Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersIt was a bit of a bitch to assemble because the fabric was very tight. Once it was fully assembled, however, it was fantastic. Great quality and easy to clean, I recommend a mat on top of the canvas for warmth. Not sure how comfortable it is because I haven’t slept in the dog bed since I gave up drinking some years ago. The dogs seem to like it and my puppy hasn’t chewed it so I’d definitely vouch for the chew proof claim made by the manufacturer.

Used daily by two boxer dogs (only meant for one dog but they prefer to share!)
They have destroyed loads of beds but not even attempted to chew this one – the metal edge prevents chewing. Fab product. Bit pricey compared to others but worth it with it being chew proof

This seems to be a well put together product. The quality is good and my service dog seems to love it. I use this product at work at it is a large. Plenty of room for my Lab to dream big dreams.

Not sure if its chew proof yet bur we’ll see. I wish they had a cover for this that can be replaced as it took me quiet a while to assemble it all. Worth the effort since my pup is comfy but I am so not looking forward to the time i got to clean it.

We absolutely love this for our growing pup! He hasn’t chewed it up or done anything to try to destroy it. It’s the best investment we have made for a bed for him, and the best part is he absolutely loves it to!

Strong and durable! Half the price of comparable cot!!! Our aussie thinks everything that we give him is his job to figure out the quickest most effective way to destroy. We’ve had this cot for several months now, and he’s still working at it with no success. We ordered the next size up since our dog likes to sprawl out like a bear rug.

My dog is a heavy chewer. Every fluffy bed we got was chewed to bits in a week or so. Then we found this bed, at half the price of most elevated beds.

A motivated chewer like our dog might chew the mesh of this bed, so we bought a new rubberized kitchen rug, plus a used blanket and towel at the thrift store. The dog chews the top layers instead of the mesh, which worked out great.

The bed does take some assembly, but it’s pretty easy.

An upgrade on a previous bed by same company. This one is much easier to build and she doesn’t chew the corners. I love that you get the full size of the bed and are not loosing space due to legs sticking out further than bed surface. Love this one. Very sturdy for my Bernese Mountain dog.

Was a little hard to get the fourth leg on without help from a second person. But I managed. My dog took to it immediately and sleeps on it soundly every night. I do not have to worry about picking up pieces in the morning as it does appear to be chew proof from him. I am very pleased with the product and think it was an investment well made.

It does its job. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback pup who loves to chew and destroys everything that she can get her paws on. This bed has held up well (been a few months now). Maybe she knows that it’s her bed, so I haven’t seen her chewing at it much, though did see her chewing occasionally.
The assembly was easy until I tried to do the last leg/corner. Like the instructions said, you will need multiple people helping you!

The mesh is rougher than I expected and I suspect it will take some time before I can get my to use it. I wish they had blankets or covers for the mesh as accessories if desired. My loves comfort.

With having four large dogs (GSDs & a MalamuteX), having extra dog beds is a bonus even though they still prefer the living room couch or the master bed. We have an enclosed outside deck where the dogs spend some of their daytime rest time and where they able to keep watch on the yard. We find the elevated dog beds give a nice cooling effect in warm weather. In cooler temps we place a dog pillow on top of them for extra warmth. This XL Veehoo elevated dog bed is well made and fits large 100 lb. dogs. It is sturdy and stable and dogs have no concerns getting off or on it. Mesh fabric is easy to wipe clean. Needs to be assembled and has quite a few parts and some need to be screwed together which adds to the overall strength. Can be used inside or out. Unit can be taken apart and top removed for extra washing (i.e muddy dogs or to remove skunk smell yes our dogs did get sprayed and decided to run to house after it happenednot the best time to have doggie doors!!). Recommended by our pack..the elevated bed and not the getting the attention of a skunk.

This cooling raised pet cot is a real help to those dogs that aren’t very heat tolerant. I have the XL which is good for dogs up to 150lbs. As it sits 9″ off the ground, it allows the air to circulate underneath and it is easy for our dog to get on it.

It weighs about 4 kg / almost 9 lbs so truly is portable to a beach or a BBQ or a cottage altho you will have to reassemble. Has non skid feet so good for indoor/outdoor.

Wipe down or hose off to clean.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis missed the mark for me, and I’m hoping they will do the right thing and offer replacement parts at no cost. The legs are all push-pin & release-post style, or what you would see with tri-pod speaker stands with the “nipple” that pins in place. Why? There aren’t any height adjustments to be made. I know exactly why, because it was cheaper to manufacture this push-pin & release-post for the 3-4 different leg heights, but keep the locking elbows all the same (clearly the most expensive design and manufacturing element). The result is a wobbling anxiety attack for my dog. I was wondering why he opted for his other older bed still (same exact style, but static leg posts) and as I started writing this review he climbed up onto this newer larger bed and as he was nesting in blankets it just WOBBLES all over and he nearly list his balance near the edge. This design element is cheap, and undisclosed in advance.

Also.. the “new non-slip feet” are anything but that. It’s just a plastic paw.. NOT rubber, but slippery ol’ plastic. So I suggest going with the K&H brand.

The devil is in the details..

Overall it is a good dog bed, but it is a little wobbly once assembled. For me it’s not a bother because it fits just right in the space I have it for when the dogs are outside and I’m not home. So no worry on the wobble part.

I got this Elevated Bed for my huge Maine Coon Cat and she absolutely LOVES it! She is getting older so I thought this would help to relieve some of the pressure off of her hips and joints but it is also great for keeping her cool in the summer. She loves to sit and lay on top of things so this bed is perfect because she is off the ground but doesn’t have to jump up too high.

It feels very sturdy, durable and is very well made so I can see it lasting a long time. The aluminum frame is extremely strong and the mesh feels tough, breathable and easy to clean. I love the cute little paw feet on the bottoms of the legs too.

I found that is was quite easy to assemble and I only struggled slightly with the last corner. It comes with an Allen key which is all you need to put it together.

Overall, I am thrilled with this bed (as is my cat) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well made, sturdy, easy to clean, elevated pet bed.

My dachshunds really love this bed. It was not too hard to put together. Just be sure to place the first 3 legs on loosely and then tighten all 4. It seems very durable. It is lightweight, which makes it nice for moving it around easily. I raise dachshunds. It has withstood some puppy chewing and dog digging(you know the kind they do when they’re getting their bed just right). My only regret is that I didn’t buy this a long time ago.

The pet bed is truly chew proof! It has an aluminum frame and a breathable mesh fabric. All the edges are tucked inside the metal frame, so there is nothing to chew.
The bed I got measures 32″L x 25″W x 7″H (81x64x18 cm). I know it says ‘dog bed’ but my cats love it too! The manual says it can hold a maximum weight of 150 pounds (68kg), no worries holding 2 cats. The instructions are very clear with all the tools and Allen key included (there were two extra bolts). Putting it together was easy enough except the last corner. I had my daughter help and it was done in seconds. The non slip feet are paw shaped and super cute. The bed sits about 7″ off the ground and it will be great outside on the deck when it gets hot. The mesh fabric is easy to clean using either a wet cloth, vacuum or hose.and allow to dry.

This dog bed is the perfect size for our smaller (small/medium) sized dog who weighs in at around twenty pounds. The structure is solid and the bedding is strong. The fabric is similar to that found on metal and plastic lawn chairs which means it is pretty sturdy.

To assemble there are two thin rods that are inserted into the end pockets of the fabric top. You then slid the end rails over them and attach to the leg posts that hold everything together. Assembly is easy but aligning the different parts, especially at the end requires some patience.

I like that it keeps the dogs off the ground and reduces them from being affected by land roving insects and to some degree the exposure to dirt and debris.

Helps to keep dogs from the ground and some insects

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersFantastic upgrade from our Collaroo beds for our 15 year old arthritic put mix & new GSP puppy!!! Durable steel sleek finish!! I really wasting too crazy buying initially as this is obviously a copy of the original Luranda design, but the Veehoo build is a “significant upgrade” to other brands, this worth consideringTIP = I wanted to upgrade the “plain feel of the vynl top surface. Since this brand does not offer a comply topper, I bough an alternative cot from vendor K&H pets. K&H has a “junky” knock-off version of this bed, but their fleece pad works well with the veehoo; perfect fit!!!

It’s a nice elevated dog bed. Nicely made with strong frame. I think it will sag after awhile since out pup is just 40 lbs and will get much bigger. DEFINITELY TAKES TWO PEOPLE FOR THE LAST PART. Getting the last leg attached takes two people.

I have had an issue with dog beds for my American bullies. They chew through beds & demolish the frames. With this bed I’ve yet to purchase another because they can’t get to the fabric. They may scratch the frame & fabric but so far they with stand the daily abuse! I was about to order the more expensive brand name bed but I’ve found one that I can trust!

This is a lot bigger then I thought it would be (I’m not good with measurements haha) however my dogs love it .. took a couple of days for them to realize they were allowed on it and it was for them. But now they think it’s great. Very sturdy and well made.. easy to put together and put up.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had 2 cots from another company and my dogs chewed holes in both. I’ve had this one for a while and they haven’t chewed a hole yet. I am actually buying another one since I liked it so much. It is a little more expensive than the others, but totally worth it since you only have to buy it once instead of continuously replacing the chewed up ones.

When I saw it, I liked the idea, using mesh to allow airflow that then keeps the pup from overheating. The pup, however, doesn’t find it very comfortable.

She will lay on it for short periods, but I thought that it could be her summer nighttime bed. She runs hot, so summer means that she shifts from one location to the other, looking for cool spots. A typical memory foam bed, while obviously comfortable, keeps too much heat in the area she’s lying. We have used one of the cooling pads on a foam bed, and it helped, but even that gets warm after a couple of hours, and so off she goes looking for cool spots.

We replaced her normal bed and then put this in the living room. She’ll go lay on it for maybe 15 minutes be for sliding off of it. Because it has some give, it must be more comfortable than a hard floor, so maybe she doesn’t care for the way its mesh feels?

Construction-wise, it’s well made. It wasn’t too difficult putting three of the corners together, but the fourth, well it almost made bad words happen. It requires a lot of prying of the two bar sections and then twisting it over and then quickly popping on the top cover. Putting the first three corners together combined took less time than the fourth corner. Once assembled and the bolts (small Allen wrench included) are tightened up, it’s a solid frame.

While our pup may not like it, I’m not taking any stars off for that reason. I know all too well that dogs are like people, and not everyone likes the same as the next. The construction is very good. Once assembled, it’s a solid frame that I expect will last a long time. The mesh (grey and black) looks good and does a good job of releasing hairs when vacuuming it.

Trying to keep our youngest Catahoula cool and comfortable while he spends times in the great outdoors has been an expensive, frustrating exercise in futility – UNTIL NOW! Last Summer, the hooligan chewed through four Coolaroo covers. The material is just SO inviting. With his head resting on the side of the coolaroo, he just starts gnawing on the cover and within an hour the entire cover has been chewed off the frame. Fortunately, a couple of months ago I stumbled across this awesome bed and decided I’d give it a try. Putting the thing together was a bitch, but once it’s together, the edge of the material is covered and the thing can’t be chewed off the frame! He loves it (and shares it with his older, more responsible brother) and it’s been holding up wonderfully. The only bad thing is that I don’t think there are replacement covers if something were to happen.

The “Veehoo Chew Proof Elevated Dog Bed – Cooling Raised Pet Cot – Rustless Aluminum Frame and Durable Textilene Mesh Fabric, Unique Designed No-Slip Feet for Indoor or Outdoor Use, Blue, X Large” is nice enough once assembled, though for our giant breed puppy, probably won’t last much past the 90lb mark for the dog. The legs are a bit less sturdy than expected for an XL size raised cot. The assembly was terrible, especially the last piece. The instructions aren’t the most help for what is printed. Once assembled however, it is ok. The feet aren’t rubberized, so they tend to slide on the floor if you have it on a hard surface.

This is a great dog bed. I ordered extra large because I have an extra large breed dog and large breed dog.
I was thinking this was a great solution for my older dog because she is struggling to climb up on to our couch or bed at night time.
    She is spoiled.
As it turns out my younger dog LOVES it.
So do my kids (that’s funny).
It is very sturdy and can definitely hold weight of at-least 100lbs.
It’s mesh made material is quite similar to a trampoline material if not the same.
It allows their sleep to be nice and cool, still elevated like a bed.
What I like most about it, is it’s elevation. I am able to vacuum underneath it. Also because my dogs are not resting their bones on the direct hard floor.
There is enough space to throw a pillow down on it with the dog having enough room to sprawl out.
It’s very sturdy. It has a great design, easy to assemble.
Has cute little dog feet for legs.
Worth every penny, spoil your fur babies.

    Very sturdy

I picked this dog bed up for my daughter’s new puppy. Once he grows in to it, I am sure it will be perfect for him! We both love the idea of it being raised off of the floor, giving it more of a real bed feel and making it easier for him to lower himself on to, especially once he gets a little older. It hasn’t been assembled yet (parts in a box makes it easier for her to transport to her home) but I have looked all the parts over, and studied how it is to be put together, and I feel confident it will be easy to assemble. It definitely seems to be made from durable, quality materials too. The mesh material feels very sturdy and seems as though it will ‘breathe’ well, and all of the metal parts feel solid and strong. Post puppyhood, I don’t expect the dog to be chewing on anything other than bones and toys (fingers crossed) but even if he is inclined to want to, there isn’t really anything on this bed that can be chewed except for maybe the mesh. But, because of how the bed is put together there wouldn’t be any angle to get at the mesh to chew on it, so that is not a worry. All in all, I am very pleased with this product. I will add photos once it is assembled.

So far so good. I bought two because I have two pitbulls. So far there has not been any sagging nor has the pups chewed or tore any holes. Easy for dogs to climb on/off and just right for relaxing.

I have a 1 year old Yorkie puppy that can chew like a Doberman. I tried all of the “indestructible” beds, and she chewed through them all. I came across this bed and thought I’d give it a try. She has had it for several weeks now and has been unable to chew it at all! Thank you for making a great sturdy product!!
Side note: She is not a “digger” so I cannot speak to its durability for diggers, but it is definitely nearly impossible to destroy by chewing.

Dogs love it. My voracious chewers haven’t hurt it. The main reason for the 4 stars vs 5, is that if it was just inch thinner It would fit in a crate

bed was a little smaller than I expected. ordered a medium but was actually a little too small for my medium sized catahoula. was difficult to assemble by myself. definitely a two person job. so far she has not chewed anything but the tag. I suggest putting the tag on the bottom of the bed or not one at all.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis bed is amazing. Our two rescue dogs chewed/ripped apart a total of 7 beds before we got this one. The pups seem to like it! And we don’t see any evidence of our dogs trying to destroy it. I highly recommend for durability, functionality, and cleaning ease.

Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersThis bed is serious support for our big boy!! We have had a couple of other elevated dog beds that don’t even come close to the quality of this one. If you are looking for a nice quality elevated dog bed that will actually support instead of sagging…this is the one!! For reference, our dog is 90 pounds and it supports him with zero issue!! Very pleased!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI received an incomplete order. I was worried I would have to take a loss as I did not receive much information within the package. I emailed company. They responded within a day. Handled it and I got a new bed within a week. All during the week before Christmas 2020. Assembly was fine. I was a bit nervous because – it clearly states that the last leg is difficult to attach. Online video suggests you get someone to help you. I did not need that. I turned the bed on its side , stood on the legs and pulled up toward the ceiling , You actually feel the bed go into place. I secured everything by myself. My dog destroys all of her beds. This one after three weeks is still intact and looks like it will last. Great product I would order again, but I don’t think I will have to, at least for a year. I cannot rate the comfort – my dog does use it though.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis Veehoo elevated bed is so easy to assembly, the instructions were very easy to understand and it took my husband less than 10 minutes to assemble

It is durable and lightweight, great to take it to a park or when you go on vacation on your RV.

The mesh fabric surface made to last, is excellent during summer time since the air flow under to keep my poodle cool. However right now I put a bed on top of it, since it gets cold at night and he doesn’t like blankets.

The frame is very sturdy made of coated aluminum to prevent rust. This bed is great if you have a bed shredder dog, he won’t we able to destroy this one.

I bought the large size so I could accommodate his other bed on top during winter season it measures 42″L x 30″W x 7″H.

Overall ultra comfortable bed ideal for use on various surfaces, indoors or outside with skid resistant feet for extra stability during movement and extremely easy to clean, you can either removed the fabric and put it in the washer or wash outside with a hose. Highly recommended.

Lightweight, durable frame and fabric, sturdy, elevated dog bed

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a legit DURABLE raised dog bed this is the one you need. No plastic pieces, it’s metal and put together with screws so you have the comfort of knowing this will last.

Assembly was way easier that I thought, I was able to put it together on my own even though the directions say you may need two people. I got it together in about 20 minutes by myself.

There’s no sagging in the fabric while my dog is on it, he weighs about 50 pounds.

Save yourself the disappointment of a plastic raised bed and get this one instead!

    The best quality dog bed
