working well so far.

You just cant beat anker, alot companies are trying but these guys are the best! This charger is not light in weight, but the capability is amazing. It happily charges my macbook pro with ease and is great for a day full of offsite meeting. The plug is a little bulky but who cares.

his is essentialy a spare battery for your USB C charging laptop. Instead of carrying around another power lead and having to find a plug somwjere you have hours and hours of charging ability from this somewhat heavy battery. So you could use your laptop in remote places etc and this ultra relaible battery will take the worry out of a low battery message. It aldo has 2 USB ports to allow multi charging but its main feature has to be its ability to charge a laptop ….a great piece of ki

Again, an excellent product from Anker.

Charges my iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad Pro numerous times. USB-C PD is great.
The only downside is that it is far from pocketable. It’s a chunky beast but is easily thrown in a backpack.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis battery and charger are fantastic, the charger and the battery can charge any electric devices you may have ( as long as you have the right cable). Why it’s so expensive? It’s because of you able to use the
Beauty speed charge of USB c, which is different from a regular USB charger. The USB c can charge my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, my work HP Probook, my iPhone and Bose headphone quick . I never knew I could charge my iPad Pro or iPhone X with this speed. If you don’t want to compromise charging your devices with speed, this battery and charger for you!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love Anker products, and every item I’ve bought or tried have been exceptional quality and always deliver excellent performance. This Power bank and charger are no exception and it can even charge your laptop with its high output. It comes in a nicely packaged and presented box as usual and along with the power bank, you get a rapid-charge wall charger, 1.5m USB C to USB C cable, mesh pouch, and the instructions.

The power bank has a huge capacity of 26,800mAh but charging it using the rapid charger is very fast and it took roughly 3 hours to charge it from 20% to full capacity. It’s got a button on the top with 10 small LED’s which light up to indicate the battery status. They do a nice animation when its charging which looks pretty cool. It’s charged my Galaxy S10+ to full capacity three times now and its still showing five LED’s, I’m well impressed. There is also a trickle charge mode which you can activate by holding down the button till the LED’s turn green that can charge smaller devices in a more optimised way.

The quality of both the charger and power bank are very high. The finishing of the metal case on the power bank is excellent and even the USB sockets looks durable and built to last. It might be a bit bigger or heavier than cheaper brands, but I prefer the higher quality and performance and you feel like its worth the money with this. The UK mains charger is nicely designed and features a small ring that lights up blue when powered on and charging and the mesh bag to protect the power bank is as good quality as it can be and stows away easily compared with a box when not in use.

Overall, I think this bundle from Anker is superb and its such a great bit of kit if you travel a lot or need some power when your away from a mains socket. With its PowerIQ3 technology and fast charge capability, the performance and power output of 45w from the USB C port and 15w from the two USB A means it’s can charge a huge variety of battery powered devices at high speeds. As a bundle I think it represents good value and definitely a case of you get what you pay for with this being on the higher side for price but with a quality to match it. I’m very happy to recommend yet another great product from Anker and it gets the full five stars from me!

    Premium bundle with excellent performance!

So far so good. Have used it to charge iPads including pro and iPhone 8. Charged unit a couple of times, seems quick to change from say 10% to full. Doesn’t seem to want to charge smaller rechargeable batteries via usb, (possibly due to higher amp output) but using usb c okay for iPad & iPhone. Bit heavy, but plan not to be carrying it to often or too far.

Anker is a brand I’ve become quite accustomed to over the years with their chargers, and various phone-related products like cables. My first ever power bank was an Anker and it still works, albeit without the vigorous charge it had when new.

So here we have a really quite expensive bundle of Anker products – the power supply that you plug into your mains socket, a USB C cable, and the power bank itself.

The power bank is one of the heaviest I’ve ever held, weighing a whopping 592 grams. It feels lovely in your hand – I suspect it’s wrapped in aluminium as it feels cold to the touch. It’s largely featureless with a black finish which feels quite durable. There’s a single button on the face of the device and this has an LED display that shows you the charge status of the device by how many LEDs are lit in a circle. At the end are three USB sockets, two USB A and one USB C. So not a micro-USB in sight, you’ll need a suitable cable if you want to charge an old Android phone or a Lightning cable if it’s an iPhone. Not really a hardship.

26800 mAh is fairly typical of power banks, most of which weigh a load less than this PowerCore+, but the main feature of this one is its ability to do Power Delivery which means it’ll charge your Macbook Pro.

Surprisingly, the wall charger that’s supplied is powerful enough to recharge the battery in 3.5 hours which makes this combination a winning solution if you’re out and about a lot and can’t rely on being able to access a mains plug.

So, heavy and expensive, but hugely powerful and fast to recharge. Maybe if you find it discounted and you are a Macbook Pro user who needs lots of power you’ll find this to be a great solution. For a normal phone user who’s looking for a power bank, the cost and weight probably rule it out of contention.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersSo far so good!
I am using a TC66 USB-C multimeter (TC66-C actually) to verify the charge speed and effective capacity. All very promising. I will keep an eye on the slow discharge issues mentioned in other reviews.
The supplied little 60W charger happily pushes 40W into the battery pack at 20V (2A). A full charge takes between 3-4 hours (as checked / measured with the TC66).
I use the battery pack primarily for my Surface Pro 3 (15V charge at 30-35W via a USB-C adapter, so not the 45W charge which the battery is capable of, but that’s a limitation of this Surface model, not the battery’s fault)

    Quality kit!
