It’s a massive bottle, easy to hold and refill, also easy to clean. Sturdy construction, and looks nice, with a slightly textured finish. Bought a different colour one for my partner and both arrived in excellent condition. Never been so well hydrated in my life.
Perfect 2l bottle
I was a bit unsure about a 2.2L bottle because of how big they are. But, I wanted to make myself drink 2L or more every day and having it in one bottle means that you can’t cheat by ‘forgetting’ to refill your 1L bottle! Also, the fact that the bottle is transparent really helps in letting you know how much you have left. The handle in the side is good to grip and the bit you drink through is just the right size.
Not the most durable thing in the world
Did the job for a while, but after 6 months of wear and tear, developed a leak. It’s fine for keeping on a desk or something like that, but I wouldn’t use it at a gym.

This is a brilliant bottle for everyday use. The colour is great and it’s very stylish looking. It’s super-sized so holds loads of water, guaranteeing that the daily amount is consumed without requiring a refill. The spout is smaller than the usual bottles of this size, making it much easier to drink from. The bottle material feels strong and hard-wearing. I also bought the bottle at a brilliant price, so was even more pleased with the purchase. Highly recommended.
Good size and easy to handle but tricky to drink from
It’s well made and sturdy but I find it tricky to drink from as it gurgles and I stuck in air with the water. It’s due to the little pressure hole.
Product looks great, packaged really well, it’s a great size and has a secure top. The only minor observation is that it makes quite a funny noise when either drinking from or pouring out. Similar to a birds whistle. Quite funny really.
Great to transport large amount of liquid
Great to transport large amount of liquid (I don’t like drinking tap water in my office) but not the easiest to drink from due to the size but I use to refill my smaller bottle throughout the day
Right handed
Lovely bottle, but it’s only for right handed people.
It sounds silly but your only able to drink from the lid at the top when holding in your right because of the way its positioned.
It’s not a deal breaker but the details matter!

Durability it great, I’ve had mine a year and it works perfectly and never had a leak.
Would only recommend using this for water aa anything else would require a deeper clean which might be a little tricky.
It even has a little escape hole for the air to escape so it doesn’t glug when you take a sip.
Conclusion: Great bottle for water, very reliable even after a year of use everyday.

I like everything about this bottle except for the whistling noise when you drink. Apart from that noise, it is lightweight, easy to carry, and I find it very useful to only have to fill up my bottle once a day

Good bottle, not as durable as you’d expec
The bottle has honestly been very good for the last 3 months until today. When after I dropped it from around a meter height, with no liquid inside, it got damaged and there is a small puncture in the bottom now. Was expecting a bit more durability considering the thick plastic that it is made from.
UPDATE: Customer support contacted me after they saw this review and provided a refund after hearing about my experience, no questions asked. This makes my issue a lot less significant and hopefully, it was just a quality control issue.
Good jug, big capacity.
Bought this jug when I dropped my other one and it cracked open. They are definitely resilient but can’t stand up to being dropped on a hard floor whilst full. I find these do tend to whistle and make a bit of a noise when drinking from them but it’s never something thats put me off. Large capacity and use daily. No weird smells or tastes like i’ve had with some other bottles. Only downside is, you can’t really clean it out very easily as there is only the access from the top.

It holds water well, doesn’t leak, it’s very good for summer, doing sports and is in the middle range of prices. If I needed a new one I’d get it in the same colour.
4.0 out of 5 stars Okay but a couple of minor points.
Overall this is a plastic water jug so in reality there’s very little to get excited about. I chose the Mono sprayed finish to match a Hydrate Black Camo neoprene sleeve I bought separately. Someone else said in another review that this jug comes with a “cute sleeve” – no, it doesn’t. You have to buy that from a separate Amazon listing and absolutely doesn’t come with the package.
If you don’t buy the separate carrier sleeve then there’s a webbed strap around the bottle lid which is okay for carrying, but is more annoying and less user-friendly than the fixed plastic handles which accompany the metal versions of these jugs (I also bought one of these to compare the two).
The jug does indeed make the comical whistling sound as you drink which other customers have mentioned. This is because as you suck you draw water through the nozzle and the valve responds, making a whistling noise. This is actually a better drinking “experience” versus the metal version, since those jugs do not, for some reason, include a valve in the lid which instead creates a vacuum.
It may be because I chose the Mono coloured finish that I’ve experienced almost immediate wear and tear, but at the top of the jug handle, due to the neoprene handle rubbing the plastic, the paint has worn away to reveal that it is either a black jug half spray-painted white or vice versa. This obviously hasn’t been applied with any degree of durability.
So it’s okay, holds your water at the end of the day but is a bit cheap and plasticky so I prefer (and will more frequently use) my metal version over this.
A little expensive
Its a water bottle, it does what its’s supposed to, but for the price I expected a more premium feeling item, this feels a bit flimsy. Overall though it serves its purpose.
Solid quality and seal is good
It’s a sturdy bottle and decent seal. The wrist strap isn’t removable which some might find annoying.
The lid cap has a small hole to allow the air in when drinking but you can get the odd drop come out if it’s quite full and you suddenly chug from it.

Easy to use and carry. Only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is that when drinking, it makes a whistle sound which to be honest, I don’t really mind but can be annoying for others.

Bought this bottle today, it looks good, it’s sturdy, has a handle, doesn’t smell weird, fairly easy to clean. The only slight problem that I should point out is when you drink out of it, it makes a whistle sound because of the tiny hole above where you drink out of. I know the purpose of this tiny hole is to make sure the cap shuts tight but the sound can be a problem for some people, it’s the sound of suction so if you don’t suck into the drink and just pour the drink upwards into your mouth it won’t make a sound. Anyways, good quality water bottle!

Great bottle which holds 2.2L weirdit shows measurements on the side when bottle isn’t clear but stoll works I guess when trying to see how much is left. Only pet peeve is that sometimes the air hole whistles so when ha ung a drink at night it’s a little noisy. But overall great purchase 4/5 would highly recommend. Xx

Stays fresh
First and foremost doesn’t impair the taste of the water. No plastic taste or smell.
Nice and water tight and easy to tell how much water is left and helps me achieve my goal of 2.5 litres a day. It’s an easy bottle to carry witg lots of grip around the whole bottle.
The only gripe I have is that there is a small air hole on top to help it pour instead of ‘glug’ when drinking – But it does create a whistling sound much to the complaint of people in the office!!

Never cracked or leaked for me, however don’t go for the grey as it doesn’t look like the picture. It’s also very hard to clean inside the bottle and I find it’s awkward to hold based on where your hand grips & where the mouth opening is if the lid is on tigh
Update: I’ve updated my review to a 4 out 5. Simply as the vendor reached out and asked for a second chance. I am very sure that the leaking bottle I got would have been a one off, but their customer service is excellent.
Started to leak after 2 days of use. Also if you use your left hand, then the handle and nozzle position makes it almost impossible use with your left hand. If you are after a large water bottle, look else where.
Better than expected
The first time I got one of these types of bottles it smelt and leaked often however that was a different brand.
A few months ago I had bought one from this brand and for a few weeks it was good ,came with a strange smell but it’s easy to clean , after a few weeks passed it suddenly started leaking despite having only taken it to work and back home where it had been on a counter.
I thought to try give it another try and I’m glad I did . The bottle is very easy to clean and is easy to carry . The only issue I’ve had with this new bottle since buying it was that the texture on the area between the bottle and handle is quite rough against the knuckles.

Been using this bottle for a long time now, it never leaks and has never had a fault with it. I take it everywhere I go and its still in amazing condition. It does make a weird whistling noise when I drink from it but thats no real problem.

I’ve had two now. They’re such a good shape and size, perfect for what I need. The lod works well to allow easy drinking and prevent leaking. However, both bottles have broken whilst in my rucksack within 6 months. It’s a shame because other then how brittle they are, it’s a great bottles. They then replaced it, really good customer service!

The bottle is very convenient for my daily intake as all i have to do is fill it once and knowing that i just need to carry one bottle of water where ever i go is very nice. I damaged the top rubber part as it was splitting and i messaged the team and they had no issue sending me a new one free of charge, this company really does care about their customers. Robust leak proof bottle ideal for gym
After much research of the wide choice of large drink bottles suitable for gym use, I went for this lower end priced Hydrate XL bottle in black, based on customer reviews. So far I have been very happy with my purchase. The bottle feels robust, and I have had no leakage issues, so long as I click the flip top cap firmly in place. The carry strap is handy, as an alternative to holding it by the moulded handle. I wash with warm soapy water which seems to do the job. I imagine the bottle could crack if dropped onto a hard surface when full, so it is just about being careful when handling. It’s had plenty home and gym use to date, with no issues, and looks as good as new
