It’s tall so the base is big but don’t be put off it’s very quiet both remote and touch buttons are responsive the air flow even on low setting was good well worth the money putting together was one of the best base bodies make sure the cable slips into slot so it lies flat my wife has asthma on the low setting never bothered her keeping our room cool

This a really quiet fan and works really well it was a life saver in the extreme heat we have had
Light it lift so easy move to bedroom and shows the temperature which was handy my dog and cat love it as well

Even on high power I forget it’s on! There is a digital display that shows the rooms temperature – even when fan is off. Not sure how much electric that uses. There is a good distance reached of air blowing. So far so good!

Best fan I have ever owned, definitely worth the money! Love the fact it also has a kids mode, even on the lowest speed it just as effective as on the highest!

Its quiet enough that the dog will happily rest near it and gain the benefit which was the main reason for the purchase whereas our previous air con unit she would leave the room

While being a little expensive this unit is of very good quality. It moves quite a lot of air around too. Never used the sleep mode or remote control so can’t comment on those. I don’t find the lighting intrusive in any room or situation.
This isn’t any more powerful or better at cooling than a conventional propeller type fan of about the same price or cheaper. So don’t expect icy air conditioning type results. It blows the air around and has a gentle cooling effect. If all you are interested in is the cooling effect you can get the same from a standard fan for a better price.
But, it is better to look at and blends nicely into the room decor, it is definitely quieter and when you don’t need it, it is much easier to hide in a corner or under the bed. I am very pleased with mine and found that during the 40C heatwave it kept things at a manageable temperature..

A solution to the heat problem!
I liked it all after putting it together this morning. This is just what I hoped it would be. An almost silent flexible air system that takes up little space and provides wonderfully cool air in one direction or on a rotating basis. It is just what is needed to make office work bearable at a reasonable price.

Better than I though
This unit felt a bit too plastic and the base slots together so I thought it will just fall over and rattle but I was very wrong. It’s quiet enough with no other rattling and the remote control is a very nice touch! The only thing I would say could be improved is that the screen showing the temp stays on when the fan isn’t on but once the fan is running the display switches off. Would be nice to keep seeing the screen and the temp while it’s running.
Overall it’s worth it and I haven’t had any issues with it and I’ve been running it for the last month almost 24/7

Shocked by the difference
I love this fan, the height is perfect why aren’t all tower fans made like this. The breeze is where you want it to be not around your ankles, I love it so much I’m going to buy another one solely for the bedroom
Powerful but...
Not that quite for sleep mode but….. The humming noise helps with sleeping like a white noise app would.
It’s very powerful on high setting but the light showing the temp send to stay on all the time, wish you could change that to go off and only show when you press the on button once.
Anyway, it’s decent for circulating a breeze and had helped during these warm nights so I would still recommend

Not as good as our other fan that was 30 cheaper but that one is out of stock and this one will do. (Not as strong blowing air wise and the height really doesn’t make a difference as the place where it blows air is smaller).
What a terrific fan, love it.

Excellent Upright Fa
What a terrific upright fan, easy to assemble onto the base and lightweight for its size. Just got through the 40 degree heatwave in our area and only needed to use the fan on its lowest setting. The sleep timer is excellent. The only small gripe is the remote control, a little more thought on the buttons required. Overall we were that impressed with it that we have ordered a second one for upstairs.

Had the fan for almost a year and was really pleased with it until it stopped oscillating but was able to get a replacement in less than 20 minutes call, best customer service experience I had in a very long time both from Amazon and PureMate.

Purchased as a replacement, I was impressed by the power of the cool air outflow and the quietness of the fan, even at full power, which is a big plus for its use in the bedroom. The timer functions are handy, especially the sleep mode which keeps the bedroom nice and cool so I can ‘drop off’ in comfort and the fan switches off automatically to save power. I would never go back to cheaper models and can heartily recommend this fan.
Cool as a Cucumbe
Purchased for my bedroom and absolutely brilliant and enjoyed a great night’s sleep after setting timer and fan setting from my bed. Perfect height to give optimum cooling across my bed which is a tad taller than average. Would 100% purchase this product again if required.

Quiet and efficie
On about the hottest day so far I got out my trusty tower fan and found the plug had been broken. I urgently consulted Amazon and found all the likely fans would take days to arrive. So I returned to this one as seemly the one that was quietest and British made. Well, what a great choice; it arrived early on the second day after ordering ( when I was feeling crazy from lack of sleep) and is great in every way. It does what it promises and the sound is just akin to a very soft ” white sound” so doesn’t disturb sleep or interfere with listening activities. It looks rather good, too.
And it has a wee hook to hang the cord on when not in use so I’m less likely to break a prong off the plug.

Lovely item in every way but don’t underestimate its size. It’s massive!! It’s just under 1metre tall and really wide. I returned it as I was under the impression by the listing photo that it was quite compact. I was wrong!!

Works amazingly
Using this in my bedroom since it’s the hottest room in my house and since adding this in it’s a lot more cooler now and I can see how hot it is in my room as well since it shows the degrees on the screen.

Cannot complain it’s excelle
This fan is excellent cannot complain. With all the different range of modes it’s the best fan I’ve owned.
Decent value for money and does what it says on the tin.
I like the coolness of the fan and it’s quiet aesthetically pleasing in terms of appearance.
I don’t like the fact that air only comes out of the front of the fan and not the back, I don’t like the fact it’s highly sensitive to water, and I think they should have an app for iPhone/android.
Sleep mode is convenient and the remote is pretty nifty. I think 70 is maybe slightly over but considering the aesthetic nature of the product which is nice and also the sleep mode it may be just, just right. Overall I would recommend as a solution for a couple years 🙂

I love this fan. It replaced an 18″ floor fan in the bedroom and in comparison, it’s much quieter and more effective. I’m a hot sleeper and this fan keeps the air moving around the room brilliantly.

This fan is incredible, it’s quiet and powerful, plus is doesn’t take up too much room.
My one minor annoyance is that sometimes when it’s turnt off the LED display stays on which can be a pain at night, however it’s a small sacrifice.
