I like the drum set and my five year old likes it but it's really small. More for toddlers if you want extended use out of it. My 5 year old is tall so this may be uncomfortable to use come next year or so. But it's structurely sounds and beats any plastic toy drum. Rock out!

Mainly Positive
Comes well packaged, and reasonably easy to assemble. If you’re any way competent at putting things together, then this is mostly simple. The only part I found any way tricky was the bass drum. Once the pedal is clamped on to the bass drum, there is a little square nut that needs tightening. It can be done so with your fingers, but if you have a suitable tool, this will help to make it tighter than a manual effort. I attach a photo that highlights this square nut. Apart from that, putting it together was fine.
The set itself performs quite well, and is a good size for our 6 year old. It’s a touch flimsy, but for young kids, this will do nicely. It is, after all, a mini replica, and looks and sounds as such. If you do want a kit that will look and sound better, fork out some more. It’s had a good bashing the last month, and is still in good condition, but I can’t see it surviving long term. But then, a couple of years is all I need. If he sticks with it, then we’ll upgrade it accordingly. It’ll do, for now.
PS I’ve seen reviews say this is perfect for toddlers/3 year olds. I can’t see how 2/3 year olds could be able to use the bass drum correctly. That’s all!

We bought this for our 6.5 yr old. Fits perfectly and will for a while. We were surprised at the quality. This is a real drum set, good quality, sturdy, great sound. We have never set up a drum set before and we still didn't have any problems. Excellent find for sure.

Fui baterista aficionado y me pareci de muy buena calidad y sonido. A mi hijo le encant. Como las bateras grandes, hace mucho ruido, yo recomiendo ponerle ahogadores o silenciadores hechos en casa para no daar el odo del nio y que no pierda el gusto por tocar; en internet hay videos sencillos de como hacerlos.

Great drum kit for toddlers
Assembly: should be easy. One of my bolts didn’t screw on easily when mounting one of the skins on the kick drum. They’re typical hardware problems. Fortunately it would screw enough to hold sufficiently,so I didn’t make a deal out of it. Took like 15 minutes.
Value: excellent. I could see my toddler enjoying this for a couple of years.
Sturdiness: the toms mounting mechanism looks like a typical drum set, but with a toddler, I don’t know how long it can hold tight in one spot, as toddlers will frequently lean on the drums, and hence loosen and wear away at the mounting screws. Still, it should hold enough for a couple of years until it’s time to buy a larger kit.
Overall: highly recommend, the kit has real playability, the drums and cymbal all sound pretty nice!
Good Value Drum set for kids
Assembly didn’t take long, tools to tighten provided but wasn’t sure how much to tighten.. didn’t care to do it perfect since my son is still beginner.
The seat adjustment is a bit tricky and short even for a 10 yo but again .. for realistic beginner set, probably the best you can find on amazon for this price point.
