just what i needed.
i bought two of these for outside, one for the hot tub and one in the shed for the chest freezer, utilizing the old aerial holes in walls this was what i needed without involving an electrician.

I purchased this used “Like New” from the Amazon Warehouse, so it came in a tatty box, but otherwise like new indeed.
The cable is quite thick and definitely higher gauge than most extensions, which makes it ideal for my inflatable hot tub, as thin cables run a very high risk of overheating and leading to all sort of (even potentially lethal) troubles.
The box itself is well made and seals as it should, however it’s early days to tell whether it will actually survive the damp and cold winter. Even at full price, this particular extension represents good value when compared to others.

Does not fit all plugs

A normal appliance flat plug is needed to use this extension
Got for outside lights a bit like Christmas lights so the plug is not flat therefore the lid would not shut

Good solid socket.
Wanted this as we purchased a water feature (and i could use the mower on it without going through the garage) Easy to follow instructions. Even a novice like me fitted it in about 30 minutes. Does the job. Nice and tidy looking too.
Easy to install
Liked how easy it is to install only down fall is, it will not close if wire on your item your plugging in is too thick. Ok for outdoor lights as the wire is thin.

Firstly cable appears to be about 1.5mm2 and has a flexible rubber compound, that feels of good quality and likely to last. Socket appears sturdy, albeit it may crack of dropped; but should be fine if used reasonably

Item arrived fast and well packaged, the extension lead is long and already wired up into the socket.
The socket comes with all weatherproof fittings and is easy to install.

This was solid unit protection from weather nice fit and wasn’t expensive so perfect for the job .
Sturdy, but needed a little attentio
Decent build, cable looks to be good quality. Lost a star as the live wire was very poorly attached and the insulation had been damaged, exposing 30mm of wire. Easy to resolve if you’ve the confidence, but let the unit down…
This is a good product. We bought it as a temporary fix to charge our electric car. The only downside is that the charge cable itself is thick in width. This means that we can’t shut the cover properly when charging. We have put it under the eaves of our garage, so hope it won’t get wet when in use!
