I have tested the unit on several appliances up to 1700 watts works great the unit makes a slight buzzing noise when switched on but not the audible.

I have been pleasantly surprised with this one as the last one I had was a cheap one. The pur sine wave inverter is silent, does the job and so far appears to be troublefree. The remote control button also helps with easy switch on/ off of the device. The two outptu sockets along with the 1 USB slot provides sufficient options for most needs.

The brass dc connection was only done at a low nm torque and sheared. I can replace it easily if you can post the part (I’m an electrical engineer)
2nd: I have 230v at the terminals by the sockets outlets but not rhe sockets, suggestions?
    Many thanks!

Not cheap but worth the money. Connected to 2 x 110 ah leisure battery’s recharged by split charger and solar. Mainly used for 1000 watt kettle but will power big hoovers and mains drills for fun. Seems to be miserly on battery consumption compared to its predecessor which was bigger but modified sine wave. Powers the wife’s ghds and coffee machine. Not used the remote. Pro wiring kit supplied all in all very impressed

works well – It can pull more than 1000watts and will happily sit with a 1100watt load on there —

Was a lot quieter than I expected, my inverter before had the fan running all the time and it was very loud, where as this one doesn’t, the fan only comes on when you’re using a lot of power. Love the remote, makes life so much easier and helps save power.

I’ve loaded this bad boy with over 3600watts.. The fan cut in for a couple of minutes but took it in its stride.
The remote is simple to use and a great benefit.
Would recommend after spending hours looking at others /reviews etc.

Have this nearly a year now and it works perfect. BUT it showed a fault light after ten months. Contacted them and they sent me out a new one as it was still under guarantee. Customer service was top class.

I purchased the 600W pure sine wave inverter, it works fine and delivers the full 600W. Mine failed after about 2 months for no particular reason, but customer support was excellent and replacement shipped quickly. Some have commented that the supplied cables are not great, but this is probably the correct way to go since each installation will be different, and whatever is supplied might not be suitable — better not put money into leads that might not be used anyway. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

This inverter is of a higher quality than the Chinese crap I had bought from WISH months ago. Once I connected it, it delivered well. Not sure how to test for pure sine wave,
but I have used it to charge my phone and do other things OK. I am pleased with it.

When I received it for the first time, my impression was that it looked well constructed despite being made in China. Worked great with light use, on and off for about 12 months, then it just kept going into fault mode. I contacted Giandel, they asked me to send them a video of the problem and straight away they came back to me and replaced the Inverter. I’ve just installed the replacement today and it seems to be working fine. Thanks Giandel.

When i received the inverter i never got to use it due to the covid situation, but soon as we could get away and test it out we did but unfortunately after using once it smoked and never switched back on.

I quickly emailed giandel with my product serial number found on the circuit board and my amazon receipt.

They got back to me straight away and after 3 or 4 emails they were willing to offer me a replacement which was sent out first class and received 3 days later.

I really cant complain with how they handled the matter and that’s why i bought quality rather than some of the cheaper imitations.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersCan’t sing the praises of this unit enough. It just works. I have the 3kw unit (with 6kw peak). It runs everything I have tried so far with no issues. Running off two 125ah batteries with a 360w solar charger this is a superb unit. I may add a third battery to add to it’s already superb capabilities.

I have run a lawn mower for 2 hours. A hedge trimmer until I finished. And an electric chain saw for many hours of this unit before the batteries went flat. I run all sorts of power tools.and even a water heater and it just works. I ever used it to run a battery charger which chargered another battery. Yep, it worked.

It is perfect to be left on as uses such little power when not used, it is silent below 1kw and the fan instantly starts over 1kw.

It is a proper bit of kit and simply works.

However, the cables provided are not man enough in my opinion. So expect to buy/make some much larger cables with isolator switches from your batteries. I have made some 50mm cables with an isolator from each battery and they work perfectly.

I will report back if this unit ever let’s me down . .
But my confidence is very high as it seems to be so well made and it just works.

UPDATE: I found that the 2x budget 125ah batteries were not as advertised (ebay rubbish) and are no where near their 125ah capabilities. I now have the inverter running off two Varta 220ah batteries and that was the best thing I could do. This has added so much more capabilites to the inverter. I can now run the over and microwave for over and hour with no batteries worries.

So my advise, fit the largest batteries you can and ensure they are high quality brand name items otherwise you won’t be getting the best from the inverter.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis 600w inverter is really good. I’m using mine to power LED strip lights and small power tools in the garage where I have no mains power. I’ll mention the only weak point I could find first – its the battery clips! they feel and look cheap, a bit twisted in places and open just wide enough to get over the battery posts. They will do the job i’m sure but they do not meet the quality of the inverter itself although the cable is very good. The build quality is first class with controls and sockets laid out in a logical and easy to use design. The connection points / sockets / plug ins are second to none! The remote switch is really handy with a good length of cable, it allows switch placement at a convenient accessible location to turn on and off. In use, its powerful running my gear easily and I like the fact that at small loads (powering my lights @ 40w) the unit is silent as the fan cooling is not required. I’m really happy with that.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI had bought another 2000w “pure sine wave inverter” before I opted for this GIANDEL Inverter.

This inverter works flawlessly. In my campervan, I have a 650W mini oven and a travel kettle which runs at 850W. Both together draw 1500W. I can run them both together with this inverter.

The remote control function is superb and the remote controller fits flush into my kitchen unit.

I don’t have an oscilloscope but when I measured out put voltage with a digital meter it showed a perfect 230V a.c.

The other make of inverter (which I sent back) gave me an error when I used a load of less the 1500w and when reading the output voltage on a digital voltmeter it would not give me a true output voltage reading.

My conclusion is that this GIANDEL Pure Sine Wave Inverter is a quality unit and well worth the additional 95 I paid to get it.

I am extremely pleased with it’s performance. Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users1000W continuous 2000W peak 12V DC to 230/240V AC inverter purchased. Installed in a folding camper to provide occasional off grid use. Very compact inverter unit that hardly claimed any valuable storage space. The remote on/off control is very useful allowing the inverter to be tucked neatly away. 100A battery isolator and 100A in-line fuse installed on battery feed. The inverter will happily (but briefly!) power a 1260W Nespresso machine, 800W microwave, 600W oven/toaster. One thing to be mindful of is the current draw off a 12V DC battery, circa 95A for purely resistive loads with 90% inverter efficiency. 4 AWG 25mm2 battery cable used and as short a length as possible to handle the current with minimal voltage drop. Deep cycle absorbed glass mat leisure battery recommended for high power use.

Reliable product, very compact for rated outpu

Golden Review Award: 84 From Our UsersI have had this a week now and been putting it through its paces. I got the 24 volt 2kw variant to cover my shed power demands and its great so far. I tested it at idle and it draws just over half an amp and on 150 watt inductive loads, it pulled 17.5 amps at startup and tapered off to just over 7 amps running with a load. I also have run a 2 KW fan heater with a motor and it fired straight up no need for the soft start option which is achieved by switching the load on first and then powering up the inverter.. The load limit is 2.4kw absolute limit according to the pamphlet and I have taken it to 2204 watts for 2 seconds without it shutting down although that load was basically just resistive and you should not ask it to run 2kw constantly as the fans are far from silent. I will be fusing it for 1650 watts as I will never need any more than that and if you calculate your loading correctly, you should never need the max output continously anyway if you did your homework.

I intend to go through testing and find the 90% efficiency point as it states. The cables that came with it were manly enough for the job for short durations, but I have paralleled the supplied cables with same size and length custom made cables so the cable will never get warm or cause excessive volt drop when fully loaded up.

I will report back with more info once the trials are over in the summer but the last thing I noticed was that when on a load of over 1kw the fans kick in and it blows air from the socket end to the dc input direction (vigorously I might add) if you needed to know for mounting purposes.

So far it does what I need it for and that is running a bench grinder (300 watts), a mitre saw (1700 watts), various battery chargers for drills and as well as a 2kw heater (not all at once obviously). The trigger of the mitre allows for a staggered low speed start as the inverter does not like the 0 to flat out in one go. Chops 4 inch fence posts no hassle as long as your not in a rush and pulling the blade down excessively. The display toggles between input voltage and load in watts, which alternates to kilowatts once your over 1kw. If you need to go over a kilowatt regularly as a rule of thumb you should go for the 24 volt system as it’s half the current of a 12 volt setup so the cables and switchgear are less heavy duty as well as it is less demand on your batteries. 2000 watts is just about 84 amps on the 24 volt setup and you double that on 12 volts and also you get a more efficient setup as volt drop on the 24 volt system has half the effect as opposed the the 12 volt arrangement if cable runs are over a foot or so.

Still testing but it’s looking like I backed the right horse at the price I paid 🙂

After 6 months use the inverter is still working well and during the summer I had an air conditioning unit running off the unit and it never skipped a beat. The AC unit I brought is only 5000btu but thats enough for my shed to stay at 16 degrees for long periods without taxing the inverter. The internal fans on the inverter never fired up once and the case of the inverter only got upto 35 degrees!

This little inverter has done itself proud and has been willing the whole time.
I noticed that as you get closer to the low voltage cut off, you have to do soft starting more often on larger inductive loads and if it does get beyond that point the warning tone accompanied with “LO” on the display comes in just before the unit shuts down and you have to press the power button to switch it off and then back on before it continues when the battery bank is charging so it does not automatically restart ( good to prevent deep discharging of the battery bank )

I found the peak surge is more like 2900 watts (about 3/4 second before auto overload cutout) before you get no usable surge time and that was with 4 x 80Ah leisure batteries in a 24 volt arrangement so the 4 kw surge mentioned would be such a short duration that its not worth counting on.

All in all, I got a good enough inverter for the price I paid and I do not feel that I wasted my money but do your homework, double your battery bank capacity once you have done the maths and fuse it accordingly so you never overload it before it trips as these things are not very forgiving if you do overload it and have too big a margin before the external fuse pops (that you really must have)

Finally got around to finding out where the max efficiency of 90% was and its 1622 watts on the 24 volt 2KW variant and was at the least efficient at 691 watts and that was 78% …the max efficient rating was including the fans running and that test was run for 45 minutes and it was fine doing that, so fusing it for 1680 was on par with the thermal curve… It is critical you get a quick disconnect (isolator) and a decent fuse and circuit breaker setup because should this go wrong, you can cook your batteries and whole setup in moments if your not paying attention… I did open her up after the warranty expired and checked all the caps and also beefed it up a bit with better mosfets and bigger power caps to increase peak surge capability but stay away from doing this unless you are qualified or have a good grasp on inverters and mains voltages !!!!!!

Would I buy this again? Yep! I also went the whole hog and get an equivalent low frequency inverter (The bulky types with the big transformer inside) for the same price and I could only find a 1500 watt continuous 24 volt variant for the same price that was worthy of the task, so this version of the inverter for the price and the durability was a deal and still is boys and girls

Good clean output with a generous overload window

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI purchased a Giandel 600 Wat pure sine inverter on the 7th of Feb what a good choice it was for the price. It’s very well made I know it’s only a small one at 600 Wat but I fitted it into my Motorhome last week and my wife and I went out for 3 nights of grid, and it has done us proud I’ve got a solar panel system connected to my 2 leasure batterys , the inverter is connected to the batteries and we run our laptop and charged up our phones on trouble. And it’s not to heavy at about 2 Kilos, so I would recommend this inverter or if you need a larger one look at Giandel Inverters first.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersExcellent product for the price. I went glamping “glam camping” with the family, brought a little TV and movies on a pen drive. With the use of a old motorcycle battery and this converter we had some entertainment after are long walk. Plenty of power to charge phones and tablets over a few days. Might get another one with more sockets for the garden to charge beer cooler, game console ad TV, just got to wait for the weather. 🙂 Good price.

Plugged up to a old motorcycle battery.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our Users2I was surprisingly impressed with this. Not the highest wattage output but pretty good and stable.
I had to do some work at my daughters stables. Rather than running extension leads, I attached this to the car battery and used a jig saw for quite awhile without ant problems!
Handy thing to have when a mains power supply is always easily available!
I am now considering another one with a higher wattage output as I can see a lot of possible applications for these!
