Feels really nice in the hand.
Amazing, perfect size great colouring, easy to charge and connect.
Item looks exactly as it does in the picture. My daughter and husband are very happy about it.
Well made and I would highly recommend this controller for the Nintendo Switch.

Feels really nice in the hand

Great upgrade on Joy-cons in my opinion. Fits in my hand like a PS5 controller does and it is grippy, and so easy to hold for a long amount of time. Good press on the buttons and the charge holds well for it. A great alternative to Joy-cons which start to have a known issue with drifting, after some months of usage.

What I love is that this has decent levels of vibration as well. A turbo button is included which makes things easier when playing FPS games. Additional button for screenshotting gameplay is also included. Lastly, it has two buttons on the back of it which can be programmed and serve as a shortcut and allow you to be more responsive in games as these can be used with your fingers that hold the controller… meaning that you don’t have to remove your thumbs from the thumb-sticks or other buttons.

    Great quality

Great alternative to the Switch Pro controller. Much more affordable yet still comfortable to hold and easy to use.
The shell feels a tad plasticky but has plenty of padding and grips to make it feel nice on hand.
It has some additional buttons on the back too (large pad/triggers), these can be useful on some games.
The pairing is easy too. Just plug the controller onto the Dock station, turn it on and then it is paired and ready to go.

This Zexrow wireless controller is a alternative controller option for the Switch. I think it is as good as the official Nintendo Switch controller but is a lot cheaper. All the controls work well and the haptic vibration feedback is effective and accurate. This is a good value alternative controller for your Switch.

    Well designed ergonomic Switch controlle

    As described and as advertised.

This third party controller tested fine on our Nintendo Switch. No issues with controls, gameplay, vibration and overall gaming enjoyment.

Good weight and comfortable to hold and use.

Good battery life (~8 hours) and charge rate (~3 hours).

Good as a spare controller – wouldn’t be first choice controller as we actually like the official Nintendo Joycons but not everyone likes them and might prefer these larger chunkier controllers.

It has good ergonomics, good confort, my hands do not feel tired after each game.

The battery life depends on the usage.

An active day of playing both in the morning and afternoon, I will need to charge it at the end of the day.

If I only play a few hours 3-4 for the entire day I will need to charge it after 3 or 4 days.

Also, it is made of good quality, I have dropped it on a hard wood floors and nothing happens to it.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought this Nintendo Controller because I didn’t like Nintendo’s Controller. I can play like a Controller with small plug-ins next to the screen, but it bothers me a lot and I get bored.

As soon as I bought this product, I immediately checked it out. All its features and quality were satisfactory and I love this Controller ever since.

I can say that this product exceeded my expectations. They have photos that look so great, I know that. But I bought some very handsome Controllers like this and they were all useless.

But this Controller is a great alternative to the expensive Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and for half the price, you can’t go wrong. The controller .is very comfortable, nice looking (so handsome) and a must-have in games like Broforce (and many other multiplayer action/adventure games).

The battery life is great (I haven’t charged it since the day I bought it and I play 4-5 hours a day and sometimes it stays on for hours because I fall asleep), the analog sticks and buttons are perfectly responsive, the vibration is extremely good and the motion specs are on par with other more expensive controllers on the market . (I can say this because I use it)

The only slight issue I’ve had with this controller is that when not in use it automatically shuts down to save power and needs to be reconnected to the console. Actually that’s not a problem, it’s a great feature. But when I sit on the seat and take the controller in my hand, I have to turn it back on. The moment I press the button it turns on and it only takes 3-5 seconds to reconnect.

This is great, cost effective and a very light issue for a professional controller. I highly recommend this controller to Switch owners.

A product equivalent to the original quality

A good controller that works really well. It connects just like any other, and isn’t heavy at all.

It’s a nice size and shape making it comfortable to hold. The handles are very grippy, which I really like.

This is a great alternative to the far more expensive pro controller and more than half the price.
The Switch colour theme is a nice touch on the controller too!

Still going strong after 2 weeks.

My five year old little boy needed a controller to use on his switch that worked and let him play his games but wasn’t overly expensive. This controller is great value for money and works great. It is a perfect size for his little hands but also works fine with adult hands too

The controller itself has a different texture on the handle parts which provides a good grip this helps him to hold the pad properly when getting excited on games. The battery is a quick charge and lasts a good while with no charge needed after an hour or so.

The controller connects easily just by following the instructions in the book. The buttons all work great with no lagging at all.

Depending on how you are using this controller you will get different results and experience. Visually this controller look neat, got all functionality from pro controller from switch and even more such an programmable buttons on back.

Firstly i tried this on windows with cable and it wasn’t best experience. Windows detects this as xbox 360 controller and should be fine however this controller have different button layout and letters so when playing game, it shows to press A but actually on controller it is Y for example. Super confusing. Problem disappears when connecting with windows via Bluetooth. Then windows detects this as normal pro controller and displaying correct button and everything is fine.

It has 2 super powerful motors for vibrations. Very comfortable in hand. Both triggers doesn’t feel nice, very short travel, completely different comparing to ps4 or ps5 for example.

With Nintendo switch connects immediately, and much more comfortable rather than joy-cons.

Work great via bluetooth, triggers are a bit too stiff

This is a wireless controller suited for use with a Nintendo Switch and one that comes supplied with a USB C charging cable.

This controller is black with red and blue accents to match the original Nintendo Switch colours. It features the core Nintendo Switch buttons as well as a turbo button and two additional buttons on the rear of the controller. The guide provides further information on how to program these buttons.

The guide itself is useful and also provides step by step information for connecting the controller to the switch, which actually proves quick and easy to do.

The size of the controller is good in that it sits well in my hands. The buttons are slightly larger than those on the Nintendo Switch controller. As an adult this is a nice touch as the buttons on the switch controllers can feel small at times.

The controller itself does indeed seem responsive, albeit so far. It does not have motion control but it does have a vibrate function which reacts to what’s happening on onscreen. The vibrations are surprisingly strong but still react very well to what your eyes are seeing on screen. It is also possible to adjust down the strength of the vibration.

The charger comes with a charging cable which is simple to use.

Overall, if you are looking for an additional controller for your Nintendo Switch albeit one in that has the style of a more traditional controller, then this controller is a good option.

Comfortable to hold, programmable buttons and has a strong vibratio

First impression of this controller is that it is a bit light in the hand and the rubberised grips feel good.

Pairing this to the Nintendo Switch was a cinch, and I was ready for some gaming. Being on the lighter side the controller doesn’t get tiring to hold and the buttons & joysticks feel responsive when playing all types of games (platform, FPS, strategy).

The controller comes with an internal battery ans it’s held its charge for all the gaming sessions I’ve used it for, with about 4 hours being the longest I’ve used it in one stint.

Overall, my first impressions were correct as this is a solid-feeling controller that holds well in the hand thanks to its rubberised grips and light weight.

I received this Nintendo Switch Wireless Controller for free as part of the Amazon Vine Programme.

This controller is great! It is a nice alternative to having to use the joy cons especially when it comes to more adventure like games such as the Witcher and Zelda! It feels comfortable to hold and I love the red and blue highlights that match the switch! I kept accidentally pressing the back buttons at first but got used to the controller quite quickly. I found it a little challenging to connect the controller to the switch at first but once it’s done you don’t have to do it again which is nice! I love that it is a cheaper alternative to some other controllers out there and it works really well!

Very impressed with the quality of this controller that pairs well with our Switch and at the current price of 22.99 for the black it’s fantastic value for money for the build and features.

With its ergonomic design it’s comfortable to hold which is a important feature. The buttons are firm however still flexible enough to control.
It has built in 6-axis gyro and double vibration, high precision 3D joystick which is designed to help improve accuracy. There are 4 levels of vibration intensity, 3 levels of speed turbo and with a charge time of 3.5 hours to fully charge the controller, you get 8-10 hours long play time. You can pair it via Bluetooth which was easy enough to do and has a USB-C port and cable however the cable is shorter then we would have preferred.

Overall very impressed with this controller and happy to recommend.

Experience a better gaming experience with this Zexrow Wireless Controller which is compatible with Nintendo switch.

The Wireless controller has a built in 6-axis gyro and double vibration to experience a more realistic effect from the game. The buttons are upgraded which supports advanced moves. For the accuracy of the games, the 3D joysticks offer a high-quality precision.

In addition, the speed turbo has 3 adjustable levels which are strong, medium, and weak. The switch wireless controller has a good battery consumption and can be used from 8-10 hours after being fully charged. This controller has also a screenshot feature to capture special moments.

I gave this to my son, and he is happy with this controller. It is ergonomically designed making it more comfortable for the hands. The battery lasted, even after he spent hours of gaming online with friends.

Overall, this item is superb for gaming and the price is just right for its excellent quality.

Controller pairs with switch perfectly, no issues. Thumb sticks and buttons aren’t as smooth as the Pro controller but not bad either. Great alternative for half the price

This Switch controller is currently on sale at just over 20 – and it’s great value at that price. The controller itself is solidly built and a reasonable weight. The buttons and thumb sticks are responsive. I’ve used this controller regularly for a week now and can’t find any issues with it other than the provided charging cable, which is very short: if you are going to need to play and charge at the same time you will need to find a longer cable. It uses a standard USB-C cable, which many people will have spares of already.

I also tested the controller with a PC. This worked fine in wired mode, although if this is all you are going to use it for then there are better value controllers out there. I see this as primarily a Switch device with limited Windows use as a bonus.

    Great controlle

Now it has to be said that I have purchased and own a fair few other non official controllers in my time so I can directly compare to many other non licensed manufacturers as well as a produce a comparison against the official products too. What I can tell you is that this particular unit is actually pretty impressive when compared to others being offered in the market place today. Here is a breakdown of the pro’s and con’s of this unit against a more expensive officially licensed unit as well as other non branded counterparts.

The unit is a little slimmer than some non branded controllers and has a slightly different shape when compared to the official joy cons or pro wireless controllers that are manufactured and supplied for the Switch console. Indeed it has a slightly different design and feel to other non branded competitors available to purchase separately in the market today too. It’s certainly not uncomfortable to hold and use although it takes a little getting used to when you have spent a long time holding the more slimline official JoyCon controller. My eldest children actually found it easy to hold despite its larger size and preferred to use this one over the original joy cons. My youngest kids had no troubles adapting either but unlike my eldest, they actually preferred my licensed and other non branded pads over this one. For me personally I also found it easy to adapt to and I actually found I preferred the look and feel in use of this controller.

Out of the box setting up is an absolute breeze. I attached the accompanying USB cable directly to the switch to charge it and as soon as I turned my console on and pressed the on button on the controller it recognised it instantly without me having to do anything. I was up and playing games in less than 60 seconds. How easy and simple is that?

The buttons are all mapped the same as a standard controller too so no need to mess about assigning each or configuring layouts. There are some additional buttons including a turbo button and two additional flappy switch buttons on the rear of the unit which I believe may be programmable? I personally didn’t need or use these features though so I cannot comment directly on this aspect. The rumble feedback is good and actively replicates my official joy cons and charge wise this unit lasts about the same time as standard controller, with re-charge times being approximately the same too. Being USB you can either plug directly into your console or charge it up elsewhere. A small row of lights highlight the position number if multiple players are using other control pads. This particular model is a little slimmer than the official pro wireless offering from Nintendo, albeit only marginally so, but nonetheless still has a very nice and tactile feel to it in my humble opinion.

There is no lag between button presses and thumb pad movement and everything works exactly as expected. Button presses do feel a little clunkier and more ‘clicky’ than I would like but that may be just reflective of price and certainly not something I really noticed after a short time using it. It’s incredibly cheap when compared to the official pro wireless control pad yet performs exactly the same but its available for aa fraction of the cost of an official unit. Would I purchase this one again or recommend it? I am happy to say it’s a resounding yes! It feels more than comfy for longer gaming sessions and having other similar non-branded controllers this one stacks up really well. Ultimately it’s a good controller and priced incredibly low for what it is. Quality of build is particularly good and I can see this unit lasting a very long time. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this at all. Perfect!

This is a good quality controller that worked on our Switch. It needed a charge with the included type-C cable and our own plug (no plug included). Once charged it linked to the Switch through the onscreen settings easily. Now it connects and works reliably. It feels like a well designed and comfy fit for extended play sessions. Glad we trialled this controller!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersZexrow Wireless Controller for Switch

a good wireless control for the switch. sometimes playing certain games on the switch your better off using a controller rather than the joy con’s
i liked the experience i had with this controller the battery lasted a few gaming sessions. the size of the controller felt nice in the hands the ergonomics was nice. the analog stick moved smoothly on its gyro not like some that felt harsh.
the controller feedback was rather good there 4 levels of vibration, the 2 buttons on the back can be programmed for your liking.
the turbo function also has 3 levels which makes things easier in FPS games. while also having a home button and screenshot button

overall its a good alternative to the original controller if your looking to spend too much.

This controller is really nicely designed and has some good features.
The handle grips have a textured rubber feel to give you a good grip and then the control sticks are in a comfortable place for your thumbs, I like the buttons all over the front with plenty of selection options and on the back I love the small paddle buttons that make for perfect gear changing on racing games. On the top you have 4 trigger buttons, and these are buttons not throttle controls so you can’t get percentage acceleration etc but for most games you play on a switch they are perfectly fine.
It has a USB-C port and cable, so I was pleased to see a universal charging cable and the fact its rechargeable so no need for loads of battery changing.
Overall, for 20.69 currently I think it’s a good price for a cool looking easy to connect controlle

good wireless controller for the Nintendo switch

i’ve only experience with a few joypads in my time, the xbox one, ps5 and a couple of logitech ones. i think this is one of the nicest, most comfortable and well built controllers i have used and it just works.
it has a nice weighty feel to is and each button has a firm and definite feel to it when pressed. the vibration is also very powerful although i don’t like it so leave it off most of the time.
in terms of getting it up and running, just plug it in and away you go – no issues at all. i have not tried the bluetooth connectivity just yet.
some of the branded ones can cost close to 100 if not more – this offers all the functionality but for a fraction of the price.
also dropped it a few times on a hard wood floor and it’s not broken.
this is one complaint and it is a minor one… the cable is tiny! but as it is USBC, i was able to replace with a spare one which is much longer.

    why pay more?

This Bluetooth controller from Zexrow has a whole load of features, mixed with a very ergonomic layout at a pretty attractive price. There’s a couple of things that stop it from being perfect — but it’s far from a bad controller.

In terms of features, this controller is almost overwhelming — with 5 function buttons on the front (~3 more than normal) and fixed M1M2 buttons on the back, there’s a lot going on here; which you’ll likely either get on with or not, depending on your needs. A few of the hotkeys are multi-functional (for example, holding frown the “T” button and pushing the left joystick up or down controls the vibration intensity, while pressing it with one of the face buttons sets that button to turbo), which can get a bit complicated in remembering what’s doing what. I’ve personally found this particularly becomes a common problem with these types of controllers around young ones — who can accidentally set the controller to turbo press “a”, causing their characters to do something crazy and you end up being handed the controller blind and asked to “fix it”. Used as expected though, it can be quite useful — especially having M1M2 buttons mapped to particular buttons can give you quick access without stretching or moving your fingers from a gripped position — which can be super handy in racing or some action games. So I think the various “pro” options will either be liked, disliked or completely ignored in relation to what type of gamer you are.

As a controller, the design is pretty ergonomic — it can take a little while to get used to but actually really works. Everything’s within comfortable distance (except the function buttons) and everything’s well placed — the mic jack at the bottom, charge port at the top (which is USB-C, so great!) just makes sense and works really well. The grips are the only thing holding the design side of it down; it’s a bit too rough and clashes with the rest of the “clean plastic” look.

Control wise, the joysticks are great — they’ve got a lot of travel and respond well. They’re slightly raised but not in an uncomfortable manor, I like them. Buttons are very good, bigger than normal but very responsive and work well. Shoulder buttons are fine, now sharp edges and can be pressed from multiple angles and analogue triggers are a bit on the soft side and don’t have a lot of travel but still work. The dpad is the only element letting the controller down, it’s size is ok but the indented middle circle just throughs any form of combinations off and makes directional travel feel unnatural.

Overall, the Zexrow controller is actually very good — during a promotion at time of review is available for ~ 18, which I think represents good value for money for an improved third party controller.

    A great controller!

The perfect solution for your kid’s new switch, as they are so used to regular-sized controllers, and this just adds to the fun. This Zexrow switch controller is a wireless controller gamepad compatible with the switch and supports wakeup, screenshot, and vibration functions. This is a universal switch pro controller fully compatible with switches/switch lite.
