Useless
Bought this for my puppy who is quite strong. The lead didn’t retract kept getting stuck.
Then in the middle of a walk the lead snapped. Not impressed at all.

Not so sure it’s that robust but time will tell.
Hard to get used to the flick required to retract the lead and haul dog back once extended.

Decent value extending lead
So far, so good. A decent, moderately-priced extending lead works well for a roughly 20Kg Labrador “puppy”. If you want a basic lead (i.e. no LED lights or dispensers for faecal bags) this seems fine. My suspicion is that however much you pay, in the end the ratchet mechanism wears and the thing has to be replaced. Recommended

I’m using this for my cat so I cant comment on its durability. Works great, and I have had no issues in the couple of short times I have used it.
Twist when fully extended and will not rewind.
When fully extended it gets twisted and will not rewind the only way I can reverse this is to use a pair of pliers to remove the twist otherwise a very good product so that’s why I gave it 5 stars be nice for the manufactures would look into this.

Used daily and the only criticism might be that clipping the lead to the dog collar is a little fiddly-but tht may just be the collar (or me!)

Brilliant extending dog lead
This is a brilliant lead. I purchased this after taking my sons dog for a walk, as I was so impressed with the lead. Big enough for my large hand. Locking feature is easy to use even with gloves on. Seems very sturdy. Good range of colours, I had the red one to match my dogs harness. Excellent purchase.

Like the feel, easy to handle and strongly made. But find not as easy to lock a bit fiddly and have to check lock is secure. Robust lead though and good length.

Very sturdy dog lead!
I bought this to replace an old extension lead for my 6 month old labradoodle puppy. Much sturdier. It holds up to 50kg dog. I got it in black, it looks brand new and smart!

Good quality and sturdy lead, which we purchased for our 25kg Dalmatian. She’s a very heavy puller at the moment and the lead had held up well so far. Lock feature works well also.

I bought this as a replacement for an older retractable lead that was wearing thin. As soon as I unwrapped it I knew it was going to be good. It is nice and sturdy and the lead runs in and out beautifully smoothly. It feels strong and of good quality. I fully expect it to last.
