Installation Tips
-Select the wireless network with a signal strength greater than 70% to get the most reliable connection.

Great signal from 100 meters away
Fixes to an ariel mast on roof, this enables use to get wifi over approximately 4 acres around the house, say 100 meters away.
Very good range
I bought this to provide a wifi signal over a 5000m2 gite complex in France.
There is a good/useable signal for the 2.4 throughout the area, but a much lower range for the 5, which I expected from previous knowledge and by reading other people’s experiences.
The setup could have been a lot clearer, so it took me 3 attempts to get what I needed. I placed the unit about 20 feet up on a barn, which is more or less central on the land and the signal is what I’d hoped for.
I removed a star due to the faffing about which was necessary to get it working. Time will tell about reliability
WiFi everywhere !!!!
Recommended by a friend because I needed to get a WiFi signal to the garage / summerhouse down at the end of the garden (40 meters).
Put high up on the side of the house and have an excellent signal in both locations. Easy to install and set up. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Installed the outdoor booster as my virgin router has terrible range. I’m converting my garage into an office at the end of my garden.
Worked seamlessly with an enthernet cable wired to it and now I can get good signal and speed in the garage as required. Just make sure you give it a password other wise anyone can connect.
Time will tell if it lasts but so far, so good.
Poor Instructions
I finally got this thing to work. Not exactly to my liking as I like to have different passwords for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz connection. This isn’t possible. Only one password for both. What if you want to limit some users to 2.4GHz and keep the 5GHz for other stuff? The instructions are total junk. Searching the internet for info or videos wasn’t simple or clear-cut. You do need to set it up via the app (see instructions), but it’s trial and error as the info on this is also incorrect. Will need to do more tests in the morning. Item otherwise seems OK. Shame about the info. All I wanted to do was to connect this to my router and site it outside to extend the WiFi range. Not complicated but the instructions made life a confusion.
I was sceptical about this repeater but it seems to work Ok.
This repeater/extender was installed on a tree at the bottom of our garden about 15 metres from our conservatory (where we have another wifi extender). It picks up 75% of the signal from our conservatory and transmits that an other 20 metres to our summerhouse. This seems to work Ok. We have only had to reboot it on a couple of occasions so far – probably due to a power cut and loss of main signal temporarily.
Very good signal, easy to use, would buy again if I needed anothe
Whilst I am out in the sticks a bit a neighbour has lots of wifi connected stuff so I thought there might be a problem but no. This gives a good strong signal at least 50 metres away and probably more like 100m in clear conditions (no trees). Only problem is trying to find documentation for it online. Make sure you set it up with a password and you are ready to good. Highly recommended bit of kit.

Solved a problem and filled a coverage gap
Works a treat for my WiFi enabled outdoor lights, as they are 2.4ghz and my netgear mesh WiFi didn’t reach all the lights.
I Brought this for my Brothers Farm. I was in Travel Quarantine there in a Caravan with very poor WiFi from the main house, due to 21″ thick Stone Walls. So I Paid my rent in purchasing this for him.
Super Easy to install, set it up on a LAN cable and then its literally Plug and Play. The Range is easily 200m across the top field (Note he installed it high on the gable end of the house). Certainly going to purchase one for my own house now I have seen its effectiveness.
Totally recommend this product.

Simple to Install

Set up instructions not totally clea
For someone who is pretty used to tech, i struggled to figure out how to get this working, once i got it, through trial and error, it was easy. the power has to on at all times, even if you plug the power in, in the house, then use Cat5 cable to the unit.

Use this product as an access point to get wi-fi signal outside of the house as modern dry lining with reflective lining limits the internal signal to a couple of metres from the house.

This outdoor wifi hub works great for the cameras I’ve got installed in the lambing sheds, which means the ewes get on with it without disturbance and I only attend when I need to intervene

I have put the Wavlink in my conservatory a a couple of months ago and it is working fine. No issues so far. Setup is standard and straight forward.
Strong signals
Have it set as a repeater for garden. So far it’s working very well. Down the bottom of garden around 100ft direct line of sight getting 50mb speeds. Have virgin home hub inside house.
Setup is easy using the app, lots of features for 2.4 and 5ghz.
Although a ethernet poe cable is provided it wasn’t long enough for my I brought a 10 metre cat7 so I could have the antenna mounted outside and the control box inside.

This is the third one I have setup all three are brilliant. One reaches over 100m to the front gate where it supports HD streaming from a security camera while supporting 5 others at almost similar distances.
Great Product.
I bought this to get wifi into our garden and paddock. Also we have three flood light ring cameras and all suffered from poor wifi as the signal from the router doesn’t extend well to the camera locations. Installation took me 30 minutes, clear instructions so is easy to follow. Set up and configuration were easy. Within 45 minutes, we had excellent wifi cover and we no longer have any issues with ring camera. And get great wifi cover throughout the garden. Great product.
Easy to set up, worked straight out of the box and excellent signal
Purchased the Access Point to improve the signal to my garden office, some 25 metres away from the house. I had previously been using a TP link product and could only achieve 10-15 Mbs at best (and often less) from a 73 Mbs in the house. I have a 25m ethernet cable run from the BT router to the access point and then a further 25m to the Garden Office. The product was very easy to set up (aided by the videos on Youtube) and I am now getting 50-60 Mbs in the Garden Office.

Great bit of kit. I used it to extend my wifi into the garden so that my security cameras could get a signal.
Following on from moving my office down the bottom of the garden, i was having issues getting a stable wifi connection, i have since figured out that was due to poor signal down there as i was way too far away from my router.
Queue the miracle cure that is the WAVLINK AC1200 Access point. It’s basically plug and play on this one, really simple setup, i have existing Wavlink equipment and this just adds straight onto it really easily. I now have a stable setup in the bottom of my garden.
It does look a little like someone put a tiny little 4G antenna in the back garden, but that’s fine by me as i’ve hidden it up by the flat roof so it’s hardly noticeable at all.
Works as advertised, easy to set up
Bought to extend WiFi from the home router to a garden annexe around 80ft away. Worked perfectly and set up was very easy. There is also a handy youtube tutorial for the set up if you search the product name on the site. Would recommend. Am waiting to see how the weatherproofing copes over harsh winter weather.
Works best without any walls
Used this antenna to get internet on a house across the street, and while the speeds were not great, around 20mbps (my isp speed is 200mpbs download) it’s also not exactly it’s intended use, so I was quite happy I managed to get internet at all there. All in all its best used for a open space without any walls.
