A good piece of wood with a mic in it, it does what it has to. A little bit overpriced, being just that, but it really adds to my acoustic performances.

This stomp has become an essential part of my set. I use it as long as my ankle holds out. I have to try not to use it on every song. I’m a solo/folk/singersong writer. To set this puppy up on your mixer I recommend turning the highs and mids all the way off, and boost the low to max. Then refine it from there, if you need to. You might need to give a touch of gain/trim depending on your mixer pre amps. Add just a touch of reverb to the channel. It sounds like a bass drum. It sounds better than a bass drum! Just remember when you start the beat make sure you keep it going. You’ll notice people tapping their feet, you might even get dancers. That’s been my experience. This is an excellent little product. It’s sturdy. Solid. You’re going to want to have it on a rug, because even with the rubber bottom it still will scoot a bit as you use it. As you can see from my photo, mine is getting used. If you need some footstompin’ in your set this is the product to get.

Simple to use and louder than needed. Volume adjustment is crucial. Using a Bose L1 PA which has great bass response.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst off, it sounds good. Just like a bass drum that you feel, which is the whole point. If other reviews say it’s tinny, then they must have tiny PA speakers or guitar amps with which they’re using this.

We’re using this in a folk trio for ren fair gigs, and it made it through its first few shows. Like I said, sounds great. But! The top is super worn already. I’ll need to buy like an adhesive rubber pad to protect it before our next run of shows.

Only one sound. If your looking for more you will be disappointed. I wish I bought the more expensive one with more options. But it works good for one it is. One sound stomp

I love this thing! It sounds just like a bass drum with the proper eq! The build quality is great, too!
