Does exactly what you want. Turns meat over coals on an 47cm Weber.
I put a gasket on it though it might help with smoke leaks/temp contro but that was actually a bit of a waste of money. So I wouldn’t bother.
Nice little unit which “turned” out some good lamb for Easter.
Tired of scorched and carbonized chicken, decided to take the plunge. Tried two days ago and it works a treat. Only need to make sure you have good quality coal (used Big K apple wood restaurant grade and it didn’t last more than an hour, had to top it up halfway through, which is not great as it is not exactly easy to lift the whole ring and spit with chicken attached…)
