If you’re going to get a standing desk, it’s a good idea not to cheap out on it. This one has the ability to remember ideal elevations and even has detection for resistance differentials if for example raising the desk may break something, the extra resistance will cause it to stop.

It wasn’t cheap, but I regret nothing. I feel better every day for using it.

Assembly was a bit tough with the dinky Black & Decker drill I have, but with a proper one, you won’t have any problems.

Easy to assemble and quiet operation. Main advantage is the flexibility to use any worktop

I have agonised over forking out for a standing desk for a long time but finally bit the bullet.

I ordered the base and then got a gorgeous table top from Etsy that was the exact measurement I wanted (Penny Wood) as I didn’t like their tops and the IKEA ones recommended were quite pricey.

It was easy to put together. The top I got is pine so I didn’t even need to drill holes.

It’s easy to program and I am delighted with it.

    Great bit of ki

I left doing a reveiw until I had used this for a while. I bought it to go with a 5ft chunk of marble effect kitchen worksurface that I acquired for a local wood charity. Togther they form a better work desk for me than the old 4ft wide Ikea desk I was using before. I bought it through the Amazon Wharehouse – got a few quid off and there were a couple of tiny scratches in places you can’t see as clearly someone tried to build it up before. However it was equally clear they hadn’t followed the instructions as it arrived with some of the bolts in the wrong holes. Mechanism has worked well to date and I find standing up very good – get to move around and I usually do one to two sessions of standing a day.

Awesome study table that is quiet and doesn’t wobble.
I’m 6’6″ and can comfortable stand with it. The 3 buttons for storing 3 positions is great. I have one low, one high and one so I sit but reach up to it a bit while seated. Stops me slouching and makes photo editing more comfy.

Lost stars as I got this 5 days or so before black Friday as I didn’t want it to be out of stock for when I needed it. So black Friday comes And I haven’t put it together yet and I see amazon now offer me a 75 voucher off this product. I’m fuming and was going to send it back, and buy again for that price difference, but I thought, no, I’ll drop them a nice message stating my issue and expected them to refund the difference to save All the messing about. They just didn’t reply or acknowledge the message.
I am now worried that I might get blanked if a tech issue or fault developed.

I should add this discount was offered on the suppliers website too. Phone number was useless.

It is a great product, so a shame about the lack of customer service. It be singing it’s praises and giving it rave reviews to others.

Shame though, if they’d replied to me my friends company just ordered 30 of these type of desks from another supplier based on them not responding to me. Like me they were concerned about after sales care. He was responsible for buying them. Their loss!! I believe they might order another 20 if/ when lockdown measures are reduced.

This unit was stronger and better than expected. Was able to take a 8×5 tabletop no problem. Went with 6 x 3 and sturdy and smooth up/down motion. Better than I expected product as was comparing it to my workplace one which was 3-4 times dearer.

First off, be aware this doesn’t come with a table top! I knew this and the top in the image is one that I made myself from some discarded scaffolding boards…if you’re not into DIY then you will have to look around for a table top for this.

    Assembly:
Pretty straight forward, no real big issue to be fair. The main computing box did not fit in the middle of the framework like the plans suggested…tried multiple ways and it wouldn’t work. Ultimately I screwed this to the table directly just to the side of the main centre bars.

    Function:
This thing is really smooth. Saving a height position is also really easy. My only small gripe is that sometimes the table will think something is blocking its way and will stop the motion and reset. Sometimes a little shake of the table or a manual reset fixes it…small thing for an otherwise pleasant experience.

    Good value electronic standing desk.

It was straightforward to assemble, got a kitchen worktop from Ikea as a top, which we had to drill through but when screwed to base worked like a charm. Very good flexibility for distance of the legs. The only downside is that it wobbles a touch, a bit more on higher settings. Nothing concerning, and all the screws are quite tightly in and it overall feels quite stable.
My back and neck are thanking me for the purchase, I can strongly recommend it especially if you are working from home.

I purchased this desk direct from the manufacturer as it seemed to offer better value than others on the market. I have used it for a week and am really pleased so far.

It was easy to assemble with just a screwdriver and the parts supplied. Only challenge, as one other reviewer has mentioned, was that the electrics box was too wide to attach to the desktop in the space between the legs as I went for a 120cm wide desktop. I left it resting in the cable tidy instead which works fine.

The motor works very well and is smooth and quiet.

The desk is sturdy at standing height for all my needs. There is a slight wobble when extended but it’s barely noticeable.

Delivery was prompt and all communication with the seller has been excellent.

    Would highly recommend.

I’m rarely moved to write product reviews but after looking at a range of standing desks from Ikea, department stores and other furniture companies I came across this product. Too be honest it looked a bit too good to be true but taking comfort from the other reviews I went ahead and ordered. It arrived within a few days – just ahead of the projected delivery slot. I had just enough time for an exciting lock down evening trip out to Ikea to pick up a cheap but attractive bamboo desktop. Assembly of the frame and adding the desktop was straight forward and i’m blown away by the end result. The motor is virtually silent. The raising/lowering action is smooth. Build quality seems to be very high. The 3 position memory setting are very helpful and the sensitive, fine tuning of the height to the nearest mm was unexpected. Even better, after using it for a couple of days i think my body really appreciates the opportunity to change posture. aches and pains are decreasing and I find it easier to stay engaged in VC meetings when standing up rather than sitting down. All round, I’m a very happy customer. You could buy a standing desk for 1300 from a leading department store, or you could get the same thing, with a tailored bespoke desktop of your choosing, for a quarter of the price here. No brainer.

So pleased with this table. Cannot fault it. Love the sturdiness and the remote works like a dream with memory control. Perfect to sit at while using the computer and so comfortable and practical when using it for arts and crafts, especially when working with something intrinsic; all at eye level.
It is easy to assemble and it’s effortless using an electric screwdriver. I would point out however, to take into consideration any wall shelves or wall lamps etc are not interfered with when the table is rising.
I would definitely recommend this table!

It’s a fantastic product, very easy to use and looks just great. My only advice would be to improve the assembly instructions. I bought one table top from IKEA and I had to read and review other peoples experiences to understand where to attach the tabletop.

I’m refereeing to the measures, how much space from the legs until the end of table etc.

my table top have 155cm and I left 15 CM each side. had to measure multiple times on all side to make sure it would be centred.

If in the instructions you could mention best practises’ a guide to different table tops sizes etc would be a great help.

overall though, very, very happy with the product. just didn’t give 5 stars because of the fact the the instructions could be better.

Does what you’d expect from a standing desk and was fairly easy to assemble. Construction seems sturdy, though there is some unavoidable wobble at maximum height, but nothing drastic. Overall very pleased with the look and function of the desk.

Waited a few months before writing a review to see how the desk performed. I’d had my eye on a height adjustable desk for a while, before homeworking as a result of COVID finally made it seem a worthwhile investment. Really pleased with this product: pretty stable even when close to full height with straightforward and smooth height adjustment. You can preset up to three different preferred heights and the collision avoidance system stops you accidentally lowering/raising the desk into an obstacle (easier to do than you might think). If you’re looking for a reasonably priced adjustable desk, look no further. I opted for a Flexispot desktop too which made assembly slightly easier as some of the holes in the desktop were predrilled to fit this frame. Allow approx 1.5-2 hours for assembly from box to ready to use.

I ordered this on Monday and it arrived on the Thursday, a super fast delivery! It was really very easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s a heavy package so the trickiest thing was carrying it upstairs to my office! (tip: get someone to help!) The desk works brilliantly and I can honestly say it has transformed my working from home experience. It’s quiet in operation and really quick and smooth in getting to the height settings you want (easy to save to pre sets). looks great too can’t recommend highly enough!

This is as good as the expensive ones in engineering at the office. Really easy to add your own desk top to this very high quality frame. It’s heavy, so get help if you have a back issue.
Using it however will resolve any of your posture issues due to siting in your home office chair too long every day. It will even change height automatically if you want to to!

I’ve had this frame for 2 months now and am very pleased so far. You get all the features of more expensive models but with the freedom to put your own top on it. Delivery was quick and assembly mostly straightforward.

Lost a star because there was a bolt missing (but i happened to have a matching one at home). I have no doubt that if i’d contacted FlexiSpot they would have sent the missing bolt. Also you cannot mount the control unit as described in the instructions, (screwed to the top), unless you use a wide frame setup. Instead I just left it free floating in the rails. This doesn’t affect performance however.

All in all, this is excellent value for money.

Easy to assemble, took about 45mins being careful. Raises and lowers quickly and quietly. At the highest setting there’s some slight movement in the desk but no more than expected. Still feels perfectly stable for normal computer use.
Be aware that if you fit a 50cm desk top it will not be able to sit flush against a wall as the feet are ~60cm long.

Arrived much earlier than expected, well packed. I took photos of the packing as I took the parts out of the box, just in case I needed to return it, but I needn’t have worried. The parts are heavy because they are very sturdy. Well finished, no sharp edges. Took a while to assemble, but no problems following the instructions. The finished desk (my own top) is very sturdy and no problems with wobble at the height I use. However, at the very highest setting it does wobble a bit, not likely to be a problem unless you are 7 foot tall. Operation is very smooth and quiet, it travels quickly and starts/stops gently. Much much better that the Kinnarps standing desk I have at work.

I bought this sit / standing desk frame for my office and I have to say it is the best piece of equipment I have bought for the office.
Working from home for such a long time now that I was getting aches and pains in my joints due to lack of movement. This allows me to stand at my desk and move a little which makes a big difference to my health.

The frame is easy to set up and the instructions are clear. When being built, the unit can contract or expand quite widely to fit your room or desk top.
One warning – it is HEAVY! The delivery driver couldn’t believe the weight of the package and it took two of us to lift it upstairs to our office.

Once set up I put my own desk top on it and it is very sturdy and stable, even while standing. I haven’t screwed the desk top on yet as I am about to dismantle to redecorate however it is still super stable.

The motor is extremely quiet when moving up or down and you can set three positions in memory so you can sit or stand at the push of a button. There is also an alarm that will beep when you have been sitting for too long (set to off as default).
The control panel has three memory buttons, alarm button and two buttons to move the desk up or down to your exact specification. There is a digital readout of the desk height.
The collision avoidance is very good too and you are able to set the sensitivity as low / medium / high.

I would highly recommend this both as a high quality product and an easy to build and use piece of office equipment.

I’ve been using the desk for close to a month and I’m very pleased with it. It took me about 40 min to get everything setup and I didn’t experience a single problem with it since. The motors are very quiet, the construction is very sturdy and it just works. I can’t now imagine going to the old desk. The only criticism is the cable management which could be better but this is a minor issue in otherwise a very good desk.
On a separate note the seller was very helpful, UPS delayed the shipping and the seller was very responsive to emails, helpful and in the end personally delivered the desk when UPS appeared to have lost the parcel.

Very happy with the desk frame, have been using desk for a week now and really enjoying it, I went for the widest possible worktop 1.8m. Frame is heavy and sturdy, was easy to assemble, it has two motors (they are quite, making light humming noise ) and controller with configurable position buttons and a timer button which I find very useful, using it to remind myself to take a break 🙂 All the cables are hidden nicely underneath the desk using provided cable guard panel.
Also I like that the desk foot is slim and sloping down towards the floor. One of the old office desks that I have has a massive square shaped desk foot which I’m periodically bumping in to… The new desk is way more stylish, would definitely recommend!

I bought the beautiful curved top from the same brand and overall the table is amazing. Sturdy, good quality everywhere, sleek. Just prepare to spend a couple of hours to assemble it but instructions are very clear. Also its sound is low enough that it would never be heard by someone in another room. I am now spending most of my time standing, no more slouching or stooping!

    Extremely good quality product!

I spent a lot of time looking at e-desks before buying but eventually plumped for this one.
It goes up higher than some has a higher weight limit which allows me to be able to change my working height and lean on it for different tasks during my day.
It took a little while to build and the package itself is quite heavy. The instructions are pretty comprehensive but easy to follow.
I have a 1000mm (1m) deep x 1700mm wide desk top on it and two dual screens bolted through the top on a riser. I have it on deep carpet with good underlay and its pretty sturdy. It may help that I have it on a corner but even at full height its more sturdy and stable than you may think.
It goes up and down quietly and the controls are pretty simple to use. It does take two or three presses to make it actuate but I understand this is normal.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really love this desk. As a person with longer legs the standing desk not only provides the simple pleasure of being able to sit with my legs comfortably under the desk, but also allowing the flexibility of being able change from seated to a standing position throughout the day. When utilised, the inbuilt alarm can be set to ensure you move between positions. Indeed as someone who work from home all these points are a must.

The kit is really easy to set up, and I felt confident enough to assemble right up to the step prior to the use of power tools to attach the stand to the desktop.

Since I opted for an IKEA Hilver Bamboo desktop (1400mm x 600mm) it meant drilling new holes to the underside of the bamboo. As someone not particularly confident with drills I asked by brother to attach both the LED adjustment unit to the desktop and desktop to the stand. All in all assembly took around 45 mins to an hour.

Cable management for powering the desk is handled well with the use of 3M cable ties. I also purchased a IKEA Idebo and a seperate plastic set to manage the cables for the standing desk, two monitors, and Surface Pro desktop dock. I’ve since purchased 3M Velcro picture mounting strips to affix the Surface Pro desktop dock to the underside of the bamboo decktop maintaining a more wire free, minimal aesthetic.

When combined with a smart plug on the extension cable I can turn all the electrical items on with a single voice command.

The LED readout control unit is really easy to read and the keys are simple to use. Owners of Flexispot standing desk kit are able to use memory option to save three different heights. The daul motor effortlessly elevate or lower the desk and is not particularly noisy. (See video).

If you’re spending increased time working from home I’d encourage you to seriously consider investing in one of these kits. It’s an affordable option and is certainly money well spent.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFirst of all, I want to say this product is amazing. I’ve used extreemely expensive standing desks at work and seen them in Ikea for a lot so I always thought this kind of product would be out of my reach; so I was skeptical when I saw this range at such a low cost. I opted for a frame-only version as I already had a desk which I wanted to re-use, to keep costs down.

    Assembly
    =========
I think about 8 different parts needed assembling and taking my time on my own (between other jobs) it took me about an hour. It’s a 1-person job if you’re confident but 2 people would be much more comfortable. 2 Allen keys are supplied with the required bolts and scresn for desktop fitting (not included in the product I purchased). The extendable facility is easy to understand and the instructions are really clear (except the 1st step where you have to ‘extract’ 2 pieces from each other, this confused me slighly as I thought I had some missing “read tyhe question carefully”).
The parts are quite heavy, particularly the legs, so you certainly can’t rush it and I’d definitely reccomend placing a towel or sheet down to protect any laminate floor.

    Desktop fitting
    ================
I already had 2 ikea Linmmon desks (120cmx60cm) with legs so didn’t want to buy a new desktop – I thought I’d try and recycle one of the existing ones. The product here expects desktops to be SOLID which the Ikea desks are not – they have solid wood at the corners for the legs but are hollow elsewhere, so I wasn’t sure it there would be enough material to screw into.
Good news – my 120×60 Ikea desktop fits PERFECTLY and screws in very securely. Even though it’s a year or so old it somehow feels much newer now!

    Cable management
    ================
Obviously you need to have power, peripheral, etc. cables long enough to reach the items on the desk when it’s fully extended. I approached this by adding the monitors and laptop to the desk, raising it to the max height then cabling them in. I also tried to minimise the number of cables running to the floor-level by tucking a 4-way adapter into the rail under the desk where the contreoller box goes. This works ok but need more tidying. I will definitely be investing in a cable-tray which fits to the underside of my desktop.

Other than the tray to house the control box, there is no cable management included.

    Control Box and Extension
    ==========================
The extender legs have screwn holes to attach to the bottom of the desk, but I didn’t use them as the end-desk connections are really strong. Unfortunately, because my desktop isonly 120cm, the extension bars don’t leave enough room for the control box to fit neatly in the gap – I had to just rest it upside down and then hold it in place with the cover; this works fine but obviously if I take the cover off the box will need to be supported – not a major issue but you will save some time if you’re prepared to accommodate this.

    Operation
    ==========
As others have stated, it’s not silent but the noise is by no means annoying or intrusive, especially given that I’ll be raising/lowering it only a handful of times a day. The motors are really solid and smooth and the desk is beautifully stable; it really is a joy to use. I can lean on it with one arm if needed and I have confidence placying objects on it without balancing them out.
The legs have adjustable feet for uneven surfaces and are suitable for use on hardwood/laminate, they’re nice soft plastic.

The control panel has 3 presets which work really nicely – 1 press and the desk goes to that hight – no press and hold so you can finish work, press the ‘normal’ sitting height setting (I saved as 1) and walk away letting the desk lower itself into position. It says that it has collision detection in case the desk will lower onto another object, but I haven’t tested/seen this in action.
It also has an alaarm function (The A button) which allows you to se a timer from 01 to 99 minutes which will remind you to change posture. I don’t know if I’d use this but it’s nice to have. It took me 5minutes to figure out how to disable the alarm (press-and-hold – thank you ROM knowldge from age 15!) and I don’t think I’ll use it again as it’s pretty loud and invasive.

    Overall
    =======
Love this product, I can already feel that I’m going to get loads of value from it and the psychology of working while standing is so different from sitting it’s certainly enhanced my approach to work. If you are slightly DIY minded and spend a LOT of time at your desk, I’d thoroughly recommend this. The fact that you can simply replace the desktop as your size/style/functional requirements change is the icing on the cake.

Really stable, easy to assemble, value for money (used own desktop)

As I opened the packaging, I could tell straight away that this was a very nicely made item. All the parts are nicely put together and coated so a real quality product. It’s very simple to put together also, with clear instructions and all the fixings supplied to secure the top. I did have to pre-drill my hardwood top to fix it to the stand but if you have the right tools then it shouldn’t be a problem. The desk stands at 120cm tall fully extended which is how I like to have it. The motors are smooth and quiet and the memory feature is a very nice touch.

I am writing this review from my FlexiSpot desk! In summary, I think this desk is good value compared to the huge numbers of others out there offering essentially the same thing but for 4x the price. It’s relatively sturdy, quiet, nice to operate.

I had a few problems constructing the desk – a number of the screw holes were not drilled correctly and I had to rethread them in order to actually put it together. I was a bit disappointed at this, given it was supposed to be an easy-to-build flatpack. Also, two bolts rounded on me with the provided hex key so I’ve had to go and buy some more – this is a minor inconvenience and I haven’t bothered the manufacturer with this, but it is worth noting. Had it have been any worse, I probably would have returned it. This is the reason I dropped down to an overall 4-Stars.

The operation of the desk is easy, I love the standing reminders and the motors are silent. I have a fair amount of weight on my desk and I did test the desk with 99kg of weight which it carried absolutely fine (although I did have to adjust the anti-collision system).

When at maximum height, there is a noticeable wobble when typing, but it’s not world-ending. I notice it when I’m typing and moving my hands across my MacBook, there is a small movement back and forth. However, this isn’t much greater than non-standing desks I’ve had in the past.

Overall, an excellently priced desk for what you get – if you’re wondering whether or not you should take the punt I would argue it’s definitely worth it.

Very easy to assemble. Ordered a top at the same time via the same purchase and discovered the top would take 6 weeks to arrive! Cancelled that and bought another flexispot top. Arrived 2 days later.
Both went together easily. Seems very robust and solid. Not tested the long term duty of the motors but from outset they are quiet.
I really like this. Will help with my back!

I’ve been looking for a sit / stand electric desk for the past month or two and came across a few on Amazon. Went for this model because of the great reviews and reasonable price. Was keen to go with an electric model as knew manually raising / lowering the desk would get annoying and end up in me not using it, also wanted memory settings to allow me to save my prefered heights. Only ordered yesterday lunch time and was delighted when it was delivered today, only 24 hours after ordering even though the estimated delivery was about 7 – 10 days. The desk requires assembly and to warn you comes in a very heavy box! Comes with everything you need apart from a drill / screwdriver for attaching to your desktop. Desk successfully assembled in about an hour, using my existing desk top. The desk feels very solid and has hardly any wobble even at full height. Electronic memory settings are easy to program and motors are very quiet. This one seems slightly more expensive than a few other models but was willing to pay the extra for dual motors as i feel this makes for a more reliable / stable mechanism (no idea if this is true or not) and the memory settings. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!

We have been looking for a great value for money electric sit/stand desk and we have finally found one. Easy to assemble, sturdy at all heights, looks great and not expensive compared to competitors offerings. Such a good product, we looking to get another.
Speed of delivery was great given so many people working from home, home office now looks really professional.

I purchased this desk to make working from home physically easier to avoid sitting in one position all day.

Its fairly easy to assemble, some faffiness with the control box fitting into the frame. Just needed a bit of brute force in the end. It was a fairly heavy package, this is not a bad thing but due to the sturdiness of the frame. It looks solid and well built. Took about 90 mins to build, beginning to end. Instructions were good.

It works perfectly – the desktop moving smoothly up and down. The kids enjoyed going for a ride on it!

Pretty sure this will make working from home a lot easier and a bit more dynamic.

Only potential negative here is price. If it truly help me avoid back/neck pain, then its worth it over the long term. But the price could be argued to appear a bit steep for a stand up desk frame. Time will tell…

    Update (after a weeks use):
Its works great, I like the feature that allows you to choose 3 preset heights. Makes changing position really easy. Has made working from home a lot more comfortable. Would recommend to those who, like me, know that they’ll be working from home a lot now.

Had this for a week – arrived early, all pieces correctly delivered and easy to put together. Take your time, get it right, and it worked perfectly. Went up smoothly, and has been working perfectly for the past week. Transitions between the 3 set heights throughout the day to give me a variation. Cheaper than the Ikea alternative, and far superior in functionality. Very pleased.

Arrived ahead of schedule. Very sturdy. Hard for one one person to lift when assembling and you do need and electric screwdriver, but absolutely fantastic when up. Three set points too so it remembers your ideal standing and sitting heights with a touch of a button. So much better for my back when working at home!

i am using this desk Monday through Friday whilst working from home, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is a quality product and well worth the money. It was extremely heavy on putting together but instructions were fine and took me about 2.5 hours altogether. I will say there is a slight wobble when fully up which can be irritating but I’ve got used to that now and for the money a slight wobble is not an issue. Over-all I am pleased with my purchase, thanks for reading.

I recently purchased the FlexiSpot ED2B Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk as I am going to be working from home for a while, I have a bad back so my son (15 Years old) followed the simple instructions and assembled it easily and no spares parts , the desk is very smooth to go up and down, I really like the sit / stand timer feature, supports my 3 screens well, I would also recommend the spine cable tidy otherwise they just drop down from the desk and look messy.

I was looking for a standing desk for a long time, the Ikea version is twice as much and no where near as good, I have also looked at some other online options, but the value here, especially when you include the memory settings (that some online vendors charge 60 for alone) works well. As someone that is particularly fussy when it comes to items I use on a daily basis, I cannot fault this sitting/standing desk. A very well constructed desk that fits perfectly in my small study.

I’ve been thinking about a standing desk for ages but have always been put off by the very high prices for what you get. This is the inverse – the value here for the quality is silly. Easy and clear instructions and the whole thing was assembled in around 40 minutes. I have repurposed a 2m*1m desktop and it works brilliantly with a 27″ iMac and two additional monitors. Motors are smooth and quiet.

In summary, this is the one to get.

Received my sit/stand desk today after several months of dithering over whether I should get one.

I suffer from IBS, and the increased pressure on my abdomen from sitting all day has a noticeable negative effect on my symptoms. I was weighing up buying from Ikea, specifically the Bekant desk at 475, but it had no position memory to easily switch between heights.

I then looked at some more expensive versions from specialist sit/stand desk companies in the UK, but balked at the 600+ pricetag once a desk top had been factored in.

I settled on this two-motor variant for speed of movement and reliability over the 1 motor variant, and purchased a Flexispot 120cmx80cm desk top to go with the desk frame. I had originally thought about reusing my old Ikea desk top but it’s showing its age and is honestly too big for the room and what I use it for.

The desk mechanism fit the desk top exactly with no adjustment of pre-drilled holes required. No screws had their heads stripped during install which is a nice touch of quality that some companies skimp on. There are a lot of screws to put in but assembly is not difficult and only requires one person.

The shipping box adequately protects the contents and no paint chipping is present on my unit.

In operation, the motors are quiet and quick and the controls are simple and easy to understand. I’d bet you could probably install this all without looking at the manual!

At 5 foot 8 inches tall, at full extension this is large enough to fit a small treadmill under the desk for a cheap walking desk. There is a bit more wobble at full extension but this is to be expected, and it’s nothing that would stop me working or playing.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe desk is well made, and clearly of good quality materials. It feels solid and is very heavy!

Assembly was easy enough, requiring just a few bolts be screwed in with an included Allen key.

The buttons for controlling the height of the desk are easy to operate, and the memory function works very well. The motors are indeed quiet as other reviewers have said.

I’m pleased with my desk and would be happy to recommend if. I’ve removed one star because there is a bit of forward/backward movement in the desk, having only two legs instead of four. I believe this is a common problem with two-legged desks, and even on a much more expensive Jarvis desk reviewers of that product have commented on sideways movement (the legs work in a slightly different way).

It’s worth mentioning that the seller reached out to me and offered to help after reading the first version of this review.

Having finally succumbed to the hype regarding the benefits of standing desks I purchased the Flexispot E2S from Amazon. As I wanted a solid wood desktop I paired it with the Ikea Gerton beech top (26kg).
The desk has been solid as a rock supporting the wood top, 34″ widescreen monitor and MacBook etc. I’m 6’4″ and find that 116cm is perfect for me (120cm is the top height so if you’re taller than 6’4″ maybe find another product!).

WAY cheaper than other models and couldn’t recommend enough.

Looked at various stand-up / site down desks before choosing this model from Flexispot. Easy to assemble (about 90 mins taking my time). Like the fact that this has two motors, one for each leg, which means the rising and lowering is swift and quiet – a simple 1 touch of the pre-set controls. Also like the flexibility – I’m using this as a small desk (1200 x 60 cm) – but in another room the base is expandable to support a larger desk top, bought separately. I chose a desk-top also from Flexi-spot – to be fair, there are others available – but this one is well made and with pre-drilled holes. Improvements? Would like to see a better cable management system underneath and down either of the legs. None of the desks i looked at offered this (or at least, not in this price range).

    Solid and easy to assemble

I decided it was time to look after my back a bit more and buy this desk. I had read the positive reviews and looked forward to receiving it.

    – When it arrived it is heavy because of the legs with the motors in.
    – Putting it together is a joy and easier than anything I’ve built from Ikea!
    – I used my existing Ikea table top
    – It is very fluid when it moves
    – You can commit positions to 3 different memory buttons which is simple to do and works well
    – It isn’t noisy at all

This is a game changer for me as I spend a lot of time behind a desk and being able to switch up my positions is going to make a difference to my back and health.

After reading a previous review, I matched these legs with an Ikea Linmon (25) table top – which itself felt lighter than expected, but has a frame inside for the fixings. The legs appear well-made, extremely robust, with clear step by step instructions on how to assemble them correctly. As per the description, they are adjustable too, so suit a variety of table top sizes.Attaching these to the top was straightforward – a handful of screws for each side. It’s good having the pre-programmed settings, though I have only used 2 – high and low – so far. Definitely better having these than without, or the manual / non-motorised version that appears to suit only occasional height changes due to the number of turns of the handle you need to make. It’s relatively quiet and smooth when changing height either.
One month+ on and I am happy with this purchase and would recommend.

It took me around 45 mins to build and install the desk and with a small amount of jiggling I even managed to do the install without removing my computer from the desktop. Like other reviewers, I’ve been after a height-adjustable desk for ages but they were usually too expensive and too big for me (i.e. too wide for the space I have available). This frame is perfect – great price, enough range of movement for me to go from sitting to standing to walking on a treadmill or balancing on a bosu (I’m 5’7″), and the fact that the width adjusts as well as the height is a real plus. Add to that the fact that it didn’t cost any more for the electric version and that I’ve been able to programme in 2 heights to go from sitting to standing with one touch of the button, and what’s not to love? The frame is really sturdy and very easy to put together. All in all, if you’re looking for an adjustable desk I can’t recommend this highly enough. Following the advice of other reviewers, I bought the 120 cm Linnmon table top from Ikea for 15 and it works very well with this desk. So now I am – in a word – sorted!

Great quality product and at a great price.
It took an hour to convert my normal desk to a sit stand desk for 299 fantastic!
The cost to purchase a sit stand desk complete ranges from 700 to 1500 which is a lot of money to spend on a desk! We bought 3 of these units and therefore did three desks for the price of one good standard system!
The construction is very simple and all tools provided.
Was very impressed by the quality and finish of the components and when built the twin electric notes have a great smooth action.
It’s also a great addition being able to add memory positions as we have drawer sets under the desks and the memory function allows it to return to the same place every time up and down !!
    Great product and highly recommend
Only problem I had was the first unit I purchase had a European plug on the power lead but second two where ok and had uk plugs !!

The FlexiSpot E2S Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk is exactly what I need to counter today’s number 1 enemy — or one of the top 5, anyway — sitting. So this review is being written while I’m standing up.

The unit is solidly built and refreshingly straightforward to assemble. It took me an afternoon to put it together. And that’s going about it very slowly, following a history of assembling other things way too quickly and standing back to see that I’d built it upside down/the wrong way round.

I’d misunderstood the free offer and took it to mean ‘buy one desk and get a seat cushion free’. In fact it means you’ll get a second cushion free if you buy the first one. Who needs two seat cushions? Anyway, it wasn’t the thing that persuaded me to buy the desk so it’s no big deal.

It seems obvious but before you buy the desk, just make sure there’s nothing to impede its progress either on its upward or downward journey. The motor is powerful so if it meets a wall shelf on the way up, for example, the shelf and possibly the wall will come off second best. And if you have filing cabinets under your existing desk, these probably won’t fit under the FlexiSpot because of its crossmember.

Right, time for a sit-down. *presses pre-set height button*

I have dual screens which are mounted on a desk clamp pole and they don’t shake while typing etc. really happy with purchase. I cannot comment on durability of motors as only had it for a month but it comes with 5yr warranty on frame & 3yrs on motor.

First impressions of the desk are great. The box was seriously heavy so probably a 2 person job to carry for most, or you can take the components one at a time.

There are relatively few parts to assemble and all you need is a philips screwdriver as the allen key is provided. Everything is incredibly well made and every part fits together perfectly. Take about 30 minutes tops.

The only slight nag is that there are a few wires (understandably) and with the FlexiSpot desk top there seems to be a lot of spare cable to hide. This is because the desk frame needs to cope with any size of top. However the frame is supplied with a bunch of stick on cable tidies that do the job very nicely.

The controls are really straightforward and simple to use.

Overall I am 100% satisfied. I now stand about 80% of the time and thoroughly recommend the FlexiSpot mat to stand on.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe desk arrived next day as expected, in good condition. The boxes (Adjustable desk and desktop) had a number of knocks, but the items inside were not damaged. It’s very solid and after a few days use I am very happy with the way it operates. The adjustment speed is pretty fast, yet smooth. Even at the maximum height I’ve used it at it doesn’t really wobble much – perhaps if I really lean on it then it might tip slightly but I think you would have to put an unrealistic amount of pressure on it to do so.

You need (obviously!) to be careful with the items under the desk as I got my plastic litter bin trapped at one point, and the desk got lop sided…! And for any items on your desk with cables going underneath, make sure there is enough slack to reach the maximum height you need. I haven’t done so yet, but I will probably have to get on my hands and knees underneath and tidy up all the cables to ensure as much slack as possible.

All in all a very well priced product that I’d recommend to anyone who needs a good quality, easily adjustable stand up desk.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI had been searching for a reasonably priced sit stand desk for a while. I was lucky to get this at a discount during Prime day. The desk is fairly sturdy & the motor is reasonably quiet. I used my own table top, the Linnmon in white from Ikea, it goes together really well. I’m extremely happy with this purchase & would definitely recommend this product.

    Edit:
I’ve been using this for just over a year now so I thought it was only right I added an update. First off I want to say I love the desk even more now. The sit-stand function especially for someone like me with back problems has been a total game changer. I cant see myself going back to a normal desk.

The desk’s control panel comes with memory so you can save your height settings, it also has a timer which is extremely handy because when you are working at the desk you often forget to stand. When adjusting the height it is a bit slow but not annoyingly slow and it’s motion is very smooth.

When the desk is raised to a tall height it is relatively sturdy but as you can imagine it will wobble more than when it’s at a lower height. You will notice it but it’s not annoying to the point it distracts you when you are working on the desk. This sit stand desk has actually made working on my computer a much better experience.

I’ve seen many other sit stand desks priced a lot higher, as an example the Ikea Bekant desk start from around 485. This makes the FlexiSpot excellent value for money and well worth it. No complaints from me, still recommend it highly. Hope this helps your purchase decision.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersI’ve been looking for an electric sit/stand desk for a while now. I’m not a natural office monkey by nature: I’m restless and prefer to be on my feet, but the nature of my work these days demands a lot more desk time. I’d looked at a lot of makes out there and dismissed the ones that didn’t have a memory feature (I can’t be doing with finding my perfect setting EVERY time) or ones that had a hand crank (seriously, how could anyone be bothered?) and had been put off by either very high prices or poor reviews. Equally I didn’t want to part with my battered but much loved solid wooden desk which has been with me for many many years. This seemed to fit the bill. With an impact driver and hex bit I had it assembled in a few minutes, and it seems to be a very well put together bit of kit. It’s extremely sturdy, and the motion when rising and dropping is very smooth. For less than 300 I have a great sit/stand electric desk, with my old desk top on (complete with cutouts for chargers and ports), and it works a treat. I have dual 27″ monitors, decent speakers, a studio microphone, assorted hard drives and of course the computer, all on a hefty wooden desk top, and it handles it without a murmur. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this has me impressed. Well done chaps. Thank you.

Love the option to set pre-set height which is handy (which my expensive table didn’t have). The cable ties provided neatly stow away the wires underneath. Feels strong as well. Couple of good to have would be –
    a) A lower min height. This one has a min of 75cm. 70 / 65cm would been a bit more ideal as I am short – 5.3″. But no biggie – adjusting the chair helped find a suitable position but anyone shorter than me may want to consider that.
    b) Child safety of some kind: So young children don’t “play” with the buttons.

Overall super pleased! Oh! did I mention Prime – arrived the next day!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCan we have 6 stars please? I bought this item because I didn’t have 120 cm as the majority of adjustable bases, but this is awesome and better than expected. Perfect package, easy to assemble with clear instruction and the tool you need. Each screw is identified in separate bags with letters. The paint is very robust as the entire frame. Solid, really solid. Nice control panel and very easy to use. One of the best items I ever bought on Amazon.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersBeen after a standing desk for a while (as I work from home a lot) but always been super pricey.
This stand is surprisingly sturdy (it’s not even pushed right up against the wall) and the adjustment is great (plenty high enough for me at 6’3″).
    Definately recommend!

Sturdy desk at a great price
