I think this is a great set for the price I paid
We absolutely love this Montessori inspired spelling game. It is helping my four year old learn to spell as well as learn his letters. It is well-made and the muted colors on the blocks are very attractive. I would recommend this product to anyone with toddlers or preschool age children!
I love the idea of this learning game. Love that it’s wooden. I will say some of the letters and pictures on the blocks were worn off and not crisp. Also there were a few mistakes on some of the cards. Other than that it will still be a great tool to teach my kiddos. Ask it didn’t come with any instructions though so I’m a little lost on how it is “supposed” to be used.
One of the cards had a misspelt word. It’s a cute fun word game I sit and do with my 5 year old. Easy clean up. Lots of words.
My preschool age son has been loving this game. We use it as flashcards and then pick one to search for the hidden letters on the blocks. Great educational game!
Really cute and sturdy. You can hide the word or put the flash card on the extra wooden stand and have child copy the word. Only 2 flash cards had errors. Overall, I would recommend this toy.
I love this game and so does my 4 year old daughter! It gives my daughter a great opportunity to learn from home. Besides learning how to spell she uses the cards to play the grouping game. (She puts animals together or objects together.) The colors and the wood material is 10/10!!! It is great if you love the Montessori method. I enjoy seeing my daughter so excited about an educational game!
The minute it came in my little guy couldn’t wait to open it and play. He doesn’t know all his letters but he had fun looking for the matching words! I love the little carry bag for the cards cards blocks. Keeps everything together for traveling and clean up! Sturdy pieces that will last!!!
As a homeschooler of a 7 year old, we enjoyed this. He’s now interested in starting to read words, so this is perfect as he can copy words from books using these blocks. I love the box it comes in for easy storage. Great for kids to learn on their own or with othersincluding older siblings.
I love the look and feel of this set. The colors are muted and the wood is gory and natural lookin. its been perfect for letter learning by matching with my 2 year toddler and she also uses her imagination with the block pieces by stacking them and turning them into other objects like cupcakes etc. We’ll def be using the set for future spelling/literacy activities! My daughter and I played the Spelling Game together. The game did not come with instructions. We made up our own rules. A little challenging in that you have to turn over multiple cubes to find the letters you need to spell the word. In some cases you have to use a cube already chosen because that cube has another required letter in the word. Solid wood construction, nice card stock and colorful.
We love this amazing learning game. Is excellent and the perfect game not just because it’s fun and makes her laugh but also it helps her learn more.
Great product! My both kids 4 and 7 years old love it!!! Two card stands, one to hide word and other to see them, make learning process so much easier. Large amount of cards with different length of word!
We actually really loved the game for our son. It’s made well (the wooden parts). The cards are great, too. One issue was there was a misspelled word on one of the cards. Other than that, it’s a great, educational game.
The spelling game came in a sturdy box and was well packaged. The wooden stand and the cubes were good quality too. This is a helpful resource for little kids to learn spellings of basic English words.
Such a great product for homeschooling! Well made wood base & letter dice with sturdy cards. I love the colorful art on the word cards, and that the letter dice have lines underneath tricky letters to show which way is up. Fantastic set for the price.
