Bought 4100SR.
Installed on a D shaped Durovit bowl.
Seemed to have good reviews so off I went.
I knew it was going to be a challenge as I (thanks to previous owner) have an internal cistern plastered in behind the wall with no access points and no visible connection points on the outside.
Not to be deterred I located/guesstimated the approx area of the cistern input and cut a hole in the plasterboard.
Next I needed to buy a longer 15mm pipe as the 300mm plastic one supplied was not long enough.
Replaced with a 500mm stainless braided pipe. Also not comfortable putting stress on plastic joints, particularly with compression rings so replaced the plastic Tee junction as well.
There was no shut off valve at the cistern so needed to turn off the mains.
Seat holes on the pan were too wide so bored 2 new ones through the porcelain toilet.
I then had to bore a hole through the toilet wall tiling to pass the pipe through to the cistern.
Long story short, after a lot of installation issues finally all connected and plugged in.
All working except the deodoriser seems to have packed up within a few minutes.

Vovo have been nothing short of fantastic helping me out. They are an object lesson in how a caring company helps you.
I wasn’t sure how the deodoriser works. When I first plugged it in I could hear a fan working but it was only the once then nothing. Now I’ve discovered that it does actually work (well I can hear a fan whirring away when I sit on the throne) but only if the the ‘save’ light is on and weirdly everything seems to work.
The fan is like the one you get in a computer and it draws air through a filter (which looks to be the carbon activated variety!).
Incidentally the UV light is not there to view your droppings but to sterilise the toilet bowl as nearly all microbes are destroyed by UV.
So top marks all round.
The wash functions are great and its a bit pervy but you have to try them all of course.
The dryer is a gentle warm breeze that does the job so don’t expect a Dyson turbo blast on you nethers!
The heated seat warms very rapidly just be careful you don’t put it on full! same goes for the water temp and dryer temp.
Footnote on the deodoriser, it does not work by default, you have press the fan button on the side of the unit. It is a bit troublesome as you have to press it juuusssst right! Not too much and not too little.
Every product can develop some issue with time once in a while but if it is backed up by unmatched Technical services and customer support who is willing to fix it, this is worth every penny spent. Vovo fulfilled these expectations to fix everything when a remote was not working better than expected even after 1 year of purchase. I have had many gadgets over the years and had a constraining experience recently where Roborock S7 plus was a complete failure who did not address anything within 2 months of genuine purchase; not sure how Xiaomi can maintain market share. Overall, this is a Great product as advertised, easy to install for upgrading existing setup and Vovo is a reliable company indeed to address any shortfalls if they occur. Thanks and keep up the good work!
The only downsides I have found are the remote control writing is too small to read without glasses, so I used a marker pen to add B, F, and D (back, front and dry) to the buttons. As someone noted, it is easy to knock the remote off its holder, so I also added a perspex wrap around cover, which has resolved this.

Having used many of these over the years, I was finally able to get one for use at home. British regulations make them difficult to get and install in a bathroom.
Overall it’s good. Comfortable, set warmer and water warmer work well. Warmed air could be a bit hotter I feel. The thing that makes the Japanese ones better is the water pressure. Even on the highest setting, it’s not very powerful. It still works, but it doesn’t seem to do as good a job as the Japanese models. If they were not 3x the price, I’d have got one of those.
The limitation may be the mains water pressure in my area, which is low. You aren’t allowed to pump water from the mains, so presumably the maximum pressure is the mains water pressure. Your area may be better.
Quand on franchi le pas du WC lavant il est trs difficile de s’en passer. Trs bon produit, entreprise srieuse, j’ai eu faire au SAV, trs efficace et professionnel. Je suis impressionn, et me demande si c’est la culture Corenne qui veut a. conseiller vivement !!!
Man sollte wissen, dass der Deckel des WC fr einen Aufputzsplkasten gedacht ist und somit bei Unterputzksten ca. 10cm vor der Wand bleibt und das Material des Deckel schon etwas dnn ausgefhrt ist – ansonsten SUPER TEIL!!!!
Wir nutzen den Aufsatz nun seit 2 Jahren und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Reinigung ist ein Segen, ich vermisse das immer, wenn man woanders ist. Die Trocknung ist eher ein Witz, aber dafr nutzt man dann halt einmal Toilettenpapier. Wie schon andere schrieben, bin ich froh, den Sitz gekauft zu haben, kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen und dann fragt man sich ggf. warum man das nicht schon frher gemacht hat.
Die Fernbedienung befindet sich gegenber von der Toilette (man guckt als drauf) und auch das funktioniert ohne Probleme.
After more than a year of usage i can wholeheartedly recommend this bidet.
Installation is easy to do by yourself with clear and concise instructions. I never changed a toilet seat and it took me 10 minutes to install. It has a great system where you install the bracket and just slide the seat itself on it, it locks automatically in place. It also makes it easy to take off in a second for cleaning with no tools required.
The seat itself is sturdy, there’s no bending and it feels really nice. It is a little smaller than european standard seats, but as an average guy I have no problem with it’s size. Only thing you see there’s some price cutting is the seat cover, which looks nice enough and closes softly but is made of thinner plastic and they warn you not to put weight on it. For the price, that’s a more than reasonable tradeoff.
There are basic buttons on the side of the bidet, but you’ll use it with a remote which is fantastic. Feels nice, provides all the information you need in a very clear manner so even people who didn’t use something like that before will have no problem using it.
If you used a bidet seat before you know why you’re here. If you haven’t and you’re wondering if it’s really worth it, I’ll just say once you try it there’s no turning back. I used it in Japan more than a decade ago, swore to buy something like that if I ever own my own place. And so it was, once I signed the papers this was the very first thing I bought for my new home. Wife was very skeptical, but now she can’t live without it. Be warned, vacationing will not be the same. No matter how nice it is we always yearn for our bidet seat.
In conclusion, it’s a fantastic piece of kit for a great price. What makes it even better is outstanding customer service, one of the best I ever encountered, so if you have questions or any problems you know you’re covered.
Das VOVO VB-6100SR Electronic Smart Bidet stellt eine gelungene Alternative zu unserem frheren elektronischen Bidet dar, dessen Sitz leider gebrochen war. Wir schtzten die Leistung des vorherigen Bidets sehr und suchten daher nach einer Option in derselben Preiskategorie. Die Installation dieses Aufsatzes gestaltete sich gewohnt unkompliziert. Ein deutlicher Vorteil dieser Art von Aufsatz ist die Einsparung von Toilettenpapier bei gleichbleibender Hygiene und Sauberkeit. Generell gibt es am VOVO-Aufsatz wenig auszusetzen. Einzig die Luftstrmung im Trocknungsmodus ist etwas steil ausgerichtet und lsst sich nicht regulieren, was an auf die Dauer zu einem intensiveren heien Luftzug auf einen fokusierten Teil der Haut fhrt. Daher sollte man die Temperatur der Trocknungsluft nicht zu hoch einstellen.
Dies ist jedoch das einzige Detail, das als kleiner Kritikpunkt anzumerken wre. Insgesamt bin ich uerst zufrieden mit diesem Aufsatz und kann ihn ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.
So, first of all – take your measurements. A bidet that doesn’t fit is not helping you. That happened to a friend and I didn’t measure either, I just assumed a toilet is a toilet. I was in luck however and it fit. Good water pressure, nice heat (and even with heat off the heated tank gives some heat). All in all a great product, I have no complaints whatsoever. Oh, and it comes with most things needed for a standard installation, I however needed to refit a new electrical cable to have it reach long enough for legal requirements in my country. That’s also easy enough if you are handy enough to fit the seat from the beginning. 5 out of 5

Haben uns andere Abstandshalter gekauft ,aber auch diese passen nicht in die vorhandenen und auch daneben machen sie keinen Sinn. Schade bei einem so teurem Teil habe ich erwartet das alles passt. Wir haben uns sogar eine neue Kloschssel gekauft weil unsere alte hinten eine hhere Kante hatte ,das wre bei dem Sitz auch nicht gegangen. Auf dem Foto sieht man das der Sitz dadurch in der Luft hng
This was quickly fitted by a professional, although for someone who is handy, it could possibly be a DIY job. It looks elegant and substantial, but more importantly does its job really well. It is especially useful to us since we have a family member who has mobility problems and this is really helpful, restoring some dignity to personal care. The rest of the family like it too, though !
El producto es de calidad, funciona correctamente, el aire es como dicen una brisa suave pero el chorro de agua no sirve para limpiar por completo.
Es imprescindible usar papel higinico antes, despus servira como alternativa al bid en aquellos baos en los que no haya sitio para colocar uno.

I was very surprised on how easy it is to install. I was able to install it within 30 mins! The functions and remotes are very self explanatory. All wash, uv light and dryer functions work fine as i needed. 100% would recommend and planning to buy more for my other bathrooms.
So after turning off the water in the house and draining the cistern and water in the system. Went to remove the existing pipe to fit the T junction.
Fitting the rest is simple as following the instructions and getting the old seat out (which needed some persuasion).
The heated seat is lovely. I wish the spray was a little bit more powerful but understand there are legal limits on the force.
The dryer could be improved, more powerful, and maybe choosing the locale, same as the nozzle.
Main function – cleaning is a godsend and feels like having a seat like this is you are part of the 21st century and no longer need to smear feaces with paper, with your hand!
Would buy it again if I got another toilet!

Great bidet toilet seat. Once you have one, you wont go back. All features work great. FYI, the sensor needs to be activated in order to use wash functions. Customer service very helpful.
We debated about a smart toilet for age’s. Finally went for this as a compromise. Haven’t looked back. Love the adjustable hose and temp control. Love the heated seat and self cleaning. The air vents could be stronger but overall really pleased

I love my VOVO seat. Been using it for about a week now and really can’t fault it. So many options and temperature choices. I didn’t install it myself but was told it was fairly easy. Additional fittings were needed to make it fit but nothing too difficult.
I’ve always been curious about getting a bidet and reducing the amount of toilet paper I’ve used. After my old toilet seat broke I decided to try one out.
I love it, it takes a little getting used to and finding what angle/settings work for you but once you do it’s fantastic. I love the turbo wash with the higher pressure to really clean everything.
The only thing I use TP for now is drying off. The dry feature of this bidet isn’t that good, but it helps in combination with TP.
The Fan is good, deodoriser really works&Def worth paying that Bit more, water instant warm, pressure is fantastic, why anyone says it’s not??
No complaints, why anyone could? Packaging was brilliant, product was quality everything from the instructions(laminated) to the fittings.
It was easy, painfree(apart from my own pipework). Followed instructions, only I put metal lipped bracket wrong way up so seat moved. Turned other way &sturdy as our Bemis.
The fittings for this are good quality & better than other seats. They proved 2 different bracket fitting options, 1for normal loos,screw attachments& 1 for hidden loo,where can’t access bolt hole underneath. Where a plug in bracket included.
The only problem I had, was my pipework was rigid&angled,so I had too move the actual flusher in cistern, up out way to get the t attachment on. Then screw cistern flush attachment back.
Did take little while for my brain to think what to do with this. I did also stupidly try to remove the bottom main nut from pipe,(what idiot wondered y not coming away, glad it didn’t gulp)so please don’t touch your main pipe nuts etc..as if you would.
Anyway was all simple pipe to loo seat, plug in & way to go.
The lid is not rigid, but it’s strong, though I put pressure on it tightening the bolt behind the Pipework& the seat lid made a scary I’m going to break noise, lucky thankfully didn’t.
So no pressure on it please. As because it moves each side up down, it has play, it’s not going to support a solid mass on it.
I can’t see it breaking although at first I thought was really low quality and would it’s not really tbf
The seat is thick no probs there . The only thing is the hole to the bowl, where your wee etc goes, is rather small compared to UK loo seats. So it’s noticeable at first, and tad squashy, (I’m not huge, obese,but yes I am not a slinky either).
So everyone has noticed the smaller hole &men have noticed there private area nearly touching the bowl, 1 is is bless it’s nothing to do with the seat positioning, it’s perfect. But no one really complained about it not working for them.
I do at times struggle to get the water position right, so I’m not sure it’s really designed with us Brits in mind. But you get it to work for you, no problems. Though I get water sprayed on back seat a lot. And have had shoot out the front.
However it’s a life saver for 2 family members, with severe M.E. who went through hell& sheer exhaustion& time, trying to clean themselves. Made them crash a lot& loo 2 was a burden& misery..
Not anymore, it takes mins to get to the stage took hour+to reach, as they have to have breaks between wiping due to fatigue & exhaustion, from doing the loo& trying to clean.
So this is a godsend & also for member family, has problems with no 2, the turbo mode , got them from severe pain, to needing ambulance, thinking it’s kidneys,to sigh of relief, messy loo.
So this is extremely important for disabled people. It’s brilliant &so.are the sellers they are astounding service after care. Xxxx love love love love love. Xxx

Es una pasada se instala pronto y es muy cmoda,de momento llevamos poco tiempo con ella pero encantado,por sacarle una pega los acoples que traen para las tuberas de casa son de una medida distintas ala espaolas,pero se soluciona con poco dinero

Lo compre para una persona con dificultades de movilidad, ayuda mucho a la higiene. La duda es que tal se comportara con sitios de agua dura y a donde ir a arreglarlo el da que tenga una avera. Al final es un electrodomstico mas.
La instalacin en Espaa no es tan fcil como la pintan, pero con paciencia lo puede hacer uno mismo. Lo ideal es tener un enchufe cerca.

Il prodotto abbastanza curato e funziona perfettamente. Le dotazioni di installazione non sono per adeguate al mercato italiano. Raccorderia idraulica e fissaggi al vaso non sono compatibili con i nostri standard e bisogna quindi saperci fare un po per montarlo.
Le misure sono inoltre poco precise, consiglio di prestare molta attenzione alle dimenioni del vaso. La versine lunga troppo lunga e quella corta troppo corta per il vaso standard
It’s really really a great seat but unfortunately our remote does NOT work, the lights are on on the remote but it doesn’t do anything and i can’t get through to whoever sells it so we don’t have the full advantage of all the settings. Quite dissapointed.
Bisher funktioniert der Toilettensitz hervorragend. Das einzige Manko ist die Trocknerfunktion. Auf Grund der sich beim Betrieb ffnenden Klappe, erreicht die warme Luft, nicht die Stellen, die sie soll. Aber dafr gibt es eben das gute alte Toilettenpapier. Die Reinigung ist fr meine Begriffe ganz gut. Einzig die Anschlsse sind nicht mit den gngigen 1/2 Zoll schnell mal verbunden. Da muss der Baumarkt mit Adaptern aushelfen. Das Anschlusskabel ist leider auch etwas kurz geraten.
ber die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen, da sich der Sitz erst seit 3 Wochen in Nutzung befindet.
Bei meinem letzten Asienurlaub hatte ich das erste Mal die Mglichkeit einen bidet wc Sitz zu benutzen.

Now the device is working just fine. I am grateful for their help and happy with my purchase and I recommend this device as well!
Die Funktion der Dusche ist sehr gut die Regelung der Strahlstrke und der Temperatur ebenfalls. Jedoch der Fhn und das Licht sind eher von minderer Qualitt, auf diese Dinge htte ich aber auch verzichten knnen. Die glnzende Kunststoffoberflche knnte etwas kratzfester sein. Daher nur 4 Sterne fr die Qualitt.
zu allererst, das gert hatte einen defekt, also umtausch. und nun begann das dilemma mit transporteur, zoll usw es war ein absolutes chaos, wir bekamen das alte teil nicht zurck , so dass die firma das neue absenden konnte, letztendlich haben sie es auch so abgeschickt, und haben gesagt, behalte das andere einfach auch, als wiedergutmachung fr die sorgen und den aufwand.
das nenne ich service am kunden, abgesehen von diesem hunderte euro teuren geschenk, was es nicht brauchte, aber die firma hat sich dermassen ins zeug gelegt, hut ab. einfach unglaublich. gbe es sowas wie einen oscar fr firmen, diese wre fr mich nominiert.

After having this now for 6 months, I feel like writing a short review
This seat is great however the power of the water jet is not as powerful as my previous model so if your intention is to give yourself a daily colonic irrigation, forget it…. It does the job its supposed to however with no issues……
I have the remote attached to the wall via the supplier bracket which is actually magnetic….. You have to be careful not to ever knock or brush past it as it the magnet is the only thing holding the remote on…. Several times ive accidentally caught it and the remote fell away from the holder and smashed on the floor with the battery compartment lid, and batteries flying out in all directions….. I’m worried one of these days the remote will break after falling out…..They could easily solve this with a simple redesign of the holding bracket
You can’t connect this with the supplied fittings….. Luckily I was replacing my previous model so was able to reuse the components….. They don’t supply the 2 way water splitter which is essential…… You will also need to buy PTFE tape for the threads and depending on your toilet, you may need to buy metal washers as when installing the seat, the holes in my toilet were too big causing the supplied fitting to just fall through the hole….. Reducing the size of the hole with a metal washer worked perfect…..
This is actually a great seat once up and running and does the job its supposed to….. Was a lot more features than my old seat but admittedly a lot I don’t use…… The drying function is pretty much worthless….. Like my previous seat too, you’d have to sit there for 10 mins to dry your ass…. Not sure why they can’t much more substantial fans on these….. You may as well waft your ass with a piece of paper….
Probleme bei der Montage
Schrauben zu kurz, Ventil Anschlu 3/8 bei Deckel 1/2 Zoll musste Reduktion besorgen. Sonst sind wir sehr zufrieden.
Connecting it is really annoying, because of the non EU standard pipe included, but that much was expected from the comments before me.
Otherwise excellent communication from the seller, and excellent product.
Der Dusch WC Aufsatz funktioniert tadellos. Einziges Manko ist der Toilettendeckel der absolut billig wirkt und instabil ist, deswegen Punktabzug.
We have been using it for 5 months. I’m using it every time with nicely warmed water and warmed air 😀
We haven’t needed the seat heater yet, but with winter coming I may switch it on soon (I tried it once and it was working fine).
I was worried about the low jet pressure mentioned in several reviews, but if anything it’s too powerful even on the lowest setting, so I guess it depends on your input water pressure and some day I’ll just add a little valve to reduce the pressure.
Ich habe zum ersten Mal ein Bidet benutzt, daher wusste ich nicht, welches ich whlen sollte, also habe ich zuerst die Beschreibung gelesen. Es wurde akribisch sehr gut erklrt und obwohl es in Korea hergestellt wurde, wurde es auf Deutsch gut erklrt. Ich habe es gekauft, weil ich es geglaubt habe.
Als ich es zum ersten Mal erhielt, mochte ich das Produktdesign, weil es hbsch war. Und meiner Frau hat es auch gefallen. Es funktioniert sehr gut und die Fernbedienung ist bequem zu bedienen.
I really like the Japanese toilet seat! The plastic itself is a bit too flexible for my liking, I would have preferred a more luxurious feel. But the variety of features definitely make up for the lack of plastic quality.
We had a remodel of our toilet, so connecting it was no issue whatsoever. It is now connected to a faucet so in case of a malfunction we can simply disconnect it.
We love the heated seat, the water pressure is great and the nozzle position can be adjusted. I was a bit worried that the water wouldn’t heat up quick enough but it’s instantly heated.
All in all a great Japanese toilet seat for a great price!
Preis- Leistung ist prima. Der Austausch von Geberit auf Vovo ist nicht einfach mglich. Hierzu muss im Baumarkt erst ein Reduzierstck fr unsere gngigen Eckventile besorgt werden. Es wre auch schn, wenn der Wasserdruck hher einstellbar wre. Die Tastatur an der Seite ist etwas gewhnungsbedrftig.
My apartment is a living hell when it comes to connecting anything, but the size nuts on the hose provided are ginormous. Went to fitting hell to get it work (still have a small leak on 1 fitting). if you have a size 10-15mm tubing you’re in for a treat.
I have had issues with the tank not wanting to fill, it may take a couple of power cycles to fill up if the flow is too low. if the tank is about half full you can start testing the self cleaning function. with a full-ish tank you can start using the actual bidet functions by leaning on to the seat (just block the outgoing stream with your hand or sum).
The seat on the small round one is plastic-y but sizable, you can actually sit on it unlike some i tested. think if you’re sub 175cm you should be fine sitting normally. above I’d recommend sitting backwards pushing against the lid to sit comfortable first. Then you’ll gradually sit more relaxed leisurely in the coming days/weeks.
Anyway if you think you have a small seat now, I wouldn’t recommend you getting any powered bidet. Since the tank and equipment will eat up space. However, this bidet seems to be the most balanced one at this price-point. Where the tank is good enough and the seat is actually usable.
Update, customer service for vovo is top. They arranged for another item to be sent out straight away from Korea which arrived after a few days. They then arranged for the faulty item to be collected and returned to Korea. The new seat is now working perfectly as it should be. Thanks vovo

Eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung wre allerdings sehr wnschenswert.

This one is cheaper than my last one made in Germany. Compared to the ones I have used, the quality reflects the price.
It’s not very easy to install as you need find the suitable pipe fittings.
But it’s functional and not expensive. Still recommend it.

Ojo con el tipo de inodoro al que se va incorporar, nosotros no hemos podido acoplarla a un GAP de roca, mejor el TEKA, por si ayuda.

I got this toilet seat as a present. First of all, I approached VOVO for the delivery dates and they were very responsive and approachable, they manage to fulfill my request even better than expected!
The toilet seat quality is perfect! The plastic is great, feels very good and is very white, the functionality works perfectly and as expected. I’m even impressed how so many great functions can fit such a slim and good looking toilet seat!
The montage was not as easy for me, as described in the picture, as the main water pipe was in the toilet flush box, it was mounted decades ago and I didn’t want to touch so much + the output for the water was smaller. But it was easily solved by going to the local OBI and getting a couple of converters and a longer hose(you can see it in the picture going from the flush box) that together costed me a bit over 10EUR. If you’re not confident in the installation, believe me, any specialist will be able to install it within an hour.

I saw one review complaining about lack of service after 1 year and the guarantee having run out , I think you will find there is a 2 year warranty on the VOVO units , I can only suggest you reread your paperwork before complaining

Been wanting one of these since a trip to Japan years ago. Easy to install except for adding a power supply in the bathroom (not code in the UK). Solved by putting a waterproof fused cord outlet behind it. Had to replace the concealed cistern, so the plumbing extra was minimal. Added a faucet to the wall to attach to the seat. Dryer could use some extra power IMHO.

It has a soft close which wasn’t listed. It fits my slightly awkward toilet. It washes mi bum and heats the water.
It’s like being back in Japan.

This product is first class. Good instructions and the seat fitted within minutes Customer service Is second to none. We had a problem with our water pipes and we were contacted with help by return. The problem was to do with our old pipes and not to do with the seat. Thoroughly recommended
In use it’s great, the water is plenty warm enough, and either the motor is very quiet or it’s running of mains pressure, but the pressure is great for me. Drying is ok, but I do with paper because it’s faster. We’ll see how durable it is as time goes by.

Spent some time selecting the correct seat to fit our particular toilet shape and comes with a template to help with fitting in the best position. Made in South Korea and manufactured to a very high standard (unlike many Chinese products these days). Works very well with the remote control and very pleased with my purchase.
Easy to install though be careful running power in the bathroom. The unit itself works well and my disabled wife finds it really good as did I. Wish I got one earlier. As they say you wouldn’t wipe feaces off your hands with tissue if you could wash it off.
This is extremely easy to plumb in. Not sure why it comes with a UK plug as that isn’t allowed in bathrooms, but the cable is long, so just cut it off if necessary. It did develop a small leak from the body after a few weeks. I contacted the seller and was offered a new one immediately. Completely hassle free. I would definitely buy this again knowing that there is such fantastic backup. And the bidet has made a big difference to her quality of life.
Great value for money, only reason I give it 4 stars is due to the pressure not being as strong as I’d hope. It’s pretty small/weak compared to a toto, but gets the job done. Also, installation is not easy in the uk/Ireland
I also like the fact that the jets are retracted and hidden until you use them, so they don’t get contaminated.
It was easy to fit as a DIY task – there were some issues there but VOVO were very responsive and sorted them out…
Firstly the plumbing kit supplied with it was for 22mm piping and most loos in the UK and Europe at piped in 15mm fittings. The very next day an additional parcel arrived containing the correct 15mm piping without me even needing to point this out. One of the seat fastenings was missing; I reported this and cannibalised a piece from the seat that I was replacing so that I could complete the fitting. VOVO responded immediately and shipped the entire set of fittings again – when they arrived then I switched the missing piece back in again as the VOVO ones are more sturdy than those on my previous seat.
Once fitted the seat has a quick release button so that you can easily remove it for cleaning purposes. It is piped with flexible piping so that is quite practical to do.
I find it a pleasure to use. Although it was far more expensive than changing my loo for a combined bidet/loo, I find this a much better solution all round and would recommend it.
The only hesitation I had before ordering it was that when you size up which seat to order the sizing information doesn’t say how far apart the bolt holes must be for it to fit. I started my search with a competitor product and they did specify the distance range of the bolt holes and their seat definitely would not fit my loo. The VOVO seat gave me all of the dimensions except the bolt holes so I had no choice by to order it and hope it would fit. As it happens the design of the mounting bracket is such that it caters for a very wide range of bolt hole positions – so no problem.
Installation was surprisingly easy – it just tees into your normal cistern connection for plumbing, and the mounting bracket gives a good amount of adjustment. Do make sure you get the right size. You will need an electrical socket or wiring point near your loo, please talk to a qualified electrician if you need advice on that.
The quality is excellent, with a great range of functions. Each of these is adjustable; e.g there are 5 levels of water pressure and 3 levels of temperature. You can also adjust the position of the nozzle via the controller, so easy for households to change setting to suit individual. It does everything you could possibly want; cleaning, deodorising, drying, heated seat.
The controller is clearly labelled and easy to use. It comes with a magnetic mounting bracket that can be fixed to your wall for convenience.
Since these are a relatively new thing in the uk it’s worth pointing out that they really do work. You probably still want some loo roll handy, but you’ll use far less. This seat specifically also does a great job of keeping the nozzle clean – it will self clean automatically when it retracts, though you can extend it fully (as in pic) if you want to do a more thorough job. So no hygiene concerns.
The quality seems excellent, though obviously I haven’t had it long. It’s made in Korea, home of Samsung, Hyundai, LG etc so you can expect high standards of manufacture. All the instructions and buttons are in clear English. You are also ordering direct from the manufacturer, so expect the best prices and service.
Overall great product, highly recommended. A fully functional seat without having to spend a fortune on a new loo.
Also please do not judge my bathroom, I am in the process of redecorating!
2024: an addition. I had some issues with nozzle alignment. Thought to myself ‘oh dear, usual combination of electronics, impossible servicing and warranties’. Nope. VOVO have really comprehensive repair PDFs on their website. Expected an afternoon of attempted fixes, accidental leaks etc, ended up taking 20 mins or so. For safety/liability suggest that any servicing be carried out by a qualified electrician.
