Makes ice very quickly! Being my 1st ice machine I can’t compare it to others but so far impressed with how quickly it works if you plan on guests coming start the process a few hours before and bag some up ready in the bags provided! If I was being very picky I would say it’s a little noisy but not annoyingly so. Overall very happy with the product.
Great value for money
I bought a much expensive one for home what’s no where near as good as this one ok smaller but when it gives you the ice cubes they stay frozen my other one before you have chance to put them in your drink they melting so this machine i give it 10/10
Bought this as my own Christmas present (sad but true) . Very well packed inside Amazon box. The actual product is even better transit protected. Make sure you carefully unpack the item. There are a number of removable tapes on the outside and inside of the appliance. Once done, don’t switch it on for at least 2 hours (see instructions) the refregiation gas needs to settle before use.
After 2 hours, and recheking all seals have been removed, remove ice basket (and ice scoop). Fill with tap water, AKA Corporation Pop to the level indicated. Despite other reviews on here, this model holds exactly 2 Litres of water.
There is a plastic sucker/hook that you could fit to the side of the ice maker to hold the scoop. A handy feature. Do not use the machine with the scoop left in the ice bucket.
Switch on. Ensure that the appliance is plugged into a wall socket (not an extension lead) the appliance must be earthed to prevent any shock.
The unit has a selection of Large or Small cubes. This is a matter of taste. For me large is great in a tumbler of Whisky and Lemonade as I write. About 6 minutes before your first 9 cubes and therafter 9 cubes per 6 minutes.
The unit will pause when the ice basket is full or the water level is too low.
Yes, the ice will become compacted if left for too long, this is what ice does. So don’t moan about it. Just enjoy plenty of ice. Best switch the machine on about an hour before your guests arrive!
As for self cleaning function, sod that, just make a solution of Milton Sterilising liquid and run that thrugh every month.
Overall a great product at a fantastic price!

Pleasantly surprised
I was a bit dubious about buying this machine but am very happy. I bought this because it’s Christmas and we have very little storage space in our current freezer.
I detest those little bag you have to fill with water and they usually burst or leak and the cubes are too small. Also if you buy a bag of ice then it’s too large to fit it.
With this you can make as much or a little as you need in no time and them pop them in the freezer.
It’s not as noisy as I thought it would be so am happy all round.
We’d been used to a fridge that had a built in ice maker so when we moved to a new rental that didn’t, we thought this was a better option than filling ice trays. Overall this seems an excellent unit but in practise it’s not quite the same. Pros: makes a small batch of ice cubes within 6 minutes and within half hour you have plenty to make a good round of drinks. Perfect if you are entertaining. Cons: it will keep cubes frozen while the unit is on but after a time the ice cubes stick together badly. Likewise if you try to transfer the made cubes into the freezer. They are a bit too small and wet to stay separate. When you turn it off, the cubes thaw and the water returns to the tank to be recycled, but they recommend that you don’t leave water in the tank for hygiene reasons so you need to move the unit to a sink to empty it using the little plug underneath – a bit fiddly. Conclusion: can’t fault the unit – it does exactly what it is supposed to, and will be incredibly useful at times, but overall it is not quite a replacement for a built-in ice maker and we’ve found ourselves filling the odd ice tray to have a back up supply of big ice cubes in the freezer.

Trs bonne machine glaons,avec cette chaleur je m en sert tous les 2 jours, je commence le matin ,je rempli d’ eau jusqu au trait indiqu et je rempli 3 sac de conglation taille des sac(petit),pour le nettoyage automatique il faut appuyer sur les 2 boutons on/of et slect en mme temps pendant dix seconde peu prs ,quand le bouton passe du s au l simultanment le netoyage commence et dur prs 15 20 minute,le netoyage se fait avec de l eau et du vinaigre blan. Je recommande cette machine.

ottima macchina per ghiaccio, non occupa molto spazio, molto funzionale e silenziosa e molto veloce. Sono rimasto un po deluso dalle dimensioni del ghiaccio e dalla loro robustezza.

Have had this machine for a couple of months or so now. It’s great. Okay, ice cubes are a little small and thin compared to ones you’d make in an ice cube tray, or come ready made in supermarket, and they do come out opaque, but honestly it’s a great little machine. I just make up 2kg bags at a time and put more into my drink to make up for differences. Once finished, it’s easy to drain the excess water from the tank, then I give the inside a good wipe dry with a clean tea towel, and it’s good to go the next time. Haven’t actually used self clean function yet as I find so long as I’m diligent about emptying and drying it once my 2kg bag is full, there are no issues. It’s a bit 3xpensive for what it is, but overall I’m very happy and no regrets in my purchase.

Mais je l utilise bcp. Compter 20 min apres la mise en fonction pour avoir de nombreux glaons.

This is my second ice machine – my first is in storage during a move. I missed having ice on tap so much that I decided to buy another machine – my other one is an Andrew James version – this is just as good. As others have mentioned, the ‘cubes’ aren’t as big as you’d get from a frozen ice tray – they’re sort of bell-shaped – but the machine makes them so quickly that you can put a handful of them in a glass – and if they melt too fast, just add more (I’ve not actually had this issue, but others seem to have).
The machine is ridiculously easy to use – just add water and that’s it. The cleaning process is simple too. There’s something special about having ice on tap for drinks and cocktails – this makes it so easy. I wouldn’t say it’s a cheap option – freezing cubes in the fridge or freezer is much more economical – but it’s more convenient and less faff. Very happy with my purchase (and no one has paid me or otherwise rewarded me for writing this review)!

Das ist unsere zweite Eismaschine. Die erste war langsamer, lauter und die Eiswrfel fahren viel zu nass. Hier passt es besser. Die Eiswrfel tropfen ab und die Maschine leert den Wassertank fast bis zum letzten Tropfen. Sie knnte noch ein bisschen leiser sein. Jetzt hoffen wir nur, dass sie lnger hlt als unsere letzte Maschine (die hier aktuell auch nicht angeboten wird). Wir verwenden jetzt Trinkwasser aus Flaschen, um Verkalkung zu vermeiden.

I was concerned that this would be another pointless lockdown purchase, coupled with the fact we have 3 sunny days a year in the UK. Oh but what a few days. The ice was flowing!. It takes maybe 7-10 minutes to get proper ice cubes and they last longer than I expected. If you want ice and don’t want to clog up your freezer, buy this machine..
As the warmer weather was approaching I wanted to invest in an ice cube machine rather than having to buy bags of ice or make countless trays just to get a decent amount. After some searching I decided on this. It comes in mint and black and can hold up to 2 litres of water which is plenty for making a few days worth of ice cubes even on the larger size setting.
Set up is easy — once it arrives you have to leave it like any refrigerated appliances to sit for an hour. I left mine 2 just to be safe. You lift out the ice cube tray and fill the water tank up to the line, switch it on and you start getting ice! It takes around 5/6 minutes to make 9 cubes and about an hour to fill the basket.
The ice cube sizes are listed as small and large but I would say they are more extra small and medium.
I’ve noticed that sometimes with the ice cubes falling into the basket they will stack up and this causes them to sit in front of the sensor telling the machine the basket is full (and preventing it from making more ice cubes) so you need to push them down once it starts to fill up.
The little ice scoop it comes with is so handy and a lovely little extra. I’ve found that 2 basket fills will be enough ice to fill a lunch box container and I keep that in the freezer to be used over the next day or so. Such a great little machine and I’d recommend anyone to get one!

Following numerous knee operations – on the same knee – I purchased an ice machine with knee sleeve. This ice maker was purchased to provide the ice for the knee machine. It is very quick to provide ice. It can be in small or large cubes and I have run the machine day and night for weeks without a single fault. When full of ice it pauses, when out of water it pauses. Very pleased with it.

Spent ages looking at reviews before deciding which one to go with. Ended up going for this one because the reviews seemed ok. Great machine. Ice is small compared to commercial units but they are great in our home bar drinks. Most desktop machines produce similar size ice tbh so if you want large cubes prob need a much bigger budget. Cannot fault the machine thus far. Put it on an hour before people turn up and you have a tray full of ice and keeps topping up. Happy with our purchase.

As a family that get through a lot of ice, making ice in the freezer was a little too much trouble for 3 teens and I ended up buying 2-3 bags a week, this is great, the ice doesn’t last as long in a drink, but there’s always plenty more to top it up. I was really surprised at how much ice you can get from 2ltrs of water. We have ours in a larder by the fridge so we don’t really notice if it’s noisy, but it’s no noisier than the fridge. One thing I would recommend is to run some Milton sanitizer through it for a few cycles and then run some fresh water for a few more, I do this about once a week just to keep it clea

I liked that small ice cubes ready after 6-7 mins, have to wait a bit longer if you want bigger cubes. Kept on making ice till water ran out so I bagged it an put in the freezer for another time! Delighted with the machine so far! We also didn’t mind the holes in the middle.

Great machine and quick at producing ice. I did ask other purchasers whether the ice produced was clear and three respondents said the was clear. In my case it sadly was not using water from various sources including filtered, tap, and bottled. I got opaque white ice, fully functional but not the aesthetics I was looking for so very sadly the machine is going back. I wonder if I did something wrong or was the machine faulty. If you’re not bothered or vain about the clarity of your ice this is cracking machine.

Very useful
I had been considering one for a while, and chose this one. It is great – produces a lot of ice. Takes a little while to get going but is excellent. I put the large ice cubes in a bag in the freezer and use them later. During this hot weather it has been a godsend.
Ice is cold
Since receiving this we’ve been on a camping holiday, I was a little dubious how well this would work as temperatures hitting 30degrees. It has worked great and would recommend this product after using this fir a week 100%.

Produces plenty of ice however you do need to leave it on all day and store the unused ice as it’s a little bit slower than I thought – saying that, we now have ice filling up all the nooks and crannies of our freezer.

This is our second ice machine and this is much more superior to the previous one. Looks nice, and most importantly makes ice quickly and a good size. Basket holds a fair amount of ice and so does the water reserve. Only negative, the drainer plug at the bottom of the machine, which is used to drain off any water when not using / or cleaning is rather difficult to unplug and fiddly. But just this would not stop me from recommending.

I bought this icemaker when I came home from convalescence after a knee replacement operation. Ice packs were needed to encourage the swelling to go down. When my knee recovered the ice maker then made ice for drinks and anything else needed. Highly recommend.

Perfect and not too big
This is perfect. It is fast freezing and has an automatic stop when full. The ice is great. I wish the kids won’t keep turning it on and then forgetting about it. That’s not the machines fault though!
