Raymond E. DEWALT followed in his father’s steps, and worked in plants and construction after leaving school. In all fields of work he encountered the issue of high labour costs. To help reduce these costs, whenever possible he installed a machine to handle specific needs.
One fine day, M. DEWALT was hired to head a wood mill, manufacturing numerous products, from basic boxes to complete houses. The amount of work exceeded the company’s capacity by far, but its owner could not afford to increase the headcount. The only solution was to ensure his men produced more work. M. DEWALT built a yoke, which he connected directly to a motor and a saw. He then fitted it onto a standard arm. The saw could be raised, lowered, moved forward and backward, and adapted to all types of angles. With this system, he could handle the same amount of work as four men, reducing labor costs beyond his wildest imagination.

Super Gerte. Haben am Wochenende einen Carport aufgestellt. Fr den Schlagschrauber waren 50 cm lange Holzschrauben kein Problem. Mein Schreiner war ganz begeistert. Akku hlt ewig. 250 Schrauben und immer noch halb voll. Absolut Top.

Was expecting these to arrive on the 20th… but they arrived 17th so great service.
Contence checked after reading some reviews and 1) charger had an English plug and 2) the chuck was not wobbly… so around I’ll take this as a result. Not had chance to use them yet but no reason to believe they wont be top notch like all my other Dewalt kit.

I have fallen in love with my Dewalt twin set with case, as stated in previous reviews mine had the correct case, and the correct UK plug.
The issue I had was a wobbly chuck, which I understand is an issue with Dewalt. However this is all covered under the warranty and Dewalt express repairers pick up and drop back using UPS company, great after sales
Shame on the Dewalt price tag, but when the drill is stood next to my old cordless drill it’s quite small and much more powerful.
