This plastic yellow/green yoyo is great for both beginners (ahem, me) or those learning tricks. It comes in a small but nice box, which makes it suitable as a present. I would suggest this is suitable for both children and teenagers. I am not up to date on the tricks or how to do them, and the instructions were not written in fantastic English, but a quick search online shows you. It’s fun, makes a great stocking filler, and is relatively inexpensive.

Unclear instructions, but a good yoyo

This is a great yoyo, looks great and works really well with a nice feel. The yellow is eye catching and it looks like a well made yoyo.

A great yoyo for older children or adults. It is a responsive one that will come back to you without having to do tricks to get it back. Comes with instructions on how to attach the string and there are also replacement strings too.

I already had a metal one of these that was originally intended for my son, but I couldn’t put it down so I got this one for him.
Very nice, high quality plastic, totally bubble free. Comes with a nice egg bag, spare strings, bearings and tools to make for a really nice comprehensive starter trick yoyo. Instructions are pretty bad but there are some really excellent youtube videos covering everything. A great starter.

To start with, I would ignore anyones review who isn’t able to put on a Yoyo string properly. They clearly don’t know how to use a Yoyo.

This Yoyo is awesome and it’s great beginner Yoyo. I got it for my 9yr old, he’s now able to do several tricks already since getting it.

One of the best things about this is the fact that you can change the axle and bearing to make it an unresponsive Yoyo! So effectively 2 yo-yos in one!

The price is also very good considering what you get in the package!

All in all, very pleased and how awesome does it look too!?

I hope this review helped you- thanks for reading it!

Well weighted and very responsive yoyo from a brand that we have used before and loved.
We like that this particular one can be altered to an unresponsive yoyo when you’re ready to graduate onto performing tricks. For that reason, we feel this is a great intermediate yoyo for someone still learning the “ropes” and on improving technique in preparation for more advanced performance.

You also get a good selection of strings – perfect for our teen who hasn’t quite reached his adult height yet. He’s cut the frost string down to his size (instructions provided), once he grows noticeably more, he can swap the strings and adjust the lengths.

A well put together set, which are fussy yoyo-er actually loves. He’s tried a few before this one.

This yoyo is supplied in an attractive display box, so it would be suitable as a gift.
It’s solidly constructed, and the striking neon lemon-yellow colour stops it getting lost.
It’s a bit heavy to hold until you get used to it, but it’s easy to hold, even for kids. The balance and weight help you to learn tricks easily.
The option of responsive and unresponsive bearings means you can use it either as a standard yoyo or one that will spin at the end of the string for trick; this is a big plus. There are several other spares in the pack, including five strings in different colours.
    Great value.

I got this as a sort of reminder of the days when I could actually use a yo-yo. Back then when they were more popular, I had a clutch bearing yo-yo that was easy to do all the tricks with and once it slowed down too much, the clutch would engage and the yo-yo returns automatically.

This yo-yo is a more professional one that actually requires skill to use and it’s taught me just how bad I was at real yo-yo skills. It comes with no clutch and two different bearing types, reactive that is easy to get into a spin then pull back up and the non reactive that isn’t so easy and you have to take a more advanced approach to get it out of a spin.

It’s a great gadget for passing the time and trying to refine some of my old skills, that I clearly never had. This one isn’t all about skill though, it does look good too but there isn’t much space between the two halves so the string does slow down the yo-yo slightly faster and makes it a little more difficult to do tricks with it.

Firstly, this is one awesome yoyo….

If you’re not into yoyos, you might be wondering what ‘responsive’ and ‘unresponsive’ means?

Responsive means if you bounce it at the end of the string while it’s spinning, causing the string to become just momentarily slack, it will bind to the rubbery ring inside the spindle, catch, and return up the string.
What that does is allow time for you to do a trick or two while the yoyo spins on the end of the string, but you can then still get it to return with a bounce… It does need to be spinning quite well so learning how to throw it down quite fast is the beginning to mastering the responsive yoyo.

Unresponsive means the bearing it wider and it keeps the string central thus preventing it from binding and winding back up, that type you need to do more stuff manually with the string to get it to bind. I’ve not mastered unresponsive yoyos yet, but when this one’s in responsive mode (as it comes out the box by the way) it’s superb.

Yep, I have a bunch of responsive yoyos, some of this brand some of others, and this one it among the good ones whether you’re a beginner or expanding on your yoyo trickery…
Love the look of this too, it’s not a metal one like others I have it’s a translucent colour and looks awesome.
Also love that this comes with a bearing and axle bolt to make it unresponsive if you want it like that. So many yoyos don’t come with those parts.

Overall a superb yoyo, and many hours have already been spent thrashing this around the world I can tell you!

Nice yoyo supplied with 2 bearings (one responsive one not) so good for a range of tricks from beginner to more experienced yoyo-ers!

Priced at 13.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review is fairly reasonable for this professional plastic yoyo with accessories. The yoyo arrives in a compact and attractive cardboard box which is suitable for gifting.

Inside the box is one crystal yellow/green plastic yoyo, five stings (various colours), one yoyo bag, one professional bearing removal tool, one KK bearing (unresponsive bearing), one M4*10mm axle.

The yoyo is very solid, with a good weight, and is smooth and appears well made. The strings are probably a cotton mix but they look cotton, which has been used as the string of the yoyo for years, which is a nice traditional touch.

Overall, a very nice yoyo and an ideal for a young person or adult who are looking to learn tricks. I always suggest a child start with a wooden yoyo and get used to standard yoyoing and basic tricks before they buy a plastic or metal yoyo meant for more elaborate tricks. This yoyo, considering its accessories, would work as an intermediate yoyo for an older child, teen or adult; it is not a beginner’s yoyo in my opinion.

There is an instruction manual which shows and explains how to work out the length of the string you need, how to tie a knot for your finger and how to attach the string to the yoyo and wind up your string. It then has a section on how to do some yoyo moves.

I am pleased with this product and am happy to recommend at the current price point. This would make a nice small gift for an older child, a teen or an adult who has already mastered basic yoyoing and is ready to move on to more intermediate skills.

I ordered this yo-yo for my 6 year old daughter as she has been asking and asking for one.
Due to her age and being just a learner I feel like this yo-yo with ability to be set to responsive or non responsive was a great choice for her.

The yo-yo is well weighted and very responsive which makes it really easy to use.
I like that this particular one can be altered to an unresponsive yoyo for when she’s ready to graduate onto tricks.
For that reason, I feel this is a great beginner/intermediate yo-yo for someone like my daughter who is still learning the ropes and wants to improve technique in preparation for a more advanced performance.

You also get a good selection of strings of differing lengths – perfect for my daughter who obviously is still a young child so is far off from reaching her adult height.
I’ve cut the first string down to a size appropriate for her (instructions provided), and once she grows noticeably more, I can swap the strings and adjust the lengths.

A well put together set, which my daughter actually loves. The colour is perfect for her too as it’s very girly being pink.

This yoyo is for beginners and advanced, it can be turned into an unresponsive yoyo with the included tool. I have found this yoyo to be really good at trying simple tricks. I highly recommend this one to start out.

    MAGICYOYO K2 Responsive Yoyo.

This is a nicely boxed Yoyo and accessories. The Yoyo have a good weight to them, unlike cheaper toy like varieties. You can customise it with the included different coloured strings. The kit is completed with storage bag, bearing, axle and bearing remover. The only thing you need to do now is Walk the Dog and Rock the Baby!.

A nice toy that requires some putting together (must admit I don’t think I got it 100% right) but still works as a yo-yo should.

I initially ordered an unresponsive yoyo from this company which I found very difficult to use. Therefore I ordered this one in order to practice using a yoyo and it is a great yoyo for children or beginners.

It comes with multiple different coloured strings to choose from as well as an unresponsive bearing so you can make it more difficult if you would like.
Getting started wasn’t too difficult. You put the string onto the yoyo and wind it up then you’re ready to go.

You throw your arm forward and the yoyo rolls down the string, you then flick your wrist up and it comes straight back. It does take a little practice in order to get it every time but once you do, it can be great fun to start learning some tricks.

If you are looking for a fun, traditional toy, I would suggest this yoyo for beginners.

These are pretty attractive and easy to learn yoyos for those who are just on to it.
The package also includes no responsive bearing, carry case, few strings and bearing removal tool.
The colour looks fabulous and the strings are contrasting colours to enhance the visibility.

    Beginner to intermediate level yoyos

Really like this yoyo, it’s responsive and smooth in use.

Theres a number of different strings in the box and there’s also a kit to swap it to and unresponsive once your skill level grows.

It has decent spin obviously not as much as an unresponsive but definitely enough to get a few tricks in.

    Overall, this is great.

    Nice fluid yo-yo

Having just reviewed a non responsive YoYo i then saw that this one is a responsive yoyo and also comes with the bearings to change it to a non respobsive so was eager to review it as me and my son can now do it at the same time and learn the tricks. This one is obviously much easier as it auto returns when flicked up unlike the non responsive that you have to learn how to bind to get it to return but you can do lots of different tricks with each one and we love things like this, my teenage sons have been doing tricks with Diabolos for years so its great to now learn how to do trick with a smaller yoyo which have come a long way since I owned one when I was a kid, back then it was all the rage to have the ones that lit up, now they have moved onto much cooler tricks. If you love a challenge like a rubix cube or diabolo then you will love these Yoyo’s highly recommend

Getting to use a yo-yo well us always harder than you think so the fact if you just tug the string the yo-yo comes back to you winding itself helps a lot with the tedious retrievals. Nice and bright, I actually tested this with a five year old who started to get better way before me. At this price it’ll grow with them and will also make a nice gift as it comes boxed as in the pic. This is a bit heavier( although not heavy at all) than previous cheaper models we’ve tried so I don’t know if that helps. It’s very well made, good quality

    Easy for beginners

This is a good Yoyo for beginners and it can be changed to the unresponsive mode as well. My granddaughter’s at an age where she’s learning and this is a really decent Yoyo to start with. It’s a skill that takes practice and the beauty is the Yoyo can be altered to suit her capabilities. I love that it’s got a choice of strings and its own bag as well as the tools to adjust it. I appreciate that it’s not cheap but it’s much better then the cheap plastic ones you find in toy shops and newsagents. Also, as far as my granddaughter goes, it’s pink . . .
