Heat Resistant - NOT FLAME Resista
These gloves are “Heat Resistant Gloves” – NOT “FLAME Resistant Gloves” there used for picking up thing’s out a conventional oven like oven mitts or using around gas powered BBQ’s , they are not designed for use as a fireman or F1 mechanic like some people seem to be confused about when purchasing.
Grea
A little tough to get your hand into, but nothing worse than any other gloves of this type. Don’t go too large (I did as I have big hands and they are still massive) but they perform really really well. I cook with heavy cast iron and have had no bother at all.

Use these for moving my cast iron pots in the fire, absolutely brilliant! Highly recommended and really hard wearing.
First impressio
Hi, did not give 5 stars simply because I am reviewing after first use. They look good and fit great, they feel snug and cozy round my fingers. Despite the thickness of the material it is easy to move and grip things. I held the hot oven tray and felt nothing

They haven’t been used yet because of the weather. Bought for Xmas. They look strong so hopefully they are heat protected.

Do the job
I use mine for doing my fire ashes and putting coal on the fire which are really good, just don’t hover near hot coals for more than 4 to 5 seconds as you will feel the heat. But on the whole ok.
Very happy with purchase
Bought for use with wood burning stove and they are perfect for it. Only criticism is that they are very large. Fine for my husband but huge for me.
Reliable gloves
My previous gloves were too small for my hands and were not good at protecting me from heat after just a few seconds.
These, on the other hand, fit properly ( medium fits my largish but not huge hands) and I can rely on them to protect me whilst I pick up and move hot items.
One thing not mentioned, however, in the advert, is the fact that, due to the material used, if you get the gloves wet then heat is transferred to your hands/fingers very quickly- so forwarned is forearmed!
Overall, I am happy with the purchase and know they’ll do a good job for me. Recommended.
