This Night Cat tent is really a one person tent – it is fine for two children but can only just fit two adults with no space for anything else. It is lightweight and compact, and therefore could work for solo hikes. The quality is good but it is definitely a fair weather tent – I wouldn’t want to be out in this in any strong weather as it is not particularly sturdy. Really I think it serves best for two purposes: (1) as a tent for children – in the garden or summer holiday; or (2) as a solo festival tent.

Didn’t have time to check the tent before I had to use it, big mistake… missing clips to hold inner tent to frame, missing clips to hold fly sheet so lots of tape and string used only to find that when it rained most of the seams in the flysheet leaked… at the end of a very wet weekend I kept the tent poles and pegs as spares, the rest went in the closest bin!!
After a couple of messages between the sellers and myself, nightcatoutdoors sent me a replacement tent of a much higher specification free of charge. The new tent is the waterproof 2-4 man pop up tent, everything was there and having now tried it (admittedly not in torrential rain), I can say it is very well made and should hopefully last quite a few years.
Nightcatoutdoors are a very easy company to deal with, eager to please and they want to make sure that the product is right for you the customer.
If you have any problems with their products get in touch with them and they will do their best to help you.

The camping tent is waterproof, which is very good, but I personally prefer staying away from rain with small tents like this.
It looks well made and feels okay when the weather is not too windy.
It is also good choice when you are going for fishing and you can use it to sleep inside.
It is not that simple to assemble it and you have a lot of things to do before finish with the assembly.
It is fairly easy for two people to assemble it, but not that easy for one person.
The camping tent has a storage bag, which makes it easy to carrying.
The camping tent is very good sized for two people and also you can put a camping mat inside.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

This is such a lightweight and compact tent – it’s ideal when you have limited room but need a good quality tent.
It’s very easy to put up – only requiring one person to do so and the same is for putting it down too – very easy for one person to do.
The tent easily holds one person but it can hold two – it is a comfortable fit though so if you don’t like your camping partner all that much then maybe buy a bigger tent!
It’s only been used on dry days at the moment so not sure about how waterproof it is yet.

I was really surprised how well this tent came out to be.
It is nice and lightweight and it actually is a really good little decent size.
I am 5ft4 and a size 18 and there is plenty of room for me and my husband to sleep comfortably inside.
I love the insect net it has built into it so you can have your tent open for all the fresh air but be sure you will not be taken for a midnight buffet for the mites.
Inside you can hang your lantern light or even a battery fan if you really get too warm.
I think it is perfect quality and is definitely ideal for camping on a budget, I can even see us use it for the beach maybe sometime as well.

This lightweight two person dome tent with a large D-style door was designed for comfort, space, and convenience.

The poles and ventilation window allow you to utilize this tent in spring, summer, or fall.

The polyester coating on the tent body and the detachable rain fly help to ensure water does not make its way into the inside of your tent.

Additionally, the taped seams offer rain proof protection for an enjoyable, and dry, trip.

When you are finished with your trip, you can simply place the tent components back into the carrying bag to easily pack up and transport.

    Till now it last.

Nice tent made from 2 pieces:inner and outer parts with easy installation and lightweight and sturdy materials. What is great for this tent is that you can put it on your backpack easily having around 2 kilograms and with reduce dimensions of 40 cm in lenght and 15 cm width.I like that cames with metallic Poles that are long term lasting and good ventilation inside with big net doors and good waterproof protection. This tent was more than enough for 2 persons and I enjoyed using it.

    Kids love it of course.

I’m impressed with the tent quality and the ease it goes up. The quality is better than a pop up beach tent but not as good as a more serious tent which to be fair is a lot more money.
The big negative for me is that I am 6’1″ and I have to lie diagonally which rules out 2 people as if I lie straight then my head and feet both push against the sides, and not just a little touch either.

The two layers provide good protection from the rain and sun and although it did get very hot in the sun like you’d expect you can open the back as well with the inner netting still in place to have the draught going through.

Not bad at all for the price and for two layer tent with some good features, size is a problem for me but if you’re not as tall then you won’t have a problem but it would still be a tight fit.

Good tent but I only fit diagonally

I haven’t camped in years, my old tent being a decidedly leaky eurohike. In terms of sturdiness, this isn’t as robust feeling as that one, but it is more waterproof, albeit going off a bucket test in the back garden rather than a Swiss downpour. It is lightweight, though, to the extent that I would only want to use this in decent weather. It’s not something to take up a mountain in October. I wasn’t overly sure about the design initially, with the internal tent hooking onto the poles rather than the poles being threaded through fabric the way I’m used to, but in practice it does work well. I like the fact that it has buckles to attach the outer tent to the inner. Space wise, it’s what it’s sold as: a small two man tent – you go in to shelter and/or sleep, not to stretch out and have a dinner party. Has some nice features with the torch hook, pockets, and vents. You do need to refold it quite carefully to be able to easily get it back in the bag. All in all, I’m happy, but will need to take it on a proper field test (literally!) in coming weeks to see how it stands up over the course of a couple of nights.

We regularly go camping as a family and with toddler, extra space and sometimes simply and extra place to sleep is a bonus and this provides this. We’ve not had chance to use it on a few days away yet but did put it up in our garden and my nephew enjoyed his sleep out in it!

It comes in 3 colour options – blue, green and orange and is so portable and lightweight to carry. It is so easy to set up (and pack away) with plenty of space for two though it is snug! There was a small amount of rain when my nephew used it and it seemed to stand up to this but can’t comment yet on how waterproof it would be in a massive downpour! First impressions are really good though and at this point, if looking for an easy to use small tent, this is a good option.

This is a really good tent. The quality is great. It’s really lightweight so handy for carrying around. It’s easy to put up compared to other tents I’ve used. It’s really sturdy once up. Very impressed.

We needed a second tent for my grandkids and this one ticked all the boxes. The tent comes in a nice compact bag with everything needed inside. The quality feels decent and the instructions are easy to follow. It’s pretty simple to setup and takes about 10 -15 mins altogether and about the same time to disassemble. The tent inside easily fits two adults of average height and also has a decent amount of head room.

Overall, I’m pretty pleased and feel its great value for the quality.

This is definitely a five star!

This is a good brand, it didn’t take long to put the tent up. It only took about ten minutes.

The quality of the tent and the sturdiness is brilliant.
I can see this tent lasting along time.

I took this on a camping trip fishing with my son and there was enough room for myself and my 14 year old. There plenty of room for two adults.
There is a decent amount of room Inside. It only rained a short time but was completely waterproof.

Its light to carry and good value for money.

Night Cat Camping Tent for 2 Persons.

This tent is well made and more importantly it’s easy to erect and then take down. The tent packs down to a small size and it isn’t to heavy 2332g. The internal size is bigger enough for two persons to sleep comfortably. The waterproofing of the tent is on par with other I’ve slept in.
Other reviews haven’t been to kind on the performance of the tent. In particularly using on a mountain side, and in high winds. The tent isn’t meant for serious off grid camping, nor does the manufacturer claim this. I think it’s a great tent for general occasional use.

The camping tent is very lightweight and easy to assemble in 2 persons.

This is my first camping tent and I’m amazed at how everything fitted into one 40 cm bag.

The over tent material is waterproof and the open net tents are great for keeping the insects away.

The two on the sides open way zipper is great as I don’t need to look for the right way in.

At the time of review, the price was 67.99 which in my opinion is great value for money.

    Amazing

An extremely lightweight tent in a very small, compact size.
When it arrived I thought surely this can’t be it?
The outer sleeve is so tiny it will be easily transportable for say a festival or hiking expedition.
The material is what would consider as occasional use but it is well constructed.

This tent exceeds my expectations; it came well packed and with instructions on how to erect – it’s compact storage makes it ideal for travelling and doesn’t take up too much space.

Quick and easy to set up – didn’t take long at all.

Tent itself is very high quality, has a large mesh outer with ventilation and a door. The outer material is weatherproof and feels adequate when in use to protect against the rain and other elements.

Tent is excellent value for money; spacious for a two person tent.

Based on my experience with this product, I would highly recommend it!

This is for my daughter who has been looking for a small accessible tent to carry with her on her many planned summer festivals.
So far she has reported that it is simple to put up and works well as a single person or even two person tent. The only slight note she has is that it isn’t the lightest of tents, but then that is to be expected.
Overall though, she’s happy and confident using this, even if she’s yet to master packing it all up neatly!
This seems a good quality brand and worth the price tag. I think we would both agree though that it’s more suitable as an occasional overnighter or weekend tent as opposed to a longer-use one.
    Overall, a worthy five-star product.

Currently retailing at 79.99 at time of review, this lightweight tent has ample room for two persons without being uncomfortable. Easy to set up and lightweight and sturdy. Great ventilation so you do not feel ‘suffocated’ in the tent when the ‘doors’ closed.

I took the boys on their first ever camping trip last weekend and tried this out and all round it was excellent. Very easy to set up ,but you do need 2 people really (one to build and thread the poles and the other to hold in the centre) and take back down again. It is quite large and airy – there was my 3 year old and 7 year old sons and me in there and the 3 of us fit with plenty of room. We also had a big downpour and it was definitely waterproof and nothing got wet which was great!

I tested the tent in a field; I didn’t fully tension it; I just wanted to see how it will look. It was easy to setup. Cosy and compact, this tent is lightweight and easy to carry. The materials are strong and tightly woven; and the manual tells you how to setup. I’m looking forward to using this in the forest.

Downside: the is no HH-rating to be seen; not even on their website, so I don’t know how water-resistive the materials are. The base is a bit thin; I will need to have a layer to keep away the ground water and temp.

    I can recommend

We finally put the tent up today. It was fairly simple, but it does take two people initially, especially if you are short like me! Anyway, it’s now resplendent in the garden, but it has been taking taken over by our three cats! I guess we will road test it properly when we go out with the coracle and paddle somewhere quiet. Got now, the tent is easy to erect, has a good inclusive ground sheet and the zips are quite strong. One of the Velcro fittings has been sewn on inside out, but I can easily remedy that. It fits two people and there’s still room inside. However, in today’s not sun, having the tent closed up was a bit much! This means of course, that it should be quite snug when we camp properly above the temperature drops at night. All in all, it’s a basic, no frills set up but for the money, it’s pretty good.

This is a simple small tent. It is bright orange in colour and the material feels of a decent quality.

It comes in its own zippable carry case. It is of standard cosntruction and you simply feed the two extendable poles into preformed eyelets and then put the ends into the end points.

It’s fairly sturdy but if using outside, essential to peg down.

A decent small tent that is easy to assemble and put away again.

Decent quality and simple to put up

This tent is nicely packed and comes with some good features.
I really like the bag that the tent comes in as it has 2 carry handles as well as 2 clip straps that hold it all in shape and provide extra strength to the handles for when you are carrying it around. Also, the bag has a nice zip with the little tassel to make it easier to grab and it goes across the top and then fully round the end to make taking the tent out much easier.
Once unpacked you have a bag with the poles in which are easy to snap together and are connected together with elastic, so you don’t lose any or get them mixed up.
Then you have the main tent which is a nice bright blue outer colour and a dark grey bottom. It’s quite thin material but for summer style camping this will be more than enough.
It was quite easy to put with just the 2 poles crossing over to form the main part and then some pegs to keep it steady on the ground. It’s not an all-weather type of tent but perfect for the odd few nights during the summer.
Overall, currently priced at 79.99 I think it’s a good tent and good value for money, any sort of deal would make it bargain.

I’ll start by saying this is an early review, once I’ve had it out in rainy weather I’ll update the review further.

First impressions of this tent are good, it comes compact, it’s easy to put up/down and there’s definitely enough space for two (although beds/mattresses might be a squeeze).

The tent comes in a small carry bag, when i first saw it I was unsure that the bag would fit the tent in but it was neatly rolled up inside the bag. In the bag you also get pegs and the aluminium poles.

Putting the tent up is a breeze, just clip the aluminium poles in, tie the tie over the top of the poles, clip on the rain sheet, peg it up and you’re done. Took 5-10 minutes at most, really simple. Taking it down is just as simple, just reverse the process and fold up the sheets. Had no problem fitting it in the bag.

There’s definitely enough space for two inside, just make sure your beds/mattresses
in total are less than 134cm and you’ll be fine. Our mattresses are 65cm wide each so there was enough space.

Overall, I’m very impressed with this tent.

    Excellent compact te

We gave this a go today round my brothers house who has a big garden but to be honest its quite a small tent so I could have done it in my own in the end. The tent is good quality and it folds up very compact, infact when it come I was suprised just how small the box was.

The material is very good. I have an old aurohike millets tent and this is much better. It doesn’t take a long time to set up, in fact I did not need to even read the instructions. The fabric is waterproof and it has great zips which are strong, something I always find overlooked on tents. I like the attentiont to details like the vents and hooks for your accessories. The tent has to layers to it, the inner and outer which improves insulation and makes it more sturdy and offers better protection from the elements outside.

Assembling involved inserting poles inside the inner part of the tent. These bend but makes it rigid and strong. It has a buckle design and comes with pegs and ropes to support it. I found it hard to get it back in the bag at the end.
