Great product and great value
Fantastic product – great features – a fraction of the price of the alternatives. Only one small gripe – the shape of the plug/transformer makes it impossible to fit safely outdoors (ie under IET regs). I think the image shows the problem pretty clearly: The transformer won’t fit inside a standard weatherproof box – and even if you adapt the box, you need some kind of perspex/transparent cover (and I’m not convinced that the IR sensor for the remote would see through it)

Very happy with these- the bulbs are smaller than I expected but the light they give is really lovely! Have them on a 6 hour timer and works like a dream!

Love these lights in my garden and it’s great they are timer controlled so they can switch off on their own. They have different brightness settings too which makes them look lovely at night. Would recommend
Works Exactly As Described
This is my third set of these lights and I have to say that I am very pleased with them. They work as described and I have no issues or complaints about the quality or performance of the lights. For the money I think they are very good value. One final point, one reviewer said his don’t work with a smart socket. I use mine with both an Amazon and / or a Philips Hue smart socket / plug and they work just fine.
Quite impressed with the second versio
This product is super good! Because the first one performed so well, We purchased a second. They have a long lead and the lights are bright- they look fab- both as an external festive decoration and to hang up on summer nights. Whilst I would give a perfect score you should note that the first purchase had a separate connection box ( presumably where the different light sequence combinations are sorted) this is a bit annoying as I worried about it getting wet) the second one ( same supplier) came with this connector as part of the plug- this is a much better option in my opinion and much easier to work with in terms of weather protection.
With that exception these were good value

A really nice product. Good size lights, only one colour but good range of actions and easy to use control – you can plug them in inside and point control at plug through a window from outside, to switch them on if you need to.

These were great. I bought these for outdoor use over Christmas however the plus wasn’t compatible with the outdoor socket so I brought them inside instead. They have a Lovely soft white light and look great draped around a window

lights good, remote not working.
The remote worked once, i think, then not again which is not very good for someone who needs the remote. Bought because the remote was a big benefit for me, as lights are out in the bad weather (winter).
At the moment while a lot of isolating and non mixing because of Covid, anything that avoids going out is good.
Great shame about remote. Anybody else found it not working or is it just mine?

Love these lights. Can easily be joined to more if the same. Real glass bulbs need care when hanging.

So far so good. One week and the lights are working just fine. The remote control is an important feature.
he lights are fine,but the plug is upside down for UK exterior sockets . when plugged in the protective flap can not close ,so it can all get wet inside,silly & dangerous Also the lead can not fall down the slot provided for the purpose in the socket casing ,because the plug is upside down !!!!
Nice lights
Pleasantly surprised at how much I like these lights and think they are great for what I paid at 12.70. I have festooned our front hedge with them and they look good – bright and cheerful. There are various light modes you can choose, depending on how much you like your neighbours. We happen to like ours so I have the lights on a gentle wave but you could have them going like the clappers and annoy everybody. The remote is dinky and works through the window. Not sure the little control box thing in the lead should be protected from the elements or not but I have wrapped it up and sheltered it anyhow. Would be better if this was not so close to the end of the lights so you can properly protect it. Good lights though.

Lovely lights - feel good facto
Put them up at Halloween to brighten up the garden – I use the timer and my neighbours have told me that they bring a cheerful look at a difficult time for all of us so they’ll stay on until the new year.

Put these up in the garden last weekend. I wanted plug in lights, not solar, but had found other lights of this length very expensive. Took a chance, and although the bulbs are a little smaller than I expected, they look brilliant.
I have one string suspended under a pergola and the option to dim the lights is really good. They go down very low and soft which is great for chillin in the garden but up to quite a reasonable light when on full.
They look bright white when unlit but when switched on the are a soft warm white.
So far I am very pleased, just need to see how they stand up to the British weather.

These lights are brilliant, but please be careful when attaching them as the wire brakes very easily. I bought 2 sets and had to find the brake and repair it on both sets , My wife says it’s me being heavy handed !!!

A very neat and interesting set of lights!!
These lights are really good, the colour is a warm white and with the ability to dim them to your taste is an added bonus. They look really nice at night especially as I have fitted them on a low wall in my garden, allowing them to shed a trace of light on the lawn. The timer is set because the electrical drain is very low, so it’s a case of fit and forget! They have so far been through a few heavy downpours and still live to tell the tale! Just ensure the controller is weather protected. I can thoroughly recommend these lights.

Great lights, use them to create a fairy light wall in my dressing room. Great feature, perfect length.
Bought two sets of these string all round my bedroom and very pleased. Light quality is nice and warm and remote works well. Dimmer is a really handy feature and really ejoy relaxing in my room now, very ambient. When i installed the second set i found – probably cos they’re in the same room and the signal for the remote can’t be that specific – that both the sets are controlled by one remote (i’ve kept the second remote as a spare) but i can’t controll them separately without unplugging one. Can’t controll this so not a big deal but lights are brilliant. Few bits of excess glue on some and only one little plastic bit out of the whole set was a little loose so i just glued it on again but otherwise i’m very pleased

The lights look really good, different from the norm, and with a nice wam glow. My only gripe is the short length of cable between the control box and the first light. Much too short, because the control box must be housed indoors. The remote control works brilliantly, giving control over timing and range of light patterns.

I love this product. This is the second time I have bought this product and looked forward to adding this set to our garden.
Unfortunately there was NO remote control.
I checked the set on delivery, as recommended. It was pefect and thought no more about. We hooked it up to our glass verandah and then realised the problem. Our only method of control is by using the main plug.
