I bought this for my MacBook Pro because I wanted an Ethernet connection as well as HDMI and DisplayPort. Bonus that is has both SD and microSD slots.

I also love that it has another USB-C (3.0) port, so however many USB-C ports your computer has, the hub doesn’t take one of them up.

I have tried a few cheaper ones before shelling out for this and, well, you get what you pay for. This one is quality and I highly recommend it.

I got this just to be able to connect my MacBook using ethernet. However I like how I can expand my connections using this. Anker quality is really showing. Nice!

I have a 34″ Ultrawide 3440×1440 165Hz monitor and I was trying to find a dongle that supports high refresh rates because I was using a docking station that takes up a lot of space on my desk, I decided to try this one, is perfect, on Windows, it works perfectly at 165Hz and Mac goes up to 144Hz, that’s perfect for me, giving it 5 stars.

Does every think I need, as I said in the headline, I will always look for Anker products first, so I have quite a few different devices I have never been disappointed. This one does not need to be portable, so it slightly bigger size is not an issue.

This hub is compact and adds some serious expansion to my chromebook. The only issue I found was some spotty HDMI output to a television. I got by that using the casting functionality of the chromebook.
Build quality is good and it even came with a soft carry back to protect the hub from scratches and wear.

This product does the job very well for connecting peripherals and monitor to my laptop, however I have noticed that it will drain the laptop battery if it’s left connected when the laptop is powered off.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is the second one of these to have a port fail. This one the HDMI port no longer functions. Device is only 8 months old. When it was working it was great.

Update 4/27/23 Anker quickly responded and sent me a replacement as the hub was under warranty. I have raised rating to 4 stars because of customer service. Things break but the real sign of a company is how they handle problems. Anker handled as a good company should.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ daily for both work and school. This dock is an amazing addition to the tablet, especially when using Dex. However, the one disapointment I have is that this dock doesn’t seem to support the full charging speeds capable of this device. The S7+ can do 45W super-fast charging (Samsung terminology, not mine) which dynamically adjusts between 5 and 9v which this dock doesn’t seem to support. While this isn’t normally an issue, you can tell the difference when running multiple peripherals like display out, mouse, keyboard, music, etc. The charging speed slows to more of a trickle rather than the regular charging rate. It DOES charge the tablet so obviously it’s not a major issue, just a small annoyance. The usefulness of this dock far exceeds the minor setback of charging speed though to where I will gladly continue to use it.

Great little deck – replaced an off-brand knock-off that stopped working after 3 months. Didn’t see the need to go full CalDigit at x3-5 the price of this Anker as a replacement.

One caveat – you can use either the DP **or** the HDMI port on an (intel) mac, but not both at the same time. No idea if it’s the same on apple silicon, but i would assume so given the general Thunderbolt multi-display limitations.

Bought this for the steam deck and it works great, but refuses to work on 2 other laptops which work fine with another dock.
Price is a bit steep for the number of ports, but Anker isn’t the new kid it once was and is starting to define prices rather than undercut competitors.

Bought to replace a Rocketec unit which was not very good. But this seems to do the trick.

Runs very cool, seems to prefer using both USB-C sockets one for power, one for comms which isn’t ideal.

Been using this hub with a 2020 M1 MBA, a 2×2 audio recording interface, external monitor via HDMI, and a few other USB A items. Works just fine. Gets warm, but not hot (so far) and seems to be doing what I expect it to. I’m running a Baseus 100-watt charger into the USB-C power delivery port. No problems. I purchased this as an ‘open box’ item, and it arrived as-new.

I ordered 2 of these devices so I could create docking stations in 2 places. I hooked up a monitor, keyboard, mouse, high power Anker charger and various other things. Now I just move the laptop from place to place, plug in a single USB C and I’m ready to go. The devices are working flawlessly. Picture and sound quality is very good and all peripherals are doing what they are supposed to do.

Finally something that works! The Dell adaptor that came with my XPS 15 works great, but I needed a second display out and a second USB port. I tried several other hubs that either arrived DOA or refused to output the correct display resolution (3840 x 1600 ultrawide).

I saw this hub recommended on a YouTube review, so I decided to try it out since I’ve had good luck with Anker products in the past. Thankfully it works perfectly so far. I’ve got my USB KVM switch with 4 ports connected, my USB powered speakers connected, power adapter for PD, and and the monitor displaying 3840×1600 at 75 Hz over HDMI 2.0. My plan is to add a second display once Asus releases their pen & touch ProArt displays. I didn’t really need the ethernet, headphone, or SD card readers but they’re just bonuses.

This is a superb piece of kit, expanding my Dell laptop’s rather limited selection of ports. My Dell is an Inspiron with 2 USB C ports for both power and connectivity and only 1 USB A male port for everything else. I needed to expand this but didn’t want anything too heavy or unwieldy. This little beast does the job perfectly. It has ports for every connection you could want and more, including Gigabit Ethernet, 4 USB 3 A male ports, audio and an SD card reader with Micro and Mini SD card slots as well as HDMI which I will not use and have not tested. I’ve connected my keyboard, a headset and game controller to this without fuss and expect a portable hard drive to behave with no problems. Only thing is, I had to buy a higher wattage power adapter as the 65W adapter supplied with my Dell machine would not power both dock and laptop without compromising on the speed of charging. Also, my system would not boot up with anything less than the full 65W power demand, so beware, you’ll have to buy an adapter if you plan to use this which is a separate cost. All in all though, a great little dock and from a brand I’ve used time and again and in whom I trust absolutely. Keep up the good work Anker.

I purchased this USB-C hub to replace one from another firm purchased earlier. The old unit was hard to reliably connect to my 2020 MacBook Air without a lot of fiddling. The new Anker one “just works” (the best endorsement I can give). I operate an external disk and a USB 3 expansion hub from the Anker one to take a keyboard and mouse. All works well.

I used my LG monitor as a hub until the USB-C port died. Rather than buying a new monitor, I bought this little hub and have been happy with it so far. I took advantage of the display port to get a crisper picture. The hub does get a little hot but that is to be expected. Very convenient to have only was cable to plug to the laptop rather than 3-4 each time.

I have two laptop PCs that I need to be able to switch between a few times a day. This unit allowed me to make the switch using a simple USB-C plug-and-play interface. I have my widescreen monitor, 3.5mm earbuds, ethernet cable, and all peripherals connected, including a wireless keyboard and mouse that has no lag time whatsoever.

My only complaint is that the 4-sided plug-ins on the unit make it awkward to position on my desk. It doesn’t really sit flat so I have it floating behind my laptops. Also, the USB-C connection cable is very short (6″), which contributes to the awkwardness. It should be about 12″ long.

Overall 4.5*, but rounding to 5* since functionally it is flawless.

I recently bought this UCB-C HUB from Amazon to get more UCB ports. I also planned to use the HDMI port of the HUB to connect one monitor, and then use the DisplayPort of the HUB to connect my 2nd monitor with a DisplayPort to HDMI cable (Amazon Basics) I bought from Amazon. After I received this HUB product and verified, the HDMI port and USB ports on the HUB worked very well, however the DisplayPort on the HUB did not work. I tried one Dell Inspiron laptop and one HP Elitebook laptop, both could not detect the 2nd monitor through the DisplayPort on the HUB. Also, I tried another new DisplayPort to HDMI cable and the issue was same. Finally, I had to only use the HDMI port on the HUB to connect one monitor and another HDMI to HDMI cable to directly connect my 2nd monitor to the laptop, this solution was not convenient as expected but it worked.
I gave 5 stars because the technical support from Anker was very nice, he actively called me and tried to solve the problem for me. Also, the customer service from Amazon was great and their shipping was very fast beyond my expectation.
By the way, this USB-C HUB is small and looks very nice.

I got 60 fps to my TV from it from a surface pro studio laptop. I didnt get HDR to work but I had so much trouble getting 60 fps, that HDR is just a future possiblilty, though i do miss having it on films, but im using this for projector 4K TV as a laptop pc monitor now i have a keyboard and mouse on the hub. I bought the simple usbC to HDMI from MICROSOFT that cost 99$ and only got 30 FPS, advertised HDR 60 fps. its useless . (i assumed they tested it with their own product, which is a high end 2500 laptop with 2 usb ports. My mechanical keyboard didnt work at first it was recognized as a sound device. triied every driver, no luck So i bought a Samsung high speed changing usbC to big usb, just one last thing to try. And it worked!!!! be CAREFUL with this stuff.. dont ASSUME ANYTYHING IS gonna work. try different cables and the best wires too. for a PC you need at leat 60 fps . For mouse u no more lag thant 40 ms or Game mode or it will stutter unusably. This hub gets hot though. but it works and its fast and got great value for cost and good reviews on youtube as well. Im giving 5 stars because HDR is a mess and i cant expect everything to work, it might be microsoft laptotp partial support for it.

I received this hub today. I bought it to share charger, Ethernet, LG monitor, Logitech’s keyboard, mouse and headset connected via Unifying dongle, between different machines I am using at home.

Here’s my first impression after a few hours of use.

    1. Normally, unifying dongle struggles in USB3 ports due to radio interference. The fact that this hub has two USB2 ports was important criteria for me. I have to say so far I had no major issues with mouse, keyboard, or the headset. Maybe the mouse is a bit jumpy upon connection of the hub to the computer, but it goes away quite quickly.

    2. Ethernet works well at advertised 1Gbps.

    3. HDMI port, works as advertised 4k@60Hz. But after 15 minutes of use screen went blank multiple times when connected to Lenovo T14 laptop. This is so far the only reason why I rate this device with 4 stars.

    4. DisplayPort, works as advertised 4k@60Hz. I did not experience behavior similar to the one when connected via HDMI.

    5. Using with Lenovo T14. All components connected to the computer via this hub worked flawlessly, with the exception of HDMI signal issue described in point 3.

    6. Using with HP elitebook 840 G3. This laptop does not charge or send video signal via its only USB-C port. But it did recognize Unifying dongle and Ethernet. As this laptop has only VGA and DisplayPort, due to issue with the HDMI port on the hub, I am somewhat forced to buy an DP -> HDMI converter if I want to connect it to external monitor. A few Euros I would prefer to keep in my pocket after spending a 100 on this hub.

    7. Using with 2018 iPad Pro 11″. Works at 4K@60Hz (of course with iPad’s black bars on the sides). The goal is to have large screen connected when using Lightroom Mobile and Lumafusion.

    8. I am hoping this hub will work with M1 Mac I am planning to buy in a few months. Other reviewers say it does.

    9. I did not have a chance yet to copy large sets of data via its USB ports.

    EDIT 31.05.2022
Today I noticed that Display Port connection I’ve been using so far started working at 4k@30Hz only. I switched to HDMI, it runs at 4k@60Hz without issues I described in #3. (baffled)

This dock is good for expanding ports for laptops such as thr Microsoft Surface Pro. It allows for essy use of an additional monitor and several expansion slors for USB devices, such as a peinter, external hard drive and the like. The largest draw back is the the connection cord is so short. This results in the dock being in the way, especially I’d it has anything plugged in on the side facing the user. The user is are unable to place it behind or really anywhere that would not be in the way. Had the cord been closer 18 inches, it would allow for placing the dock out of the way and not interfering.

This came recommended as the best value-for-money hub of this class. I can say it performs very well in almost all aspects – charging, 1440p@100Hz, speed.
Major downside is the audio quality – lots of interference, audible pops and crackles at all times. I was considering a USB sound card, but this will expedite the process.

    – nice looking
    – unlike similar products, this has an extra USB-C port in addition to the USB-C power input
    – single connection to connect to charger, external display and USB peripherals

    Cons:
    – it blocks DCC signals on the DisplayPort which means brightness of the external monitor cannot be controlled from the Mac (I ended up returning and replacing with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable which allows brightness control)
    – the USB-C port is just that – my Thunderbolt 3 specific peripheral didn’t work

As always, anker has made a great product with good build quality. Everything works as expected, with one small exception, my laptop now warns me that it is charging slowly despite using the same power adapter. I’m guessing this is because the laptop came with a 65w charger and it can probably be fixed by getting a 100w charger. I haven’t tested the actual charging speed though. Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersThe Anker PowerExpand 11-in-1 USB C Hub works well with my MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 version. I love that the Anker doesn’t get too warm like my older USB-C hub from a different manufacturer did. However, one feature that I had hoped for was to use the HDMI and DisplayPort to power two monitors. When you plug in both monitors, only one of the monitors is recognised by the operating system, and the Anker outputs the same signal to both monitors. There is no option to expand the desktop and display different applications on each monitor. To use both of my monitors to display different applications, I can only plug one of them into the Anker, and the other one directly into my MacBook Pro. I have given the product 5 stars, since this limitation is described in the product description, so it is my fault for buying a product that is not suitable to my use case.

A nice and convenient hub for my Mac book pro. It has a total of 4 USB-C slots and that’s not sufficient for the devices I connect to it. This hub allows me to connect all accessories of my office setup (a monitor, wireless keyboard & mouse, power adapter and a usb device) while occupying just one USB-C slot. One minor nit pick is that the length of USB-C cable in this hub is short and is not sufficient to seat the hub comfortably on a table, when using laptop stands. Would definitely recommend it.

Due to having a cover on my MacBook, I had to use this solution to get more ports for my MacBook Air M1. All works as expected

    Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I was unlucky and purchased a defective unit which had to be returned. However, the process of getting a replacement couldn’t have been easier and the customer service was absolutely brilliant. Sylvia from the Anker support team was so helpful and prompt in her communications and reassured me that the issue would be resolved asap. I had a new, fully operational unit within a few days of communicating the problem – and it’s a good product. So straightforward in a world where these issues can often be time consuming and lengthy. Thank you!

Having had massive problems with packet storms caused by other makes while the host sleeps, I turned to Anker – a brand I have always found to provide excellent products at the right price point. This hub, while not as neat-looking as some competitors, performs perfectly. It has the right balance of features and size, and is at a keen price point. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

The AH has 2 Female USB-C Ports + 1 Male USB-C Plug on a Short Lead.
    1. Plug the Short Lead into the PD USB-C Port, nearest to Left Hinge Corner, of the MacBook Pro M1.
    2. Plug the Power Supply USB-C Plug into the AH PD USB-C Port.
    3. This leaves 1 vacant USB-C Port on the MacBook and 1 vacant USB-C Port on the AH.
    4. A Large Screen can be attached by either HDMI or DisplayPort.
    5. Cards can be read by the dual slot Card Reader.

In my case the vacant 2 vacant USB-C Ports are used for connecting 2 Crucial X8 2TB SSDs, one for Time Machine and the other for DATA BackUp.
The 3 USB ports are usually connected to:- DVD Drive; Unifying Receiver-Logitech MX Ergo wireless Trackball; PowerBreathe/Lung Exerciser.
Apart from one minor glitch everything, mentioned above, functions as expected without conflicts.

My first attempt at expanding the MacBook Pro M1 Ports resulted in:
    A. Conflict between Logitech Trackball and the Crucial SSDs, the Cursor used to become jerky and ultimately freeze when the SSDs were connected via USB.
    B. MacBook M1 Screen Brightness Controls disappeared from System Preferences > Display > Display Tab and Control Centre. In the latter the Control Slider Handle disappeared, with the AH only the Control Centre problem remains.

I am very pleased to have found this Port Expansion GEM, and do not hesitate to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersDevices attached: Anker PowerPort Atom PD4 (for power), 1080p display @60GHz, 1080p webcam, Elgato Stream Deck, Logitech Unifying Receiver, and a Thunderbolt HDD.

I don’t consider myself a heavy user of the device but I own a lot of Anker products and have never had any problems. This is a necessity for my M1 MBP since there are only 2 Thunderbolt ports on the laptop. I like the number of ports on this compact hub and I use it as a docking station for WFH. It does get pretty warm, but I don’t think there is too much of an issue (there is no damage on my plastic-coated desk). It also comes in nice recyclable packaging and a travel pouch that I will probably misplace one day.

been using the 11in1, very stable and solid. Using it in a 2-screen set up.
What I didn’t like is that there is too much plastics in the packaging.
