Got this for my daughter who has ASD and finds it hard to make friends, this was perfect she laughing playing games even gos to sleep beside her on the bed side table. Cozmo has brought so much joy to her I’m one very pleased mummy
This was a late addition to my son’s Xmas list. It is expensive but it has brought him ours of amusement. He is 8.
Works great with the free app.
Really good idea for a interactive toy.
She loved it to start but we have found now that 3 months down the line that it hardly gets played with. I guess it was always going to be a fad. Glad we bought in the sale. I’m sure she will use it again, but not as often as I would like.
This obviously isn’t the fault of the toy.
Did everything promised, was a big hit for about a week, but then was never touched again since, so maybe not really worth as much money as I spent.
I raised the issue with Anki support who referred me back to Amazon – but the Amazon return window closed a couple of months after it was bought – and now a month or so later the device is dead.
Proceed with caution if buying online from Amazon. Having spent over a 120 on this there appears no obvious recourse to a warranty
Update – March 2019
I subsequently found out this was under warranty by contacting Amazon customer service directly – item was replaced immediately without fuss – a good outcome. Hopefully the new unit lasts a bit longer.
My son loves his cozmo robot! I was a little surprised by how small he was when we first recieved him but once he came alive I was amazed. Very loved toy! Would 100% recommend
My grandson absolutely loved his Cosmo robot. It was his favourite present.
I was a bit dubious about spending so much on Cozmo, but he has definitely been worth it. My two sons (aged 9 and 6) play with him every day. He sings, does tricks, tells stories (that you write), plays games. He can recognise you and call you by your name. An excellent buy.
My son loves it! However had to get a fire table for it to work.. not impressed with that/ spending even more money!

Bought as a special gift for a clever 5 yr old. He is delighted with Cozmo and is learning to do some of the coding.
Brilliant toy but more than just a toy- my daughter loves trying out some coding to get it to do other cool tricks. Very entertaining & educational too, the full package!

Bought this for my gadget loving partner but when I tried it out first I was hooked, loads of fun! He did get it for Christmas, nearly!
Bought as a gift. The little one is only three, so possibly a little young at the moment to understand that Cozmo isn’t one of his cars. His face lit up when Cozmo said his name – magical. Let the fun begin!
It’s been a few weeks since I originally bought 3 Cozmos one after another since none seemed to work, which was very strange.
They worked fine (mostly) at my office, but once I got home they just refused to work. Maybe interference with my neighbour’s router (since I tried turning mine off) or other wireless devices.
I created a support ticket with Anki, and after sending them detailed feedback (including photos/videos) of the problems and exchanging a couple of more messages, an issue was found in the firmware.
They fixed the issue and gave me access to a Beta version for me to test.
Once I managed to update the firmware after a couple of tries (since the problem itself makes it hard to complete an update), all seems to be working fine. No more problems waking up, disconnects, or random shutdowns. 🙂
The downside is that if you have these problems to begin with, you might need complete the update process in an environment where everything works fine to begin with.
I’m happy I managed to help Anki sort this out and provide a better experience for everyone else (hopefully) 🙂

Been trying to get one for my kid, and all 3 I ordered so far are defective.
They don’t even go through the entire setup procedure without crashing, turning off, disconnecting, etc.
Even tried different phones, and USB chargers to make sure it wasn’t a power issue.
I’m posting some pictures/videos of all 3 I got, although I didn’t record all the problems.
First one I got: Could barely keep the wifi connection up. It would show “Cozmo 01” error constantly during the setup procedure. Once I got past that, it wouldn’t finish the “wake up” setup step without shutting down. After maybe 1 hour of attempting to finish the setup, it successful woke up, and I used it for a few minutes before putting it back in the box to take home (I was in the office). As soon as I got home, I showed it to my kid. He was very excited, but any attempts to get it running failed.
Second one: Thinking that maybe going for the Collectors Edition would be safer, I ordered one of those. Once it was delivered (I was in the office), I promptly went trough the setup procedure. This one worked fine first try. Went through the setup just fine, and I played with it for a few minutes before putting it back in the box to take home. Once I got home, any further attempts to get it running failed. Once my kid went to bed, I gave it another go, and was behaving like the first one. Screen corruption, turning off, disconnecting, etc. Because of these problems, the app was also stuck in a loop trying to “update” Cozmo every time I tried to setup it up. As soon as Cozmo crashed it was back to square one.
Third one: Order another of the classic ones (white/red). This time I didn’t even bothered trying it at work. Only opened it at home after my kid went bed (just to avoid another disappointment). Another dud. Final step of the setup procedure, it makes a loud beep and turns off (You can see that in the video).
Even tried leaving it to charge for a long while. No luck.
Considering it says in the description “Rigorously tested for durability and security”… I’m either very unlucky, or that’s complete B.S.
I don’t think I’ll bother trying to get a 4rd one.
Now, time to come up with what to say to my kid once he’s back from nursery today, since for the last week, first thing he asks me when I get home is… “Daddy, did you get me another robot?”
Anki Cozmo is part of our family now. He is super cute and loads of fun. We love it when he recognizes one of us and says your name. He loves to play games with his cubes and that can keep us entertained for ages. He is also fun to program and the app makes that almost as simple as it makes playing games.
Cozmo is very cute and my son loves playing with it. Works well.
Brought this as a Xmas present for my 8 year old. So much fun and easy to use. Lots of different things to do. Really has made us giggle.
Brought as the main present for my 8 year old son and he absolutely loves it! It’s a really interactive toy with a great personality, with the added benefit of being educational. I particularly like the coding interface, with the ability to modify the games that have already been loaded.
Great fun my son loves it – recognises the family and calls out names. I’m even taking it to work to liven up meetings.

This little guy is amazing! My son has had hours of fun from him and keeps telling me it’s the best gift he’s received. Very cute, very amusing…expensive but worth it!

Slightly premature for my 5yo but he loves it nonetheless. Good reading skills and the ability to use an iPhone/iPad are a must!
Opted for Cozmo over Vector for my 6yr old this Christmas mainly due to the fact vector is quite new still and very little updates being released at the present time. Cozmo did not disappoint, the whole family loves his quirkiness and cute personality and definitely will bring everlasting enjoyment. Top marks Anki.
The box was slightly damaged when it arrived but Gozmo was absolutely fine.
Great toy. 6 and 4 year old love it. But it’s all controlled by the app, which I don’t like as kids need my phone.
Great for the kids, fun and educational. Not convinced it will last that long though…
Also worth mentioning that the one I received from Amazon wasn’t new! The box was taped up with sellotape, it already had the battery tabs removed and we found a piece of paper with hand writing inside the box (which wasn’t ideal for a xmas present!) Luckily it works ok so my son is happy and that is what matters.
Bought it for my Son who has hardly put it down since opening it.
Amazing, clever robot. Recognises faces/names. Plays games. Can spy in rooms. Wonderful robot!
My daughter received this on Christmas day and played with it all day and first thing boxing day. He says her name when he sees her and unlocks more interactive games as she plays with him. He celebrates when he wins and sulks or gets mad when he loses. We brought him to see the rest of the family and everyone (including 6 adults) were sat around watching him and playing games with him – just fun to watch and my daughter loves him! great gift, albeit an expensive one.
You need an android or IOS phone or pad To use with it for the majority of the time. If you intend letting your children use your own phone be prepared to lose it for hours on end. Also, when they go to bed you will find yourself interacting and playing games with him.
Excellent purchse and the whole family love him.
Gave this for Xmas, kept him amused for hours. Quick to set up and get going. He said he’s glad he has this rather than Vector.

Defo worth getting, dont forget though however that your child will need an phone or tablet to run him (worth checking the site first as the older versions of Android dont always work with Cozmo) Puts Chip to shame, great fun and our 7 year old has been playing with him non-stop for the last month. You can buy the limited edition one for the same price at time of writing (23/12/18)
Well built, interactive robot. Great for kids (and their parents). For the little children there are simpler games. You can also make it perform a play by writing lines and changing it’s emotions. For the programming savvy it has a graphical interface suitable for children and API.

Fantastic! Kept the whole family amused for all of Christmas night and still going now. Love the tantrums when you beat him at his own game.
Temperamental little things when you don’t pay every day. Mostly good fun. Doesn’t sing so well but plays peekaboo enthusiastically.
Great present bought for my children as a Christmas presents one each. Easy to set up on the phone and this was a good quirky gift for Christmas. Entertainment value was worth it =)
My kid loves it so much and i think it’s a great toy for your kid and definitely an investment of ur money if you want something that it’s going to last you for a long time and as well being educational for your kid
Nice toy. Fun to play with. Installation takes a few minutes. It’s an interesting device, looks funny and does some amazing things. Only problem is that it requires wi-fi connection, thereby, you can`t have Ozmo around if you need to use your connectivity for something else.
Has kept my wife and kids amused since Christmas, quite a character on this little chap and very easy to use.
Bought it for my wife for Christmas and she loved it. The only real down side is that the longevity of the product is in some doubt regarding long term interest.

Unique clever and forever learning. Very sturdy and the interaction is brilliant it even remembers your face blots of fun activities and games. My 6 year old son loves it. Worth the,admittedly, slightly high price
Love, love, love Cosmo. Bought this for my sons Christmas and we both love him, he’s such a lovely little character. His facial expressions and responses are so endearing and there’s always updates with something new for him to do or sing. Would definitely recommend him.

Live this little guy, so does my son who he was a present for. The ability for you to program him yourself adds depth. The cat was a bit freaked out though. 🙂
What a little character. Its now Jan the 23rd and he’s played with nearly every day so that my son gets his points that then earn him more games etc – really clever. could be a bit bigger though.
Awesome. I got mine as a birthday present – it’s very entertaining to interact with it. Fascinating to watch as it gets frustrated if you won’t play with it. Cats are very curious, but wary. Looking forward to having a go with the programming mode and SDK.

This is a great product, its not a toy its so much more. Great interface and easy to understand and very engaging. Our boy is starting to get into coding and cozmo helps with this as you can code and teach it moves and sequences.
My daughter loves this. The app and games make it easy to get started. Cozmo can also be programmed via the app, and sdk, providing a nice introduction to computer programming for kids (both young and old).
Bought Cosmo for my 9 year old son for Christmas, absolutely amazing!!! Well worth the high price tag. My son has downloaded the Cosmo App and he is in awe of this intelligent little robo
As you unlock the locked features he becomes the craziest robot I’ve seen we had to send the first one back amazon sent a replacement next day the cubes would not work on the first one but would recommend to any electronic’s geek you will have hours of fun .
