This is a very strong “Sun Shade Sail Fixing Kit” and looks very resistant to me.
The quality is good and is simple to place, I think is going to be durable, I recommend it.

I was looking for a better solution for mounting my shade sail as I was currently using just a basic screw hook in the fence post and rope which worked but had the downsides of either being too tight and taking it down was a struggle or a bit too loose and would flap a bit too much, but now I have it mounted with the snap hooks onto the pad eyes allowing me to tighten and loosen at will.

Sometimes in kits you don’t get the best quality of goods, often brittle and poorly finished but these all feel pretty decent and feel like they can take the strain of a good windy day and the cold wet English weather.

A great kit for mounting your shade sail only thing it needs is some sort or cable for reaching a mount a bit too far away.

This set of essential equipment to secure a sun sail shade comes in a plain brown box with minimal packaging, as always with amazon prime, delivered the next day in perfect condition.
We have a couple of sun sail shades that we use, which is how we first found out about these kits!
AS it happens this kit was used to fix up a 2.5mtr square sun sail shade and it is perfect, you get four eyes to fix to your walls (Ideally) or as I have two to a fence, 2 carabiner clips and two turnbuckles all made in a good quality stainless steel, with all the screws and rawplugs you need to put them up.
After our neighbours second gazebo flew away in high winds we got another set of these to fix our heavy but frighteningly expensive gazebo down as well and we have not had any issues at all.
If you have good solid fixing points you can use the turnbuckles to get your sail as hard as you like giving you the ultimate weather protection that doesn’t flap round at all.
I think these are super value and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, I am on my third set!
Happy to help, or at least try! Have a nice day!

This is an excellent and very well priced comprehensive kit for fixing a garden sail or canvas awning for your garden. I was surprised by the full set of fittings which are provided and also that these are labelled as stainless steel (excellent).

There are sufficient fittings to fit a square or rectangular canvas and obviously means that it will also work with triangular sails.

So what do you get in the kit? 4 solid brackets each with a ‘D’ loop, rawl plugs and screws for fitting to walls or posts, 2 x carbineer snap fittings, to connect the canvas corners to the brackets and a pair of long and adjustable hooks which are simple twist / turn for tensioning the canvas. These each have around at least 8 to 9 cms of adjustment and are easy to fit. If your garden is exposed / windy it may be worth substituting the screw and rawl plug fitting with possibly longer more heavy duty ones.

An excellent comprehensive kit and even more excellent value for money.

I picked up this little fixing kit so that I have everything ready to install a triangular sun shade sail, once I have finished extending our small patio.

The kit feels really solid — I was expecting the pad eyes to feel a bit tinny, but they are surprisingly well put together. The pad eyes have a backing plate that measures approximately 6.5cm x 4cm and are diamond shaped with 4 screw holes for mounting and the D ring is a decent thickness.

The turn buckles feel nice and strong and have an M6 thread. They measure approximately 14.2cm in length when fully closed and expand to around 21cm, which should let you add a good amount of tension to the sail.

Finally, you get 2 x 6cm steel snap-gate karabiners for quick connection/disconnection of the shade.

    ***** In The Box *****

    4 x Pad Eye
    2 x Turn Buckle
    2 x Karabiner
16 x Screws and Wall Fixings

    ***** Conclusion *****

Although I haven’t used this kit to install our sun shade yet, I am really pleased with the quality of the product. All of the pieces seem to be of good quality and are made from 304 Stainless Steel, so should come well with the British weather and last well outside.
The turn buckles turn nice and smoothly, so should make it easy to add tension and the karabiners have a nice strong spring to their gate.

For less than 10, I think this kit offers really good value for money and is definitely worth considering if you are in the market for such a product.

This a great set of fixings for my outdoor sail sunshade. Good quality stainless steel so should hold up well with the weather although, I will only be leaving the wall fixings out in any weather as everything else will be taken down.

The carabiners and the hook fixings feel strong and smooth in use and the turnbuckle fixing has a decent amount of adjustability so it should fit most settings quite well.

The only downside to this kit in my view are the wall fixings, I’ve switched these out for something much more heavy duty as the ones in the kit are too lightweight for my liking with the wind we get around my way.

Kit is made up of stainless steel parts that have been properly manufactured. Quality parts. The turnbuckles
are not long which meant I had to be careful with the length of cord I used. I used this to fix a sunshade over the boom of my small yacht.

My husband has used this set to put an awning on our summerhouse. It has made such a difference and has given us some shade when it is too hot.
It was easy to fit and has screws supplied. There are two tension pieces to help you adjust the final tension or I suppose if it goes baggy after it has weathered. Really pleased with this set and would recommend.

A great set of hardware for attaching your sun shade/sail. Quality is great on all parts.
Made from 304 stainless so you don’t have to worry about weathering. The adjustable turn buckles are a great for adjusting tension on your shade.

This pack comes with everything you need to hang a sun sail shade. It comes with 2 turnbuckles, 4 pad eyes, 2 snap hooks, 16 screws and 16 wall plugs, all of which seem of decent strong quality.

I’ll be using them to hang a metal wire cable across my patio for lights, for which they should do the job well. If there are any issues, I’ll update this review, but I’m fully expecting everything to hold up and work as expected.

    5 stars.

This isn’t a bad kit, considering it’s stainless and won’t show effects of the weather.

The loop pads are well made and using the supplied fixings they really do hold firm, in wood or concrete. The M6 turnbuckles don’t have lots of play in the thread (unlike some I’ve tried) and turn smoothly. They are easy to get a really taut line on a shade. You don’t get as much adjustment as M8 turnbuckles which are generally longer, but still over 2″.

The carabiners are tough too, only with slightly sharp edges on the jaws, so some care needed when clipping to ring ties on a sheet, or when threading rope through them.

Overall it’s a sturdy kit that’s well made and perfect for a variety of jobs.

    Stainless, weatherproof and strong.

Having recently obtained a rectangular sun shade sail for my garden I needed a way of securing it so the wind isn’t able to whip up underneath it and blow it away. This fixing kit did just the job with 4 pad eyes, 2 turn-buckles, 2 snap hooks and 16 each screws and wall plugs.
Having a low level wash line that the sail sat over down the middle I needed to fix the sail on all 4 corners. With already having a big screw eye fixed on one wall the turn-buckle was ideal for hooking the sail onto this eye. After fixing a pad eye onto another wall this was ideal for using one of the snap hooks to secure the sail but I was a little surprised to find a sharp point on it when I pushed the sprung arm in and went to hook it over the loop, you just need to be aware of this and take some care when putting it on/removing the snap hook.
